 OMGWHY GaaSaku.
No matter how insane the pairing, people ship their well, ships, for good reason. Why GaaSaku you ask? I mean, aside from their eye color, Gaara and Sakura are nothing like each other, right?
Well, yes. Sakura and Gaara are both very different individuals. Gaara comes from the Suna (Desert) and Sakura from Konoha (the Leaf Village). They don't truly encounter one another until Gaara tries to strike down an injured Sasuke and Sakura intentionally intervenes. Yes, yes, she is then thrown roughly into a tree and held there by a vicious Gaara. But it is the significance of what follows that always catches my interest. Sakura act reminds Gaara of an important event once in his life. And it is this way that he begins to break down. (Naruto also helps though.)
This is my canon interest as it is presented.
You're still crazy. How the hell would this work? Do you see me saying "GAASAKU IS CANON BEEYATCHES!" ? Lawlno. I'm merely advocating an interest in this pairing. An alternative if you will. 3nodding I like the idea of pairing the unstable Gaara with Sakura. It's twisted, it's bizarre, but hey, I love strange. Most importantly, GaaSaku can be figuratively lethal and sadistic.
This is the certain element of attraction that draws me to this pair.

I'm quite neutral about that pairing, but I also like it in a way. Looks rather cute. >< My OTP is SasuSaku, the SaiSaku, then KakaSaku But I wouldn't mind for a fourth option to be GaaSaku... ninja

Anything is better than SasuSaku.
But I actually like GaaSaku. I can't really say why, of course, because I have yet to figure out why I like the idea of those two together. ( Granted, nowhere near as much as KakaSaku, but still, you get the point )
It's a good pairing, and there could be the potential for a lot of chemistry.

GaaSaku FTW! rofl I love this pairing so much. An awesome author on fanfiction.net got me hooked with it! (Along with NejiSaku...). They make a very funny, twisted pairing if you ask me.

Gaakura is a guilty pleasure of mine. So many pretty fanarts (like with Kakura, except I actually like it), and even a few good fics. There's an interesting dynamic hiding in there somewhere and I love it muchly 3nodding
