Dione probably shouldn't be trying for more fish... But now that she had one, she thought it would be lonely on its own. New goal: a whole tank! Or at least enough so the goldfish she already had would have some company.
Toss, toss, toss, but nothing. Hm.
Now that she wanted some, it seemed she'd deal with a few bumps to get them. She'd overcome it!

Amity had never done anything like this before. So when she tossed to balls and actually won she was amazed. She got a fishy. She had never owned a fish before but it looked cute. She would have to give it to her butler tonight.

Woopsies. At least it was simply a small plastic ping-pong ball that couldn't do much damage, even if it hit him. Sinead thought, wincing as the second ball left her hand, missing the target bowl rather spectacularly, even if not quite as badly as the first.
'Sorry.' She muttered softly to the game clerk as well as herself.
She really, really wasn't cut out for this whole playing carnival games deal. Hopefully this whole embarrassing ordeal would be over before she made much more of a fool of herself...

Stump_Fairy Stump_Fairy "Hiya!" Evren yelled on her turn as she threw the ping pong balls. Only to give a sigh of defeat when none of them entered in any fish bowls. Puckering her lips as it seems she wasn't freeing any fish this round. "Yah!" The sounds Evren made were way to over dramatic as she just threw all the balls at once instead of one at a time like a normal person. This time she was lucky enough to get one into one of the bowls. She smiled as she was handed a goldfish. Evren stared blankly. "Unfortunately, Sir Buttonwood one of you does not a rescue mission make... I must win more so we may release you a proper tank because it's not a good idea to just randomly throw fish into a river." Evren threw all the balls and none of them went into any. Letting out a breath of air her bangs. Holding the goldfish closer to her chest she squinted. "We're going to win another friend Sir Buttonwood... or go broke trying." It seemed Evren was determined to go through with operation save the fish and put them in a bigger tank.

Oh, there were the goldfish again. Owen still wasn't sure about the practicality of trying for one, but he was starting to get into the spirit of things now, so he bought a ticket anyway. He didn't have high expectations of winning (or of keeping the fish alive even if he did win), but it might be nice to have a fish in the apartment even so, so he couldn't really convince himself not to at least give it one more try.
... Not that 'one more try' paid off, as it seemed like he couldn't managed to aim anything properly. Ugh. Well, maybe some people were just meant to remain fishless, and he should resign himself to his fate. But - but he couldn't quite convince himself that he was done trying. Not yet. He would try at least one more time when he came back, just to prove to himself that he could win a fish. (Or, at least, that he could get a ball in a cup. Was his aim really that awful?)

One bounced off the side with a slight ‘clink’ on the edge of the glass. Two bounced again with a gentle, but disappointing ‘clink’. Three... ‘SPLASH’! Alphonse felt lucky to have gotten a fish on his first set of balls. How lucky indeed! Should he try again? He stared at the small goldfish as it was placed in the clear bag of water. He could go home now with his winnings. One fish was a good prize, after all. But then he saw the beautiful koi in the pond. It was much larger and prettier than the more standard goldfish. You could exchange three goldfish for one koi if you were lucky enough to win three. He had bought a few tickets not thinking he would win so soon. He should spend the rest anyway. Time to try for a koi! ✪

So close! Well, it was no problem. Nimue decided she would just keep trying. Besides, as things stood, this carnival was pretty fun and she was enjoying herself immensely.

Sabrina had been having way more fun then she planned. She had won just one plushie so far, but the experience was more than she could ever wish for. She couldn't wait to tell everyone back at the hotel.
Though she was determined to win at least one more prize as she raced up to the gold fish game.
Here goes nothing, she thought as she handed in her ticket and grabbed the balls. She tossed them and crossed her fingers. Please let me win this time.

Going to the school fair was, in his opinion, a good way to spend some time. it was hot out, too hot for Xi-Wang, but the idea of going out and maybe attempting to be social...or just have fun on his own was something he couldn't pass up. So he'd made his way to the schools fair grounds and it was while walking around, a cold drink in hand, that he'd spotted the gold fish game.
Not having a pet, and figuring fish were easy to care for, he figured he might as well give it a try. Nischal and Jason wouldn't mind if he came home with some fish - right?
Paying for some of the ping pong balls he launched the little balls, in the hopes of sinking at least one into a bowl. He pouted, no surprise there, when he failed to get a ball into a bowl. Well...he'd just have to try again - right? The goldfish were pretty....but three of them could be traded in for a koi and those koi were just....so pretty!!

Marta was ready to give it another go! There had to be room for more than one extra fish in the tank. And surprise surprise! Marta won another fish on her second toss! She eyed the offer of the koi upgrade at 3 fish critically. They were high-maintenance, so maybe they shouldn't go into the fish tank... honestly, offering a koi seemed like a poor proposal to her. Too easy to get in over your head.

After the funnel cakes, it was time to make the rounds again. Her first attempts weren't exactly the greatest, nor were the bad enough to discourage her completely from trying again.
The first went wide.
The second was a failure, but no matter. She still had one ball left. She could still manage to win something.
The third attempt, she heard the small splash indicating that hey, she actually managed to get the ball into the bowl. Score. Hopefully Oracle wouldn't see the new pet as a snack...
Then she saw the sign... Trade three goldfish for a koi. Looking into the pond she saw the fish she just had to get. So it appeared that she would have to try again.

No sweet little fishies.
Kestrel narrowed her eyes immediately, recognizing the challenge as what it was as she withdrew another dollar. Those sweet fish deserved a quiet, relaxing life, possibly rocked by bass, possibly now. Regardless, the DJ narrowed her eyes, and scowled, placing another dollar down before she moved to play again. Surely she'd win at least one fish. She could even buy supplies on the way home. It was a great plan! Flawless, supurb!....
Or at least sensible, and tyhat countyed.

Okay, so many the balloon darts weren't his game. What about the goldfish? He wasn't really a fish person, but a koi did look pretty cool. Brendan cracked his knuckles and tried the ball toss with....wow, he might as well not have even tried. Damn these carnie games and their duplicitous difficulty!
