Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble... Username:Silver Metallic Dragon Preference List: 3, 1, 2, 7, 8 re-roll
Ingredients: • Pot or cauldron • 4 fragrant jasmine blooms • 2 raw rose quartz crystals • 1 larimar crystal • 1 raw garnet crystal • 2 feathers from a mated pair of love birds • 1 bundle of white sage, for burning • Seasonal gifts to the goddess • 4 white pillar candles • 4 abalone shells • 1 eagle feather • 4 cups of water
Recipe: First, you need to set up your alter to the goddess. Have mats, blankets, fabrics, whatever you like to place on the ground and alter, to protect your legs and her offerings. She’s not picky, whatever your taste is. Bring your seasonal gifts, for this example we’ll say a pumpkin, fall leaves and an acorn squash, and place them on a small raised table. Take your 4 white candles and place them in the 4 cardinal directions, in front of the alter, leaving space in the middle. Do not light them yet. Next, place one of your abalone shells to the left of the offerings, and another to the right. In the abalone to the right, place one of your rose quartz crystals, along with the larimar and garnet crystals. Be sure to tell the crystals exactly what you need from them, and they’ll assist you. For this spell, you ask them to assist you in your search, and for them to help you call upon the goddess. In the abalone to the left, place your unlit sage bundle. At this point, fill a pot with water, and bring it to a boil over an open fire. While the water heats, crush the blooms with a mortar and pestle. Add the crushed blooms, rose quartz crystal and feathers into the boiling water. Allow the mixture to boil together for 5 minutes before removing it from the fire.
At this point, light the 4 candles and call on the goddess. ‘Oh goddess of love and light, I ask you to aid me in my plight…’
As the brew cools, light the sage and using the eagle feather, smudge the area by waving the eagle feather over the smoking sage. This clears the area of negative energies and allows the goddess to visit your alter. At this point, you should begin to feel a shift in the energies around you. Once you finish smudging the area, place the sage back on your alter and ladle the brew into the other 2 abalone shells. Place one shell at the base of your alter, on a mat or blanket. Take the other shell for yourself. Sit directly in the middle of the 4 candles and ask the goddess to join you in drinking your brew. As you sit, drink and speak with the goddess. Tell her what you called on her for, and why you need her help. Be open and honest, she is far more likely to assist that way. If she accepts your prayers and offerings, a gust of wind will blow out your candles! Be sure to leave the brew and offerings, for she’ll come by and have a drink and take her gifts after you’ve left.
Purpose: While this ritual can be used for many things, with ingredients interchanged for what you wish to accomplish, this brew is to bring love into your life. Be it romantic or familial love. It can help repair broken relationships and bring lost family back into your life.

Ingredients: - Lavender Branch - Agrimony Leaves [5] - Chamomile [German or Roman, Users choice] - Linden leaves [7] - Poppy blooms [3] - Rosemary Stalks [1] - Valerian Stalks [2]
Recipe: First one must gather all the ingredients as fresh as possible. While gathering them, be sure to keep your thoughts as pure as possible. You don't want the plants getting the wrong idea. Grind up the Valerian Stalks into 'Graveyard Dust'. Once ground, toss in two snaps of Rosemary, then grind again. Keep doing so till the Rosemary is gone.
The Lavender branch is to sit on the side until the last bit. Take the Linden leaves dropping them into the water whole, do not grind them. The Agrimony Leaves follow suit.
Take the petals of the Chamomile and Poppy blooms, grind them up separate from the Graveyard Dust and Rosemary. Pour both mixtures into the water.
Finally, take up the Lavender Branch. Peeling off the leaves and blooms, shave the branch of its bark. Add the bark to the water. Taking the blooms and leaves, grind these then add as well. Bury the core of the branch at moonrise.

Ingredients: • 1 crow feather freely given • Powdered Mandrake root harvested on a dark moon • A tear of happiness from a mermaid • A Dragon’s flame • Fresh fallen snow from the highest mountain • 1 Jar of honey • A unicorn hair • Fairy dust from a pixie suffering from insomnia
Recipe: As the clock strikes twelve on a full moon night, place a caldron upon the dragon’s flame. As the caldron heats, add the jar of honey, the tear of a mermaid, and the fresh snow. Wait for the caldron to boil and bubble, when purple smoke arises, take two scoops of the mandrake root powder using the crow feather; use the feather to stir the caldron. Let the feather dissolve. A wild, forest scent should fill the air; sprinkle the fairy dust into the potion, coating all the bubbling liquid. The potion will turn every color of the rainbow. Lastly add the unicorn hair. A blinding light will occur if the potion is made correctly.
Now recite this spell to lock in the potion’s transformative effects:
I call upon the ancient beings of wind, fire, water, earth and spirit to bless this potion, Allow us to use what is in this brew to us express our devotion. May those who drink from this flask, Drop their worldly mask, And reveal to all Their heart’s true call.
Purpose: The potion turns those who drink it into what lies within their heart. If their heart is full of wickedness, a beast shall they become. If they possess a heart that is lovely and pure, they shall become a powerful being of good.

Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble... Username: Mahogany Sunset Preference List: 1, 2, 4
Ingredients: Deck of oracle cards [of your choice], routinely used for 333 days Crystal, purified and cleared of energy [mineral that speaks most to you] 1/4 tsp. + 1/2 cup ashes from the fire of Prometheus 1 drop + 1 cup holy water from the fonts of Atlantis Nine blooms from a hawthorn tree, plucked on Beltane A scrap of the veil between worlds, large enough to bind your deck [TIP: easiest to obtain at Samhain/Día de Muertos, depending on your native land] Iron cauldron blessed by fairies Yew branches from the outskirts of a sacred place [TIP: do not take yew branches from a sacred place; you will be cursed in ways unknown] Bottled sleepsand in two portions [TIP: follow the wake of the Sandman; do not attempt to steal it from him] Incantation from the Book of the Dead, specifically one which will transport you part of the way to the next realm Lightning summoned by a Thunderbird Tears of joy, captured fresh from an Erinys [TIP: to explore your nightmares, capture tears of rage or sadness] Optional: a fresh piece of nature from the environment you wish to visit
Recipe:
Before proceeding with the combining of ingredients, complete the following steps to ensure a rewarding and successful journey. If these steps are not completed, side effects include: intense nausea, uncontrollable giggling, a sense of paranoiac dread, a disoriented or permanently erring sense of direction, splitting (the leaving of body parts of various sizes in different realms), and (but not limited to) permanent residence in the land of the living, dreamland, or the land of the dead. You may experience any or all of these side effects. Should you experience them, consult your nearest Oracle or spiritual professional. Take your cards from their container - whatever you use to contain their energy and protect your connection with them. In order for this potion to work, you must have purposefully used and familiarized yourself with them for the prior 332 days. You must perform the spell and drink the resulting potion on the 333rd day. Lovingly shuffle them, thinking of your purpose - to walk in the realm between worlds, dreamland. Using a cleansed crystal of your choice, purify your own energy. Pass the crystal over places where you feel the most anxiety and restlessness. Mix a drop of holy water from the fonts of Atlantis with a quarter teaspoon of ash from the fire of Prometheus. Draw a triskele (can be faint) on the top card of your deck with the resulting paste. From the top of the deck, draw a Tree of Life spread according to the instructions for your deck, or according to any other instructions you find which feel meaningful to you. Interpret them as an oracle of your impending dreamwalk. If your conclusions lead you in the direction you'd like to go, proceed. If they do not, the choice is yours: open yourself to new possibilities, or try again next year (after another 333 days). Sprinkle the blossoms of a hawthorn tree over your spread. The blossoms must have been plucked at Beltane. CAUTION: If they were not plucked at Beltane, you will find yourself trapped in this world, never to dream again. Pressing hawthorn flowers at intervals between the cards of your deck, gather all the cards back together and square them up. Wrap them in the scrap of the veil between worlds.
Creating the potion: Hang your iron cauldron on a frame made from yew branches. Ensure that it is exactly six inches above the ground. Unstopper your first bottle of sleepsand and pour the contents into the cauldron. Important: Do not use more than three teaspoons in the potion itself. More may cause colic. Underneath the cauldron, spread the remaining ashes from the fire of Prometheus in a solid, straight line. Over the cauldron and sleepsand, invoke the incantation from the Book of the Dead. Consult an Egyptologist for help with pronunciation and comprehension, as both are critical in this step. Release the lightning summoned by a Thunderbird between the ashes from the fire of Prometheus and the base of the iron cauldron. The lightning, repelled by the iron cauldron's blessing by the fairies, will fuse the ash into an obsidian wand. Combine the remaining holy water from the fonts of Atlantis with the tears of an Erinye. Pour them into the cauldron. Stir clockwise with the obsidian wand until the sleepsand is no longer visible (potion should turn a mystical cerulean color). Unwrap your deck of oracle cards. From between the cards, collect your hawthorn blooms. Drop them into the potion one at a time, chanting the incantation for every group of three blooms. With the addition of the flowers, stir once counterclockwise, using the obsidian wand. A silver sheen should appear. Optional: Add a fresh piece of nature from a specific location you wish to visit in your dream or to add a guiding element. This may be anything such as a piece of moss from a rainforest, a blade of grass from a meadow, or a drop of saltwater from a beach. Note: Do not choose anything poisonous. The potion will not negate any harmful side effects of any elements contained therein. Lift the cauldron to your lips and drink deep. Try not to choke on any solid ingredients. After drinking, get comfortable, unstopper your second bottle of sleepsand, and sprinkle across your eyelids. Press the scrap of the veil between worlds against your eyes as a sleep mask. Once you have done this, sleep will find you in seven minutes. You will wake when you have completed your dreamquest - an objective known only to your subconscious, usually leading to a revelation upon your return.
Purpose: Dreamwalking. This practice is known to many cultures; therefore, many cultures have been consulted in the creation of this spell and the potion which will transport you. While some ingredients may be a challenge to obtain, the end result is considered by many to be worth it. Some claim to have lived entirely different lives during their dreamwalks, while others have visited for only minutes at a time. Many who dreamwalk intend to learn more about their destiny, but find that they instead learn the most about themselves. Results from the emergence from the dreamwalk varies from inner peace to traumatic fear, but unfavorable results can be mitigated by the first half of the recipe, as well as by acquiring an Erinye's tears of joy, or anything else with peaceful or happy energy. Enjoy stretching your legs in the realm beyond! DISCLAIMER: This recipe may be modified as suits the user's spirituality and impulses, but the writer is not liable for any unforeseen side effects which may occur. Pay particular attention to the warnings herein for your best chance at success.

Ingredients: 1 wheel of Casu Marzu with live larvae 2 ounces of ground saffron 6 Périgord black truffle (the rarest truffle in the world) Shaved Yubari King Melon rinds 1 Encylopedia
Recipe:
For this concoction to work, all ingredients must be made or located by the person/soquili who plans to imbibe the concoction.
After milking a goat and going through the ardorous process of making pecorino cheese, you leave the cheese to ferment while searching for other ingredients. (Note: When you have wriggling fly larvae, you have achieved the correct fermentation).
Crocus sativus flowers must be located and the "threads" (stigmas and styles) harvested then ground until you have two ounces.
Dig in France around the bases of oak trees until you find 6 of the Périgord black truffles.
Visit Yūbari, Hokkaido,Japan and obtain the rare cantelope cross called Yubari King then peel the rinds.
Take your fermented cheese with live larvae and carefully drop the threads of saffron into the direct center. The truffles are then sauteed and added to the cheese. The rinds of the Yabari King is used as a scoop to eat these rare foods.
These four items are some of the rarest in the world.
If after making and consuming this concoction of rare foods you find your common sense still lacking then go on to plan B.
Plan B: Use one heavy encyclopedia to knock common sense into the subject.
Purpose:
To give common sense, the rarest thing in the world.
"The moral of this recipe is that you can't make someone have common sense."

Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble... Username: mistalina13 Preference List: 1, 3, pass (Also not eligible for familiars.)
Ingredients: (The ink part is more potion-ish.)
Quill - A large-ish feather of your choice. From a willing donor if possible. .....If from an unwilling donor, or a goose, cleansing may be required. Trust me, the last thing you want is a grumpy writing instrument. - A knife for sharpening. (Any kind you are comfortable with.) - Quartz, incense or other implements for cleansing. (Your preference.) - Incense, a wax melt or scented oil to help it smell nice. - A small jar of some shape (with a lid) for your ink. - You also might find an ink blotter helpful. - A nice full moon night. - Your pillow to tuck it under.
Ink - A time of day you feel most powerful and are likely to be uninterrupted. - A few pinches of unfinished manuscripts burned and reduced to a fine ash. (Can be copies, just needs to be something that wasn't quite there yet...) - Color powder, fruits, nuts, dye powder or any material you can use to color dye in the color you desire for ink. - Nice clean water - Gum arabic. (Keeps the color) - Thyme oil. (Keeps any mold out of natural inks.) - A mixing vessel you don't mind discolored.
Recipe: 1. First off, acquire your feather - how you go about that is totally your choice. 2. If you feel its appropriate cleanse your feather - with quartz or incense. 3. Leave it near your wax melter, incense or spray with scented oil to have it smell nice. Set your jar of ink and your blotter nearby so they can start to get to be friends. 4. When you are ready to go to bed that night take the feather with you and tuck it under your pillow. That way it can learn from you and your dreams. 5. Retrieve the feather in the morning - cleanse or rescent it if you feel the need - then sharpen to a comfortable point. 6. Some find it comforting to talk to the feather as you work on it as it helps strengthen the bond.
That's it for the quill! Now for the ink -
1. If necessary wait for your chosen time and day - feeling powerful can help boost the imagination and make this work so much the better. 2. Prepare your coloring agent as required. If heating stove top only, nice and slow. ..... - Berries should be boiled for fifteen minutes, squished to release juice then strained. ..... - Nut shells should be boiled for thirty minutes then strained. ..... - Other pigments need to be measured according to packages. 3. Return color base to pot and turn down the heat. 2. Mix pigment with several pinches of manuscript ash and mix until well combined. Be sure to tell it how it's becoming part of something awesome to help you on your journey. (If you were using color powders add a bit of water along with the ash.) 3. Slowly add water to increase ink volume. 4. Allow it to start to cool and pour in it's new jar home. 5. Mix in gum arabic and thyme oil. 6. Close and shake well while you start thinking of stories. 7. Once it seems mixed and settled you are ready to go!
Onward to new stories!
Purpose: To make an inspiring quill and special ink.
