Cost: Ax25 per post for flight/movement ----------------------------------------- Technique Name: Zenith Moth Swarm Description: These light-loving moths are brightly colored, almost appearing like radiant butterflies. These moths are attracted to those who need protecting. Technique Effect: Aoi summons a swarm of brilliant white moths, called Zenith Moths. These moths feed on negative energy, transforming it into positive energy, and enjoy the sun more than the night. When this moth swarm is active, if there any attempt by anyone in the combat area (including Aoi, his enemies, his allies, etc.) to LOWER, DEBUFF, REDUCE, or otherwise negatively effect a numbered value (such as a stat, attack power, etc) with one of their techniques or madeups, the Negative value of that ability is cancelled/nullified. The ability is still treated as having been used, but with a negative value of -0 instead of the previous one. This effect can be resisted if the user of the ability in question has more RESOLVE than Aoi’s SPIRIT Every time a negative value is cancelled with this ability, Aoi’s moth-related attacks and abilities get a stackable +5 bonus to one or many numbered value(s). If there are any active Twilight Moths in the area when Zenith Moths are summoned, they immediately seek out and devour every one. For each Debuff the Twilight Moths had applied in their short life the starting moth buff to the Zenith Moths is a cumulative +5 -- Cost: ----------------------------------------- Technique Name: Twilight Moth Swarm Description: These nocturnal moths are chakra devourers, quick to devour excess chakra in the area… and then some. Technique Effect: Aoi summons a swarm of jet-black moths, called Twilight Moths. These Moths feed on positive energy, transforming it into the negative, and are normally nocturnal. When this swarm is active, if there is any attempt by anyone in the combat area (including Aoi and Allies) to INCREASE, BUFF, RAISE or otherwise make bigger a mechanical number value, that increase is fully cancelled, and is instead applied to the STAT related to the ability (derived stats take ½ this value from each stat involved) as a DEBUFF. This can be resisted by someone with more SPIRIT than Aoi’s INTELLIGENCE If there are any active Zenith Moths in the area in the area when Twilight Moths are summoned, they immediately seek out and devour every one. For each +5 bonus the Zenith Moths had when devoured, the Twilight Moths get a -5 Debuff that can spend to apply in addition to any debuff granted by this ability. Know simply as the 'Black Beast' those unlucky enough to be connected to it are said to suffer. A black orb is fused into Kyojuro's hands, and it is just this thing that grants him the power and abilities of the 'Black Beast'. In small doses Kyojuro is able to use this dark power to increase his strength. But controlling the power slowly takes a toll on his body and soul. Using this power increases his speed, Along with increasing his speed, [Blood Kain] doubles Kyojuro's darkness Jutsu's power at double the cost of the Jutsu. Due to the stress on Kyojuro's body, [Blood Kain] can only be used for 10 rounds per fight. After the fight, Kyojuro's must rest and recover. The [Gloves of the Soul Eater] have the ability to heal slight injuries to the wielder's body while draining the opponent. By simply landing a melee attack on the opponent, the user can heal a minor wound on himself while causing a like wound on the opponent. This isn't meant to save the wielder from a life threatening injury, but it will allow him to last longer and keep the seals on his body in proper shape Technique Effect: While Active, Attacks with the gloves heal for the damage dealt to the opponent up to ¼A Maximum Cost: Ax25 per post active. This sword is massive, yet light weight. Due to its sheer size [Sword of the Soul Eater] allows it to be able to defend the wielder's key organs from oncoming attacks, but at the cost of one of the user's attacks. The hidden dark side to this blade is that it is able to channel [Gloves of a Soul Eater]'s special powers through it. This allows the wielder to use both Taijutsu and Kenjutsu, while using the effect of the [Gloves of the Soul Eater]. Another twist to the sword is the [Sword of the Soul Eater] is about to turn into a scythe, granting the user a wider attack range and more diversity in attacks. The blood of prodigy empowers her, giving her speed and a force of will that few will understand. Though the downside is the fact that manic depression runs rampant through their blood, like a cancer on the psyche making most of the line unstable emotionally. Technique Effect: Intelligence +A Cost: Passive Approved - RyuuTechnique Name: Lifelike Puppetry Creation Description: This is the technique that comes with the substance that her puppets are made out of. Each fake metal is actually able to regenerate itself slightly. Though it is already a hard substance, any cracks or gashes that may be received in the puppet's body, can be regenerated as if they were good as new. All puppets are coated in a specialized synthetic skin that greatly resembles a living thing in both texture and appearance. Actually able to generate a semblance of blood upon being damaged just like a normal perspn. Puppets can regrow the lost synthetic skin over the puppet like frame, any time outside of combat if it is damaged, as long as it is mentioned within a post. Technique Effect: Puppets are made of different material allowing their defenses to be strengthened at will. They appear human to those that cannot succeed in an Intelligence vs Isis' Intelligence check. Puppets gain Intelligence +A defense and regenerate health at 15 HP per post. Outside of combat, puppets can regenerate synthetic skin anytime outside of combat. Cost: Ax25 + ( 500 per post healing is used ) Cost can be spent with or without healing option. This obvious illusion is to coax the target to try and free themselves from the Genjutsu. Once they do, and it doesn’t come from an outside force; the second stage activates, where the murder of crows now go after the target as if they are carrion. This causes the nervous system to over react and cause pain like they are being clawed, pecked, and torn apart by the crows. The spin can be prevented with a discreet switch on the handle. This is an effective weapon in melee and ranged combat, and holds a deadly secret. Technique Effect: -- SPIRIT determines the damage of this weapon. -- This weapon can be thrown (Speed+A for attack speed) to any location within sight, and the trajectory manipulated in transit. The weapon returns at the end of the post. -- The Kyuketsuki can absorb the blood out of the air. Saizo can absorb some or all of the mist created from Bleed stacks/applications that he has applied. Technique Effect: As long as he has visited and learned something from the related thread before, Xzavior can learn any technique he has access to (excluding Taijutsu and Kenjutsu ones) outside of their thread at 2x word count requirement (does not apply to Xzavior's CP total). If he trains in the appropriate area to learn a technique, he learns it at a normal Chakra cost. Xzavior can waive the requirement to have visited the location before if he spends an additional 3000 words “researching” techniques used by a particular village or inspiration for them in an appropriate research area (somewhere with books). For this purpose, Research is treated like it’s own technique that does not increase CP total, and that must be learned before any other techniques from that clan can be learned without direct experience. So all may grow. Technique Effect: -- Tyrael is capable of shedding his own light that illuminates up to 100 feet from him. This light is so bright and holy that it can blind someone with darkness in their heart (any enemy who fails a comparison of Tyrael’s SPIRIT+A vs. their RESOLVE. Blindness lasts for 1 post after light is extinguished -- Any light-based technique can have +B added to a single stat-based calculation or fixed value related to that technique if Tyrael chooses -- Tyrael is capable of performing miracles (outside of combat). The nature of these miracles can vary, but they must be RP-only, with no combat application. The further removed from combat/stats/mechanics this miracle is, the more ok. Is learned like any other technique for 2000 words but the words must be in Tyrael's presence. If a possessor of the light shows to have darkness hiding in their heart (or Tyrael deems them unworthy of it), these buffs become unstable and can turn into debuffs at any point The Light (Tyrael) chooses, at which point the debuff lasts for 3 posts and then The Light is extinguished (all effects end) Adherents feel a constant sense of safety and protection if in a lit area. Achana can then make five hand signs [ Rat - Dog - Ox - Rat - Tiger ], and upon execution cause all of the bright lights of the Hazy Flame to glow so bright that it creates a white light around her before the orbs fizzle out. This damages the neural pathways of those who look at it, friend or foe. It is typically used against targets entrapped by a Genjutsu so the warning to close one's eyes does not reach them. Technique Effect: Must be used while Fire Style: Hazy Flame is active -> [ Targets those in Combat; Friend or Foe ] If Achana's Resolve is higher than her Target's Resolve; The suffer internal damage equal to her [ Resolve+A ] - [ Target's Defense or Resolve, whichever is higher ]. This, however, causes damage to her body while strengthening her for a counter-strike. Technique Effect: Must know Gates: When affected by a Genjutsu or Genjutsu-Like effect, Sasaki can take 5 HP Damage immediately to break it, as an action. This then empowers her Defense by + [ A ] for that post. Cost: [A]x25 Reaver's Pending: I like the concept, but I feel like the execution isn't there.
I feel like if you're going to automatically be able to realize/understand/break free from a genjutsu. Then 5 damage doesn't cut it.
I'd rather see something like: The difference between the Genjutsu's Resolve and your Resolve as HP damage. Technique Effect: Requires sword from Hidden Katana: If Sasaki's Speed + [ A ] is higher than her opponent's Speed, then active Doujutsu of the target of this technique are 'Sealed' for 1 Post, losing all benefit or ability. - Though they may be reactivated on the following post for no additional chakra cost outside of their upkeep. Cost: [A]x25 Reaver's Pending: I'm not a BIG fan of this, but I think if you give it a decently sufficient cooldown I'd be willing to allow it through. Especially since "needing a sword from Katana" is completely irrelevant to the technique as a whole, other than a "Well I need a Katana for it!" statement as a reasoning. haha
