This place is so dead. Why? gonk My sweet, sweet writer's page! You will forever live in my memory, at least.

*wears a stylish black outfit to funeral*

Priest:And now, we commit ye to the earth from whence you rose.

*muffled cry* I'm not dead yet!

Leavaros:Well I'm not going to another funeral.

*tosses off black veil*

Leavaros mutters:Stupid undead thread.

How many full length books has anyone written? Published, unpublished, or posted on the net? I've only written short story length stuff. I can't brag sweatdrop but I do have like six books in my head. ninja

My first novel is posted on the net, I haven't read it in four years so I'm not going to say whether or not I think it's any good, you can find it here The Kid in the Corner

It's only 7 chapters, not sure if that qualifies, but its longer than most shirt fictions. If anyone wants to check it out, go for it ^_^. I won't be posting my baby on the net, I'll post snippets in my guild when I get more funds *shameless guild promotion*.

::EDIT::

Okay, pay no attention to the link I gave, apparently Fp.com is being weird. Just go to Fictionpress.com and search under authors for The Shellback and find the story called The Kid in the Corner V2, for version two, I took off the first version because I fixed a lot of it in the second version, or at least I hope so. It's still a long shot from being a good piece of fiction but I'm proud to have actually finished something.

I found it. mrgreen Let's all read it and embarrass Demon!
http://www.fictionpress.com/s/1095926/1/

And it IS finished ^_^ Yay! Most fiction posted on the internet makes me mad, because people don't finish their work stressed They'll stop at chapter 4 and never tell you what happens, and I want to know what happens according to the original author, not make up my own story or read someone else's addition to it. It angers me -.-

I have my own short stories on fictionpress.com ^_^ They suck and embarrass me now. I wrote them like...three or four years ago. They're based off my experience of getting a job >.<;;;;

redface So embarrassing... Here... http://www.fictionpress.com/u/418206/ Now y'all can laugh at me redface *hides*

I do have some of my essays posted and my haikus 3nodding I'm actually proud of them. And my President Bush short story XD It's supposed to be funny...

And, no. I haven't written any books o.o which is surprising to me... I always write short stories...

I have this novel/series/project/thing I'm working on. I orginally had a deadline of seven years for at least three novels. Now that I'm older, and have more experience with developing characters and plotlines, to do a quality job it's probably going to take me the rest of my life to do a whole series, most likely 6-10 books! sweatdrop

Not that that's a bad thing! I want to be this century's J.R.R. Tolkien. Hell, he only wrote "The Hobbit' and "The Lord of the Rings", but they were of such high quality and imagination that he revolutionized the genre of fantasy for almost a century! In ten or twenty years, I'm gonna do the same thing... ninja mrgreen

EDIT: Besides my main Fantasy project that I've been working on for eight years, I have one side novel that is nearly complete, a modern spin on the old Cinderella tale(this one curses! eek ). Work on this is haphazard, because I'm my best not to use cliches, and I've scrapped one ending already.

Anyway, here's the link to what I've got finished so far. I broke it up into bite sized little pieces, to make it easier to read, but beware! This isn't for the kiddies. You have to at least be sixteen to take a look at this. Coal: Part One

You think 15 pages is long? My average chapter is about 15 or more pages, why don't you post it here and you can get a general feedback from everyone?

I know not having time to write sucks, I've got so many ideas for mine, I've written the first book but now I'm struggling to find the time to go back and stuff it full of goodness.

Then if you're good at writing short fiction then publish a book of your collected works, writing a novel is often over rated and for those who can learn to live with or correct what they don't like in their novels. The fact you're actually throwing out your work is stupid beyond anything. I've kept all my old writing, I'm embarassed as hell about it, but even in those rediculous pieces of fanfiction and fiction I find ideas and canons that can be worked into other stories. Writing follows a logical evolution, all writing should be kept, even if its shite, if only to look back and laugh at it.

I haven't written abook yet, but I'm getting to that length where a short story is not the proper term for what I write anymore.

Why, I have written a short book that is published. Its called Web of Lies, and its about a female soldier who's husband is trying to kill her, and how she and her son cope.
