I love getting reviews and feedback, but usually it's better for me to write a full first draft before I ask for help. However, I did just post the smallest snippet of my chapter one in the Gaia OS/P and so far I've had good responses. I'm pleased with that. :]

Oooo that is very good. I've never posted something on Gaia before as there seem to be a lot of people out there to spoil the fun of writing.

Things can really be hit and miss on Gaia, but since I'm more comfortable with the Gaia environment than I am most other places I always post things here first. FictionPress never proved fruitful for me, so I just don't bother posting there any more. I rarely get reviews.

I like FictionPress as a URL. If you write wants to read a story you send them a link.

Congrats, Desert!
And I can almost promise you that you'll have more time than you think--it's the hype that makes you feel like you don't have it.

Phade - Haha, I worry too much, that is my problem. I'm packing all the stuff and thinking, I've forgotten something! I still need to order the last half of my books, which is costing me an arm and a leg! Thank you! biggrin
KaNugget - Thank you! We can take some exams in January and find out the results in March and then we take our final ones in May/June and don't find out until mid-August! It is a very stressful time but I am so glad it is over! I just think the dates are a bit silly as people leaving for Uni at the beginning of September have hardly any time to prepare!

So you don't even find out if you get in until Aug? Whoa. And I thought finding out in April was a long wait (I applied in Febuary).

Haha technically, we apply for University September/October. Take the exams January/June and find out August. So we have to wait almost a year!

Another reason for me to love the American school system...kind of...it still sucks, but that's mainly because of how they treat teachers, and college is so gonna put me into debt. xp

Tell me about it! I think leaving school at 16 here in England is way too early. College/sixth form is a bit more hard work but Uni is the large one! Uni is going to put us all in a lot of debt xD

Wait, you hit college at 16? Dude! I SO WANNA MOVE TO BRITAIN!!!
And so what if you're in debt for the rest of your life? It doesn't matter if you make the most of the time you're in school and eventually end up with a job you love.
I'll be close to 100k in debt by the time I graduate. And all because I'm out of state... Blech.
But, I mean, come on. I'm gonna spend the rest of my life digging in the dirt and learning about culture. I'll get to travel. I'll be doing what I love! Who cares if I'm in debt?
And there's always the 2012 apocalypse. If it actually happens, you won't have to worry about paying any of it back. mrgreen
