Elsa was starting to get really, really worried about Mirrorspace.
Sure, it had been fine and dandy to go there once, but lately? Lately it seemed to be a whole lot of death and doom. That terrible labyrinth, the strange gauntlet they'd had to run last time, and now this. Now strange glowing mirrors and a room shaking itself apart.
It was a good thing, he figured, that Chione was there, because it meant that as soon as he stepped into the room cracking itself apart, he could run to her and her group.
"Holy s**t," he said when he got over there. "This is...sure a thing that's happening." He looked around, briefly. "Uh. Hey, I'm Elsa." He didn't know the names of most of these people, but that was fine, if his sister trusted them he was willing to give them a chance. Besides, he was pretty sure he recognized them from the last little Mirrorspace adventure.

Merkeb - Senshi of Wishes
Without his top-hat it took a few moments for Merkeb to spot her prince. Although, in hindsight, she probably should have just automatically looked for the center of the largest crowd; most, like her, would probably be looking to him for some sort of explanation.
Having just arrived a moment ago she had missed the excitement of the earlier rumbling. This time, however, she didn’t...Debris fell from the wall and ceiling around her. Dusty particles at first but then larger chunks like before broke from like before.
That, however, was not what startled a scream out of the Senshi of Wishes…
What started out as a light pressure between her shoulder blades, like the curious hand of someone trying to get her attention, soon became a more persistent push which forced Merkeb to turn around but it wasn’t another senshi that stood behind her. No, it was the surface of the mirror reaching out, or rather being pushed from the other side.
“Oh my god!” She jumped back, closer towards the crowd of other senshi. Her eyes wide as if she had seen something possessed. “I thought we were done with this!” Terror shook her voice as she retreated completely towards the other members of the Dark Mirror Court and the hell away from whatever it was that seemed to be trying to break through.
Asmodeus felt almost wrong stepping into Mirrorspace. She was...not sure she was supposed to be here, were she being honest. After all, she was something of a failure as a Dark Mirror, and she spent more time dodging her duties than doing them.
But the mirror called to her, and she felt utterly compelled to answer.
She hadn't been to Mirrorspace in two years, not since Remarque had brought her there to make her into a Senshi, but she was pretty sure that this was not right.
"Oh, hell," she breathed quietly, shaking her head. This was going to suck, she was sure of it.

From where he stood next to Avior the senshi of gorgon's nodded to Acubens' words. "Mmm, would think it would have faster reaction time than this...seemed to last time we were here." When he'd been hurt and he thought mirrorspace was falling apart around them. He really hoped this wouldn't be a repeat of that, he didn't think he could handle another case of mirrorspace seeming to fall apart all around them. "Seems to be sentient to a point though..."
As he trailed off he took note of what Remarque was saying and bobbed his head along to the others words. "yes...if it didn't want us with them it wouldn't have shown them to us. Not if it's sentient at all." And it really did seem like the place was in fact sentient, though how much was there for thought and personality?
As things seemed to rumble more, and pieces started falling, the senshi of gorgon's reached out and gripped at Avior's uniform and held on tightly. The eternal being the closest person to him. Holding tight with one hand the other slipped his own crystal into the sash about his waist. The green fabric bulging but keeping the crystal in place, thankfully. "I'm really not liking this...." He whispered for the other to hear, only Avior and Crocus close enough to hear him.
"It's trying to fall apart isn't it..." And just when he thought that was the only issue it turned out to not be, in fact it might be the least of the problems. Was something trying to break down the wall and get to them?! White light and the wall seemingly pushed in and making the room smaller...he didn't like this at all. "Avior...." Whispered as he stared, with wide eyes, at the wall like it might just break open and some monster leap forward to attack and kill them all...maybe that was what was going to happen?
"We should join the others..." He whispered to the other, hopeful almost. "So if something happens we aren't split up..." At least he hoped that would be the case, if anything did happen. As it was he was noticing another dark mirror senshi arriving, one he didn't know, and then another...he had seen them before or at least he thought he had. He didn't know them though...but then he heard a name - Elsa. Well, at least it was good to have a name in case he needed to scream it out later.

Elsa... Acubens knew that Chione had a brother, and this young man did look a great deal like her. A twin? Acubens opened her mouth to introduce herself as well, but in place of her voice, and terrible groan echoed through the room. She didn't even have time to feel her heart drop through the floor as the room began to quite literally explode. As a reflex, she threw her arms out and around Chione, trying to use whatever parts of her body she could to shield them from any potential shrapnel that might try and lodge itself into her.
Crocus.
Kuichi.
Where were they?
She searched the room wildly for him and when she finally found them she called out their names, unsure if he could even hear her over the din of the chaos around them. They needed to stay together. She couldn't let them out of her sight. Not again. They could do this (whatever this was), Acubens knew, but she wasn't about to let them do it alone. And she'd be damned if she was going to make the same mistakes as before but... if one of them got hurt, could they turn back? Would it be safe to stop? Would the risks be less to simply press on rather than sit and wait for something to take them?
In the end, she supposed, the answer was always the same.
If Acubens had to drag her family back into the light of day, then she would. Whether it be the way they came or the way that they were going, Acubens was going to do her best to make sure that everyone went home today.
She was pretty sure no one had gotten permission to die today.

There were very few things - three, to be exact - that tended to get on Ptolemaeus' nerves and being wet was one of them. Although he wasn't technically wet, the sensation of the cool room and the feeling of having jumped into water that had yet to leave them was putting him on edge. Otherwise he might have met Sinope's behavior with more patience. As things were, however, he preferred to leave him be because he wasn't sure he could have dealt with him properly just then.
The sight of Kiuchi's smile and his agreement with Ptolemy's words soothed the super senshi a bit, however, and he returned the smile with an enthusiastic one of his own. Before he could do or say anything else, however, the senshi of gorgons had spotted Crocus alongside another eternal, this one a guy. Ptolemaeus, noticing the blonde's wave, waved back with a cheerful nod. It was a shame it was only under such dire circumstances that they all seemed to be able to get together like this.
Speaking of getting together under dire circumstances...a new presence entered the room with an energy signature that seemed to rival Remarque's. Was this...another royal? Ptolemaeus had never seen her before, but he'd heard enough. This must have been the Dark Mirror Princess, Leto.
He watched her intensely, curious as to this other royal whom he'd never even seen since having been awoken himself. What did she plan to do now? He might have been wrong, but he'd been under the impression that Leto and Remarque had had very different viewpoints on certain things, so Ptolemy was uncertain as to how the situation was going to play out.
When the room began to split apart, Ptolemaeus' expression became deathly serious and he stared at the light surging through the cracks in the walls even as said walls began to crumble. His body was tense, but he made no move nor sound. Not yet - not until they knew what, exactly, had arrived.
Sinope hadn't exactly enjoyed being told to 'go sit quietly in the corner' like some little kid, but he didn't want to get caught up in all that sickening affection being passed around; not in the middle of this crisis. Some people just didn't how how to be practical or logical when it came to solving problems like the one they were facing now.
He stood off to one side, crossing his arms and avoiding peoples' gazes. When the eternal senshi, Avior, cast him a smile, he raised a hand in greeting, but that was all. He was in too foul a mood to be able to go up and talk to him. Besides, it appeared the senshi of walls had found himself several other conversation partners instead.
And just as Avior found others to keep him company, Sinope was startled to notice that Sadalsuud had joined his side.
"Oh...hey there, Sadalsuud," he said, casting her a half-hearted smile. "Sorry I didn't see you come up." His hazel eyes glanced at the group including Crocus and Kiuchi and then at the one with Chione and Acubens. He would have expected her to join either of their little crowds, not his own sulking self. She deserved better than that. "Yeah...I'm sure there's another way. I just worry about what we'll have to do to find it. Especially considering the last time."
Damn...he didn't want her having to stick around with him when she could have been enjoying the company of the others, but if she was staying for his sake...ugh, why did people have to be so kind to him?!
He knew what he would have to do to return that kindness. He didn't want to, but if he was going to be fair to her he had no other choice than to rejoin their little 'family'. At least she deserved to be a part of it even if he didn't. He took her hand and turned back toward Acubens where he had come.
"Do you want to meet up with Miss Velociraptors, Gorgons, and Saffron again?"
When the rumbling started, Sinope looked around wildly. He decided they couldn't wait any longer attempted to pull Sadalsuud with him toward Kiuchi and Crocus who were closer to where they were just then than Acubens. Although he disliked getting too attached to others, his cowardly, self-preservation instincts reminded him that there was strength in numbers and it would have been most logical to stick together regardless of his emotions.
"I'm Diadem..." She'd started to introduce herself, when Avior began to give his name to Laverna, but then another senshi had pulled him away (a bit rudely she thought. But she'd already seen the way this game was played by -some- people here, and only pursed her lips tightly as he was drawn off. He'd be back if he was so inclined, she supposed.... and then there were other things to worry about. She'd been trying to settle her nerves as more people arrived, some she had never even seen, like Leto, who startled her. The only royal she thought she could remember meeting was Remarque. She didn't realize they had one in reserve.
It was as though, she thought, some kind of critical mass had been reached. Just enough people and suddenly things were... shifting. She raised her hands nervously at the first clatter of things falling, backing up sharply to Laverna and adding, what was probably pointlessly 'Stay Clo..."
The comment died in her throat, hands raised still toward the bulge in the walls, but her eyes nervously jumping to all points as bright light started to come through the cracking corners. She didn't have enough prism for this. She could only protect from one side. If glass flew at them from all si...
She was not entirely ashamed that she almost... almost screamed when the entire room lurched like a dropping elevator, but she did drop her defensive stance and grab for Laverna's arm. If she had screamed a little... she figured it was covered by the fact that around them, others still seemed to be chatting almost calmly. What the hell passed for normal with some people?

Crocus was happy when Kiuchi came over to them, he hadn't known that he also knew Avior. He liked the idea of their little group expanding, the more the merrier in his mind. It was not missed on him that someone else had talked to Avior as well, he stepped back to looked behind Kiuchi and Avior to waved at the other two Senshi (Diadem and Laverna) in a bit of an apology. They were familiar to him, they had been at the last Mirrorspace adventure.
He had every intention to introduce himself as well, when the room shook and more cracks began to spread along the walls. Instinctively he spread his feet further apart so he could keep his balance. He didn't think they had time to worry about moving closer to Acubens at this point, whatever was out there terrorizing Mirrorspace was here now. He stood his ground close to Avior, glancing toward Kiuchi as well. When the room seemed to fall under them he had a terrible, sinking feeling. It felt like he was on a boat, during a storm. Only instead of just being worried about his boat, he was also concerned that some monster was going to pull them all under.
He had to be brave though, he didn't want Acubens to be worried about him since she wasn't right next to him this time. So he managed to secure his orb in his sash and held out his hands, ready to fight if he needed to. He noticed Sadalsuud and Sinope were close by as well, though the light that was pouring into the room now was making him squint his eyes, that would put them at a disadvantage for sure.

Laverna only answered Avior and Crocus with a nod before others seemed to flock around him. It made the young woman roll her eyes and turn her attention back to Diadem. "People here put introductions ahead of..."
She didn't get the words out before she felt the room shake. Years of walking on a balance beam allowed herself to brance for the shaking but nothing prepared her for the need to jump out of the falling rubble's way. Several pieces feel before her and Laverna had to backpedal away from it. "What the hell?" She called out, eyes flickering over to her prince.
But before she could call out, a white light slipped into the room and crossed her eyes. "Agh!" She snapped out looking away and trying to focus again. Her attention was grabbed by Diadem clinging to her arm. Laverna didn't fault the woman.
"Okay Mirrorspace" Laverna hissed, "This isn't funny...." She danced back again, keeping Diadem close. If anything, take the fools who seemed to think this was time for tea and not a Disney ride failing.

The first thing Avior felt was a hand gripping onto his uniform and it held on tight. Looking down, he realized it was Kiuchi, and he gave the hand a quick squeeze of comfort before letting it fall to his side again, looking around. He wasn't sure if the smaller senshi had picked the best person to cling to in the least, but he was there and Avior was going to do his best to protect them. To protect all of them if he could.
"Hello Diadem... He's right, we should stay together, though I'm sure we'll end up splitting up one way or another. It always happens, whether we like it or not. But atleast we can support one another." He was not a leader in the least, but he was the strongest one there.. That meant he had some sort of responsibility, right? As much as he too wanted to panic like he used to, he would not permit himself the luxury of doing so. Not now.
It seemed like there was a good size group of them in one area where Avior stood, and that certainly was good news. The more centralized they were, the better chance he had to get them behind his wall were the next big thing happen.
And of course, it did. The walls shook and bulged in places, and debris began to fall around them, Avior grabbed both Crocus and Kiuchi, the two standing closest to him, and guided them to stand behind him, away from the wall that was pushing closer and closer into the room. The wall pushed futher and futher into the room, and it the walls almost seemed to groan under it's strain.
"Laverna, Diadem, would you get behind me as well?" He asked, a sense of urgency in his voice but still not one to be impolite and demanding. "And anyone else who would like to, away from that bursting wall. I can use my own walls to protect us if anything happens to jump out, but... The entire room is shattering. If we fall again, does anyone have any magic that would allow for a softer landing? Or shields that can guard us from other directions? I can make a platform but I cannot say if my reaction time would be good enough."
Offer goes to all who wants to hide behind Avior's walls JUUUST in case. xD

Chione felt her heart stop for one terrible moment, and she swiveled her head around to greet her brother when the terrible noise she had heard got about four hundred times worse.
…The only good part about it was Acubens felt the need to protect her from whatever was happening, so there were warm arms thrown about her…and that was nice, but now she had no idea what was going on…though…it would be okay. They had survived the last nightmare that Mirrorspace had thrown at them, why would this be any difference?
She heard Acubens scream out for Kiuchi and Crocus and pulled away from the eternal senshi just slightly. “I’m okay, you don’t have to protect me so much. We’ll be fine. We’re together…so we’ll be fine.”
Chione honestly hoped that her words sounded braver than she felt.

Mithra smiled back at Sadalsuud and was just about to go and join the others to talk or at least try to get to know some of them when all of a sudden, another shake and loud noises kept her mouth shut from the greeting she was about to give.
It was freaky! There was definitely something in here besides all of the dark mirror senshi and she wasn't sure what to think about it. She had heard about youma and such, but could one get into the mirrorverse? She was still all so new to this that she wasn't quite sure what to make of all of it. Her eyes were caught by the walls seeming to well... look like there was something trying to break into whatever room they were in.
And suddenly she was blinded by flashes of light and knocked down a bit as the room lurched? Really, what was mirrorspace? She would have to learn more! But now was not the time! She barely heard another senshi talking about walls or something and she moved closer to the group. Out loud she said though, "Unfortunately, the only thing I have to contribute are some punches."
Whatever it was that was coming towards them, she felt slightly nervous and giddy about it. Personally, keeping herself alive had only been a priority when she had been living with her mother, but now that she had been on her own for a while and experienced the world a bit, she lived every day like it was her last and if some scary monster thing was going to come and attack them will by goodness she was going to fight the best she could!
"I have... " Diadem paused and tried to collect herself, dismissing the shake from her voice. "I have refractive magic. It might bounce some things back or away, but it's a narrow zone. It could cause friendly fire if pointed wrong. I don't think it will pad a thing..."
Where was the senshi of pillows when you needed one. Or air bags. Or... something else involving landing softly.

"It's okay" Sadalsuud said in answer toSinope'ssomewhat apology, in part because it was clear that the other had been distracted and in part because she didn't think an apology - somewhat or otherwise - was particularly needed.
For a moment she thought that she sawMerkebamongst the others gathered, but was distracted when the senshi with the colourful gloves (Mithra) returned her earlier smile with a smile of her own.
She turned her attention back to Sinope at his agreement at her comment about there perhaps being another way out as she admitted "I really, really hope that we don't have to do what we had to do last time."
Because whilst she had ended up with the light and mysterious white crystal, the circumstances leading up to the finding had had some seriously scary moments.
At Sinope's suggestion that they perhaps join up with either the group by the curly-haired senshi (Acubens) or the group byAvior, Sadalsuud nodded in agreement "Sure, but..."
Her voice trailed off at the sudden sound of rumbling, the sound sounding closer then it had been, as her green eyes turned to nervously stare at the walls and as such was unprepared as Sinope reached out to tug her in the direction of Avior,Kiuchiand the blond-haired senshi (Crocus).
She took a few stumbling steps forward, as another rumble shook the room - this one most definitely louder–
And then things started to go crazy as the fractures in the wall started to spread and a piece of rubble fell to the floor and just missed them.
She followed after Sinope as more pieces of rubble fell to the floor and Avior's voice called out telling them to get away from the walls - walls with cracks that appeared to be getting ever wider - and tried her best to keep her balance as she did so on a floor that suddenly seemed to be lurching.
Moved behind Avior the dark haired senshi of gorgon's kept his hold on the eternals clothing. His dark eyes finding Acubens, he knew she had to be worried about him. She knew him well enough, and she was protective, to know this was not the sort of thing he liked. Actually, he was almost tempted to point Avior to the other group and mention they should be joining - become one group. Instead the other was talking, asking a question, and he shook his head.
While the female senshi, Diadem, had mentioned her magic which was somewhat useful...though also a risk he wondered if it might not still come in handy. After some moments of silence he spoke up as well. "My magic is no help in this....all it does it make people sick..." Which was not something he figured they'd be needing in this situation. Maybe if something came into the room, intending to attack them, he could use it but as it was right now...nope.
"I think we're going to have to do everything without much magical help...aside from your walls - which might be really useful." Even if the other didn't use his magic...he felt a bit safer knowing Avior's magic could be really useful here. "We should all gather together though...." One group....it might be better, especially if something was going to come in after them all. It was when he saw Sadalsuud approaching along with Sinope that he held both his hands out towards them.
"This isn't nice....I don't like this..." But he was here and he would do whatever he could to help - he had to.
