I prefer japanese myself, because the voices are much more expressive and when they voice an emotional part, they don't go OVERboard like the english actors. What's your opinion?

I do sort of prefer watching it subbed, though I feel that Viz did a pretty good job choosing voice actors, "Believe it" aside. It's not that it's more expressive in Japanese, but you get the original tone of the actor's voices, which can be pretty cool or funny at certain times.

I prefer Japanese, because I believe the voices just fit their personalities more. But I do appreciate the work that was put into the English. Some of the voices were casted very well. (Naruto's has it's good and bad points, Shino sounds kinda nerdy xd ) And they did a pretty good job with the editing! (It got better.)
I just prefer the Japanese because it's what I'm used to. Naruto's voice is adorable, and I LOVE the radio show. XD

Lee and Shino are the best English voices so far, I'd say, though they are significantly different than their Japanese counterparts.
Why? Because they're Daisuke/Davis and Ken from Digimon Season Two. mrgreen

Well, I DO like Lee's voice. XD Actually, I think Shino's changed at some point. I saw the part with the chuunin exams in English (the written part), and his voice was deeper. It was a lot like his Japanese voice. But it changed recently. Don't know what happened, there. XD

They switched voice actors for some reason; I looked it up on Wikipedia. From Episode 34 on, it's his higher voice. Actually, it makes him sound really creepy, which fits his image perfectly. It is a little disconcerting after hearing him baritone his way through his fight with Kankuro in Japanese, but I think it fits him for the first-time English viewer.

i prefer the japanese version because the voices in the english one sounds mad weird. and plus they dont block out anything

as for me, i don't like the english version...i think that the original voices that the artist chose fit the best!!! heart heart besides, it's the languags i'm used to sweatdrop also, you can learn japanese phrases just by watching anime in japanese and reading the subtitles!! hehe whee

I'm so used to the Japanese voices, that's it's going to be obvious that I prefer them. I think they're perfectly cast. Character like Oorochimaru and Shikamaru are just flawless in the sense that the voice fits the personality.
I don't mine Naruto's voice in English though. Or some of the others. Gaara's English voice is wicked. The only thing that nips at me however is when the dub says Japanese words, they sound incorrect, for example, the term "kunoichi", which I first heard Sakura pronouce "ka_noi_chi" instead of "ku_no_eee_che". Yes, I'm fussy. >.>

I can take Naruto's english voice, but it's not my favorite. The Japanese is much more cuter. XD I don't really care if they pronounce stuff a little bit off, but too much kinda takes you out of it.
