I like the Japanese voices better. In the English version, Naruto has a chronic sore throat, Kakashi sounds high (not that I don't think he is), Chouji sounds like Stitch, no one can say "Neji" right, Lee sounds like that one dude from Star Trek who pauses every 3 seconds for dramatic effect, the girls sound exactly the same, and anything remotely Japanese is given a stupid dub name ("believe it" and "me and my shadow"? Come on!) The only semi-good dub was Jiraiya (though, putting the guy who did Chef on South Park would've been AWESOME) but no one cares about him.

Well, i think that the Japanese is WAy better than the English, because the english always makes Naruto say 'Believe It' and sometimes, it gets a bit annoying.

I must say the subtitles are nicer...You get better translation and *cough* more swearing. :3 Plus, it all just seems....Well put-together. Yeah. And their mouths don't keep moving after they're done talking.

I like both versions, though the girl who does Naruto's voice in the Japanese version has a very masculine voice, which fits Naru perfectly. And Gaara's voice sounds almost the same in the Japanese and the English versions.

I prefer Japanese. Why?
-Japanese VAs are alot more expressive and fit the characters more. -Dattebayo! > Believe it! -Naruto's voice is more loveable. -Hinata's voice is cuter. -Jiraiys's voice is....just better. >> -More violence & blood. >3
I kinda like the english voices too....The Naruto American video games are making me get use to their english voices. ^^

I love watching anime on japanese. That's because Japanses is the coolest language of all! It sounds... more natural that way.

It's hard to say. I like the convenience of focusing on what people are doing and the generally the characters themselves rather than having to watch the bottom of the page because I'm so focused on subtitles.
On the other hand, I sometimes find it hard to stomach Naruto's English voice. A lot of the voice acting is bad actually. The "Believe it!" and "CHA!" stuff is terrible.
All and all, I'd rather read subtitles. So I'd say the Japanese with English subs. biggrin
