Allright! Time to talk. First of all I think you made the right choice on an animal, becase the crane brings up images of a dancer. But as far as an alt gose, perhaps you could do soemthing more refering to the beast part of beauty and the beast? Perhaps a bear, not only becase of its looks, but becase of the fact that they have to put on weight to survive the winter, which would be very difficult for your charecter to do becase of her past and her feelings aginst food.
One other thing I noticed is how childlike she seems, even if 20. Its not a bad thing, just thought Id let you know how brightlly it shows. mrgreen
And dose she get paid to preform? Or dose she do anything else on the side? Thought I should ask that.

Also your second charecter I think needs more links to her change...perhaps she gose to this island looking for a story after a few rumors and then gets the story of her life about becoming a plant. I can think of an alternative animal though, but I would like to see a plant transformation.
