You take a few deep breaths, something you are painfully aware should not be possible where you are now, and finally calm down enough to function. The being, back to smiling placidly, begins to saunter away. Wait. They are walking?! On nothing but very thin air?! After a moment of shock, you follow their lead and take a few steps. It seems that, despite the many many obvious logical issues with this action, it’s working. You catch up to the being and begin walking by their side. It is at this time that you notice that your hair and clothing are behaving much the same way theirs is. It’s billowing and flowing as though you were submerged in water. Despite whatever else you’re feeling, you have to admit: this feels magical. No matter how much you know or don’t know about space, you now know that you need to suspend that. Especially since solar system planets are passing you by every few yards despite the fact that you are both strolling at a fairly leisurely pace. You watch as far-off stars pass you by like fairy lights, lost in your own thoughts when the being touches you. You glance at them and then follow their extended finger with your gaze. The Horsehead Nebula is bigger than you thought. What you thought once encompassed a few feet or maybe even a few miles actually extends to impossible distances. The next action you take is born simply out of wonder. Option 1Without thinking, you make some soundless joke about cowboys and the old west. It seems, however, pathetic next to the sheer awe that you feel but… it was the only thing you could conjure. Option 2Your legs move on their own, bringing you towards the nebula. You just want a closer look. A more concrete idea of what you’re looking at. Something to make this real. Option 3Awe and wonder freeze you in your steps and all you can do is stare, unblinking, at the fierce and terrible force before you. Quote: Chose one option as your answer! Please be sure to post the number at the top of your post along with your point total. PLEASE NOTE: From here on out you are on your own! No matter who you came with or who is around you, you are no longer able to interact with them. It's just you and your guide! REMINDER: Please only post once between prompts. This is to prevent any conflicts with your character actions and any story elements that players are not yet aware of. Thank you!

Nataniel Khellasati (Option 2) Point Total: 2
The shock began to ebb the longer Nataniel was able to stare down from this great height. As the being whisked herself away from his grasp, he found that he didn't mind the lack of support. He could only be imagining things, no matter the oddly specific sensations that came with it. And frankly, he was no more pleased with her than she was with him. What did she expect any rational man to do when all of this occurred without explanation?
To someone so ethereal, his feelings must have been irrelevant, since she began to wordlessly stride away. At this point, there seemed little reason to argue and almost less sense in wondering 'how' or 'why.'
A lot of recent events in Nataniel's life seemed ridiculously irrational.
And he supposed he was just along for the ride, this time. It didn't bother him as much as it could have. He had been laying comfortably and peacefully on the grass moments prior, so it seemed sensible that he must simply be asleep, or in that strange half-asleep daze where things felt more real and the mind was much too overreactive about it. Admittedly, Nataniel didn't fancy himself creative enough to conjure all this, but that was irrelevant. He followed after her.
Space was not something he typically concerned himself with. It was too vast for someone with even Nataniel's mental capacity, and he did not think himself stupid. There was nothing beyond the earth's atmosphere that interested him anymore than anything on the earth itself. There was simply no benefit to thinking too long or hard about it.
Nataniel knew very little about stars, galaxies, and constellations, so when the being reached for him and pointed, he didn't know what she expected of him.
Nevermind that, though, as he wasn't even sure what he expected of himself. Awe, perhaps. The scene was one that was entirely unfamiliar (how could it be anything but?) with fantastical stripes of deep blues and purples painted across the entirety of his vision, flecked with shining specks of light. He moved nearer to observe more closely.

Evren PorterOption 3 Total: 2As the being eventually got away from her Evren then noticed that they were walking away from her. Well, she figured it had to be some sort of illusion anyway since you can't exactly breath in space... As Evren followed she felt her hair and clothes float around her. I guess not exactly an illusion maybe more like a dream... When the nebula came into her sight she just stopped. Evren could only look in wonder space was still such a miraculous thing that seemed to surprise her every time she witnessed more of it.

Liliane Benson Option: 1 (Changing it up!) Total Points: 2
She certainly wasn't the most popular individual when it came to this mystery celestial being. She'd unimpressed them in the first instance, and potentially offended them in the second... And now she was about to crack a joke that was probably going to fall flat. She wasn't the world's greatest comedian and even she knew it, but when faced with this, she was at a loss for a words.
She lacked the knack for poetry.
She lacked the ability to convey her own thoughts in sketched medium.
The most she could do was speak wordlessly into the void and admire what lay before her. The Red Prince she had met previously in a time that felt like years ago, he had said that space was dark, cold and lacking in beauty, yet here she stood before something truly divine and all she could think about was cowboys. If only her mouth was capable of expressing her emotions as well as she could feel them.
Floating within the void she could do nothing more than marvel at that point... If she wasn't careful she would end up with a taste for this type of exploration and she wasn't even sure she'd be able to satisfy the craving.

Arian LaithChoice: Option 2Points: 1 + 1 = 2Apart from the strange being that had seen fit to haul him up here it seemed like he was alone. Alone and in space. It was in some ways somewhat alarming, although a part of Arian couldn't help but feel a little bit relieved that neither Eunkyung or Sachio had been dragged into - well whatever this was– Because whilst strange being hadn't exactly shown any hostility, there was a lot of unknowns about the whole thing - and he didn't want his friend or her friend to end up facing the risk of getting hurt should things end up going pear-shaped. He hadn’t realised that he was still clinging on to the being, until he suddenly wasn't , his hands suddenly empty as the being reappeared somewhere that was most definitely out of arm's reach– And Arian couldn't help but feel somewhat embarrassed - because whilst the being hadn't exactly said anything, he couldn't help but get the feeling that the being hadn't exactly been thrilled by the way that he had clung onto it all limpet-like. It was still hard to process that he was in space though given that he very much shouldn't have been. It was about this point that the being started to wander placidly off, stepping casually on thin air as if strolling down a sidewalk. It had taken Arian a good few moments before he could make himself follow, eyes widening from beneath the lenses of his glasses as somehow he was able to follow the other without inc, not noticing (at least not immediately) the way that his hair and clothing had both started to billow. Instead his attention had been caught by the nebula that the being had pointed out, his eyes widening in startled wonder as his legs carried him closer without conscious thought.

Total Points: 1 Choosing Option: 2
The figure moved away and walked on, into the sea of stars. It seemed almost as though they were stepping on thin air. Ever so cautiously, Noelle began to follow them. And once she caught up to the mysterious individual, they began to stroll along side by side. All the while Noelle stared in wonder at the beauty of the solar system around her.
When the strange being reached out and touched Noelle, the girl looked up and saw that they were pointing at something. It was the horsehead nebula. “Woooow,” Noelle whispered in awe. “I can’t believe what I’m seeing!”
She found her legs kept moving as she walked closer and closer to the nebula. She wanted a better look; something to make sure this was real. She reached out, wondering if she could maybe touch it. It looked close enough after all.

Result 1The being cracks a small half smile at your soundless joke, but nothing more. At least you think you’re funny. (1 Point) Result 2You approach the nebula, and realize too late how hot and turbulent the area is. You are buffeted by searing heat and dust before retreating back to your guide. They roll their eyes, clearly expecting more from you. (0 Points) Result 3Clearly, you are regarding what your guide has shown you with appropriate deference. They nod their approval and smile, seemingly proud of themselves for what they have shown you. (2 Points)

After the nebula, you wonder what else your guide has in store for you. You glance at them and their gaze is steadily ahead of them. It’s almost as if they have forgotten you are there as they travel, and you begin to feel a bit like an intruder on a solitary walk. You walk for what could have been seconds or hours or lightyears before they turn to you again. They smile at you, that same serene smile as before, and put a hand between your shoulder blades. You allow yourself to be pressed forward. And then you here the first sound you’ve heard since leaving earth. It sort of like the sound of shards of glass being jostled. Looking down you notice that the stars which once spread out before and beneath you like an endless abyss are now gathered at your feet like dust. Each step you take disturbs them, sending them up in glittering clouds. The reverent awe from before is replaced with something else. Something more… Option 1Frightening. Stars as you knew them were meant to be burning balls of gas. Lightyears apart. Lightyears away. And now they were gathered at your feet like dust… had you disturbed the natural order of things? Option 2Serene. Carefully you stoop down to pick up a star. It glitters like a diamond in your hand. It feels neither hot nor cold, nor can you feel it resting against your palm. But there it is, nonetheless. Option 3Child-like. With a soundless laugh which bubbled up within you, you reach down and grab two handfuls, tossing them above you. The stars fall around you like snow. Quote: Chose one option as your answer! Please be sure to post the number at the top of your post along with your point total. Liliane Benson Option: 2 Total Points: 3
She'd given a start, it had been an alarming sound and one she had been immediately concerned by... Or at least she had been until she saw the shattered stars beneath her feet. Now cosmic dust, there was something poetic in how they had simply returned to their original state. In the end everything would return to this state and from there it would find a new purpose, perhaps to build a new star or even a new world.
...Stooping to collect the dust in her hands she inspected the weightless substance and smiled warmly.
Maybe this would breathe life into a newborn someday as well?
She felt calmer than she probably would have done in any other given circumstance, but whatever journey she was on didn't seem to be a dangerous one and given she hadn't offended her guide too much, she didn't see any fear in where it would take her.
On this occasion it seemed more important to simply embrace whatever she was being shown, even if she didn't quite understand it yet.

Total points: 1 Choosing option: 2
After reaching out, Noelle immediately regretted it. She could feel the heat coming off the nebula. And a puff of dust blew into her face. She yelped in surprise and backed away, embarrassed. The figure rolled it's eyes at her, clearly unimpressed. Noelle pouted, and sighed. A warning would have been nice.
But the figure continued walking along, and Noelle followed. After awhile, she was beginning to feel like she was alone on this journey. They had walked for so long, it was almost as though she was forgotten. Or at least that’s how she felt. But just as she thought she was being ignored, the mysterious figure appeared next to her, touching Noelle between the shoulderblades. Pressing forward, Noelle heard the first sound she’d heard since arriving in space. It sounded like shards of glass being kicked around.
She looked down toward her feet to see the shattered remnants of stars. They were beautiful! This was the perfect opportunity to reach out and touch something yet again. And as if she hadn’t learned her lesson the first time, she reached out to pick up a piece of a star and examine it. It was so pretty! She turned it over in the palm of her hand and watched it sparkle.
