Huzzah for NaNo!
Anywho, my name is Mike, I'm 18, and live in Newfoundland, Canada. This is my first NANo, and I'm really hoping to finish, as many people who I've told my idea to say they like it. I'm going for a sci-fi, I guess, where Atlantis has resurfaced and they're still alive and quite advanced. Anyways, long story short, they decide to *ahem* 'cleanse' our self-damaging race. Can't wait ^^

Well, I just opened the PM inviting me here. whee
I'm Write-Bot, but you can call me Rachel if you want. Or any silly nickname you can think of. This will be my first NaNo as well, and I may be slightly cramped for time, saying I have a martial art belt test and a honor band to go to for a weekend. I'm 13, from Alabama, and like writing poetry. This 50,000 words will be literary fiction, with a touch of humor.
I'm Dr. Arsenic on the NaNoWriMo website, so if you ever see me there, you'll somewhat knwo what the hell I'm doing. biggrin

Heyla! I'm Katie-Kat, I'm eighteen years old, and this'll be my fifth NaNo. I've never finished before, but I have high hopes for this year. Problem is, I can't decide what to write about. sweatdrop My NaNo name is Squeaky_Kitty, same as my Gaia mule, since that was one of my nicknames freshman year when I started doing NaNo. So feel free to hunt me down!

Yo. The name's GhostlyMaiden, here and on NaNo. This is my first year in which I'll be participating. Personally, I have a lot of plot bunnies and a fickle writing hand. The longest I've ever worked on a novel was about 12 pages long, so I'm hoping NaNo will help me direct my energies where I need 'em to go.

Awesome! First a thread, and now a guild! *Dances with excitement.*
Anyway, I go by the names of Fire and Foxx both, so whichever you'd like, go ahead and use! They're practically interchangable. *Laughs* This is my first year doing NaNoWriMo, and I'm uber excited! All the more excited because I'm challenging myself and I'll try to write a realistic novel about an original character of my own that I have fallen in love with. Let's see how that works out then, huh? *Chuckles*
Anyway, I'm 17 and I live in Hoboken, NJ! Hopefully I'll be attending some of the little get-togethers we'll be having throughout November and I'll get to meet some more NaNo writers! I wish the best to you all! November's right around the corner! heart

Hullo, I'm X_nedra / sors_tordu on Nano / Ali IRL. I'm 16, from NL Canada. First year of Nanowrimo but I'm really looking forward to it. My idea for this year is a fantasy adventure about a young girl who is sacrificed by her tribe but survives. She comes to discover that the world around her is much more advanced than she ever had imagined (think 19th century england) and that her peaceful village is actually known to be barbaic savages, worshiping a false god. She is adopted by a woman from the nearst city and raised into that world, and once she reaches a more mature age, she finds out that the high leaders of her old village have been in conspiricy with other religious leaders of the surrounding kindoms to... to... [insert evil doers' motivation here]
I haven't worked out all the kinks yet. sweatdrop

My name is private, but people call me Kitty. I live in the New Mexican capital and I'm the only NaNo writer I know. I just started but the most I can normally do is 1000 words a day, and NaNo is my high school graduation project. I'm hoping I can finally write.

Heyas. My actual name is Jennifer, but Seregwen is the name of my first actual character. I have been working on her for 7 years.
Anyways, I'm 22, mother of one and really looking forward to NaNo this year. I have been meaning to join for a while now, and yet never got around to it.
As for a story plot...I am completly lost...

Hello everyone, I’m Kylie, but on the NaNo boards I go by Fin. I’m currently in grade 12 with a fair bit of math homework everyday so this will be a challenge to just plan time to write :p This if my first year participating so I’m really looking forward to it.
Hopefully Gaia won’t be too distracting throughout November rolleyes

I'm Ren, or Rennire (on both Gaia and Nano) I'm a second year university student (Pysc and Classical studies... an odd combination I know...) This is my second year doing Nano. Last year I crashed around the 30k mark but I had tonnes of fun and I have high hopes for this year.

I'm Allegro (NaNo name is Mr Noon-and-Midnight, an obscure reference to am obscure piece of classical music, 'cos I like random obscure references). This is my first year doing NaNo. I'm in my senior year of high school.
I do independent study and am currently swamped with work as I try to complete classes at double speed so that I can graduate early; I think I'll be able to squeeze in NaNo writing into my schedule if I try hard enough.
My novel's not very linear in construction. I'm realistic about my abilities to do a linear plot for NaNo (I wouldn't be able to resist going back and editing the darned thing) and so have decided to go easy on myself and allow myself room for improvisation. I guess the readability of the novel will come down to how good of a writer I am and whether you like my stuff.
In other words, I'm going to lock it up in a secret place after NaNo and show it to no one. I'd hate for everyone to find out just where my writing skills truly lie. redface
