Shui Is the Veil similar to what some people call "The Conversions"? The descriptions seem to hold similarities, except that the people who call it "The Conversions" tend to be elitist.

the veil according to the mormons is a barrier ,that erased our memories of the preexistence... its there to make it a fair test... but its going away cuz the final days are coming... the end is near and the war over mens souls is nearing its end...and if u read in revelations ull see alot of the things in there are starting to happen...this is the time to prepare .

Well this sounds bad. You see it almost everyday, but a war. Incans predicted it would come around 2012 actually, but I don't really have faith in Incan predictions.

I found out through other sources, but how did you manage to figure it out on your own? The_Lonely_Bunch Well this sounds bad. You see it almost everyday, but a war. Incans predicted it would come around 2012 actually, but I don't really have faith in Incan predictions. The appocalypse is also planned for 2012 last time I checked. With more than one religion pointing to a certain year, it does make me slightly suspicious. Only because I doubt those religions are closely related, and they are both preaching the same year. Although, the Incas are long gone and some religious figurehead of Christianity may have just borrowed the year for his own needs. However, I think it's reasonable to be a little more 'on guard' in 2012.

I dont feel like reading through everything but ill tell you that this "veil" is only partly true. Actuely their is three barriers two were made by angels to slow the break down of the original barrier and they can not slow down the break down.

Well, nice to see you again, Zero. ^_~ I, too, have heard of the barrier's fading...at least, in one way or another (various theories on this). I'm hoping it will be gradual enough to allow humanity to adjust to the reintroduction of the other realms, or there may be some...problems.

Well I asked my friend about the veil, and he knows alot more about magick stuff then I do...
He said that if the veil ever does fall that the things on the other side would just disappear, that they couldn't attack because they don't have enough power to do anything like that.
Which I rather agree to. And why would they want to attack...

THIS RIMINDS ME OF THE DREAM I HAD LAST NIGHT!
*clears thoughrt*
in the dream I was some sort of buddest at a temple and a guy ran to me telling me that we were all suppossed to meet at some sort of room(when I wake up from dreams I always forget most of it), then we all started meditateing and saw a bunch of angry mobs and stuff, and there a bunch of people nailed and tied to walls and peices of wood coming out of the ground, and then this guy was saying "to prevent any more (somthing) witchcraft and other magic we will sacrifice thou witch's to make a barrier to seperate us from the (somthing) spirit world (somthing thing stuff I forgot) and now to start to sacrifice(then he started chanting some strange words..but I don't remember most of them..I think he said like tarisu 5 times though..and like ghast a few times.. but other then that I forgot the chant) and the people tied to wood and stuff were saying things like "BUT I'M NOT A WITCH!" and "this will only last a millena or two...and when that day comes..I will have my revenge on you wrecked christions." one of then said "YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING!" and one of the people were chanting somthing else..I don't remember anything of that chant because it was being drowned out by "BURN THE WITCH'S! BURN THE WITCH'S!", THEN I stopped meditateing in the dream and some guy said somthing about the age of doom coming(I think he refered to our modern socity that is always having wars and destroying places), then one of them said that in our next lives we should try and remember about this and see to it that nothing bad happen's untill then, and then one of them said "we shall count the years!" but I(even though I was not talking and it was just the person I was seeing thoure the eyes of)) pointed out that the years were already being counted and that they reached year (I forgot what the number was), and then the guy said they would count them anyways..then I woke up..
that could have just been the aftermatch of me attempting to watch anime and read stuff from the otherkin and section of this guild at the same time, or it was a memory from my past life...or it could just be some weird dream I had for no apperent reason..
I don't wan't to beleive my dream because it sounds to dark to me(and buddest's are never dark) but oh well!
oh and if people who are otherkin will become the kin they are other to? then will astral bodyparts become visibul to the naked and or mabey even phisicul!(I would love my cat tail to be able to be seen or to be able to "accidentally" knock down all the manga shelfs at a book store with my tail, causeing me to have to buy most of the manga >.<)

KilledbyKarma Kariston Well, here's my theory on the whole thing concerning the veil. It's been around for a long time point taken. I have no real theories on this, but it must've been setup a long time ago with some strong a** magick if it's still around and functioning, for the most part. Lately there has been an upsurge of "New Age" interests. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with this, but I think it might possibly be due to the psychic phenomenon increase because the veil is weakening. So much that even the non-sensitives are starting to feel it. a As for the aftermath... I personally think that there will be an upsurge of energy flow between the two worlds? planes? levels of existence. sweatdrop In this sense, I believe that alot more energy interactions will happen and alot more will change than we can even comprehend. I have no idea what will change though, but I'm pretty sure that since there is a greater amount of flow, there will be an increase in both paranorml activities and abilities. If war decides to set in, I'd guess the probable explanation would be that it was caused by the backdraft created by the flow of energy. This world has plenty of energy, but I think the otherside of the veil is much more... rich with it. And if I'm right on this I'd be sure as hell suprised, but I'm guessing there'd be a type of backdraft. Like how air in high pressure areas moves to low pressure regions I think the same thing will happen. If that's true, there's going to be alot of confusion and... Sufficit to say, hate because some of this side don't understand that there's more than flesh and blood. (There's psi!) Holy...so that's...I GOT IT! When it collapses we will have a NEW age of Magik. When it is again strong enough to do that awesome stuff Merlin did. Is that the gist? Merlin Sourly Dissapproves.
