I'm working on building a dungeon crawler, if anybody wants to sign up for it. I need five to six players. It wont start for a while, I still need to finish all the maps and stuff, but I'll need to know who wants to play to do that.

There's a full group of six up on the first page, if you like. Kyraa's been collecting names.

I can't do Thursday. Either Laeric needs to die, or we need a new day.

I don't think there are any games currently running. Is there any way to fix this, or are we out?

We could start our own game. I haven't enough experience (read: Rei = lvl 1 RPer) to DM or anything though... crying

This all sounds pretty cool, but I've never done anything like it before. Anyone care to explain or have a handy link?

D&D is a Role Playing Game (also a Roll Play Game)

It;s based on the d20 system, which uses a 20-sided die to resolve actions by random chance.

http://www.d20srd.org/

that;s probably the best online reference.

Problem is, Rei, while I'm a fairly advanced RP'er (Possibly up to even level 5 or higher) I am a level 0 DM. I simply am unable to do it. We need a volunteer with the correct skills, and unfortunately, there are very few who can.

I'm actually not adverse to DM'ing... you have to get experience somehow, right? I just feel that the quality of any DMing i would do might be lacking, since i've never DM'ed before.

For just a basic game at low level, i might be able to DM. It'd just be crawl heavy at first until i get the hang of it. I'm actually interested at trying my hand at a Waking Lands style game if we can convince some new players to try D&D.

Ya know... I wouldn't mind trying out DMing, except I have none of the books and barely any grasp on the system. xd Plots and the like I could try. Be good exercise for writing.
