The Whyte family is a middle-class muggle family who own a bookstore near downtown London, an entirely unremarkable family if their youngest son, Jonathan hadn't turned out to be a wizard. This small and unassuming family consists of Jonathan and his family, as well as his nephew and niece who also turned out to have magic. Tragically, in 2039, Jonathan was killed, leaving his wife and children.

Evelyn was born in Wiltshire to Theodore and Susan Jacobs, two Aurors, and would become the oldest of their three children. While her parents' worked in shifts to ensure that the children were never alone, it still strained the family and it was rare for the Jacobs to spend time together, and so Eve and her siblings, Meredith and Eli, grew to cherish whatever family time they could squeeze in. Because she was the oldest, Eve was responsible for taking care of her siblings and while she sometimes resented it, she did so dutifully and the three spent a lot of time playing together in their big house or in the gardens. When Eve's Hogwarts letter came, she was elated because while she loved her family, she longed to spend some time alone and away from them because rarely were they out of each other's company.
SCHOOL YEARS:
Eve's Hogwarts life was mostly uneventful. Being born after the final defeat of Voldemort meant that she grew up and enjoyed a time of peace. She was sorted in Slytherin and excelled in her studies, later even playing as a Chaser for her house's Quidditch team. And while she made many friends she still missed her family dearly. Eve also tried to stay away from the many people who still believed in the superiority of purebloods; such beliefs and ideologies were discouraged by her parents and she considered it stupid. In her fifth year, she was made a prefect and it was during this year that she decided on her future. She initially had no idea what she was going to do after Hogwarts, but when her mother was badly injured in an Auror raid during the winter holidays, she was terrified. On visiting her mother in St. Mungo's and seeing how badly her mother suffered and how guilty her father was for not preventing his wife from getting injured, she vowed to become and Auror and prevent something like that from happening again. Her mother later retired from the Auror corps because of a disability caused by her injuries, which only solidified her dream. She studied even harder and got excellent grades in her OWLS, and was later even appointed as the captain of Slytherin's Quidditch team as well as Head Girl, before graduating with flying colours.
ADULTHOOD:
After graduating, she was selected for the Auror program and went through the vigorous training before finally becoming a fully-fledged Auror. She rose through the ranks quickly and became known for her tenacity and skill. It was during this time she met Jonathan Whyte. She had seen him at Hogwarts but because he was two years below her and in a different house, they never interacted outside Prefect meetings and Quidditch matches. She met him at a pub when he decided to start talking to her and while she found it annoying at first, she warmed up to him quickly and they soon became close friends. After spending so much time in each other's company, Eve found herself falling for him and to her great joy, he loved her too. With their families' blessing, they got married and had Reyna a year later. While they were all happy together, they still wished to have another child but unfortunately, Eve couldn't conceive again. Discouraged, they gave up and focused more on Reyna, but even after years, they haven't given up hope. Then one day, Eve felt exceptionally sick and tired and after consulting with a physician, she was delighted to hear that she was pregnant again, even though it caused most people around her to treat her like a fragile flower. She gave birth to a baby girl, Gemma in late summer
Until Rey was in her sixth year and Gemma was 6, things were fine, until one day when Eve and Jon both took a day off to spend time together. After witnessing a suspicious individual who bolted after a few questions. Eve chased after them but didn't realise that Jon followed after her and the suspect shot a curse at him. Eve stayed with him until back up arrived but after a night at St. Mungo's he passed away, leaving Eve broken-hearted and guilty, believing that his death was her fault and that she failed to protect him when she should have. She was left taking care of Gemma alone with some help from Jon's parents until Rey came back, although they were hard-hit by the loss too.
Eve was incredibly happy and proud when Rey graduated, but she once she heard that her daughter was accepted into the auror program as a trainee, she tried her absolute best to dissuade her, not wanting Rey to go through what she did when once, she would've been proud and encouraging her. Rey didn't stand for this and after a horrible fight that had the two ignoring each other for a bit, Eve grudgingly backed down, even though her worries remained. To her relief, Gem eschewed working in the ministry altogether in favour of working as a writer.

Reyna was born the daughter of Jonathan Whyte and Evelyn Jacobs-Whyte during winter. She was raised in muggle London due to her mother’s long-term auror assignment there and to stay close to her paternal grandparents but travelled to the magical community often because of her father’s job and to visit her maternal grandparents. Her parents did not want her isolated from the muggle world she lived in or the magical world that she was born into and so Reyna attended a muggle school as a child while her parents took care of whatever magical education she needed at home. Because of this, Reyna grew up loving muggle science and technology as well as magical studies and theories. This delighted her family, especially her grandparents, who took every opportunity to gift her with books and puzzles, which Reyna adored.
Family was important in the their household and Jonathan and Evelyn believed that every child had to experience the outdoors so they often went out on picnics in the park and spent a lot of time outdoors, which helped develop Reyna's love of nature. They also visited Jonathan and Evelyn's sibling and their children - Reyna's cousins - occasionally but most of the time, Reyna was used to being the only child in the house and being doted on by her parents.
While at school, she became best friends with her classmate, a muggle boy named Tony. Because of his small size and timid nature, he was bullied frequently and Reyna decided that as his best friend, defending him was her duty, and got into trouble multiple times because of the fights she caused. However, that didn’t stop the bullying; when they were nine, some older students took advantage of Reyna’s absence and beat up Tony and tore up his books. After coming back and noticing Tony’s bruises and tears, a furious Reyna caused a massive fight and was suspended from school. Seething at the injustice, she ranted about the unfairness to her parents who disapproved of her use of violence even though they sympathized and told her that causing fights was against the rules and other than complain to teachers, there was nothing that could be done against the bullying. Frustrated, Reyna said that the rules were unfair and that she would change them. Her father jokingly told her that only the Prime Minister could change the rules and Reyna said that she would become the Prime Minister and do so. Amused, her mother told her that she couldn’t become the Prime Minister because she was a witch, she could only become the Minister for Magic and that took a lot of hard work and determination. Even though this was said as a joke, Reyna took the words to heart.
SCHOOL YEARS:
Reyna’s first year at Hogwarts had a shaky start. She’d made friends with Ivar, Glynn and Arnie on her way to the school where she’d been sorted into Slytherin. She got into an argument with her housemate and fellow first-year, Vitomir Nicoli, and ended up losing points on her first night; she did apologise to him later and formed a truce. The rest of the year was alright, other than the argument during her first History of Magic lesson and her frequent mishaps in Potions. She joined the quidditch team as a reserve beater as well as the Fencing club, became friends with her fellow teammates Oliver and Raymond, and helped Richard (she hoped) with his problem regarding his family. She did however explore the castle with Tiernan, Vitomir, Oliver, Ivar, Glynn and Arnie, before getting ambushed by Peeves. Reyna swore to get back at the poltergeist.
The summer before her second year, Rey's family found that her irritating cousin Peter had magic, to her dismay and she had to spend most of her time trying to get him acquainted with the magical world, leading to her having a long summer, only barely salvaged by the birth of her younger sister. Her second year didn't start better either; at the platform, while meeting up with her friends, they unintentionally crowding Glynn and causing him to panic and bolt, which worried her. Rey continued to go to Quidditch and fencing practice, even joining the Dueling club. Later in the year, Rey managed to convince most her friends to explore the Forbidden Forest, which ended in a disaster; Glynn tried get himself eaten by an acromantula that they tried to fight off before being rescued by Professor Hill, who gave them all detention. Rey spent the rest of the year avoiding her friends as it was her stupidly reckless and irresponsible decision almost got them killed; she vowed to become a better and more responsible friend.
After being grounded for the rest of the summer for her stunt, Rey was nervous about coming back to Hogwarts for her third year, but thankfully, most of her friends treated her the same, with the exception of Ivar, who ignored her. However, Glynn had become even more closed off this year and no matter how much they asked, he avoided and skirted around the topic, to their frustration. During fall, Oliver met up with her, confessing that he'd kissed Arnie and asked her for help regarding his feelings. Rey naively suggested he might have been confused by the kiss and offered to kiss him to help put his feelings in perspective; it seemed to have helped him somewhat, but Rey found herself blushing and feeling off around her best friend. The rest of the year was more stressful as Rey found that she'd taken too many classes and had to do a lot of work to keep up; especially since Tristan, her captain, quit the Quidditch team, causing her to substitute midway of the season. And finally, near the end of the year, Rey attempted to apologise to Ivar for what she did last year, feeling guilty, which he accepted and they agreed to move on, much to her relief.
Rey found the summer before her fourth year much better than the last; Peter spent less time at their home, she wasn't grounded anymore, and she spent time at Ivar's house. The school year was more stressful though, and even though she was delighted to have become a starting beater for her Quidditch team, it didn't help. At least they won both the House and Quidditch cup that year to make up for their horrendous last season. By the end of the year, Rey decided to drop a couple of her classes in order to work harder and focus on the rest, which reduced some of her stress. She did hear rumours of her cousin getting beaten up, but she ignored his existence, like usual.
Rey's next year started out well, having been surprised (and delighted) by the news that she'd been chosen as a Prefect. Despite resolving to bury herself in books and study for her OWLs, she continued her extracurricular activities, winning the Quidditch cup once more, and she was nominated as the next captain and co-captain of the Dueling and Fencing clubs. She also spent some time with her classmate, Gavin Selwyn, and despite not talking to him before, she really enjoyed his company.
Her sixth year was a mess. Not schoolwise, Rey's classes were fine and she didn't have troubles with her extra-curriculars despite leading and helping with a couple. Glynn was having troubles, Arnie got pregnant with Oliver as the father and worst of all, her own dad was killed and she hadn't even seen him since the winter holidays, she didn't even get to say goodbye. She almost didn't want to go back home to deal with it all, but she couldn't leave her mum and sister alone.
Rey's seventh year seemed to pass by in the blink of an eye. To her delight, she'd been nominated as Head Girl with Ivar as the Head Boy. Her duties and with her studies kept her incredibly busy and she relished the chance to relax in her extra-curriculars. But the year ended better than she expected, especially since Glynn seemed to be getting better and Tiernan getting engaged.
ADULTHOOD:
After graduating, Rey was accepted into the auror program as a trainee, something she'd been working towards. Her mother objected to this, stating that the job had too many risks and not just to herself, and two of them argued, resulting in their worst fight that either of them could remember. They didn't speak to each other for a couple of weeks and even after Eve relented, things remained tense between them until Rey moved out.
She and Gavin lived together for a few years before realising that while they cared for each other, they weren't in love anymore and broke things off amicably.

Peter Whyte was born in London on a particularly chilly autumn. His father was a pilot and his mother a flight attendant who fell in love and got married on the job. While he was never left alone during his first years, when he got older, both his parents were regularly absent because of their jobs and couldn't quit because they loved it too much. As such, he often stayed with his paternal grandparents and sometimes with his Uncle Jon's family. While they visited often, Peter was the child who stayed with his grandparents the most and as such they spoiled him to their heart's content, especially when his parents were away for work; he was often given sweets and was given full reign of his grandparents' bookstore.
When his younger sister Elizabeth was born, Peter was dismayed because for once, other than when his cousin Reyna visited, his parents' and grandparents' attention wasn't on him and he resented his sister, refusing to play with her and often stealing her toys and sweets and occasionally pushing her, to his family's despair. He was scolded often, which caused his resentment to grow even more because to him, his family always favoured little Liz over him, which to him felt like a betrayal.
As he grew older, his attitude did not get better, instead, it grew steadily worse to the point where their house was often filled with shouting matches between the two siblings. This behaviour wasn't reserved for sister and he often got into trouble at school where his abrasiveness made him a target for angry children and Peter's stubbornness only exacerbated this. In time, because he hated fighting and getting beaten up, Peter learned how to talk skilfully to avoid confrontations by instead embarrassing his fellow students and humiliating them with his words with all the vicious cruelty of an 8-year old boy and by reducing many children to tears, they eventually learned to never provoke him. He gleefully used this skill on his sister who usually never stood for her brother's unfairness but even she couldn't help but break down sometimes and Peter never felt guilty, only satisfied because in his mind, she deserved it. Their grandparents never knew what to do with him and they often scolded him and punished him but they were too soft-hearted to do anything harsh and Peter never learnt his lesson.
During their fights, both Peter and Liz got very agitated which often lead to them performing accidental magic, broken frames and vases and affecting the power i the house. But because they were often rambunctious and because their house was old, their grandparents' thought nothing of it; they've never personally witnessed the fighting because while they heard it, they were too slow in their old age to reach the two children in time to see the actual fights. They already had some experience with accidental magic because of their wizard son Jonathan but they never expected another wizard or witch to appear in their family, especially from the children of their muggle son so they received quite a shock when Peter's Hogwarts letter arrived. His uncle's family kept the existence of magic a secret from them so at first he didn't believe it despite his grandparents' insistence; it went against his every beliefs and strangeness never sat well with him; but after being shown irrevocable proof of magic, he grudgingly accepted the fact that he was magical and odd.
SCHOOL YEARS:
Peter's first year at Hogwarts did not go as planned. It was a disaster from the start: his attempt to be polite and make acquaintances was doomed from the start when the girls he tried to speak to turned out to be obnoxious idiots and later he was pushed into the lake that some dead person thought was a good idea to build a school next to and he spent the rest of the night soaked to the bone and humiliated. He had his doubts about the feasibility of teaching students in a draughty, dusty castle but Hogwarts castle turned out to be better than expected. The classes were easy and mostly alright, other some over enthusiastic buffoons eager to make themselves teachers' pets and fortunately, he managed to avoid most other first years, including the four harpies he'd met at Diagon Alley while shopping for supplies. However, the worst incident occurred when he first join the music club they had. Some blind cripple didn't have the brains to not stand in the middle of the way and almost caused Peter to drop his clarinet. When he tried to berate the boy, people practically climbed over each other trying to defend him; they even threatened to ban him, just because he refused to treat the arse like a special snowflake! Suffice to say, he was forced to grit his teeth and apologise and kept his head down throughout the rest of the year. Peter dearly hoped his next year would go better but he doubted it.
Peter spent his next summer miserably in company of his grounded cousin and the rest of the family and while he hated it, he dreaded going back to Hogwarts for a second year. And so, other than an altercation with some delusional child thought he could be an 'artist', Peter spent the rest of the school year laying low. He did hear that they boy got into trouble later for painting the wall in the Great Hall, which didn't surprise Peter.
After a mostly uneventful summer, Peter went back to Hogwarts for his third year determined to not unnecessarily hide his feelings out of wariness; he'd tell people exactly what he felt about them. He encountered a miniature brat who was joining first year, and got into a fight with both that freak Heartwood and potential nutcase Mortemer, both of which unfortunately resulting in physical injuries and detentions for him because people were sensitive and he was 'mean'. After being confronted by Lucy after the latter fight, Peter kept his head down for the rest of the year, eager to get back home.
Before their fourth year could even start, Peter was accosted by Phoebe Davenport who demanded asked him to pretend to be her boyfriend to screw with her brother, and while he reluctantly agreed to at first, it wasn't too bad, to his surprise. The shock and disgust on others' faces was very gratifying. While he was 'protected' during the rest of the year because of Phoebe's influence, it was still stressful and terrible, culminating in an incident when he accidentally knocked over a suit of armour on top of blind Overton, which in turn resulted in another beating from the twins and a trip to the hospital wing, which he didn't advertise at all because of the shame and humiliation.
Peter was slightly disappointed by the fact that he wasn't chosen as a Prefect, but it was easy for him to get over, he didn't want to deal with those idiots anyway. He was more focused on his OWLs, and the fact that his sister was wasting her musical talent by not coming to the Music club, even after he told her to. He tried to confront her about it at her Art Club meeting since he could barely find her otherwise, but after a terrible reception, he decided that since his advice was clearly unwanted and stayed out of Liz's way. His uncle's death also shocked him since he was in perfect health and Peter was lost about what to do, for once not looking forward to going back home.
Rather annoyingly, his parents decided to stay home for once and make up for all the times that they were absent, futilely in his opinion. That along with his awkward encounters with Liz and the general despressing air in the house made him eager to return to Hogwarts for the first time. His sixth year there was mercifully uneventful in comparison. He kept his head down even when he desperately wished to say something (specifically in the Daily Dragon meetings under Tanaka's leadership), and to everyone else's continued bafflement, he and Phoebe remained together. In spite of everything, his seventh year flew by like a breeze and almost before he knew it Peter graduated.
ADULTHOOD:
As son as he could, Peter found himself the cheapest apartment he could find in London and moved out of his grandparents' home to live on his own away from the family. He also started working for the Daily Prophet.

Lizzy was born during spring as the second child of Joshua and Kristin Whyte. Kristin, an air hostess, took leave to take care of her daughter while Joshua, a pilot, continued to work but tried to visit as often as he could. However, Kristin soon became restless, so when Lizzy was old enough to not require a mother, she was left in the care of her grandparents and uncle alongside her brother Peter, and Kristin continued to work.
Growing up, their grandparents tried their best to take care of the two children and they admittedly paid Lizzy more attention as she was the youngest. This did not improve Peter's attitude; he disliked his sister from the start and as he used to be the pampered child before her birth, he was jealous and resentful of the attention she received and took it out on her whenever he could. Lizzy was pushed around, and Peter often stole or broke her toys, stole the candy she got and tried his utmost to make her miserable. At first, Peter was told off and punished but he learned to do it out of their sight and he continued tormenting her.
As the two got older, Peter became worse, insulting and putting down Lizzy whenever he could. At first, Lizzy tried fighting back and complaining but when that didn't deter her brother, she took to snarky and passive-aggressive jabs and avoiding him in order to keep him off of her back. She didn't have an easier time at school either as she was almost cripplingly shy and the other children avoided because of her status as Peter's sister, so she spent most of her time outside, just sketching in a corner alone.
When Peter got his Hogwarts letter, Lizzy was relieved because it meant that he was away for most of the year, giving her some much-needed reprieve. She didn't become more outgoing, but she spent more time inside with her grandparents and took to visiting the nearby park. She knew that she had magic as well, suspicious things happened whenever both Lizzy and Peter fought and from what she learned, she would be getting a letter inviting her to Hogwarts, just like Peter. So despite how great it would be to learn magic, Lizzy dreaded going to Hogwarts because it meant going to the same school as her brother once again.
SCHOOL YEARS:
Lizzy's first year at Hogwarts was surprisingly good. She'd already met and two girls, Gi and Drew at Diagon Alley, who continued to be her friends at school, much to Lizzy's delight, and befriended a fellow Hufflepuff, Diego, during the feast. She liked most of her classes, managed to avoid Peter for most of the year, and joined her first club ever, the art club, which was filled with so many nice people like the captain and her fellow first year, Faina. All in all, Lizzy was looking forward to the next year when she could see her friends(!) again.
Lizzy's second year wasn't as nice as she'd hoped. She'd spent most of the summer ignoring Peter's nagging to join Music Club, only for him to force himself into the Art Club's first meeting to yell at her in front of everyone, and if it wasn't for Dris, the club captain, chasing him out, she wouldn't have shown her face there again. But her brother's attitude and an encounter with a first year soured her mood for most of the year, and just after she started feeling better, she heard that her uncle had died, which left her miserable until the end of the year. The only silver lining was that Peter finally left her alone.
Her third year was Lizzy's favourite so far. After a summer of enduring her suddenly-present parent's attempts at parenting, it gave her a much-needed reprieve, and she loved the electives that she'd chosen. She befriended Sujin, a housemate and fellow art club member, and—to her shock and delight—was chosen by Dris to be his vice-captain for the club, a decision that was supported by the rest of the club. Her fourth year went by in the blink of an eye but the absence of Peter both at home and at school due to his graduation and moving out was felt keenly as Lizzy was both relieved that he was gone, to frustrated because now she was the sole target of her parents' attempts at parenting.
Her fifth year was mostly quiet as well as Lizzy elected to focus on her OWLs, although she did spend as much time in the Art Club as possible given that it was Dris' last year. In the meantime, she found her eyes straying towards her female classmates and Lizzy wasn't sure how she felt about that and decided to keep quiet. Unfortunately, her budding feelings seemed to focus on Gi, her best friend, but she squashed them to the best of her ability. Her final two years flew by in a breeze and almost before she knew it, Lizzy was about to graduate.
ADULTHOOD:
After graduating, Lizzy applied to work as a magizoologist and she and Gi moved in together. Things were pretty great for a while, until Gi asked her out, which to Lizzy who had been repressing her feelings for years now, came as wonderful surprise, and the two started dating. Now, even though she could hardly believe it, things became even better.

Born years after Reyna, Gemma was a surprise to Jonathan and Evelyn but a welcome one nonetheless. Being the only child in the house while her older sister attended Hogwarts and the youngest child in the family, Gem was doted on by the family, including Rey when she was at home but especially her dad, who called her his little clone. She was a cheerful child and grew up wanting nothing, being quite happy.
Unfortunately, Jonathan died when Gem was six, leaving her mother a wreck and the sisters struggling. The mood in the house was never quite the same again and while Rey and Eve tried to put on a brave face in front of Gem, it was easy to tell that they missed him because she missed him as well, especially once Rey graduated and got into a fight with their mother. Despite that, Gem remained upbeat and tried to spend as much time with them as possible, and things eventually settled into a routine, until Gem's Hogwarts letter arrived.
SCHOOL YEARS:
Gem's school years were rather uneventful. She made some friend and acquaintances and joined some clubs. The exams and assignments were a chore but frankly she was relieved to a place were she could just enjoy while keeping in touch with her family without having to deal with the strained relationships.
ADULTHOOD:
After graduating, Gem applied to work at the United Kingdom Library of Wizarding History, one of her ideal jobs and dabbled a little in writing fiction.
