Captain RoseliteRoselite frowned sadly.
He didn’t feel like it was his place to meddle. He didn’t know if it would be appreciated. Bloodstone often implied that it wouldn’t be, claimed Roselite could better serve the Negaverse by keeping his head down and seeing to his duties. Roselite didn’t want to be a bother. He didn’t want to be a nuisance. He didn’t want to get in the way or cause distractions. He cared so much about this place and these people. None of them had been cruel to him, despite the terrifying ordeals they often experienced. He wished things could be easier, for all of them.
When the debriefing and demonstrations ended, Roselite turned to Kamacite with another small, barely there smile.
“Would you like some coffee? Or tea? I have hot chocolate in the office, too.”
One day, perhaps Roselite would have a youma of his own. If he ever attained the rank of General, maybe he could make use of an alternate weapon, even just to see what it would be.
For now, he would do what he could with what he had at his disposal.------------ Eternal Cymophane“Something,” Cymophane repeated after Taenite. “I’m sure I can guess what that something is.”
He didn’t say it in a judgemental way, more amused than anything else. He’d been in the Negaverse for almost two years now, and while he loved to chat and gossip, there were still plenty of agents and senshi he didn’t know. Some he kept his distance from on purpose. Others he simply hadn’t had the time to become acquainted with. What he personally felt about any of them was irrelevant to every mission he’d been on.
When the debriefing drew to a close, Cymophane grabbed Taenite by one of his well-muscled arms, giving it a teasing tug.
“Come on,” he said. “I want those details. Unless you need to have a word with loverboy first.”

General King JetAt Faustite’s request, Jet summoned Arles. Followed by a quiet hum of cackling from the shadows -- except the sound was only heard in each of the audience’s head. Pinpricks of stars danced in the darkness, as well as a swish of a tail maybe. Teeth were visible too, like some twisted version of a Cheshire Cat. Jet tried not to roll his eyes at Arles’ dramatics.
The shadows rolled onto the stage, although they remained far from direct light. A shadow of a dog was seen maybe for a few moments, before something shifted and out stepped a being that looked more wolf than man, despite his torso, arms, and face resembling a human. If that human was made of starlight and shadow. He was also wearing tattered clothing of a shirt, vest, and pants, although the pant legs had been ripped apart to make room for his canine hocks.
Arles didn’t speak (surprisingly, if anyone asked Jet), but he made an overdramatic flourish of his clawed hand and bowed as if receiving a standing ovation. Jet was pretty sure Arles thought he deserved one.
“And for my next trick,” Arles grinned, all teeth and dark voids for eyes. With another shift of energy, Arles changed back into shadow and starlight shaped like a large dog. Cackling continued while Jet frowned and cast an apologetic glance up at Faustite.
“When we tried it earlier, Arles stayed in his other form all day until we returned to the Rift. It… seems as though youma that have gained access to another form are more versatile than expected,” Jet said after standing from his seat, wanting the others still there to know that the change in information was due to his own lack of understanding for how Arles’ new form worked. Information that he’d given Faustite prior to the debriefing.
The gleeful cackling in his head made him suspect that Arles knew this whole time and wanted to be overly dramatic in everything.

Lieutenant Sodalite
There was nothing more to record it seemed. Sodalite ended the recording on his device of everything that was said and done before hastily tucking the electronics away into a pocket on the inner side of his uniform. There had been a lot of things that had been gone over as a result of the explorations that had been done in the building. His gaze found Prehnite's before he gave his general a brisk nod to indicate that he was ready to leave the room. The recording would be shown to Hylonome when she would be open to receiving visitors. If he gave the footage over to Prehnite it would probably get to the injured senshi a lot quicker but somehow he felt that he should be the one to relay the recap of the meeting.
Blinking slowly Sodalite followed the trickle of the agents that had come on this mission exiting the room proper before trying to locate some sort of map that would take him to the infirmary. It'd probably not be too hard to ask but Sodalite was determined to find the place on his own. There was a lot of Dark Kingdom to explore and he needed to start somewhere. The only places he'd seen so far was a cursory overview when Prehnite had brought him into the fold, so to say. And now this exploration into the Rift. But now he had another building he needed to find and he would do it on his own. Keeping an eye on those that passed him by Sodalite kept his attention straight ahead as he looked for signs that would point him in the right direction. Finally he came across the building in which injuries were treated in the Negaverse proper and slipped inside. He was made to wait but eventually he was given an audience with the injured Hylonome.[[ Just writing my Sodalite exit ]]
