"Smells like a swamp," Jay remarked with a bit of a smirk. "We are in Laverre's Nature Trail, Jay," Ralward reminded his trainer. "Yeah I know," the cowboy replied simply, pulling out a pokeball to toss absently in thought. "Y'all wanna start playin' them games 'n such? I'ma take a look around," he remarked casually. PJ blinked, then looked to Ralward in surprise. "'Look'? But I thought he's--""He is. He's being facetious. Let's start getting you some tickets," the ralts replied simply, starting forward and progressing straight for one of the nearest games.

While Ralward and PJ went to play some games, Jay took a moment to handle some things with his pokemon. Rawlly had mentioned switching up his team some, and he wanted to make sure he could still travel, so he pulled out the archen's pokeball, and released it, kneeling near where the pokemon appeared. "Howdy," he said, to get the pokemon's attention. He couldn't get a good impression with all the noise surrounding him, even if he did try and use echoes, but he was going to go ahead and assume it was at least somewhat focusing on him now. "Here's the short of it-- I'm blind, 'n yer trainer, 'n I just wanted t'make sure you had a certain move in your moveset, alright?" he queried. He went still, trying to listen, and raised his eyebrows when he felt feathers brush his face. And then a wing alight... on his face. He chuckled a bit, reaching up to pull it down. "I'ma assume that's a yes," he mused.

Haha yay private threads! Lol R-really? ; u; You'd be interested....? SQUEE Hm, well, Ralward is a bit of a stick in the mud but he and PJ (a contest enthusiast) could run into the other pokies. Jay could also run into them, since I imagine it's kinda too late for him to catch up on the haunted house, unless I just did it for RP purposes. Not that he'd... get much from a haunted house, being blind and all xD There's also any and all of Jay's other pokemon, like Koda, who's a perky, lighthearted wispard with enough souls that he's kinda going through a personality shift, but is still mostly his happy go lucky self. With his headphones. Gamma is a stubborn boi who wants to be oh so much tougher than he is, but isn't quite as much of a wimp as he views himself to be, annnnd Jade is just.... just terrible... she is such an angry little meleeon...

Reaching up from the pokemon's wing, he gave it a light pet on the back of its head, before he stood up and recalled the pokemon. He listened around, frowning some as it settled in on him that he had no real... goal or direction here. Not that he needed that, he was very much that 'free spirit' sort, but he wasn't really sure where to go, or what he ought to busy himself with while his pokemon got their tickets. He couldn't really train here. Maybe Koda would like to see everything? He could clear out any stray spirits. And he could just... tag along with him. Sighing, Jay reached back to rub his neck. He was sort of missing some of his other pokemon... Mimey, Zoey, Jesse... Mimey would be dragging him all over the place. Zoey would just... know when to screech so that he could get echoes. And heck, he just missed Jesse and all her... Jesse-ness. She'd probably be pretty nervous in the crowd, though...

Niji watched Sham, Flurry, Chima and Gekkit. The two eldest were standing on opposite sides of a small pool of water, staring with concentration at the apples bobbing within. At the sound of a bell they dunked their heads in, nearly biting apples in half in their haste to get more that the other. Chima and Gekkit sat on the ground, eyes wide as they watched.
Shiisa's eyes wandered, keeping an eye on their surroundings. She was, after all, everyone's big sister. Even when Niji was here with them she would still make sure they were all safe. Well, that and she liked looking around at everything that was happening. There were so many amazing smells in this place!
The arcanine's ears perked up as she spotted a fluffy little bug and a small growlith and she totally forgot about keeping an eye on everything. Her tail started wagging and she whuffed happily, lowering her head so it was near the ground, eyes bright with interest. Since she'd been adopted by Niji she'd never really had the chance to be with her own kind, and here was one now!

I find it funny you mention Jay not getting much out of the haunted house since Alex has so far been going through with a sheet over his head so he can't see anything xD
Hakuren reached the top of the stairs huffing lightly with hands on his knees. He straightened, and the victorious grin on his face fell when he saw Arezu and Cecily already there. "You...what...how!?"
Arezu grinned, and patted Hakuren on the shoulder as she walked past him. "Guess you just need to pick up the pace, slowpoke." This caused Cecily to giggle. Maaaaybe using time travel to prank Hakuren was a misuse of power, but it was really funny.

Well, that certainly wasn't going to fit behind any ears. Arezu went ahead and put them as well as the other two from earlier away so she didn't drop them. "You know, I didn't actually see what kind of stuff we can get with these."
She did figure that stuff similar to what was at Tanabata, or even that Renaissance Festival, would be available. It was really crazy that there were people out there putting these events together, just so people could come and enjoy them, all free.

PJ was wagging his tail and watching with interest as Ralward seemed to try and play at the games. He'd offered himself up for the apple bobbing, and his fur was still pretty wet from it, but for some reason, Rawly had offered to try and smash the pumpkins. Maybe it was because he had actual (kind of) hands to lift the hammer. He perked up and turned his head when he heard something, though, and his eyes alighted on one of his own kind, an evolved one. Immediately, his wagging tail started becoming a fluffy blur, and he barked back in response. Rawly looked over as he received their tickets. "PJ--" he started, but too late. The pup bounded over, pawing at the larger of its kind, eyes wide and posture playful. "You're big!" he greeted, hopping sideways a bit with one paw lifted in the air to bat at her gently.

Walking into the Midway section of the carnival, Temperance was taken aback by the sights and smells that seemed foreign, yet familiar. She nearly missed Dallas' playful prank on a group of children trying their hardest to play one of the carni games that were often seen at these sorts of things. She was already giving him a disappointed look when he'd asked her to not 'shoot daggers' at him. She smiled wide, shaking her head quickly before joining him. "I guess you're right." She replied.
From there the group continued onward, find themselves near some more hands-on games. Meloetta tried her hand at a game where one picked out a pumpkin and search it blindfolded. Meloetta seemed rather off-put by the idea even still, she managed to find some tickets for herself. "Why don't we give it a try, Azalev?" Temperance asked. She wasn't entirely keen on searching pumpkin guts herself, but Azalev seemed to like the idea. Grabbing a glove from an attendent, the two picked out a pumpkin and Temperance went to work searching it's guts. After a minute she pulled out a small baggy with six tickets. "Look at that, Azalev." Temperance smiled. Looking over towards Dallas and Meloetta, the sing-song Pokemon posed a challenge to Dallas, pointing out another game that involved pumpkin and it's squash brethren. Joining Dallas, Temperance observed him as he picked out a rather large one, only to find himself face planting it instead. She held a hand up to her mouth, trying to hold back laughter. Of course she was worried if he'd hurt himself, but his cheeky warning put her mind at ease. "Well, let me try my hand." Temperance mentioned, stepping into the smash arena. Grabbing a free mallet, Temperance readied herself for a swing, only for someone nearby to smash their pumpkin, making seeds and guts fly all around. This put her off balance, but instead of falling down like Dallas had, she merely missed her target, hitting the ground instead. The swing counted unfortunately, so she was given a solitary ticket in consolation. "Oh bother..." She pouted. "Well, you win some you lose some." Brushing off her loss, she returned to Dallas' side. "That one is harder than it seems."

The second floor looked a lot like the first, though the floor creaked a bit more as they walked. There was something nagging at the edge of awareness though that made it seem different.
"Hey, do you guys hear that?" Hakuren asked.
Arezu stopped, straining to hear. Yes, there was a faint noise, though she could just barely hear it. Almost more like a feeling than a sound. "Barely. I think I've been hearing it since we got up here."

They, of course, decided to investigate. It would have been maddeningly difficult, given how it was hardly audible even when they were standing still. Only reason it wasn't was because this was a huanted house. They were supposed to investigate and find whatever it was.
It eventually became loud enough to tell it was a piano, playing a tune none of them had heard before. Honestly not very surprising, considering how none of them had much of a musical education.
