Anjafey looked sheepish for a moment, then caught up with Amira. She listened closely for any signs of Loki or Sigal, but could hear nothing. She sighed, and decided it would be best to just follow Loki's trail.
Loki growled quietly in frustration. Whatever had been stalking Sigal had veered off earlier across a stream onto its rocky bank, and Loki could no longer see footprints or smell the other fox. Hearing no signs of any other foxes, he paced back and forth, waiting for Amira, Anjafey and Rendo to catch up.

Noticing that Anjafey had caught up, Amira focused her attention solely on tracking the others. Catching sight of something in the brush ahead, she slowed suddenly. Approaching cautiously, Amira was relieved to see Loki waiting in the area just ahead of them. Motioning for Rendo to hurry up, Amira sprinted up to Loki's position.
"You can stop wearing a hole in the ground with your pacing. We're here." She stated playfully. Becoming serious again, she added, "Any sign of Sigal or her stalker?"

Loki continued to pace, fretting and thinking. "I haven't senen anything of Sigal yet. Whoever is following her went across the stream to the other shore. I lost footprints in the rocks and smell in the water."

"Hopefully the follower lost her trail or decided that following her wasn't worth it." Amira sighed. "Perhaps we should fan out and scour the area for any sign of Sigal. She might have gotten scared and veered her course or something." Looking up into the sky, Amira was suprised to see rain clouds gathering. That wasnt' good. Rain might wash away some signs of Sigal's path. The young one probably wasn't familiar with the tribe lands yet and could get lost very quickly.
"If we are planning on looking for Sigal's trail we might want to do it soon." Pointing out the gathering storm to Loki and Anjafey, Amira couldn't hide the worry in her eyes and voice. Rain was the last thing that they needed.

Anjafey sighed in frustration. "Alright, there's four of us, but should we go in pairs? If one of us runs into her stalker, it would be better to have someone to help."

"That sounds logical. Who wants to go with who?" She looked between the foxes before her. Her eyes widened in suprise. "Oh no. Where did Rendo head off to?"
She paused and looked around the clearing, but saw no sign of the missing fox. "Did he make a wrong turn again? I thought he was right behind us." She trailed off, unsure. Her apprehension grew. When unknown stalkers were lurking in the tribal lands was not the best time to go wandering off or fall behind.

Anjafey lowered her ears in frustration. Muttering things like 'no common sense' and 'stuck with a fool' under her breath, ahe headed towards the edge of the clearing, looking for flashes of red, yellow or blue. "I guess that answers that question. I'll go look for him. Play nicely you two."

Rendo haveing taken antoher scent that he smelled kept walking. "Loki so great, he just poffy, I go, save Sigal, and be a hero." He said puffing out his chest as he followed Sigal's scent at a fast walk.

Anjafey walked off after Rendo's scent, still muttering to herself. Rendo was not going to be happy when she found him...

Rendo stopped and took a deep breah of the air. It smelled of many scents and he decided to pick each one out. A snake, a foxes, and Sigal. When the breeze kept shifting he had to stay in that place at the base of a tree and try to figure it out.

Amira nucged Loki a little. "I guess we had better head out then. The sooner we find Sigal, the better." She turned and began to look around the nearby area. "Where did you lose Sigal's scent and the scent of the other fox? Maybe that would be a good place to start." Remembering that Loki had mentioned a stream, she tried to recall if there was one nearby. Even if the unknown follower had gone that way, to where had Sigal run?
Above her head, the dark clouds continued to gather. Revealing their promise of ran and a long night.

Forgetting that she had been running away from the other tribe members, Sigal called out, hoping that whatever was behind her was not a mountain lion, or a bear, or some other scary thing that Rendo had mentioned.
"Hello?" she asked, quietly, her voice shaking with fear. Running away really hadn't been such a good idea...She was lost, and maybe she had really managed to get the other tribe members off her tail, too!
Since it seemed like the sound of something following her had stopped, Sigal laid down, and started shuddering, hoping that Daddy would come and find her and rescue her soon.

Loki shook his head at Anjafey and then walked down the path a little. He stopped and sat down, bending down to the rocks. "Right here. Both scents stop, but they weren't here at the same time. Sigal's scent is much fainter."
Anjafey continued storming through the woods, fuming.

During this time high in the trees Odin continued to mess with their minds. Leaving footprints here and there. He grinned up high and watched them. Like pawn his thought. They were so easy to manipulate. He hoped they would pose some kind of challenge. He watched the group with the elder come forward. He got ready just waiting soon he woudl have his fun. He did not care if there was an elder with them. As if an Elder scared him. The only Elder he would even consider respecting was his father.

Loki stopped suddenly, tensing. He flicked his ear, hearing the faint sign of breathing. He debated momentarily, before deciding he needed to keep the stalking fox here; if the fox became bored and went after Rendo and Anjafey while Anjafey was distracted, the pair would be doomed. He pushed Amira forward and stayed where he was He muttered lowly, "Go find the others. Do not come back here; I'll find you later." He turned his head towards the sounds of the other fox, waiting for the confrontation. "Fun's over."
