Delano smiled and a tinge of purple shaded his cheeks. He spoke softly as he walked, "Well all unicorns can heal, just some choose not to heal others while some cause more damage then healing or good. Its sad really. We are supposed to be a noble, gentle species. Supposed to be protectors. some have lost their way." He reached the tree and turned to face Aruna. What a stunning sight she was in the moonlight, as it bathed off her brown coat making it shimmer a goldeny color. For a moment he just watched ehr as she moved so gracefully towards him.

 Delano's blush only made him all the more cute... well, handsome. Her own face was slightly tinged with red. "That's too bad that some unicorns would wish to cause harm. But perhaps they have reasons for losing their way." She smiled up at him when he turned to face her once they reached the tree. She flicked her tail casually, but it was a sign of her nervousness. She was usually a sensible, calm mare, rarely showing expression and very difficult to get along with. Lately, she had realized how much she had changed... she found she got along with many others quite easily. As the moonlight glanced off Delano's strong form, her eyes were bedazzled by his nobleness, and how he always made her feel safe, even when she had first met him, she had felt safe. "Delano..." she began hesitantly. "Um..." She was struck suddenly. How was she to say the three words that she desperately needed to? Somehow, with Rahu, it had been an urgent need, and she had been in a fight with him at the time. Sort of. With Delano, it was something different altogether.

Delano moved forward as she spoke softly. "SAdly some do, while others just enjoy evil more then they do the purenes of good. It is sometimes easy to make a unicorn stray. It is evilness's delight to take a creature of purity and change it for the use of evil." He noticed she was blushing some and flicking her tail now and then. His own tail swished back and forth as he tried to still his pounding heart. And it seemed like she was in awe about something. He merely watched her as she tried to speak. He wanted to tell her how he was feeling, but it would be rude to interrupt a lady. "Go ahead. There is something you wish to say? I have something to tell you as well, but I will do so after you tell me what it is you desire to say." He moved in closer and nuzzled her cheek, before allowing his head to rest atop of hers so she was snuggled under his chin.

"I..." She stumbled a bit, ears moving back in forth slowly in nervousness. Was she to be the one to confess first? Plucking up all of her courage (strange, she hadn't had to have this much courage before when she had been fighting with Rahu... truly strange), she blurted out with a cherry red face, "De-Delano, I... I'm in love with you!" It wasn't really loud, but to her ears, it had sounded like a shout. Her voice was still soft, however, and her heart pounded so hard against her chest, almost like she had been running so hard and had yet to stop to catch her breath. Her heart had now moved up into her throat, and now she found she couldn't speak, for the mere seconds of waiting for Delano's answer felt like eternity. His eyes had caught hers, and now she was stuck, staring into his ruby orbs, with baited breath. She felt more relaxed than before, however, so she was mostly dying to know her rescuer's answer.

Delano listened still keeping her snugged under his chin for support and comfort. Its really what a stallion should do with a mare he was in love with...take care of her every need. He could feel her ears move under him as she stuttered. The vibrations of her soft voice tingled down his neck. And then he pulled back, wide-eyed and heart nearly jumping from his chest. Had he just heard what he thought he had? It took him a moment to process it since she has spit it out so fast. He thought for a moment,was this real? Surely it wasn't a dream. He had intended to confess his love for her...and here she was confessing to him!!! Suddenly a very large grin spread wide across his face, and his eyes shone with happiness. He could see her waiting nervously and he moved he head forward to nuzzle her tenderly. He let his muzzle find her ear and softly he whispered his confession. "Well my dear Aruna, that is very well and makes my heart leap for joy, for what I had to tell you was one in the same as the words you have just spoken. I've fallen in love with a golden angel. "

She gasped and stared at him. At first, she swore she was dreaming. Really. But no. She could feel his nuzzle, his warmth... Her face was redder than ever. She felt happy. ...Satisfied. And yet, at the same time, excited. She was thrilled beyond belief. And... the pounding of her heart was all the more faster. "My knight... you do not know just how happy that makes me," she whispered, still stunned. But happily stunned. She nuzzled him softly, then, the warmth of Delano seeping throughout her entired body.

Delano felt her closeness and listened to her soft voice as it sang to him. Never had he been this happy...never had he thought in a million years he would find....love. The angels in heaven had smiled on him and especially his earthly golden angel, Aruna....Now he could call her...his own...his love. He moved in closer to snuggle with her as they stood in the moonlight, his head now draped over her hers as he had been before, softly nuzzling her mane, a very mystical scene as their 2 bodies glowed brightly in the night. "Will you stay with me? Will you let me call you my own? my mate? my very own magical golden angel?" he asked softly, wanting to be sure this was what she wanted as well.

Love could make even the most sensible of us do the craziest things... Aruna mused, a passing thought as the last of Rahu's troubling presense left her. She was still partially in love with the dark stallion, but now she gave her heart fully to Delano. She found that she understood how her parents once felt, and still felt. She was so happy. She found she was ready to even spend the rest of her life with Delano. Were her trials over? Her tests finished? Perhaps... At his words, her eyes lit up. "Yes... Yes, I will stay with you... Yes!" She answered, breathless. Oh, how she wanted it. To be free of all the other trouble, and just dedicate herself to one stallion. One day, she would find Rahu again, and they could talk of past times... they were still friends after all, and she had forgiven him. Locking away her thoughts about her first love, and she nuzzled Delano. "Yes to all your questions, my love... yes."

Delano smiled as she spoke, accepting his proposal. His thoughts travelled to the joys they'd experience in their lives together...even to the fact they would some day have foals...and then he blushed as thoughts entered his mind about how foals came to be. He was thankful she couldn;t see his face at that moment as his head was still draped over her neck, nuzzling into her soft, silken mane. Another thought struck him. He had no family to speak of for her to meet..but..what about hers? He should meet them after all...especially now that they were mated. He spoke softly, almost a whisper, "Perhaps tomorrow, we should go find your family Aruna. For I would like to meet them, and thank them for having a wonderful angel for a daughter who is now the love of my life. "
