I got the impression that Midoriko was just being an arse but meh, we could try to tone it down. Though it's really our guild, we're just trying to keep high standards, once we have a good base of members, maybe we can slack.

I don't think it's that bad, all you're doing is learn who they are, learn if they have debating skills and opinions and judge if they have the abilities to keep up with the guild.
Seriously, some of the requests these people send in are pathetic. It's like a half assed sentence but I'm sure some of them can do better. In a way, it's a second chance

They don't conform to our basic rules, they don't get in the guild. I'm a little lack with mine, because I know that I'm basically the only mod, therefore I can ban someone with the click of a button. But really, I don't think we're being too harsh at all. Have some debate skills, use proper spelling and grammar, that's not too much to ask for in my opinion.

Yeah, you're right, I guess I'm a bit too sensitive when it comes to people talking about the people i care about like that(in this case, Midoriko and the IPG). And looki9ng back at it, she was being a bit too harsh and judgemental, and would've caused a lot of unnecessayr trouble (and, in turn, get us shut down again) So it shall be, the rules stand and we shall not bend them for anyone, friend or no. If they can back up that point about why teens should wait to have sex. Saying the boyfriend will/can leave isn't necessarily true, the girlfriend can do it too. It can be a mutual thing too. And it doesn't always end in abortion, look at the number of dumb teens in LI who get pregnant at 14 or 15 or 16 and decide they want to keep their baby. I think that person needs to back up their points a bit better, but they're not too bad I guess. Sentence structure and grammar could be a bit better, but I'm a grammar-nazi, so don't mind me. ninja

Not the best grasp of the english language and he's 13! I don't think someone that young have the mindset to participate in a sexual debate, just because they're younger and at that age, their opinion is very influenced by what they hear, not by what they really think.
I just don't see him fitting in here.
