RP Response:Virtue picked up the hesitant look in the mother's eyes. She gave it a quick thought and nodded, letting her go back to the crowd in hopes to find her pup. Perhaps she'll feel safer with others rather than out alone looking in the dark of the night. With another sigh, Virtue herself went to look around the edge of the bank. She felt unsafe, eyes slightly focused on a tuft of [you swear you remember this....] hair. Was it a bear's? or another wolf's?? If it happens to jump out of the bushes to attack, she will spring aside and fight back hard. Ears raised and tail tucked, she approached the bank in silence while taking slow calm breaths, and hoped for the best that there was no limp tiny body to be found by the water....If that was the case, she wouldn't be able to tell the distressed mother with bad news of her young pup being dead... RP Response: Condor grew dishearted over the lack of physical evidence. his instincts screamed at him that the pup should have left footprints after all the ground was moist and he was leaving his own trace of pawprints. However, a tuft of fur caught his eye. Condor raced forward towards the clue. The [you swear you remember this....] fur most likely belonged to the pup. Just as he was deciding his next move he heard a voice calling for the pup. Condor is unfamiliar with this territory, but perhaps the owner of the voice could help him find the pup. tab Not being one to get discouraged easily, River Hawk took her time searching the bank. The nearly pristine earth around her seemed odd, especially considering this was where the pup had been seen last. Surely there would have been prints when if he was just a little wisp of a thing. The discovery of the small tuft of fur certainly said something, what exactly was yet to be determined.
tab Her pale gaze flickered between the greenery that held the fur captive and the swiftly moving waters of the river. If the pup had fallen in, he was lost to the currents. A sad outcome for what should have been a wonderful night of festivities. She was about to move closer when she heard a faint voice calling for the pup. The fur along her back bristled instantly and without a thought, she turned toward the voice and very nearly charged.

You follow the sound of the voice, although as you grow closer it sounds fainter and fainter. Eventually, you arrive where you thought it came from originally and frown as you're met with empty air. Except, as you peer close... you find... what is that? A single red rose? It seems oddly placed and has been cleaned neatly of its thorn, as if set aside for a wolf to pick up later.
Ahead of you is a worn path leading into the forest. You could turn around, but something compels your forward.
You hesitate, weighing your options. What do you do? Note: This is a special round! Neither routes will cause you to be disqualified next turn, as next turn will have two incorrect routes as opposed to the normal one! This will be the only round where either choice will not have an immediate consequence. A. Follow the path and ignore the rose. B. Pick up the rose and follow the path.

You search the bank of the river, worried you might have missed a detail. You find your way further up the edge of the river, although the voice has long since died down by now. There's no signs of the pup and you're ready to turn back and reevaluate where to go next when your eye spots something red.
It's a small scarf which has found its way halfway under a rock. You decide to pick it up, unsure if it belongs to the pup or not. You've acquired a small red scarf. Keep note of this in your inventory.
You've found your way up the bank and near a worn path into the forest. Nothing else catches your eye and the river has been thoroughly searched by now. As you make your way to the path you pause, noting a singular red rose on the ground.

You decide you should return to the party and inform the poor worried mother what you know. As you head back you start to feel your legs grow weaker and weaker. Your steps become heavier with each movement, and you're pretty sure it wasn't this dark outside just a few moments ago...
Still, you make your way where the party had been before feeling yourself collapse. You land on your stomach, raising your head to look around you. This is... wrong. No one is there, and any sign of wolf activity has been erased. It looks like a normal clearing! You sniff the air, met with only the scent of the forest and local berries. You were sure this was where the party was, but now that you strain to listen all you hear is the hooting of local owls.
It's as if nothing was here to begin with.
Sleep fights against every instinct you have. You struggle to fight against your own body, and yet your eyes begin to close, weighed down by whatever mysterious force is lulling you to sleep.
Against your will everything goes dark.
You've been eliminated from the game! At the end there will be further information about this game and how it works in-character. Rest assured, your wolf is okay! Refrain from mentioning this game and what happened until the end, where more details will be given.

RP Response: As she approached where she thought the sound of another's voice had been calling the pup, Kindle felt her brows furrow and confusion settle in. There wasn't anyone there! How interesting?! That part of her that so enjoyed the mystery of the redwood ignited. Was it a spirit? Had she been hearing things? Were there monsters out here too trying to lure her in to their dens?
It took the fiery colored wolf a good solid minute before she spotted the rose. Her blue gaze admired it, noting the strange way it seemed to be to... lack thorns?
Snorting, Kindle looked at the rose and the path her paws had been following. It was calling to her, the way the redwoods did. Looking at the rose, she decided to pick it up and take it with her, setting off once more on her chosen path. Did You Equip An Item?: n/a

RP Response: Another clue! Love Heals could have yipped for joy. Surely this meant she would find the pup soon! Coming across the rose she tilted her head at it. Now that was weird. She was pretty sure she hadn't seen any rose bushes nearby. Maybe the pup had found it and was trying to bring it back to his mom? Well, no harm in bringing it along either way. tab When she met nothing at the end of her trek, River Hawk growled in frustration. Had she been sent on a wild goose chase? There was no one here, save herself. Even the ground was bereft of any signs of another.
tab Except it wasn't, entirely. Her gaze landed on a splotch of red against the earth. For a moment, her heart leapt into her throat until she looked closer. A rose. The she-wolf hesitated but a moment before she bent and picked up the single, thornless stem and set off down the path.

RP Response: Mea tilted her head at the sight of the rose, curiosity piqued. A rose seemed innocuous enough, she figured, and it looked so pretty. So with a nod, she gently picked it up between her teeth and then turned to make her way down the path. She wondered where it led, if perhaps it would lead her to whoever had left the rose there, and if by chance the pup had wandered down it as well. She hoped so - the longer the pup remained unaccounted for, the less likely it was that they would find him. Did You Equip An Item?: No

RP Response: Mourning Dove had ran to catch up to the voice and in her running, she had nearly stepped on the rose in front of her. Stumbling as she tried to skid to a stop, she just managed to catch herself, before she stared at the rose beneath. With a sigh of relief, she stared at the rose, noting its lack of thorns. Some sort of message? She wondered. If so, while she didn't know what it was, she was going to take it. RP Response:Gaze of Verdant Gold frowned, picking up the small, red scarf and tossing it over his back for now. Did it belong to the pup? He would ask the mother if he saw her again before finding the pup. Still, the search continued and he was soon bewildered by what he found.
He stared suspiciously at the rose, noting the lack of thorns while also looking around for a possible source. No rose bushes in the area he could see from here. Odd. Then why was it here? It had been placed here, clearly, but for what purpose? Was it some sort of sign? Was it related to the pup's disappearance?
He started to step around it and continue, then shifted his weight back to his other foot to pick up the rose as a second thought before continuing down the path in search of little [something seems wrong... you can't remember what went here!]. Did You Equip An Item?: No
RP Response: Every instinct Lost possessed screamed at her to exercise caution, yet for some unknown reason she found herself drawn to the worn path that weaved into the woods. At her feet lay a red rose, its thorns delicately plucked away. On any other occasion, she would have paid it no mind, but somehow without thinking the rose ended up cradled carefully between her teeth. Why the rose had been laid there, and where the voice had disappeared to, were questions that weighed heavily upon her mind. They mystery itself was enough to draw her forward into the woods. RP Response:"Where could this pup be?"Ash was getting very frustrated with these misleading clues. First the pup at the river, and now this voice that has seemed to quite suddenly disappear.
Feeling a bit discouraged, Ash was on his way back to the party when something caught his eyes. A rose, in this weather, with no others in sight. Whether it was left here on purpose, he decided to bring it along. Maybe, if anything, he could give it to the mother if Ash could not find her pup.

RP Response: She picked up the small scarf, taking note of where it had lain. She didn't want to carry it in her mouth in case she needed to call out, so she tossed it over her shoulder so that it hung loosely over her neck on both sides. She felt that she had scoured the entire area and was ready to move on when she noticed another source of red. She approached, noticing that the rose seemed to have been picked and thorns scraped away from the stem. It seemed someone must have dropped it. She looked around to see if she could see anyone. Nothing. Just a quiet din aside from the sounds of the river rushing past. She decided there was nothing else to examine and so, picked up the rose and moved forward.

RP Response: Well that was something. No sign of a dead body is always a good thing. After some digging and shoving with the rock, Virtue now has a small red scarf in her mouth that could belong to anyone. She herself was not even sure if this was the mother's or the lost pup's or heck, maybe it's a lost scarf... But what made her even more confused was seeing a single red rose in the middle of nowhere that was left for her to find. Is this...another clue? she wondered, dropping the little scarf over the rose. The wolf crouched down and bit her teeth into the scarf again, and snugly nested inside, laid the fragile red rose. .. She knew she can't pick up anymore things even if she wanted to. her mouth is only so big. and whatever these objects are, she haven't a clue how to even decipher this mini mystery of the lost pup.. With stuff in her mouth, she carried on down the path ahead.

RP Response: Condor have sworn he had heard voices this way. Frankly it as spooky how the voices kept getting fainter as he got closer. Instead, a single red rose stood alone. There were no wolves or other animals who could have placed the rose, though there was clear evidence the rose had been altered. Condor was thankful that the thorns of the rose had been taken off as it allowed him to pick the rose up by the stem as he walked down the path. Did You Equip An Item?:n/a
