The Iron Magus IlilotIblake The Iron Magus IlilotIblake Aout time peace =] I'm going to supportMay I give my opion(sp?) on this? It sounds like a trap sort of I'm still going to support it =]Of course. All opinions are welcome. What sort of trap do you think they could be planning? Well, I'm not sure how to explain it... But, this: Quote: A – The Hive has accepted an impartial observer, to assure Gaians that there are no secret plans that would cause harm to Gaia or its inhabitants.
B – The various Gaia factions will begin removing their spies from the Hive.
C – The Hive will begin remove its spies from the Gaia factions.
D – The Hive has created a new, public guild, where free exchange of information can take place. This will encourage open communications and foster an environment of trust and cooperation. Seems a bit to fishy.. =| Zurg HIVE wants no spies --> Mother tells 06 plan to rule gaia --> 06 tells plan to HIVE --> HIVE does it --> Surprise attack HIVE was built to do 06 bidding(lol) and all UFO are loyal to Mother, so if 06 tells Mother to do something then it's most likely she'll tell her army And if the HIVE want to conduct peace, then why don't they make there orginal guild public? neutral Doesn't sound like a trap, but thats who I could word it out >.<;;;; It sounded much better in my mind lol But, I still support peace because if we work together we could destory Darknrgy and Mother would like that ^^ I see. Well, though they want no spies, they have let in Designergrl of the believers to be an impartial observer. If they are up to something, she will warn the rest of Gaia. And while she could be expelled from the guild later, that would almost be a SURE sign that they were up to something. Hmm... Why don't we make *our* guild public? I was against making it private from the beginning one of the 14.......

If we sign the treaty, then we are effectively bound from doing anything to defend gaians from the zurg case they decide to break the treaty. There is no provision in there that says we will no longer be bound by the treaty if one party breaks it. So, while I support the treaty, I agree that we should be wary of any double timing by any party involved.

It's not like they could use it against us if we did, if they did it first.

And the publics view of us is not so good thanks to snot nose Cindy, so it wouldn't be to hard for them to turn blame on us. It can happen.

The thing is, I opened it up for a vote, and it was a landslide for making it private. I dunno, I'd make it public too, but most people just aren't comfortable with it.

I think it stems from the fact that MIB have always been seen as secretive. We may have nothing to hide, but there is nothing wrong with trying to stay true to the folklore that surrounds the MIB phenomena.

The Iron Magus The thing is, I opened it up for a vote, and it was a landslide for making it private. I dunno, I'd make it public too, but most people just aren't comfortable with it. It could be because of all the BR GiB was getting those days. Users were seeing the list of agents, and some of them even got flammed. For example, two weeks ago the thread in the Mothership got spammed every couple of days by people who knew nothing about GiB, but hated us because of Cindy's and/or other UFOs comments. I have to admit, a part of me likes the idea of a secret guild xd But it is for the best interests if we stop being a hidden organization =3 That's just my thought, of course.
