A PICNIC PLEASE!!!

Angel was busy making breakfast in the kitchen. Her eyes had wandered off to the window that had faced the backyard (which wasn't at all an ordinary backyard). The healer sighed to herself and wondered why Rein never really did anything with the backyard. It was a whole area owned by the Aishino and nobody else. Angel thought that there were plenty of things that they could do in the backyard. She smiled when she thought of something and says to herself, "I'll ask about it later..."
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Rein was still in bed, not wanting to go outside. The sunlight beamed through her glass window and onto her sleepy face. She groaned as she covered her head with her pillow. She wasn't ready to wake up yet...it was still too "early". The next thing she heard was the annoying alarm clock that kept ringing. "Nooo....few more minutes...." She moaned as she waved her hand. The alarm clock began to grew louder and louder until finally, she decided to give up and open her eyes. The unpleasant light that flashed over her made her groan some more. She slowly rose from her bed and wiped away some drool from the side of her mouth. While yawning, she shut off the annoying alarm. "Waking up is such a pain..." She told herself and scratched the side of her head.

Eva bursted into Rein's room with energy. "Mommy! Mommy!" Eva cried out as she leaped onto Rein's bed. "It's time to eat! It's time to eat!" The royal continued to cry out waving her hands in the air. "Angel cooked really neat stuff! It smells yummy!" The little girl grabbed Rein's hand and started to tug on it, urging her to move faster.

Such energy from the child was quite refreshing in a way. Rein was more awake than ever now. A chuckle escaped her lips as she watched Eva try to pull her out of bed. "Dear, mommy needs to clean up first! You go downstairs and eat first and I'll be in the bathroom!"

Eva nodded and climbed off of Rein's bed. "Okay mommy! I'll tell Angel you are getting ready!" The royal spread her arms out like a plan and quickly rushed off downstairs making buzzing sounds.

Rein merely sighed and shook her head. "That girl is so cheery in the morning..." She climbed out of bed and slowly headed towards her bathroom.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Rein slowly walked down the stairs and made her way into the dining room. The aroma of the freshly cooked scrambled eggs and the sizzling of the bacon filled her nostrils. "Mmmm, the food smells good!" Rein says as she took a seat next to Eva. She sliced part of the scrambled eggs with a knife and then ate it. "This is really good Angel!"

"Isn't it mommy? Angel cooks really good!" Eva happily says as she finished drinking her orange juice. She took a napkin and wiped her mouth clean. "Mmmm, that was so good! I'm stuffed!" She pushed herself away from the table and climbed off the chair.

Angel smiled as she finished eating. "Oh Rein...I have a question I wanted to ask..." The healer paused for a moment and then wondered how she was going to ask this question. "We never do anything in the backyard...I was thinking we should have a picnic! We can even invite Keiko, Haruhi, and Kumiko over. I'll even make the food!"

Rein paused while drinking her orange juice. She set the glass down. "A picnic huh? That sounds good. When is it...?" she asked while popping some bacon into her mouth.

Angel poked her two fingers together. "I was thinking it could be today..." She smiled nervously and hoped that Rein would say yes.

Rein paused and thought for a moment. "Today would be such a short notice...." She frowned as she looked at Angel, who was looking back at her with pleading eyes. With a sigh, she knew there was no way she could say no. "Okay...fine..."

Angel clapped her hands together and beamed. "Awesome! I'll go get everything early!" Without a moment to lose, she rushed herself back into the kitchen.

Rein sighed and shook her head. She quickly finished what was left on her plate and wiped her hands and mouth. Pushing herself away from the table, she took all of the plates and cups and carefully placed them onto a cart. "Angel should be able to push all of that back into the kitchen..." she muttered to herself before making her way into the living room. She quickly plopped herself onto a coach and grabbed the phone. Dialing a number, she soon finds herself chattering with Keiko and later on Kumiko whom both decided to go to the picnic. Rein later hanged up and sighed. "Looks like we have a picnic"

It'll be troublesome....Rein thought to herself

Dreaded Thunderstorms...

It was a week of never ending rain. Eva looked out the large glass window. Her face was pressed against it as her breath began to fog up part of the glass. The girl pulled her face away, her cheeks had become completely cold. However, she still laughed out loud not realizing how truly cold the windows really were.

There a soft chuckle from the distance. Eva's head turned to find that it was only Angel who was watching her. "My my..." Angel began as she slowly walked over to the royal. "Aren't you having so much fun..." There was a hint of sarcasm in her voice. She laughed again to find Eva puff out her cheeks; she was unamused. "It sure has been raining a lot...the cats aren't happy either..."

Eva frowned slightly to hear this. She really wnated to go outside though. But there was no chance Rein would allow her to do this. It felt like prison..."Cats hate water...right...?" Eva asked as she turned her head over to a light pink colored cat. She tilted her head and smiled at the kitten who meowed. "Ami!" Eva called out adressing the kitten. "Come here!"

Ami doesn't hesitate for a minute. She quickly ran to Eva's side and brushed against her leg several times. The funny feeling of soft fur was very weird. However, it had a sensational feeling to it. There was a loud booming sound that made Ami's fur stand up. It crackled and light bursted from the sky. Another crash of loud sound caused the pink kitten to run out.

"My my...It appears to be a thunderstorm..." Angel muttered silently. She had ignored Eva for a few minutes. Finally after a moment later, "Eva...I think you should stay far from the window. It'd be--" Angel paused in the middle of her sentence. The girl who stood by the window had already disappeared. Angel turned her head left and right. "Eva...? Eva dear?! EVA!" She yelled out. No repl, ies except for the crackling sounds of thnder...
*~*~*~*~*
Angel ran into Rein's room. "Rein!" She yelled out as she thrusted the door open. She had ran up the stairs so fast, she was incredibly exhausted. the healer collasped onto the floor, her hands still wrapped onto the doorknob. She needed to catch her breath but she desperately tried to tell Rein the bad news.

Rein stared at Angel as if she was a creature form outerspace. The sudden barging had startled her. She pushed awayself away from the Vanity mirror as she walked over towards Angel's room. "Hey...what's wrong? You look pale. Tell me...what's up?" she asked as she reached down to pull Angel up.

There was no time to be wasting. "Eva...Eva...." Angel began between her breaths.

Rein frowned. "What's wrong with Eva...?"

Angel grabbed onto Rein arms, sweat dripping from the side of her face. "Eva...is....MISSING!" Angel finally cried out.

Rein's eyes widened. Her daughter is MISSING?!? "Is this some kind of lame joke?!" Rein asked hoping it wasn't for real. But as she stared into the eyes of the Healer, she knew it was the truth. There was fright and rage in her eyes. "Search. Help me search damn it! We have to freakin' search! She can't be missing! Who knows what might possibly happen to her!" She pulled away from Angel's grasp and bolted out of the room.

Angel was still on her hands and knees. She was too tierd to help search but she managed to get up. She could hear Rein's desperate cries to search Eva. These cries were also starting to disturb the pets in the house. And soon enough, they too were searching for the missing girl. The cackling and booming sounds of thunder scattered the skies... In the Aishino house, everyone was searching desperately...
*~*~*~*~*
Rein was looking inside Eva's room. She checked under the beds and tables. Reaching for the stuffed plushies that Eva was given, they were tossed aside until Rein could only see the bare empty space the plushies were leaning against. It seemed....hopeless. It seemed truly hopeless indeed. But Rein knew that she couldn't give up. Just as Rein was about to leave, she hard something shake in Eva's closet.

Rein only stared at the door. It was moving by itself. Is there something hiding inside...or was it...HAUNTED?! Rein shook it out of her mind. She slowly walked up towards the doors and began to knock on it. The rattling of the doors stopped for a moment before it continued again. "E-Eva...?" Rein began before she finally flung the doors opened. The fear on Rein's faced slowly faded away as she was relieved to see who was sitting inside.

Eva was curled up in a ball. Her arms hugged her knees and her head was burried in between. Rein noticed that she was shuddering and was frightened to death. Another clash of thunder and Eva gasped as she held to herself even tighter. But the tension around her was slowly fading away. She could feel warmth from somebody else hugging around her. Finally Eva looked up. "M-mommy...?" She whimpered as she sees Rein hugging onto her tight.

Another clash of thunder and Rein's hold onto Eva tightened. "It'll be alright dear..." Rein says as she slowly petted the girls hair. "Mommy is here to protect you..." Rein smiled as she climbed into the closet and sat next to Eva. An arm was wrapped around Eva as the two huddled close together. "Don't worry Eva....the storm will pass soon...I'll wait here with you..." A large smile spread across Rein's face.

Eva clunged tightly onto Rein as she nodded. "Okay mommy...." Wiping away the tears from her eyes, she closed her eyes as the two waited for the dreadful storm to pass.

The two of them together.

Eva is safe. Eva feels very safe...

A while back mommy gave me this journal. I have no idea what to write inside of it so I tend to draw instead. I know I'm really not suppose to do that though. I've seen mommy in her journal scribbling down something every now and then. She even tries to take a peek at my journal sometimes and she won't even let me look at hers!

Mommy is a meany sometimes. Always teasing me and sometimes even embarressing me. Adults. What can a kid possibly do?

It's been pretty quuiet in the hosue lately. A while ago my kitty, Ami, turned into a cat person! She still cats pretty catty and tends to claw at the sofas. Mommy was mad. REALLY mad. Mommy brought something else home. At first it was only and egg and then it HATCHED into another kitty person! Since I'm the oldest....that makes me the big sister right? I guess it's up to me to take resonsibility!

((Note: Obviously there is no way Eva can write so well as a toddler and she isn't a child prodigy either. But it's hard for me to type in a way a toddler would write))

February 17, 1007

Eva has been busy scribbling away in that journal of hers. I wonder what in the world she could possibly be doing. Everytime I ask to take a small peek, she would pull it away from me and tell me "NO!". Sigh....Kids these days. Although I guess I can understand why she does this. I used to do that all the time when I was young.

I guess I can fully understand my parent's headache now. Taking care of children can be quite a handful. I mean, my head is begining to swell slightly. I don't think I'll be able to bear it any longer and Eva isn't even a teenager yet!!

Oh and how could I possibly forget about Laelia and Ami? I've brought two new additions to the family and both of them are cats! Honestly, I prefer dogs but i can't let this information leak out! Ami and Laelia are both so young. It's tough to take care of these three. I'm relieved I have Angel around. The girl is so responsible...it's wonderful to have help around!

It took me a while to notice this but Eva has gotten older. She hasn't gotten to the stage where she matures but she is definately growing up. The bangs of her hair have gotten longer to a point that they framed her face. Not just her bangs, her hair in general has grown too. Eva has also increased slightly in height as well. I bet oneday, she'll grow until she is as tall as me! How frightening!

However, much to her protests about growing up, she refuses to change her taste in outfits. I've always commented on how baby-ish bubble printed clothes are. Eva just seems to absolutely adore them. I might as well have someone make her custom clothes. She has been asking me to get her a blue frilly shirt that says "Eva" on it in bubble letters on the corner as well as a matching blue skirt that reaches her knees. Eva appears seems to have grown into a girly girl...

You hear some giggling outside as you notice the bubble soap that you had left on the table earlier before is now gone. When you walk outside you see a few bubbles heading yourway and hmmm, those giggles.... don't they sound like somebody you know? Well, Eva did say she was going outside to play.

It was a lovely day. Perfect to go outside and rest. It was a perfect day to get some fresh air. Well...it would have been perfect if she wasn't doing dishes. "Damn it. Angel should have told me personally before running off!" Rein growled slightly as she walked into the kitchen.

The dirty dishes were stacked up high resembling a huge mountain. "Damn." Rein looked left and right but couldn't find the soap. "Strange. Where could it be...?" She looked high and even bent down on her knees to see if it fell on the floor.

Rein stepped out of her kitchen. The soap is missing. But who would taked it? A small bubble caught her eye. Then came another. And then another. "Ehhh...?" She then hears the familiar giggle. Eva's giggle. "Perhaps Eva took it..." Rein slightly grumbled as she walked into the backyard. Hopefully, she didn't wander too far.

"Eva~! Where are you Eva...?!" her gaurdian called out.

The bubbles lead a little trail to a section of the backyard, than a little girl ran out of the section looking much like Eva.
"Hi Mommy! I got a little booboo but I'm okay now!" She said happily pointing at her knee as she looked back up.
"After I put on my band-aid I wanted to play outside and so I took the soap, hope it wasn't too much trouble. You can have it back if you want, but yea. Pretty much not too long ago I'm young and the next thing I know I got older!"
She said rather proudly.

Rein was totally astonished to see Eva. Finally she squealed and reached over to hug her. "Eva!! You look so ADORABLE!" She had an urge to show off her child now. It was an urge almost every single mother would have...right?

Eva pushed herself away from the death hugs her gaurdian was giving her. ?Mommy, you'll smush the soap!" She cried out.

Rein sighed as she patted the girl's head. "You've certainly grown up. I'm so happy to see that!" She looked down at the bandaged knee and frowned slightly. "You've been playing rough again...but I'm happy to see that you know how to use the band-aids I've given you..." The frown was replaced with a smile. "You can keep the soap for now. There's plenty in the house...." She stretched her hand out. "Let's go home Eva..."

Eva smiled happily before taking her gaurdian's hand. "Mommy...next time get me some real bubbles okay?!"

"Sure Eva...sure..."

April 1, 2007

I'm amazed at how fast Eva is growing. I can remember it as if it were yesterday...the day I found her. At the rate that Eva is growing, it could have been yesterday! Ehh, but I only joke about that, seriously. I've decided to move Eva into a new room. That way, she has a new room and that old room of hers can be changed an fixed anytime without having to worry about anything.

What I've noticed about Eva is the fact that she just hasn't grown physically, but mentally too. I wonder if she is trying to grow independant. I never knew people would hit that stage until they reach age 11 to 13. It makes me sad to know that she who was once so helpless is starting to do things by herself now. The first time she called out to me when she had just grown into a child, she had apparently fell but when i came to check on her, she wasn't crying. In fact, the reason I had come to check on her was the giggling....and the bar of soap that was missing...

She seriously has an addiction with bubbles. I don't understand why but she really does. It's really cute in my opinion. But here is where "Over-protective parent mode" turns on. I bet some random guy is just going to snatch her away when she gets old enough and take her far away! WELL THAT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!

Geeze. I really sound like MY mom. Scary. Very Scary....

Hello there Popo-chan~

It was an incredibly sunny day today. The weather was very nice. There were many shops open this day. Totally perfect. Ahh....I can totally enjoy this awesome day. W-w-wait...E-Eva....what the heck is she doing?! WAIT! DON'T!!

CRASH! STOMP! CRUSH!

Rein blinked slightly as she watched Eva stomp on her tape recorder. It pained her to see good technology being wasted like that. "Oi....Why did you do that for?!" Rein asked. It was unusual behavior, easpecially for Eva.

"Mommy, we came here for fun. Not for you to talk to this thingy!" Eva scrowled as she pointed at the mess she had made. Arms were folded across her chest as she stared at her mother.

It's a stage....Eva's only going through a Stage... Rein thought to herself. Kids were always demanding things and always want attention right? She had gone through it too. "I feel like I'm in my mother's shoes right now..." She looked back down at Eva and then chuckled nervously. Rubbing the back of her head, she sighed. "Okay. Sorry. We'll just have some fun. Okay?"

Eva smiled happily knowing that she got her way. It was better this way. At least, she thought so. "Mommy, you PROMISED you would buy me something that could blow BUBBLES!" She exclaimed out loud. Her arms were flailing in the air as she cried out.

"Yes...yes....Eva....I did promise you that. But first can we eat? I'm g--"

"NOOOO! MOMMY PROMISED ME BUBBLES!"

"B-b-but--"

"BUBBLES!"

"H-hey! Speaking of bubbles...I know a please where they serce BUBBLE Tea...."

"....BUBBLE TEA?!"

"Y-yeah....!"

"What's that...?"

Rein smiled seeing that Eva had become curious. Great. She can finally have her way now. "You'll find out if we go to the tea shop over there!" Rein extended an arm and pointed to a small store across the street. The building was a light pink colored with signs of delicious cakes and cookies and various cups of tea.

"....OKAY! LET'S GO!" Eva cried out. She grabbed Rein's sleeve and then ran over towards the edge of the sidewalk. Eva was literally bouncing with excitment as she prepared to cross the street and literally drag her mother with her.

"E-EVA! HOLD ON!" Rein cried out as they began to walk across. Nobody was suppose to cross yet, the cars continued to zoom pass by. Suddenly, Rein heard a loud honking sound. A car was zooming at them. "EEK!" She picked up Eva and ran across the street. Huffing and puffing, Rein gently placed Eva back onto the ground as soon as they had reached the side walk.

The car that had nearly hit the two screeched to a halt. A head popped out from the window. "WATCH WHERE YOU ARE GOING DAMMIT!" Huffing as he stuck his head back inside, the car zoomed off again.

Rein was covering Eva's ears when the man had yelled at them. Finally she looked down at Eva and glared. "Eva! I know I haven't taught you how to cross the street but you should know better! You have to listen to what i say!" Rein began to scold. She hated scolding people. But when it's a case like this, what choice did she really have?

Eva looked down at the floor. "Sorry Mommy..." She appoligized and hung her head. She reached for her mother's hand and squeezed it. "It won't happen again. Promise!" She nodded reassuringly.

Knowing that she couldn't be mad at the girl forever, Rein sighed and ruffled Eva's hair. "Fine fine. Come on. The Tea shop is right in front of us. Let's hurry and go!"

Pushing the doors of the store open, the two stepped inside. They were surrounded by sweet smells of pastries. It was a smell that nobody could resist. They walked up to a counter and began to state their order. "Two Strawberry shortcakes, one Fizzy Lemonade, and Strawberry Bubbly Tea!" A tray was set out in front of Rein as she watched the staff began to work on the order. The cakes and the lemonade was already put onto the tray. Rein could have sworn she saw something moving in her lemonade...but it could just be the fizz. Rein ignored it. As soon as the bubble tea was placed on the tray, Rein handed over the money and taken the tray with her. "Eva, you go pick a table!"

Eva giggled as she looked around. There was a table for two by the window and she quickly ran towards it. "Here! Here!" She pointed as she pulled a seat for herself. Plopping herself onto the chair, she made sure that nobody touched the one across from her.

Rein laughed as she set the tray down. "This, my dear, is bubble tea! Strawberry bubble tea to be more specific!" Rein laughed as Eva stared at it in awe. She passed a cake over to Eva before taking the fizzy lemonade as well as the second cake. It didn't take long for her to finish the cake. It wasn't very big but was perfect for a snack.

Eva on the other hand, was a slow eater. But it could be because of the fact she was more concentrated on her drink. "The straw is so BIG!" She exclaimed as she began to drink.

Rein laughed. "That's so you can get the black pearls out!" She explained as she pointed at the round circular objects that was clearly noticable. She was amused as she continued to watch Eva. Finally, she had decided to take her first sip of lemonade. But something had shocked her before she could even start. "AUUUUGH!" Rein cried out.

The cup was pushed far away from her when a panda had popped out. She was resting on the end of it with a towel on her head. She sighed slightly seeing that somebody was trying to drink her bath. "Chuuu...." The panda squeeked.

"MOMMY! SHE'S SO CUTE! I WANT HER!" Eva cried out when she saw the panda. Her eyes were shining at the adorable miniature panda. Eva attempted to take the panda out but she quickly dived deep into the bottom of the cup. "Awww....I think the panda lives in there now..." Eva muttered.

Rein whimpered. She was nearly frightened to death! "A-are you s-sure you want it Eva...?" She asked as she noticed the Panda had popped back up for air.

"Yes mommy! I want Popo-Chan!" Eva replied back as she took a hold of her cup.

"Popo-Chan...?" Rein asked and tilted her head.

"Yes! That's what I named her! Popo-Chan...!" Eva explained happily as she gently rubbed the panda's head.

Rein sighed slightly and smiled. "Okay...but I get some of your bubble tea! Since Popo-Chan is in my lemonade, I have nothing to drink!" She protested.

Eva smiled as she pushed her cup over towards Rein. "It's all your's mommy! I'm happy with Popo-Chan!"

Rein smirked slightly. "What about your bubbles...?"

Eva tilted her head and then giggled. "We can get them at a later time!"

Popo-Chan rested against the edge of the cup and yawned. "Chuuu~"

Rein sighed and nodded. "Ahh welll...."

Eva grinned as she turned the cup so Popo-Chan was facing her. "Hello there, Popo-Chan!"

It seems Eva has been playing around with iPod...again. She's been obsessed with it honestly. I never saw her to be the type to listen to music. Her attention has always been attracted to bubbles really. That's how I usually observed her. I think she has also found an obsession to one of my favorite artists, Utada Hikaru. But who can really blame her?

I assume it started back when I was on the computer downloading a song, "BLUE by Utada Hikaru". It's lovely actually. Upon uploading it onto the iPod, I decided to play the song and had it repeated. I guess Eva overheard and liked...I should say...LOVED the song.

She's been staring at my iPod for quite some time. I know she's giving me hints...Perhaps she wants an iPod of her own too? It's a possibility but I don't want to spoil her. I tend to let her get away with many things. I even got her a mini panda. Well actually....we found the mini panda...or should I say....Popo-Chan. Honestly, I wasn't sure about giving it to her as a pet. But those eyes of Eva's...too hard to say no to....and I have to admit, the Panda was adorable too.

I should think this over. Yeah. When she is older...I will get her one. Most likely!

Unexpected Guest and Unsure Feelings

Tinkering could be heard throughout the dining room. It had been a long while since Rein had seen her brother. The two were having dinner together casually talking and catching up. Eva sat close by to Rein as she shyly looked at her uncle. It was the first time the two had met each other and the first impression wasn't a happy one.

Someone had rung the doorbell and Eva quickly dashed over to answer the door. "COMING~!" She exclaimed happily as she thrusted the door open. The child hadn't expect to see a really tall man stand before her. He had almost reminded her of her mother except he had jet black hair gelled and combed neatly. He was wearing a proffessional looking suit and looked rather handsome. However, the man was wearing a slight frown on his face to see the person who answered the door. Finally he spoke, "Excuse me. But does Rein Aishino live here...?"

Eva's eyes widened upon hearing the man call her mother's name. "YEAH!" She cried out loud before turning her head towards the house. "MOMMY! THERE IS A MAN LOOKING FOR YOU!" The stranger's eyes widened upon hearing Eva shout out the word 'mommy'. He saw a figure running up towards the door and smiled slighlty. She had looked the same since the day he last saw her. Still wearing fake cat ears and tails and dressing up in lolita clothes. Her bi-colored eyes widened upon seeing the person that stood before her. "B-brother...?!" she gasped.

Eva tilted her head to the side and stared at the stranger again. Rein's brother eyed Eva and then back to Rein. He cleared his throat. "S-so...you have a kid...?" His teeth clenched and he looked a little angry. "Who's the father...?" He eyed his sister suspiciously. Upon hearing such nonsense, Rein became flustered. "B-BIG BROTHER!" She called out in protest and blushed. "I'm still too young to do such things!" She crept closer to her brother and whispered something that Eva couldn't hear. "I adopted Eva. So she technically isn't from...well you know..." Rein took a step back and saw how relaxed her brother became. Her frowned did not go away. "Don't be so over protective of me, big brother. I know how to take care of myself. I'm much older now!"

He let out a chuckle and slightly ruffled her hair which made her even more flustered. "Awww, but I like treating you as my little sister!" he teased and recieved a death glare with a slight hint of affection. Eva tilted her head and tugged on her mother's skirt. "Mommy...who is he...?" Rein's eyes widened and realized that Eva was still next to her. "O-oh! Eva, this is Hayate. He is my older brother. I guess you can call him your uncle now!" Rein smiled before inviting her older bother in for dinner. There was a strange feeling inside Eva's stomach. What could it be?

Eva was still silent throughout the conversation that was still being held in the dining room. She was in la la land and had no idea that somebody was calling her name in an attempt to gain her attention. She felt a hand on her shoulder which had finally brought her back to reality. Eva faced her mother who was looking at her with concern.

"Eva, is something the matter? You became awefully silent..." Eva could hear the worry in Rein's voice. But she merely smiled as she shook her head. "No mommy! I'm perfectly fine. See?" Eva forced a smile; something that Rein noticed but decided to save it for later. Pink eyes traveled onto the middle of the dining table. It seemed that Angel had brought out yet another dish while she was deep in thought. She had turned back to her mother, who was busy conversing with her uncle once again. There was a sigh and Eva felt something deep inside her stomach.

"Mommy, I don't feel like eating at the moment. I'm goin to my room..." Eva muttered as she pushed herself away from the table and quickly climbed the stairs before Rein could say anything. She sighed slightly as she jumped into her bed and snuggled into all of her blankets and stuff animals. She winced slighty when she heard somebody climb the stairs. Eva shutted her eyes tightly as she heard someone had enter her room. She felt ehr bed began to dip inwards as another prensence was crawling over her. "Eva..." The voice sounded like Rein.

"I can tell your awake....What's up? You haven't touched dinner..." Rein says as she tried to pull Eva out of bed. Said child was resisting but found out she was battling a already lost war. She sat up straight and sighed as she tried to avoid her mother's eyes. "Well....What's up?" Rein voiced asked but sound more like a comman to answer.

Eva inhaled before sighing as she tried her best to answer the question. "I dunno..." was Eva's intelligent answer. Her eyes wandered and eventually met with Rein's. She felt regret when she realized she wasn't able to look away now. She gulped when she saw her mother raise and brow. "Why are you spending so much time with uncle...?" She asked trying to disguise the jelousy in her voice. Rein's eyes widened slightly and she couldn't help but giggle. "Are you mad because I'm spending so much time with my brother? It's only been a few hours!" Rein says. "No. I'm not mad!" She saw her mother raised a brow again. "So you are jelouse..." Rein says and couldn't help but smirk. Eva glared. "No! That's not it either...!" She pouted and folded her arms across her chest. "Wait...what's jelouse...?"

Rein couldn't help but laugh. She ruffled Eva's hair as she began to explain the meaning of jelousy as best as she could so the child could understand. Eva looked down slighlty embarressed to realize that she was being an attention hog as what her mother had called her. "But it's okay. After all, I do spoil you with all my attention. I guess we both could learn something here...right?" Rein laughed and the both heard somebody step in. The two turned around and saw that Rein's brother had entered. "You're one to talk Reiny-poo" he teased and ruffled Rein's hair. This time, it was Rein's turn to pout.

Hayate turned her attention to look at Eva who looked down and fidgeting with her blanket. A light pink blush appeared on Eva's face. She felt slightly embarresed but felt somebody ruffled her hair again. Eva looked up to realize it was Hayate giving her a really nice smile. "You really are Rein's kid despite the fact you aren't blood related. But that's okay. I wouldn't mind treating you as my neice!" Eva couldn't help but smile at the comment. Suddenly, she felt both of her cheeks being pinched. "Haha. So cute!" Hayate cried when Eva began to whine. Hayate quickly puleld away when his hands were slapped by Rein.

Hayate let out a luagh as he turned to exit the room. "Wait..where are you going?" Rein asked as she got off the bed. "I'm leaving. Duh!" Her brother smiled. "I have business trips to take care off. Tonight happened to be the night I was allowed to visit you!" Hayate explained. "I'm sorry it was unexpected and a little awkwards..." He looked over Rein's shoulder to look at Eva. "I promsie the next time I return, it would be longer and more enjoyable!" Beofr she left, he gave the two a wink.

Rein sighed slightly as she returned to Eva's bed. Eva gave her mother an odd look.

"Reiny-poo huh?"

Rein became flustered and her only intelligent comeback was "Oh be quiet you!"

The only reply was a giggle.

Tiny Bubbles....

Eva jogged over towards one of the doors leading to the backyard. She had wanted to get fresh air since she had been stuck in her house for a long while. It was starting to get a little boring and since Angel and her mother were away restocking thier cabinnets and fridge at the supermarket. She sighed as she saw the indoor swimming pool and wonder what was the use. After all, they rarely use it. She looked up and saw the sun's rays penetrating the skylight. Eva always liked using this room's back door. Despite the room being practically useless unless they had a pool party, she loved the way the room was built. Accoridng to her mom, the one in her grandparents house is larger and even has a hot tub next to the swimming pool as well as much more fancier looking skylights. Not that their skylights weren't fancy or anything. They were. Really. But rich old people afford better stuff.

Eva realized she had been distracted from her destination and quickly stepped outside. She was holding her shoes, one is each hand as she stepped on the grass with her socks; she wasn't allowed to wear shoes in the house. The ticklish feeling penetrated the cotten and Eva couldn't help but giggle. Putting on her shoes and making sure they would not slip off, she ran over towards the stream that was nearby.

She dug into her pocket and pulled out some watermelon flavoured bubblegum and popped a peice into her mouth. Eva made sure not to put in too much like last time. Her jaw was cramping when she tried to chew five peices at once and was barely even able to blow a single bubble. Stretching the gum with her tongue, she began to inhale and then exhale to blow a large bubble. Her arms covered the sides of the bubble while her hands protected the front. Her mother always liked to pop the bubble to make Eva more fustrated. She wasn't about to let anybody ruin her bubble blowing!

The stream running across seemed never ending, and it always made Eva wonder where it would go. She was forbidden to venture too far but she didn't mind at all. The sound it makes was calming and helps her relax. Eva moved her arms as she paid attention to her bubble blowing. She had almost popped the bubble and would cause herself to be in a sticky situation. Her hands were now a foot apart from each other. Suddenly, she saw something pink appear. It was a bubble. A very small one but it was a pink bubble. It had appeared out of nowhere. Was it her bubblegum?

Eva blinked and the bubble was gone and her bubblegum bubble had popped. Fustrated, she let out a groan. "Awwww...." She moaned as she tucked the gum back into her mouth and began chewing again. She had realized that her bubblegum was blue but the bubble that appeared between her hands was pink. What in the word could that mean?

"I'm going to try again..." She muttered in between chews as she brought her hands a foot apart again. She didn't chew this time nor blow any bubbles. The pink bubble had appeared again! She didn't want to blink while it was still here for fear that the bubble would dissapear again! Infact, without even blinking, the bubble had popped!

"NOOOOOO!!!" Eva cried out in fustration as she tried again. She hadn't realized she was getting tierd but she wanted the bubble to be bigger and stay longer. "Think bigger, think bigger..." She had constantly recited as if it were her mantra. Once again, it appeared for one millimeter second longer than the last. It was still the same size but it stayed a little longer none the less. It was satisfying.

Beads of sweat poured down and she was pantring furiously after several tries later. It was exhausting but no matter how many times she called out her mantra, the bubble refused to get any bigger. It stayed longer...but not bigger. Eva fell on all fours. She fisted a handful of grass as she gasped. "I'm...too tierd...." Eva finally says before attempting to get up. She'll give up for the day and try again next time. She was exhausetd and she wanted food....

Upon taking off her shoes and entering the house, Eva sighed as she spat out her gum into a nearby trashcan. It had lost its flavour a long time ago. She dragged herself over towards the living room and flopped onto the couch. Closing her eyes, she heard the door open.

"Eva, we're home!" a voice called out. Eva could tell it belonged to her mother. She didn't move a muscle. She was exhasuted. In her head, she was trying to decide what she should do. Tell her mom about her discovery or keep it a secret? Ehh...for now...just for now, she'll keep it to herself.

'Mommy will be very surprised...' Eva thought before drifting to sleep.
