At least KOS-MOS still has a body. While chaos is just a consciousness floating out in space. The database hints he may have another form in the future, but that's all he is right now. Besides, chaos tells KOS-MOS they'll both exist again, so it isn't like they'll just be floating eternally. The part after the credits where they reach Lost Jerusalem proves that.

One would think that it's pretty safe to say that chaos, Nephilim, and Abel are 100% intact and chillin' on Earth.

Here's my hypothesis about KOS-MOS. I was kinda thinking that although she might not ever get repaired, she'd at least finally find and fall to Earth...before or during the Zeboim era in Xenogears, and Kim (aka Abel aka Fei) would cultivate the nanomachines in her to make Emeralda. e_e
Kinda far-fetched but hey, tis possible. >_>
And another far-fetched thought. Jin died but he's like "We'll meet again." So he's reborn as Hyuga/Citan and stumbles upon Shion's descendant, Yui, and so on. Yeah, they got married and everything, but while it isn't blood that would keep Shion and Jin together anymore, it's kindred spiritness, instead. Sibling spirits. Yah? Whatever. I just had to get that out. <_<;
EDIT: As for chaos, I'm still trying to figure out who or what he would've been in Xenogears, besides that from which the Anima relics spring. e_e;

Anyhow, aside from that.
Ending... sucked... too many people are alive. I didn't cry about anything, though... 'cept Wilhelm's story {past-being} not being resolved crying NO FAIR!
Yea... i wish Shion had died also... i was so angry... i actually yelled that at some point.
Anyhow, i'm going to watch Wilhelm and his AWSOME-ness again soon. ^.^ that's why he wastes no energy... he just raises his hands... and... BOOM!
Though, i am happy with HOW the characters died and the fact that they'll probably all die at some point... yeah... i'll deal with that until they come to their senses and make another one. for now, though- to start a new game is what i will be doing... with my buddie ACTION REPLAY! whoo...
