Astia snorted, and paced around the pond. Gawd, so boorred. Around and around. What to do? She could find Ru.. But no. She had a better idea. She was going to find theis.. Delano, and find out his intentions with Ru. She was not going to have her friend hurt again! Yes. But where to find him? The mare paused and reveiwed the info she had on him. He was a unicorn, and was red with flowing black hair. How hard would that be to find?
Hard. After two hours of searching, Tia gave up, lyeing down for a moment, cooling off in the night air. Where was he!? She sighed, and rested, looking up at the emerging stars.

Night approached as Delano still waited for Aruna under the tree. He knew the talk would be long between them, but still his heart longed for her to be near. He sighed and stood up a moment to stretch his legs, his tall figure standing out in the moonlight. It bathed on his Blood red coat, his white markings almost seemed to glow. A cool breeze flowed and his silken mane whipped behind him softly like a black flame. He wished he had someone to tlak to, just to pass the time. But still he would not move from this spot, this small area. To do so would only dishonor his promise to Aruna, his golden angel. He longed to see her golden coat in the moonlight. He stared up at the stars and the moon, many thoughts running through his head. "Oh my lady moon! please give me a sign.....that my love is not for nothing...I wonder..does she share this love in her heart?" His head dropped a moment to his chest, eyes closed. All he could do now was trust she would return as she promised. "Keepher safe lady moon" he spoke softly, barely above a whisper.

Ahh. So quiet.. peaceful.. Wha? Astia's head jerked up. Had she been sleeping? She must have. The mare shook her head, shaking sleep from her head. What had been that noise?She stood up quietly, musing how her coat looked just Like Aruna'a in this light. The mare followed the voice, finally wondering over to a tree. Tia couldn't see very well, but she could make out a stallions sillohoute, looking up at the moon, and whispering something. "Hello..?" She called out, softly.

Delano's head shot up, startled to hear a voice....He did hear a voice? He turned his head looking around for the source of it. "Aruna? Have you returned my golden angel?" He hoped it would be her. He finally located a mare's sillohoute, and a goldeny color illuminated it. He ran forward, thinking fir sure it must be she. "Aruna? Please answer me. I have so much I want to say to you. " A smile crossed his face but was soon replaced with surprise when he came face to face with another golden mare...but this one was more of a goldenrod color. "Oh I'm sorry ma'am. I thought you were someone else" He dropped his head, a sad expression covering his face as he slowly walked back to the spot he promised Aruna he would be.

Astia leapt back, startled, as the stallion, a unicorn, charged towards her, shouting. "Wait.. wait. She trotted up to him. Did you say Aruna?" A bit closer now, she could make out he was red. A Red unicorn! "Delano..?" She asked, softly. He seemed quite polite. Much better then Rahu. But she had to check him out, just to make sure. "Er, no problem." She grinned, and trotted over to the large tree he had been sitting at before.

Delano reached the tree and then heard the mare calling wait to him and stopped to address her, after all he could not be rude or impolite. When she said Aruna, and then called him by name....swiftly he turned to meet this mare and speak to her face to face. "Yes I did say Aruna...and Yes I am Delano" He bowed slightly, ever so gracefully. She was now right in front of him. "I hope this evening finds you well. And what may I ask is your name? You must be a friend of Aruna's to know me on sight." The thought made him smile a bit. So Aruna had spoken of him to a friend. This indeed was a good sign. thank you lady moon.

She had found him! "Thank goodness!" She cried. "I've been looking for you for hours!" The golden mare blushed as he bowed. "No need for that.." Astia murmured, still a bright red. "Yup, Aruna's friend." She added quickly, "Aruna's best friend." Though Tia was not sure if she was Ru's best friend, she hoped so. "She talked about you a little." Her smile dulled. No more beating around the bush. "What are your intentions? And I swear. If you hurt her, at all! I will hunt you down." She leered.

Delano blinked. "looking for me for hours??" He was fairly confused by that...perhaps it was Aruna....Was she safe? "Oh Best friend. Then it is an honor and a pleasure to meet you Lady Astia." He smiled lightly at her. He listened and his head tilted curiously as Astia told him Aruna had talked about him. But the smile quickly faded when Astia blurted out that last ew sentences. "Intentions? Hurt her? Oh I would never harm her like that brute Rahu did....She nearly died today" His head dropped a bit and he met Astia's emerald orbs. "My intentions are clear Astia. I intend to confess my love for her when she returns from her talk with Rahu. I can only hope she returns that love. " His eyes opened to her, not like he had with aruna but enough for her to clearly read them. They shone like crimson gems in the pale light.

"Yes, for a few hours." Astia said, a bit flustered. "Heh, thankyou." The mare attempted to bow, but onlct succedded in an awkward position. She quickly pulled herself up, looking straight into his eyes. "Nearly DIED?!" Tia gasped, shocked. "What happened? Fight?!" She looked confused. "She.. seemed okay.." The mare blinked as the unicorn looked into her eyes. She had to admit, his red eyes reminded her much of Rahu's. The mare shuddered. "You intend to..?" Tia smiled. "She loves you, Delano. She loves you alot." The golden mare blushed. He seemed to be telling the truth.. there were no lies in his pale red eyes.

Delano sighed for a moment. "I'm not exactly sure. I found her bleeding to death and as I was healing her Rahu showed up. Apparantly he injured her and left her there saying she refused his help even though he caused the near fatal injury." He stopped a moment, silently trying to offer her a reassuring look. "She is ok now. I healed the wound but...had I not come when I did we would have lost her to death. I don;t think I could bare to lose her so soon after just finding her" He blushed at Astia's comments...so Aruna had confessed her love to her friend. The thought made his heart skip a beat and a smile came to his face as he blushed a deep purple. "Rahu and I fought as well....I almost killed him. I didn't mean to strike a fatal blow...I just wanted to teach him a lesson in about his mistreatment of Aruna."

Astia's mouth was open in shock. She almost felt like crying, or screaming. "B-bleeding to death?" Her eyes were full of hate. "I suppose I couldn't expect much better then Him." She snorted with distaste. She closed her eyes, trying to take it all in. God, her 'love life' compared to Ru's.. was great.. She murmured the thought outloud, quietly. "I thought I had it bad.." The mare smiled softly as she watched him blush. "You almost.. killed him? Heh, don't worry about it. He deserved it." She nodded slowly.

Delano eyes widened a bit. "But I cannot kill unless it is absolutely necessary. There is no honor in killing needlessly. I healed him, after the pierce to heart with my horn. I only meant to nick his shoulders but he stumbled. It was accidental." He was greatly confused. He loved Aruna and wanted to fight for her honor and yet a part of him believed somewhere in that cruel body Rahu still had a heart, still was capable of being saved and brought around. "Aruna is healed as well but both will bare scars from these battles. I can only heal wounds not scars" His confusion and concern shone brightly in his eyes but he had caught her little murmuring. "You thought you had it bad? May I ask what has happened?" He pawed the ground, eyes glancing in the direction Aruna and Rahu had gone earlier in the day

"I know.. But he needs.. " She shook her head. "I don't know. He's okay, soometimes, but most of the time.." She shook her head again. Tia looked at Del. "Are you okay?" The mare asked, quietly. "Scars..." She nodded, slowly. "Err..uh.." Tia stumbled through her words. "Uh.. Just.. with.. uh.. her brother.." Her cheeks flushed a hot red, and she looked down to the ground.

Delano added his thoughts. "He needs to be put in his place and learn how to behave." He met her gaze again, trying to read her eyes. "Her brother? hmm with how flush you are I would almost say it was love issues. But I will not pry if you wish not to speak of it Astia. " She nudged her softly as a friend. "But if you need an ear, I am here." His thoughts returned to Aruna for a moment. He worried so greatly about her. This was the hardest test he ever had to withstand and he hoped it would be well worth it...Aruna, his angel...She was worth it.
