Sweet and shy, Dania is a kind and loving little girl. A little quiet sometimes, she can easily fade into the background in a group of other cubs, but when her twin is around, the pair of them stand out without even meaning to. Dania adores having a twin sister. Kania is her rock, the buffer zone between Dania and the rest of the pride. If anything worries or scares Dania, Kania always seems to make it less important somehow... The first time Dania tried to learn how to hunt she made a total mss of it, but Kania was there, messing up right along side her and somehow, seeing her amazing, bold and brash twin doing just as badly as her makes Dania less self conscious. Sometimes it seems she can do anything so long as Kania is at her side. She will grow into a kind and gentle lioness who adores her family and is completely dedicated to her pride.

The twins often seem as if one mind has been split and put into two separate bodies. One will start a sentence and her twin will finish it without even a pause between them. They often cause confusion with their surround-sound style conversations, befuddling the listener and often distracting the adults from whatever task they were attending to, be it a hunting lesson or telling the twins off. They also appear to know where each other is at any given moment and are highly empathetic to each other’s emotions. Yet what everyone else assumes is a mental link is actually based on a system of twitches and sounds that mean certain things, but only to the twins. Giving them almost their own subtle language through which many a cubbish plan was communicated under their minders noses. This secondary language is almost totally instinctive to them both, so even Kania, the more independent twin, can’t help but respond to it automatically.
They often masquerade as each other around the pride, Kania will pretend to be Dania for a hunting lesson so her less adept twin doesn’t have to embarrass herself in front of the other cubs.. and Dania often sits in for Kania when it comes to herb lore or other more mindful lessons where patience and calmness matter. If one is feeling unwell, the other will take her place, the pair cover for each other instinctively, not even realising it is their deep bond that makes them take comfort from each other more so than most cubs do with siblings.
They both tend to like the same things but in variety. A good example, they both like flowers, but Dania prefers pale, tiny ones and Kania prefers the bold, big ones. They both obviously feel the same way about their pride, being born into it and not knowing anything else, they take the pride rules and traditions very seriously and will be full, dedicated members when they grew up.

Named for the sunshine colour of her fur, Ilanga has a sunny, optimistic disposition, more inclined to claim a kill half-saved rather than half-eaten. Yet she is not frivolous in the slightest, a very practical lioness with the independence and experience that makes a good Cinga. She is devoted to her sisters and the pride as a whole. Good friends with Simosihle and by extension Njalo.

Being partially blind she is more careful and conscious of her surroundings than she used to be. A pleasant female she is soft spoken and easy in her temper. She adores cubs and is happiest when surrounded by them.

Kicked from her home pride by jealous pridemates for being the lead male's favored lioness, she was forced to live a rogue's life. Though she did well enough on her own as a lone hunter and mother it was a very hard existence. She had two litters but has lost several cubs in the course of raising them, as being without the safety of a pride they were vulnerable. Two sons lost to hyenas while she was away hunting, and a daughter murdered by a pair of rogue males who invaded her territory. She herself barely escaped with her life and lost an eye along with her daughter. Forced to flee the males and ceed her territory over to them, she fled across the Savannah. There she met and became friends with another lioness, Atmaca (Neon Fly's). Together they journey onwards and eventually stumble onto the Bonelands. Worn out by life as a rogue she asked to join them, hoping to start over.

Very much like her Grandmother, Njalo, she is sweet and playful. Always looking on the bright side of life and generally unable to think badly of anyone. Forced to grow up faster than most cubs her age due to the prideal prejudice against her fur, she begins to understand why the rest of the pride are so against her and her sister, she develops a stubbon streak that would otherwise never have appeared, determined to prove that she was just as good as the rest of the Bonelands, and that she deserved to live among them.

Their father was surprised with two bundles of fluff after a brief fling that could have become something more. The mother was killed in a hunting accident so Laini took both girls under his protection. Worried that something could happen to such tiny bodies while he hunted for them, and knowing they still needed milk to survive (he killed herbivor mothers for their milk as much as for their meat), he decided to bring them to live with his own mother in his birth-pride, where they would be safe and more importantly, get the love and care and female guidance they would need from Njalo.

She is the middle sister of three, Kokuzalwa is the eldest and Yimvelo is the youngest. Their mother was killed by an elephant during a hunt. Pale blue eyes lit up as she spotted Cleo, one of her closest friends. Picking up her paw steps she trotted over to the lounging lioness, head lowering to butt lightly against Cleo before twisting round and flopping down, playfully batting at her friend's face until Cleo opened her eyes and yawned widely.
"Senele!" The older female huffed, shooting the socialite a sharp glare though there was no heat in the look. The red-backed female grinned at her grumpy friend, finally settling beside Cloe as the other female stretched and rolled onto her belly, turning to give Senele an expectant look.
"Well?" Cloe finally promoted, having recognised the look on her best friend's face. "What's the latest?"
Senele chuckled, her friend knew her too well. Which she supposed wasn't that hard really. Shaking her head she dived into her latest piece of news. "Ok, so you know Greshia finally bonded with her vulture, well they went on their first trip to the boarder and discovered a brand new den! Apparently a lone hyena female was setting up home there, but Greshia chased her off and that bird of hers was apparently super determined, harried that carrion eater way beyond the boarder! Also Busisa Vessai is now pregnant! But she doesn't know which Umholi is the sire. I suppose we will find out when the litter arrives, but she is so excited! You know how long she has been trying for cubs. Poor thing. I hope everything goes alright for her."
Pausing a moment Senele riffled through her pieces of news for which would most interest Cloe. Her friend liked to be kept up to date with the pride going's on but was not one for frivolous gossip. Hitting upon another tidbit she grinned, nudging her friend knowingly. "There is a new Inselelo too.... " She grinned as Cloe suddenly looked intrigued ears pricking. Senele knew her old friend had been hoping for a littler by Umholi Andhaka, but now that she was pushing on in years she found it harder to get pregnant. And she still harboured the old Bonelands preference for a dark mane. "You remember Nuguv? Well, it's one of his sons.." Pausing to let her friend recall the previous Inselelo, Senele finally dropped the final snippet. "It's Gabedi. He has grown into his mane well."
Grinning at her friend as Cloe tried to conceal her interest, she decided to tease the lioness by yawning and settling her head across her paws. It wasn't long before Cloe swotted at her face with an impatient paw. "And...?!" Cloe demanded. Chuckling she caved and the two lionesses settled down to discussing the new Inselelo and soon the pair fell into a lively debate over the merits of each of the three males.
