ratherThaNheather Hey you never know it could happen. They are so different thats what draws some people togeather. Lightning and water dont mix but that does not mean that the lightning never hits the water. Ok im kinda sounding crazy LOL! blaugh I still have mixed fealings about this one. But the way Sasuke has been acting to Sakura trying to kill her and all. eek That mybe pushing her away. Anythings possible at that point heck she my go for Naruto. 3nodding I think that Sakura losing romantic interest in Sasuke would be good symbolism to show that she has grown up. Though she ending up with Naruto would show that Naruto has not grown up. I have a theory that Sai will die at towards the end of the manga, so that's why I avoid pairing him up. And for some reason, KakaSaku gives me the creeps.
Sakura with the guys in her team = no for me.
And GaaSaku is the only Gaara pairing that makes sense to a degree, and even if you have to squint, you can find hints and coincidences that kinda don't make much sense unless you're thinking 'GaaSaku'.
I'm not saying GaaSaku is cannon, but for me it makes more sense than pairing Sakura up with any of the guys in her team.

I would SO die happily if that were too happen but unfortunately I don't think that's the case.
I'll explain why this is a good couple:
EDIT: BTW, I editted this a bit and added it to the GaaSaku guild.
1. Out of all the Gaara pairings, this one is the only one that's plausible.
2. A relationship with the Kazekage could be good symbolism that Sakura has become a powerful kunoichi. She deserves nothing less! Remember what Yashamaru said about healing wounds medic-nins could not? Well, what if Sakura, a medic-nin, could? More power symbolism and irony, oh yais, good plot stuff.
3. All the times Saku-chan has demonstrated her power in the first place had something to do with the Sand Sibs! Hmmm. -pokes at the thought- Maybe there's more to come. biggrin
4. Because maingirl/antihero(or main chara's rival/parallel) pairings are the best. Opposites attract, and this ain't for SasuSaku. They could learn a lot from eachother.
5. I would love to see the faces on Gaara's rabid fangirls if this became cannon. twisted
6. After being around Sasuke and Naruto so much, being romantically involved with Gaara would imply that she understands the concept of being lonely, or has at least matured.
7. Its a good Het/alternative to NaruGaa, which speaking of...
8. Why not show that Gaara is grateful towards Naruto by pairing him up with Naruto's best female friend? It shows that Naruto was part of his life.
9. It would do Sakura good in a way by pairing her up with someone that resembles both her favorite two people to show that she loves them both equally. Remember why I dislike teammate pairings? Because they exclude one member.
And all that fun stuff, I've always been good at literary analysis. 3nodding

wow. that sums it up! That's it, I love GaaSaku now that i understand it. I still like LeeSaku better, but if that doesn't happen then this one should.
