    ↳ Raiment: Bone Manipulation
        This raiment gives its user the ability to control bones, either living or dead, and no matter from which creature they come from, including human, as long as it is within their range of control. The user is able to manipulate the bones telekinetically to do whatever she wishes them to; thus she can use bones as tools or contract weapons. The effort required to make them depends on the complexity of the tool or weapon and depending on the type of tool or weapon and its stability on its own, little to no effort is required to maintain them once they are made. The user is also able to sense any bones surrounding her within her range of control and ‘summon’ them to use them.

        One weakness that is inherent with this raiment is that while bones are generally quite strong, the toughness of these tools and weapons depend on what they are used against, and in the case of multi-bone tools and weapons, the joints where two bones are linked could be used as weak links. As such, their effectiveness depends on the skill of the user as well as what material they are used against. As actively controlling bones required concentration, effort and energy, the control can be broken if the user is sufficiently distracted or shocked. Overextending themselves when using the raiment can lead to the user suffering from, in order of severeness, fatigue, lethargy, headaches and in the most extreme cases, nosebleeds and unconsciousness.


    ↳ Stat Growth:
        ↳ Power: This stat determines the maximum volume of bones that can be controlled at a given time by the user.

                1 - The user can control the amount of bones equating to about half a human skeleton or a similar volume of bones.
                2 - The user can control the volume of bones equating to 1 human skeleton, although they cannot control living bones.
                3 - The user can control up to 2 human skeletons.
                4 - The user can control up to 3 human skeletons.
                5 - The user can control up to 6 human skeletons and, under extreme circumstances, can exhibit some control over living bones although this would use up most of the user’s power.
                6 - The user can control up to 10 human skeletons or, with more effort, control living bones of an individual just enough to resist the person’s movements and stop them.
                7 - The user can control up to 15 human skeletons or either control living bones to stop the movement of three individuals or with more effort, control the movement of one person or creature.
                8 - The user can control up to 20 human skeletons, stop the movements of six individuals or control the movements of two people.
                9 - The user can control up to 25 human skeletons, stop the movements of 10 individuals or control 5 people.


        ↳ Control: This stat determines for how long the user can maintain continuous control over bones before they are forced to stop as well as the recovery time needed to return to their normal strength. During the recovery time, the user would feel fatigued and lethargic and using the raiment during this recovery period would lead to headaches (if used one or twice) or nosebleeds to unconsciousness (if used more).

                1 - The user can maintain control for 1 minute with a recovery time of 15 minutes.
                2 - The user can maintain control for 3 minutes with a recovery time of 10 minutes.
                3 - The user can maintain control for 5 minutes with a recovery time of 10 minutes.
                4 - The user can maintain control for 7 minutes with a recovery time of 20 minutes.
                5 - The user can maintain control for 10 minutes with a recovery time of 20 minutes. Control over living bones can only be maintained for 2 minutes with 40 minutes recovery time.
                6 - The user can maintain control for 15 minutes with a recovery time of 30 minutes. Control over living bones can only be maintained for 5 minutes.
                7 - The user can maintain control for 20 minutes with a recovery time of 35 minutes. Living bones can be stopped for 10 minutes or controlled for 5 minutes.
                8 - The user can maintain control for 30 minutes with a recovery time of 30 minutes. Living bones can be stopped for 20 minutes or controlled for 10 minutes.
                9 - The user can maintain control for an hour with a recovery time of 25 minutes. Living bones can be stopped for 30 minutes or controlled for 15 minutes.


        ↳ Range: This stat determines the user’s maximum range of control around themselves at a current level. As long as the bones are within this range, the user can sense and control them but if they fall outside this range, the user loses control of them.

                1 - The maximum radius of control around the user is 1 metre.
                2 - The maximum radius of control around the user is 2 metres.
                3 - The maximum radius of control around the user is 3 metres.
                4 - The maximum radius of control around the user is 4 metres.
                5 - The maximum radius of control around the user is 5 metres.
                6 - The maximum radius of control around the user is 6 metres.
                7 - The maximum radius of control around the user is 8 metres.
                8 - The maximum radius of control around the user is 10 metres.
                9 - The maximum radius of control around the user is 12.5 metres.

                        ↳ Raiment: Illusion Casting
                            This raiment gives the user the ability to cast realistic illusions that can fool the victim’s sense, including vision, hearing, and even smell and touch, depending on the user’s power and as long as the victim is within the user’s range. The illusions can target more than one person, although the more complex the illusion (i.e. the more senses it affects), the less people can be targeted due to the strain it causes.

                            The user can also create illusions that are anchored to a location rather than people as long as it is within the user's range, allowing them to create traps that cause anyone who walks into the affected area to get stuck within the illusion until they break out of it or are released as there is a limit to how long these illusions last.

                            The illusions are not foolproof; once the victims realise they are within an illusion, it is possible for them to break out of it themselves. However, in order to break out of the illusion on their own, the target must first become aware of the illusion (which depends on the target’ Intelligence stat). Once they are aware, the target can roll a d10 die and if the number rolled is equal to or less than the target’s physical Technique stat, then the illusion is broken. This can be done for every post the target is trapped within the illusion. However, if the user cannot break out on their own, then a strong external stimulus like sharp pain can draw the target out of it.

                            The illusions don’t last forever either; once the user reaches their limit, they will suffer from exhaustion and headaches, but exceeding their limits can lead to migraines, passing out and could even leave the user in a coma for a period of time due to the mental strain.


                        ↳ Stat Growth:
                            ↳ Power: This stat determines the maximum number of people that can be affected and how complex the illusions can be at a given level. The user can maintain more than one illusion at a time but the total number of people affected cannot exceed the maximum. The numbers given in this stat are for illusions that affect one sense only, such as purely visual illusions; if the illusion affects more than one sense, the total number of people that can be affected decreases by 25% for every additional sense (if the result is not a whole number, it is rounded down).

                                    1 - The user can target 1 person only and can only create illusions that target 1 sense.
                                    2 - The user can target 3 people and can create illusions that target 2 senses.
                                    3 - The user can target 7 people and can create illusions that target 3 senses.
                                    4 - The user can target 12 people and can create illusions that target 4 senses.
                                    5 - The user can target 18 people and can create illusions that target 4 senses. They can also create a location anchored illusion that target 1 sense.
                                    6 - The user can target 25 people and can create illusions that target 4 senses. They can also create a location anchored illusion that target 2 senses.
                                    7 - The user can target 30 people and can create illusions that target 4 senses. They can also create a location anchored illusion that target 3 senses.
                                    8 - The user can target 40 people and can create illusions that target 4 senses. They can also create a location anchored illusion that target 4 senses.
                                    9 - The user can target 60 people and can create illusions that target 4 senses. They can also create 3 location anchored illusions that target 4 senses.


                            ↳ Control: This stat determines the maximum amount of time the user can maintain illusions at a given level. In the case of location anchored illusions, this limit is the amount of time the illusion can be maintained for from the moment it is created regardless of whether people are trapped within the illusion or not. This time limit remains constant no matter the complexity of the illusions. Once this time limit has been reached, the user must refrain from casting any illusions during the recovery period as not only would it double the recovery period but it can also lead to more dire consequences for the user as described.

                                    1 - The user can maintain illusions for 3 minutes with a recovery time of 15 minutes. Location anchored illusions can be maintained for 1 minute.
                                    2 - The user can maintain illusions for 5 minutes with a recovery time of 15 minutes. Location anchored illusions can be maintained for 2 minutes.
                                    3 - The user can maintain illusions for 10 minutes with a recovery time of 20 minutes. Location anchored illusions can be maintained for 5 minutes.
                                    4 - The user can maintain illusions for 15 minutes with a recovery time of 20 minutes. Location anchored illusions can be maintained for 7 minutes.
                                    5 - The user can maintain illusions for 20 minutes with a recovery time of 25 minutes. Location anchored illusions can be maintained for 10 minutes.
                                    6 - The user can maintain illusions for 30 minutes with a recovery time of 30 minutes. Location anchored illusions can be maintained for 15 minutes.

In order to break the illusion on their own, the target must first become aware of the illusion, which depends on their Intelligence stat.

                                    1 - A minimum Intelligence stat of 1 is required for the target to become aware.
                                    2 - A minimum Intelligence stat of 2 is required for the target to become aware.
                                    3 - A minimum Intelligence stat of 3 is required for the target to become aware.
                                    4 - A minimum Intelligence stat of 4 is required for the target to become aware.
                                    5 - A minimum Intelligence stat of 5 is required for the target to become aware.

                            Ever since she was nine, Reyna’s goal was to become the Minister for Magic to help improve the lives of her loved ones. Excluding that, Reyna is a naturally competitive person and she loves to be the best, whether it was in academics or in sports, it doesn’t matter, and she always keeps high standards for herself. Whenever she has a goal, she’s determined to complete it to the absolute best of her ability.

                            While Reyna has no trouble talking to people and making acquaintances, she doesn’t make close friends easily. She enjoys spending time with her friends and she’s very cheerful and talkative with them, but if she doesn’t know them well, she could make small talk, but she would much rather do other things. That is why unless she is with friends, she hates big social events because she would get bored and lonely quite easily.

                            Reyna loves learning and has a thirst for knowledge and she would read and listen to anything as long as the subject matter is interesting.                             Reyna is extremely loyal to people who've earned it (and those she's close to). She is fiercely protective of them and would do her best to support them.                             Reyna is quite observant and she's very good at noticing small changes and details, especially in people’s behaviour, and is very good at recognizing patterns and interpreting them. It's why she's good at puzzles and figuring out if people are lying or have hidden motivations and she's not above using this skill to turn things in her favour if she has to, but she doesn't like to do this at the expense of others.

                    CHILDHOOD:
                        Reyna was born the daughter of Jonathan Whyte and Evelyn Jacobs-Whyte during winter. She was raised in muggle London due to her mother’s long-term auror assignment there and to stay close to her paternal grandparents but travelled to the magical community often because of her father’s job and to visit her maternal grandparents. Her parents did not want her isolated from the muggle world she lived in or the magical world that she was born into and so Reyna attended a muggle school as a child while her parents took care of whatever magical education she needed at home. Because of this, Reyna grew up loving muggle science and technology as well as magical studies and theories. This delighted her family, especially her grandparents, who took every opportunity to gift her with books and puzzles, which Reyna adored.

                        Family was important in the their household and Jonathan and Evelyn believed that every child had to experience the outdoors so they often went out on picnics in the park and spent a lot of time outdoors, which helped develop Reyna's love of nature. They also visited Jonathan and Evelyn's sibling and their children - Reyna's cousins - occasionally but most of the time, Reyna was used to being the only child in the house and being doted on by her parents.

                        While at school, she became best friends with her classmate, a muggle boy named Tony. Because of his small size and timid nature, he was bullied frequently and Reyna decided that as his best friend, defending him was her duty, and got into trouble multiple times because of the fights she caused. However, that didn’t stop the bullying; when they were nine, some older students took advantage of Reyna’s absence and beat up Tony and tore up his books. After coming back and noticing Tony’s bruises and tears, a furious Reyna caused a massive fight and was suspended from school. Seething at the injustice, she ranted about the unfairness to her parents who disapproved of her use of violence even though they sympathized and told her that causing fights was against the rules and other than complain to teachers, there was nothing that could be done against the bullying. Frustrated, Reyna said that the rules were unfair and that she would change them. Her father jokingly told her that only the Prime Minister could change the rules and Reyna said that she would become the Prime Minister and do so. Amused, her mother told her that she couldn’t become the Prime Minister because she was a witch, she could only become the Minister for Magic and that took a lot of hard work and determination. Even though this was said as a joke, Reyna took the words to heart.

                    SCHOOL YEARS:
                        Reyna’s first year at Hogwarts had a shaky start. She’d made friends with Ivar, Glynn and Arnie on her way to the school where she’d been sorted into Slytherin. She got into an argument with her housemate and fellow first-year, Vitomir Nicoli, and ended up losing points on her first night; she did apologise to him later and formed a truce. The rest of the year was alright, other than the argument during her first History of Magic lesson and her frequent mishaps in Potions. She joined the quidditch team as a reserve beater as well as the Fencing club, became friends with her fellow teammates Oliver and Raymond, and helped Richard (she hoped) with his problem regarding his family. She did however explore the castle with Tiernan, Vitomir, Oliver, Ivar, Glynn and Arnie, before getting ambushed by Peeves. Reyna swore to get back at the poltergeist.

                        The summer before her second year, Rey's family found that her irritating cousin Peter had magic, to her dismay and she had to spend most of her time trying to get him acquainted with the magical world, leading to her having a long summer, only barely salvaged by the birth of her younger sister. Her second year didn't start better either; at the platform, while meeting up with her friends, they unintentionally crowding Glynn and causing him to panic and bolt, which worried her. Rey continued to go to Quidditch and fencing practice, even joining the Dueling club. Later in the year, Rey managed to convince most her friends to explore the Forbidden Forest, which ended in a disaster; Glynn tried get himself eaten by an acromantula that they tried to fight off before being rescued by Professor Hill, who gave them all detention. Rey spent the rest of the year avoiding her friends as it was her stupidly reckless and irresponsible decision almost got them killed; she vowed to become a better and more responsible friend.

                        After being grounded for the rest of the summer for her stunt, Rey was nervous about coming back to Hogwarts for her third year, but thankfully, most of her friends treated her the same, with the exception of Ivar, who ignored her. However, Glynn had become even more closed off this year and no matter how much they asked, he avoided and skirted around the topic, to their frustration. During fall, Oliver met up with her, confessing that he'd kissed Arnie and asked her for help regarding his feelings. Rey naively suggested he might have been confused by the kiss and offered to kiss him to help put his feelings in perspective; it seemed to have helped him somewhat, but Rey found herself blushing and feeling off around her best friend. The rest of the year was more stressful as Rey found that she'd taken too many classes and had to do a lot of work to keep up; especially since Tristan, her captain, quit the Quidditch team, causing her to substitute midway of the season. And finally, near the end of the year, Rey attempted to apologise to Ivar for what she did last year, feeling guilty, which he accepted and they agreed to move on, much to her relief.

                        Rey found the summer before her fourth year much better than the last; Peter spent less time at their home, she wasn't grounded anymore, and she spent time at Ivar's house. The school year was more stressful though, and even though she was delighted to have become a starting beater for her Quidditch team, it didn't help. At least they won both the House and Quidditch cup that year to make up for their horrendous last season. By the end of the year, Rey decided to drop a couple of her classes in order to work harder and focus on the rest, which reduced some of her stress. She did hear rumours of her cousin getting beaten up, but she ignored his existence, like usual.

                        Rey's next year started out well, having been surprised (and delighted) by the news that she'd been chosen as a Prefect. Despite resolving to bury herself in books and study for her OWLs, she continued her extracurricular activities, winning the Quidditch cup once more, and she was nominated as the next captain and co-captain of the Dueling and Fencing clubs. She also spent some time with her classmate, Gavin Selwyn, and despite not talking to him before, she really enjoyed his company.

                        Her sixth year was a mess. Not schoolwise, Rey's classes were fine and she didn't have troubles with her extra-curriculars despite leading and helping with a couple. Glynn was having troubles, Arnie got pregnant with Oliver as the father and worst of all, her own dad was killed and she hadn't even seen him since the winter holidays, she didn't even get to say goodbye. She almost didn't want to go back home to deal with it all, but she couldn't leave her mum and sister alone.

                        Rey's seventh year seemed to pass by in the blink of an eye. To her delight, she'd been nominated as Head Girl with Ivar as the Head Boy. Her duties and with her studies kept her incredibly busy and she relished the chance to relax in her extra-curriculars. But the year ended better than she expected, especially since Glynn seemed to be getting better and Tiernan getting engaged.

                    ADULTHOOD:
                        After graduating, Rey was accepted into the auror program as a trainee, something she'd been working towards. Her mother objected to this, stating that the job had too many risks and not just to herself, and two of them argued, resulting in their worst fight that either of them could remember. They didn't speak to each other for a couple of weeks before Eve relented.

                                          • Many targeted cancer therapies have been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat specific types of cancer. Others are being studied in clinical trials (research studies with people), and many more are in preclinical testing (research studies with animals).

                                            How are targets for targeted cancer therapies identified?
                                            The development of targeted therapies requires the identification of good targets—that is, targets that play a key role in cancer cell growth and survival. (It is for this reason that targeted therapies are sometimes referred to as the product of "rational" drug design.)

                                            One approach to identify potential targets is to compare the amounts of individual proteins in cancer cells with those in normal cells. Proteins that are present in cancer cells but not normal cells or that are more abundant in cancer cells would be potential targets, especially if they are known to be involved in cell growth or survival. An example of such a differentially expressed target is the human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 protein (HER-2). HER-2 is expressed at high levels on the surface of some cancer cells. Several targeted therapies are directed against HER-2, including trastuzumab (Herceptin®), which is approved to treat certain breast and stomach cancers that overexpress HER-2.

                                            Another approach to identify potential targets is to determine whether cancer cells produce mutant (altered) proteins that drive cancer progression. For example, the cell growth signaling protein BRAF is present in an altered form (known as BRAF V600E) in many melanomas. Vemurafenib (Zelboraf®) targets this mutant form of the BRAF protein and is approved to treat patients with inoperable or metastatic melanoma that contains this altered BRAF protein.

                                            Researchers also look for abnormalities in chromosomes that are present in cancer cells but not in normal cells. Sometimes these chromosome abnormalities result in the creation of a fusion gene (a gene that incorporates parts of two different genes) whose product, called a fusion protein, may drive cancer development. Such fusion proteins are potential targets for targeted cancer therapies. For example, imatinib mesylate (Gleevec®) targets the BCR-ABL fusion protein, which is made from pieces of two genes that get joined together in some leukemia cells and promotes the growth of leukemic cells.

                                            How are targeted therapies developed?
                                            Once a candidate target has been identified, the next step is to develop a therapy that affects the target in a way that interferes with its ability to promote cancer cell growth or survival. For example, a targeted therapy could reduce the activity of the target or prevent it from binding to a receptor that it normally activates, among other possible mechanisms.

                                            Most targeted therapies are either small molecules or monoclonal antibodies. Small-molecule compounds are typically developed for targets that are located inside the cell because such agents are able to enter cells relatively easily. Monoclonal antibodies are relatively large and generally cannot enter cells, so they are used only for targets that are outside cells or on the cell surface.

                                            Candidate small molecules are usually identified in what are known as "high-throughput screens," in which the effects of thousands of test compounds on a specific target protein are examined. Compounds that affect the target (sometimes called "lead compounds" are then chemically modified to produce numerous closely related versions of the lead compound. These related compounds are then tested to determine which are most effective and have the fewest effects on nontarget molecules.
