She didn't see the other kunai as she turned to follow Hideaki, and the knife sliced through her shirt and grazed her skin. Wincing with pain, Aura lept to the roof to face him, pulling out a kunai as she went.

He had a grin on his face as he faced her. He was in a slightly crouched position with his sword in front of him with one hand on the hilt. "You aren't that bad of a fighter."

The smirk remained on his face as he lunged at her suddenly with his sword poised to strike her. The back of his shirt that was loose flayed out behind him.

Eden danced aside, then stabbed at his back with the kunai she was holding, her blond hair streaming away from her face.

He turned around but wasn't quick enough to block it. When the kunai made contact, the figure turned to water. He smirked as he appeared behind her and aimed a kunai towards her back.

Aura spun around and knocked the kunai far enough off course that it wouldn't hit anything vital. She gave a hiss of pain as the knife cut her other side, then grabbed it, so she was holding two kunai. She came towards Hideaki in a dead run, holding the kunai in front of her.

He ran forward and did a handspring over her. As he was coming down to land on the other side of her, he turned his body and aimed a kick at her. When he hit the ground, he rolled in order to reduce the impact.

Hideaki's kick hit Aura in the side, and she staggered forward a bit. Spinning around, she moved into a defensive stance and looked at him. "Think we should call it a draw?" she asked. The town would start waking up soon, and she wanted to go see if she could go on a mission.

When he looked at her and saw that she was standing normally, but in a defensive stance, he looked around for a moment. When he was through, he stood up straight and put his sword back in the sheath on his back. "Yeah. We aren't going to get anywhere at this rate."

"You're really good," said Aura, standing up normally. "I haven't had that challenging of a fight in a while..."

Hideaki shrugged while he kept eye contact. "I am a hunter-nin. I have to be that good otherwise I can't do my job." After a few moments, his gaze shifted to looking around him. There wasn't anyone else there, it was just an old habit that he had picked up.

Aura blinked, more than a little surprised. "Hunter-nin? Huh. I thought you were just a chuunin... that explains a lot," she grinned. She stretched and cracked her neck, then gave him a lazy wave. "Well then... I'm off to get a mission. Nice meeting you..."

He smirked at her reaction. "Yes, I am a hunter-nin. I have been since I was seventeen." He placed a hand behind his back and the other soon followed it. He heard some noise in the nearby trees and recognized it as birds. He closed his eyes for a moment and then opened them again to look at her.
He placed his hands together so they were laced together and brought them up as far as he could without breaking his hold. He managed to get them up to his neck and held it there for fifteen seconds. During that time, he rotated his neck until it popped.
Once his arms were stretched and relaxed and lowered them back to his sides where they usually were. When he heard her mention a mission, he nodded. "See you later then." He gave a small wave and then began heading back out the way that he had come.

Once he had cleared the buildings, he began walking back to his house. His mind reflected back to the battle that he had just engaged in. She had indeed been a good fighter. "Maybe I will meet up with her again and we can fight again." He said to himself as he walked.
He passed by other people doing some shopping or just out for a stroll. He didn't say anything to them. After all, what need did he have to talk to them? He mind periodically moved to the fight. He would have to force it out of his mind only to have it surface again.
He looked up at the sky for no apparent reason. "Maybe I'll go to the ocean and work on my water walking." He thought about it a bit more and then decided against it. He hadn't realized it but the fight had made him tired. He decided that home and bed was a better idea.
He had to walk for about another five minutes before he reached his home. He opened the door and walked right past the kitchen and into his bedroom. He closed the door after he had walked in and walked over to his bed. He layed down on it and was asleep soon after.
