I know I said this in another "favorite true rune" thread (seriously, we get so many of these), but it's easily the sovereign rune. Pwns all other true runes in existence.

Well it does protect the bearer from all forms of magic, so technically it does razz
My fav is the soul eater though. Ultimate power for ultimate sacrifice. And it's shown the greatest influence in the suikoden games so far. It actually warped the fate and surroundings of several bearers into a tragic one. I think the only one with a heavier influence is probably the rune of change, but we technically haven't even seen it yet so.
A close second is the rune of punishment (Although I liked it better during developement when it was called the rune of sin, so i refer to it as such domokun )

id have to say the dawn rune and true fire rune. the true fire rune is dangerous sure. but theres an item you can get a stone that the troll dragons drop that protects your characters from fire damage. so therefore true fire rune is only harmful to your opponents. the dawn rune heals as well as doing damage. the twilight rune is more destructive though.

I love the Twilight Rune and the True Water/Wind Rune. If anyone would mind telling me, (I'm too lazy to find out myself) What is the stage 4 spell for the True Water? Please tell me it's offensive.. I just got into Chapter 4 of Suiko III for the third time.

Nono, that's the Flowing Rune Stage 4 attack. Mother Ocean. Though.. magical differences between III and the two ahead of it may have changed. eek

No, that's the flowing rune. On the True Water it's just some showy ice attack. I can't remember it's name. I've only used it once.

True Water Rune, because it is my favorite element :p and the previous owner was Wyatt Lightfellow who is the father of Chris Lightfellow who has gone to Alma Kinan which is my favorite village which holds the sealing for the water rune which *gasp for air* and that it also has my favorite suikoden BGM in there!

I thought the 5 elemental rune's attacks were pretty lame. They really got the short end of the stick. All I have to say for the True Water rune is at LEAST it didn't use those STUPID dragons in the final attack. They didn't even bother making unique dragons for each rune, they just repainted them stressed

The dragon rune should be able to create and fuse dragons, that'd be pretty cool. But it can't (yet) and so it is lame.

Soul eater is my personal favorite.
Rune of Punishment annoyed me. The first spell was as strong as the first "Fire" rune attack and it actually hurt you. That made no sense. It should of been stronger.

The bright shield for it is from the suikoden game i played and is awesome
or the dawn it aint bad
or the all mighty rune of begining it owns all rune for it created them all
