Guild- Sabertooth | Rank- S-rank | Magic- Ice Devil Slayer, Ice-Make, Fire, & Sword

████████████████████████████████████████████████

Rin held his sword in front of him. His blue gaze focused on the Marivaldi brother he had just tackled. Something didn’t seem right about the guy. The way he moved, acted, and spoke was too automatic. Like it was pure instinct driving him. But that theory didn’t ring entirely true either. Whatever’s up with him, the Devil Slayer clenched his weapon tightly, I’m ready to take him on. Oblivious to Chloe’s sudden crush on him, he tried to determine what the noble’s next move might be. He wasn’t about to go easy on the guy, whether nobility or not. The time had come for them to be removed from power, and he’d do anything it took to make the idiots pay for what they’d done. As the male stood once more, Rin noticed something odd happening. Flesh and cloth alike peeled away from the brother. It floated on the wind until nothing was left, taking the man apart little by little. Rin’s face contorted in disgust. He’s a zombie?! What the hell?! He hadn’t expected the guy to disintegrate before his very eyes. It was a jarring occurrence, to say the least. And, as it turned out, one that tied to another event transpiring not far from him and Chloe.

Confused, the blue-haired teenager turned to where he’d heard the distinctive sounds of fighting before. The entity who looked similar to Kawa plunged his hand deep into the third brother’s heart, killing him instantly. Did he have somethin’ to do with this guy? He remembered a few specifics about dark arts. Things he overheard Hailey mention during one of her conversations. One of interesting note being the laws of necromancy. Could one son be dead and the other have brought him back to life? It made his head hurt to think about it. Doesn’t matter anyway, he glanced down at the pile of dust being blown away by the chilling wind. All that matters is that that’s two less idiots trying to hurt these people or Hailey. Rin blew out a breath. Wait...What about--?! His head jerked around to see where the other nobles had gone. The Mistress lay unconscious a few yards away thanks to a shot from Chloe’s perfume gun thingy while the last of the brothers struggled to maintain his grip on consciousness. The blonde servant continued to scream in pain on the ground. Things were pretty well wrapped up in terms of bad guys to fight. Reassuring if slightly annoying as well.

Kawa! Rin’s eyes bulged as realization dawned on him. When he’d looked at the scene before, he zeroed in on the man’s hand through the noble’s chest. After having time to process everything, the Devil Slayer comprehended the rest of what he witnessed. Kawa’s hand was in Gregori’s chest, yes, but it was Gregori’s knife in Kawa’s back that should’ve claimed his consideration first. Hailey was already at the Blue Pegasus mage’s side. Her Crustalli book summoned and performing its healing spell on him. “Y-yeah,” Rin bobbed his head, worried for the white-haired man. “We’ll get him, Hails. Once you’ve got him stable.” He moved into position while he spoke. His feet shuffled until he was on Kawa’s right side with Leo on the left. They would wait for the signal before jostling him needlessly. The journey back to town was going to be a long one. “But don’t think we’re not gonna talk about what you were gonna do. It’s just on hold for now,” and he meant it.

Leo’s technique worked flawlessly. The soldiers whom stayed their post were knocked out in an instant whereas those who feared the magic fled with haste. Only the Mistress, her servant, her sons were left to defend themselves against the mages. “Well done, Loke,” Mizuki utilized the male spirit’s nickname. Her highest form of praise for him. “Heh,” Leo smirked, “It was nothin’. Not like they were a big threat anyway.” Secretly, however, he felt pleased that his spell had done so well. His charge had not been forced to dirty her hands against these scum and their ilk. Although, their celebration was interrupted in due time. The pained cry of their friend reverberated across the field. The Eridani princess whipped around to peer at the source. Her heart dropped into her stomach upon finding the oddly fashioned Kawa distracted by Leo’s light, allowing for Gregori to stab him in the back. Her teal orbs bulged at the blood pouring from his wound. The Marivaldi son’s demise did little to assuage the guilt suddenly wrapping itself around her. Did I cause him to be harmed?! While she wished it not to be, the timing of circumstances was too compelling. “Sh*t,” the Celestial Spirit seemed to draw the same conclusion.

Fortunately, as it so happened, Rin had not managed to escape the field with Hailey. The purple-haired woman caught Kawa where he fell. His body limp in her arms as blood continued to seep out of him. Mizuki cast a worried, guilt-ridden glance at the pair. “I’m sorry. We didn’t expect Leo’s attack to cause anything like this. Is he—,” she could not bring herself to finish her thought. Despite her earlier state, Hailey moved with purpose and confidence as she entered straight into caring for Kawa. The Celestial Spirit and his charge watched in awestruck silence when she called forth one of her many books. It swiftly set to work healing the older male’s wounds. Mizuki hoped he would not carry permanent damage from her shortsightedness. She wished him to recover without issue. “I’ve got his left,” Leo’s voice pulled her back to events at hand. Her gaze remained locked on the stilled form of her guildmate while Leo positioned himself to help carry the unconscious mage. A small sense of relief filled her. If the Ace of Sabertooth deigned Kawa fit enough to move, then it meant he was stable and on the road to recovery. They merely needed to be careful in their travels so as not to jeopardize him.

“Is holding him by the arms in that manner the best of options?” She gazed down at his unnaturally pale form, skepticism written upon her features. Surely, there were other options available to them? Although, admittedly, having one of the men carry him by the shoulders and another by the legs would not improve matters in the least. “Perhaps we can fashion a stretcher out of something around here,” she offered in hopes of making her guildmate more secure and comfortable for the treacherous journey ahead of them. As she cast about in search of anything to aid them, her gaze fell on the lifeless form of Gregori. His presence angered her, though it served to remind her of his remaining family. Mizuki’s attention turned to seeking out the Mistress and family. One son could hardly stand while the third was nowhere to be found. A pile of dust swirling in the wind all that was left of him. The Mistress herself was sprawled on the ground, unconscious and unmoving. Completely oblivious to her fleeting power. The blonde servant writhed about a few feet away. “What should we do with them? We can’t let them go as they are.” It pained her to mention the nobles at this juncture. She wanted nothing more than to leave and seek help for Kawa. Yet her instincts recoiled against the idea of allowing the Mistress and hers to stay unbound and unsupervised.

XXXKawa found himself in an inescapable pit of darkness; all he could see was the pitch blackness of his own mind, while the only thing he could hear was the violent bursts of air that rushed into his pain-filled lungs. It stung like needles piercing through his throat and chest, but it almost felt euphoric, in a way. Within time, the needles would turn into feathers landing on his body, lulling him into a state of comfort coupled with a twinge of carnal desire to feel the pain he ached to feel. He had never pondered over such masochistic thoughts; traditionally, pain should be something that was undesired, maybe even feared. Kawa was never one to embrace such discomfort; as much as he tried to fight it, he wanted more, more of it. The tall man would let out a growl-like groan as his body shifted ever so slightly in Hailey's gentle hold. His own sound was what woke him up, causing the man to shoot up from his current position, only to have him fall back in exhaustion. The pain had subsided, but the desire to feel more of it continued to nag at him. He looked up to see the faint silhouette of someone hovering over him; while he couldn't quite make out who it was, the resent-filled voice and illuminating speckles of yellow and blue that stood out from the shadows allowed Kawa to determine who he was looking at: Beauty.

As Kawa attempted to tell Beauty to stop being so hard on herself and to thank Bravery, Grace and Passion for their devotion and friendship, the white-haired male would begin to fall back into darkness. His eyes fluttered shut and his body once again grew limp as he felt himself sinking into an inky pool, no, he saw it. Before him stood a towering figure who looked no different from him give or take the messy hair and southern Chainan attire. Next to him stood a woman with brunette hair; from behind, she looked to be an average Chainanese woman. However, when she turned around, Kawa could see the imperfections in her form: Millipedes, millipedes everywhere... The vision was enough to elicit a few whimpers from the man until they died down. From time to time, Kawa would slip back into reality before falling back in; it was as if he was fighting himself from being trapped in his own thoughts.

He could only hope the others weren't in this hell...

Saddened and gentle eyes would look at the resting face of Kawa, her spell healing his wounds inside and out. His sudden movement surpried Hailey but it didn't break her consintration on the spell. The halo above Kawa's head moving with him as he sat up before falling back into the gentle grasp of the Sabertooth Ace. The woman worried about her friend but also knew she could do nothing at the moment to help him, all she could do was heal his wound. "Kawa should be fine now. His back may hurt for a day or two seeing as I can do nothing about the pain but his wound is healed and won't reopen. He will be fine to move." Hailey would speak softly as the two other males got in position to take Kawa from her. This was as much help as she could give them it seemed, her dark emotions were eating away at her. "It's best we don't use anything from here. Considering how fithy and festering the town is it would be safer to carry him." The pruple haired woman would respond to Mizuki as she spoke, understanding all to well the want to help and protect someone. "It would probably be best for one of them to piggy back Kawa but..." the ace could only image how funny it would look for one of the guys to piggy back someone taller than them. "Let's let the guys pick how they carry him. Whatever they choose, whether to keep carrying him as is, change the position, or make something to carry him, it's best the desition be made quick and we get moving. There is no telling what the people were will do once they start gathering. As for the ones we specificlly dealt with." Hailey would pause, except for the cries of James the town had fallen silent. "We did not come to arrest them, it would look back for us if we did bind them. You might be a princess but you are not the princess of Fiore. If we do anything to them there will be people who rally around them crying out that a foreigner should not be handling criminals. They will call for them to be released on the grounds of it being unjust. We will leave them here, they won't come after us. Inform the Fiore Royal Famly about their crimes and what has happened here. Then let the King handle it, they are his people and his nobles after all. We have no authority to do anything to them without makeing outselves look bad. In addition we are mages who faught non-mages and even killed one. Even if there is understanding on why we did it we still have to face a trail for it. As much as I'm sure it will bother you to leave them as they are it' the better option we have. Plus if we tie them up it's possible that the townsfold will take that as an oprotunity to kill them. None of them will leave Cleming, they aren't going to flee. They have power here that they won't get anywhere else and all their riches are here as well." The Sabertooth Ace would state, her voice soft and sad. No anger rested in her tone or her features, just a sadness.

Once Kawa was removed from the Saint she would get up from her place, still holding her spell book. She would walk over to James who tried to crawl away from Hailey. He looked as if he was terrified of all of them, "Get away! I don't want to die!" to broken and tiered to run away from the approching ace. Hailey kneeled down before him and outstreached her hand, casting the same spell she used on Kawa to heal James as well. "Calm. I am only going to heal your hand. I can't promice it will work as well as it use to but it's better than it getting infected and that killing you." The halo would apear over James's head, it greatly contrasted the personality the blonde male had shown them. "We are not as cruel as you and Mistress Marivaldi. Despite your actions I will not leave here knowing that your hand is damaged and I could have helped. You might have been our foe but that doesn't mean we should let you suffer." Hailey would finish her spell only after James's hand was healed enough that he would no longer get infection, though the pain would remain in his hand. She did have one other spell book that she could have used on the brother Kawa had killed but there was no point in it, she would be giving part of her life up for the man to only turn around and try killing someone again. Heterochomatic eyes would gaze onto the lifeless body of the man before being redirected to the rest of the field. Turning away from the blonde male Hailey would begin to stand, not carrying that James had scrambled up to run away. There was no point in stopping any of them, it's not like they were willing to leave their riches and their power that had. The purple haired woman would rejoin the group once again, "Let's head home. I will give you all your promiced reward once we return to Oshibana." The ace had not forgotten the promise she had placed on the job notice, though she couldn't tell if those who showed up wanted the reward or just wanted to come because she place it up. In addition Hailey also wanted to avoid any more conversation about Cleming and her actions inside the walls of the mountains. She had much to be ashamed over, not only did they see her cry but all of them witnessed the ugliness of her home and her own moment of weakness.

Guild- Sabertooth | Rank- S-rank | Magic- Ice Devil Slayer, Ice-Make, Fire, & Sword

████████████████████████████████████████████████

The Ice Devil Slayer waited patiently for Hailey to finish casting her spell on Kawa. He recognized the book she’d summoned as one filled with spells capable of healing pretty much any manner of wound. He’s gonna be okay, he heaved a sigh of relief. Kawa would be sore, of course, very sore, but he was going to make it. His vibrant blue orbs glimpsed the fallen form of the Marivaldi brother. Which is more than can be said for that guy. Although Hailey might not approve of it, he was pleased to see the end of two of the nobles. To say that they deserved it would quite possibly be an understatement. Their one and only encounter with the Marivaldis certainly left a poor taste in his mouth. Rin held no doubt the youngest looking of the brothers could’ve, and would’ve, continued his dark path with sickening gusto. At least now he can’t hurt anyone anymore. He counted that as a victory. Although, Hailey did have a point. There would be repercussions for their actions in the town. Trials and depositions, interrogations and investigations were all in their not so distant future. Not that it mattered to him. Sure, he’d jump through the necessary hoops just so they could be done with it all, but he’d make sure he stayed true to the events and their actions. No point in thinking about that now, he shook himself from his thoughts.

His gaze drifted to Kawa’s unmoving form before tracking over to where Hailey knelt next to the blonde guy. She took time to heal him, despite his earlier actions and evil intentions. Rin wasn’t sure if he should be appalled or impressed by her actions. If it had been him, well, chances were the man might suffer from his injury for a long while. Then again, the Devil Slayer chewed on his lower lip, wouldn’t that make me as bad as them? That thought sent a shiver down his spine. Being cruel wasn’t something he ever wanted to be or become comfortable with. I’m not gonna stoop to their level, he shook his head. They’ll get what’s comin’ to them in the end. Hearing his friend’s somber voice, Rin gave a quick nod of understanding. This place held too much anxiety and darkness for his liking, and he imagined it was worse for the Ace. “Yeah, no offence Hails, but your hometown’s hospitality sucks,” he quipped, attempting to bring some levity to the situation. “I’m not even gonna ask for one of those things from the gift shop that says ‘I went to Cleming and all I got was this,’ and you know how much I love collecting those!” He feigned an exasperated huff. One which was obviously for show and held no true meaning. Catching Leo’s eye, the blue-haired teenager moved in tandem with the Spirit. Each took hold of one of the Blue Pegasus mage’s arms before slinging them over their respective shoulders, securing their hold on him so he wouldn’t slip and tumble. Unfortunately, Kawa’s feet still dragged the ground, yet this would have to do for now. “Let’s get outta here.” Rin waited for Hailey to lead the way from the hallowed grounds of the mass grave and out of the town. He and Leo followed closely behind, hoisting the unconscious mage between them as best they could. The journey ahead would be long and arduous, but it’d be a piece of cake compared to Cleming.

Mizuki exhaled a breath. Relief washed over her. She felt secure in the knowledge that her guildmate and friend would be all right. “That’s good,” she closed her eyes in silent gratitude. Her former manner of propriety and demureness significantly diminished. It was an attitude she enacted only amongst those whom traveled in the circles of nobles. An act she disliked having to perform in front of her friends. Until the Marivaldis, the princess hadn’t revealed her identity to anyone. Not because she was ashamed of it but, rather, she wanted others to judge her based on her skills and abilities. Too often had she encountered individuals who saw her as little more than the title she bore. Mizuki felt a pang of concern now that the action had settled. Would they be angered by her secret? Now isn’t the time for that, she chided herself. The time for self-doubt and worry would come later. Should the others wish it, she would provide answers to any questions they may have. At the moment, however, her focus needed to remain on their current state. Hailey’s wisdom floated on the air. “I suppose you’re right,” Mizuki sighed. She wasn’t thrilled to admit such things, but the Ace did speak truth. The Magic Council could very well not overlook an occurrence such as this. Too many people were involved. A noble family left in shambles. Yes, there was no doubt they would be questioned and tried for their actions. Again, though, that was a train of thought for another time. “Hmph,” she snorted bemusedly, “At least there is something that could be done sooner rather than later.” The Eridani princess grinned up at the taller, purple-haired woman. A knowing gleam lit her gaze. “While we were dealing with them, I asked Crux if he would go to their home and gather any evidence he could. He has already informed the Royal Family about the happenings here. So, that’s something. I doubt the King will let things continue like this any longer.” It was a small comfort to know the Marivaldi family would likely soon find themselves on the other side of the law. Unable to buy, threaten, or shush their way out of trouble dawning on the horizon.

Teal orbs lazily trailed Hailey’s movements. Her anxiousness to leave Cleming was tempered by the desire to aid. Mizuki studied her actions as a student might a teacher. She is far more gracious than he deserves, she noted. Of course, that would indeed be the point of the matter, wouldn’t it? To leave an enemy to suffer without raising a hand to help when one could give it was tantamount to cruelty and evil. They would be no better than the Mistress and her family if they were to do so. Thus, as much as it pained the teenager, she recognized it as a necessary kindness. Those on the side of good could not pick and choose whom merited help. It was a lesson in humility and strength. For it took far more strength to heal one who had wronged her than it did to harm him. Moments later, the older woman signaled their departure. Mizuki inclined her head in acknowledgement. Exhilaration to be leaving this demented town welled within her. “You don’t have to worry about the reward,” she spoke to Hailey, though her gaze fell to the two males carrying Kawa. She couldn’t suppress a wince at the uncomfortable position he was in, though she recognized the lack of options available. “I believe I found what it was I sought.” Perhaps more, if she were to be truthful. Monetary gain was no replacement for real life teachings. Pivoting, she hesitated where she stood until the others started walking. She soon fell into step alongside Hailey as the group slowly made their way out of the dispirited town and towards Oshibana.

She could never forgive herself if she hurt her subordinates and followers. At the same time, she would lack the restraint from going through with it. Her thanks to Rosa for donation which held off the thirst for a moment. Though, at the same time, it also fueled the desire for more. Emerging from the shadows, the woman gasped as if she were out of breath, immediately feeling the cold air upon her skin. So long as she was away from her guild, she didn't care where she was. And so...she let go. The woman stood still, finally still and quiet. But then a pool of blood would appear at her feet, as it quickly surrounded her in a large bubble. The bubble obscured anything that was happening within and remained still, aside from the faint pulse-like glowing. And then the bubble would burst, spreading the blood on the ground and nearby buildings. The woman within had changed, her appearance much different from her more reserved and refine look from earlier. The pupil of her scarlet red eyes becoming slits and the sclera becoming as black and shiny as obsidian. Her ears were as sharp and pronounced as her fangs. which were bare and glistening in the low light. This...was her true form. Her eyes glanced up at the sky, thankful for the absence of the sun. She then looked around to get a grasp of her surroundings and where she was; however, the smell was a dead give away. "Cleming? I didn't get far. Such a repugnant place. Most of it's inhabitants are tainted...except for..." The vampire grinned a sickening smile as she jumped and delicately landed on a nearby shack. A wrong step could send her collapsing in, though she wouldn't stay long. Evelyn had her sights on the center of town: it being lit up and glowing vibrant with life. There the people who lived "better lives" resided. Untainted and free of disease or malnourishment. There...she would begin her hunt.

BILL THE STOCK BROKER

XXXBill had concluded a rather successful day at the banking agency. His company secured a sum of over one million jewel, which everyone at the office happily pocketed into their already full pants and bags. With the day coming to a close, Bill could go home knowing that he would be a few thousand jewels richer. Perhaps he should take his wife, Chamberlain, to that opera she was talking about. Alas, he was tired, and would speak of this in the morning. With an umbrella tucked under his chubby arm, the large man waddled through the empty city square of Cleming. Odd, Cleming was a touch more active during this time, particularly during warm nights like these. Oh well, Bill was already approaching his front door, so there was no need to worry about others. All he cared to do was take a bath, each some steak, and go to bed. He set down his suit case and went into his emptier pocket (as the other was flooded with jewel secured with rubber bands) and pulled out a ringlet of keys, which he proceeded to fumble through to find his house key.

Before long, one did show up - a rather large and plump man making his way home. The sight of him put a sickening grin on the woman's face as she locked on to her target. She followed him all the way to his door, looming over him like an ominous shadow. When he struggled with his keys, she knew that was her moment! Quietly, she descended behind him, ogling his features. He was the perfect appetizer! "Good evening..." she spoke faintly, her shadow now covering his entire form.

BILL THE STOCK BROKER

XXXBill dropped his keys on his doormat and spun his large frame towards the direction of the voice. Bill didn't see or hear anyone coming towards the house, so this unfamiliar voice put him on edge. He saw a woman, no older than 30, facing him with a wild look in her eye. She was beautiful, beautiful enough for Bill to blush and fiddle with his jacket. "You're a married man, Bill... But still..." Bill was a short man, so his frame was blanketed by this woman's looming shadow. Though a touch intimidated and flustered by the woman's dominating beauty, Bill politely tilted his had forward and gave his best grin. "G'evening, milady. A young maiden like yourself shouldn't wander the city streets alone at night."

Ravenous eyes would greet the plump man whom she startled, the woman offering a playful smirk at her feat. His blush did not escape her notice, the blood rushing to his cheeks. His admiration of her beauty paled in comparison of her admiration of his appetizing form. How sweet, he was worried for her safety. Unfortunately… “Will you...keep me company then?” she asked, slowly approaching him. She placed her hands on his plush cheeks, leaning in close to him. “Thank you...I’ve just been...so...STARVED!” Without warning, her mouth would widen to an unnatural proportion as sharp glistening fangs would find the man’s neck. Before he could cry out, shadows would envelop them both, the woman snatching him down into its depths. As the vampire drank of his nourishing essence, she could taste it: the fear in his blood as it was slowly being robbed from him. But she couldn’t stop! Such a treat was made to be savored and he had so much! Evelyn...wanted all he had to offer and then some. Not even his cries in the shadows; cries that rang silent in this empty void. And though he may have tried to pry her off, he would find her grip like a vice and his strength slowly failing him. Soon...he would be nothing left...

BILL THE STOCK BROKER

XXXBill's cheeks grew darker the closer the fair maiden walked towards him. Bill felt his knees quiver as the fair lady placed her hands on his cheeks. "I-I'd be happy to oblige, but know I do have a wi-wife..." He had to be a good husband, even if it meant rejecting the advances of such a beautiful woman. Alas, infidelity would be the last of Bill's worries. He stood in a mixture of horror and amazement as he witnessed the beautiful woman reveal her fangs, which dug into his flesh like knives. Before Bill could yell for help, he and the strange woman had been enveloped in a thick darkness. Bill screamed by this point, clawing at the woman, begging her to release him, "I'll give you all the money I have! No, Chamberlain! No, please! I-I have children, no!!!" Tears stung his eyes and all Bill could go was choke on a mixture of saliva and blood, feeling his strength slip from him with each second. His life flashed before his eyes: His wedding with his beloved Chamberlain, the birth of their three children, all the money he's acquired from his job. Yes, he stole it all, but he'd give it all back if it meant he could be saved. Is this hat holy retribution felt like? Did he deserve this. "HELP ME, HELP MEEE!!!"

Once the man stopped squirming and she drank to the very last drop, he would be released to fall limp on the ground. "Ahhhh... Thank you so very much...for helping me. I won't let your sacrifice go in vain" she smirked. For now she would leave his body here in the shadows, thinking of a use for it later. The vampire would emerge from the darkness in a nearby alley, alone. The hunt was far from over. She craved so much blood and this town had a lot to give. And so Evelyn set out once again...

THE GANDER SISTERS

XXX"Emma! We shouldn't be out this late, what if one of the city guards sees us?" The youngest Gander sister, Nana, whined as she picked up her walking speed to catch up to her older sisters. All three sisters, aged between 21-24, decided to claim the night and venture around the city, away from the obligations of noblewomen. "Mother and father will be crossed!" Nana added, slowing down to catch her breath. Her other sister, Madison, turned to Nana. She placed her hands on her hips and looked at her younger sister disapprovingly, "Well, if you care to mope around like that, you know how to get back home. Hmph!" the girls' eldest sister, Karol, watched her younger sisters bicker. She drowned out their arguing long ago, she was too drunk to care. Ah, the feeling of alcohol burning your insides, how taboo, how liberating! The drunk older sister walked further, leaving her two sisters behind before Madison and Nana caught up to her. "Ah, you're a touch too drunk, sister, perhaps we should wait until you sober up?" Madison asked, playing with the hem of her skirt. Nana whimpered, looking around for any guards, "Maybe to an alley or something, so that no one spots us." Nana whispered, to which her sisters agreed. So, the three beautiful sisters made their way to the nearest alley, only to see another woman, a blonde, emerge from the alley. That was when Karol finally spoke up, "Oh, a street worker: I didn't think they were legal..." Nana gasped, Madison chuckled. Nana gently hit her older sister's shoulder, "How rude! I apologize, miss. My sister is inebriated. Are you alright?" She took a few steps close to the blonde, her body shaking in anxiety, though her face gave off a welcoming, kind presence.

Evelyn didn't get far before three women approached her with reckless abandon. Well if they were just coming to her, lining themselves up to offer their blood, that was fine by her. However, the rude one who commented on her appearance reeked of alcohol which made her undesirable by the vampire's standards. No mater, she could still take from the other two...that is, until one of them approached her, apologizing with a smile. This girl...vaguely reminded her of Rosa... What would Rosa say if she knew what she was doing? And yet, Evelyn would push her aside gently knocking her to the ground. Instead, she would lunge at the remaining woman, grabbing her by the waist as she ran straight for the wall behind her. Instead of running into the wall, they would enter the shadows again. Here, the bloodsucker wasted no time sinking her fangs into her jugular vein and partaking of her blood as well. She just needed the blood...then she would be fine.

THE GANDER SISTERS

XXXNana and Karol watched as their sister was dragged into a shadowy hole with the strange woman. Quickly, Nana scrambled to her feet, calling out to Madison. Alas, she was gone to gods knew where. It was when that Karol screamed, drunkenly throwing her bottle to the very wall her sister had disappeared into. This awoken a few of the towns people, who turned to their windows and yelled at the drunkard to keep quiet. Nana stood in horror before taking his sister by the arm, and dragging her to the nearest guard house. In the meantime, Madison was doing everything to get herself out of this situation. She felt her life slip away in the woman's grasp, her blood slowly draining from her body...

THE WOLVES PACK

XXXA group of seven lads were making their way to their university after a jolly good night of drinking and courting fair maidens. One man, Bastian, was happily singing one of his beloved bar anthems, which provoked the others to sing along. However, their singing had been interrupted when two young women, beautiful brunettes, were running through the city square. One of the man, Leo, grabbed the taller girl by the arm, dragging her to him. "Oi, where yah goin'?" Bastian joined in, grabbing the shorter one by the waist and bringing her close to him. "Yeah, don't you know what little girls shouldn't be running around by their lonesome?" Another man, Charles, joined in, "Yeah, we'll take care of you, good care of you." That was when Charles ripped the taller, drunken woman's top open. The shorter girl screamed, trying to break free from Bastian's grasp, "NO! SHE'LL GET US ALL, STOP!!!" The taller woman scratched Leo, but in turn she received a quick slap to the cheek. "You cheeky b***h, don't you know who I am?!"

The poor girl would be tenderly shushed and rocked as her life was drained from her. That warmth and color flushed from her face and down Evelyn's throat as vibrant red blood, further quenching her thirst. Leaving the limp corpse of the woman beside her previous victim, she licked her lips or the crimson residue of her meal. Now to see what else this town had to offer... As she rose from the shadows, standing on the rooftops once more, scarlet glowing eyes would scan the city. From above, she would spot the two girls she allowed to flee, but...what was this? They were being preyed on by a group of men now who also appeared to be inebriated. Alcohol in the blood made it taste...funny. However, watching these men forcing themselves on the women...irked her. For them, she felt like making an exception. Making her way to ground level through the shadows, the woman slowly approached the group, excitement swelling in the chest. Seven heads, each of them large men in their own right with plenty of blood for her to ingest. The blonde refrained from making too much of a scene, but would speak to the man who was scratched. "Who are you, exactly?" Evelyn asked with a tilt of her head.
