Rayne wasn't sure what to think about Ritsu's gift. It was the first time that anyone had given him anything, even if he was just borrowing it. The only exception was his gun, but he had no idea of knowing of who it was from. He had found it hidden under a stone in is room. It had his name on it, but it didn't say who it was from. Looking at the music player, he smiled a little. "Thank you Ritsu. I promise that I will take care of it and get it back to you. Perhaps one day I will be free."

Riku arrived back at the cabin. He was successful in procuring an apartment for him and his sister to live in and was able to convince the sellers to throw in the staged furniture in for a little over the purchase price. He was actually quite happy that their money worked in this world. One thing they did was keep most of their money on them in their form of cash. He was able to purchase some studio equipment to use while they were here, if they ever felt like recording something. He wasn't sure if he should knock or just walk in, so he decided to knock and then walk in."Ritsy? Rayne? I'm back."He walked in and didn't see either one and placed a bag he got from town with some food in it. He figured Ritsu would be hungry, he definitely was. He would stay here with Ritsu for the night as the guys with the studio equipment were coming the next day and they had to sign for the apartment tomorrow anyways.

Rayne watched Ritsu fall asleep and stood up. "I hope you're right Ritsu." He then left the room and went back downstairs, taking notice to Riku. "Glad to see you're back Riku. Ritsu just fell asleep upstairs. Did you find what you were looking for?"'I can't stay here much longer. If I don't get back to the castle soon, Shadira will send something after me. This place must remain off their radar.'

Riku smiled when he saw Rayne."Just. Surprised she stayed awake that long."Riku pulled out the food."I brought some food. I guess I'll save Ritsy's for when she wakes up. Would you like something to eat?"Riku placed some food aside for Ritsu and looked back to him. Then he noticed that Rayne seemed different."Rayne...you seem....more relaxed than when we first met. You heard Ritsu singing, didn't you?"Riku questioned Rayne with a slight smirk on his face.

Rayne sat down in a nearby chair and smiled. "I listened to her sing and watched her dance. It's not something I'm used to." He thought about the song and everything Ritsu had told him. It was nice to have people that cared about him. At the mention of food, he looked down a little. Did he have time to actually eat? He had already been gone from the castle for a long time. How long before someone or something tracked him down? "I'd like some food, but I can't stay here for much longer."

Riku nodded."Ritsu always had this thing about her whenever she sings, people just become more relaxed. We always thought it was due to the crystal granting her that ability, but I guess, it's more than the crystal's power. But to see her dance, you are one of the lucky 4 that have seen her dance. Our parents and myself are the only ones to have seen her dance. It wouldn't happen to have been to a song like this."Riku sang a few lines of the song that Ritsu was singing earlier. He had a nice tenor voice. Once he was finished, he tossed Rayne something he could eat on the go."I understand that you have to leave. But don't forget, you got friends in me and Ritsu."

"That would be the one." Rayne said. Sighing, he stood up and pulled on his cloak. "It will be better for you both if you don't mention that you saw me to anyone. Perhaps one day we will get to see each other again." He then took a bite of food and put his gun away. "Be careful out in the world. It's safer in the city since the Deimos don't go there."

Riku walked over and placed a hand on his shoulder."I know we will. And don't forget that song she sang. And I swear that we won't say a word to anyone. Stay safe Rayne."Riku didn't need to know anymore, but he already considered him a dear friend to him.

He took another bite of food and walked to the door. They didn't know each other that well, but that didn't matter to him at all. What mattered was that he actually had friends. He hoped that one day he would make more. "Until we meet again." With that, he took off out the door. 'We will meet again one day.'

Riku watched him leave and then decided to make contact with the seller about moving in earlier. When the seller said they could meet at the apartment, Riku went upstairs and picked up his sleeping sister and carried her all the way back to their new apartment in the city."This way Rayne won't have to worry about us being found nor being in danger."Riku gathered the food and walked out the door, leaving a note for Rayne of thanks and that they moved to their apartment. He gave Rayne his number to call and gave him the building that they were moving into.~Exit~

Rayne ran at full speed to his hideout and through the door. Looking around, he noticed that no one was around. He then ran upstairs, noticing that Ritsu was gone. At that moment, he started to panic a little. Could Aiko have gotten there before him? No, that couldn't be it. There was definitely no signs of a struggle. She couldn't possibly know the exact location of his hideout. Going downstairs, he sat down and caught his breath. Looking over, he took notice to the note and quickly read it. A feeling of relief came over when he saw that it was from Riku. 'They're safe for now. I can't meet them at their apartment. It would be too risky, but I have to warn them. Good thing I have a phone here. Shadira wouldn't be too happy if she found out I had one.' Without hesitation, he quickly dialed the number. 'Please pick up Riku.'

Rayne felt a little relieved when Riku answered the phone, still having panic in his voice. "Riku. I'm so glad that you answered. Listen, there isn't much time. Where are you right now?" Rayne was a little afraid of what Aiko might do, but it was nothing compared to what Shadira would do. "We need to talk. Just not over the phone."

Riku picked up on the sense of panic in Rayne's voice."I was just about to walk to that weapon's store that you recommended. What's wrong? Where do you want to meet?"

"I can't say right now Riku." Rayne said, standing up and pacing the room. "The weapon shop. That's perfect. I'll meet you there. It's not safe to be out in the open." He could only hope that Aiko wasn't watching or following him. 'Please let my friends stay safe. I just have to let him know that Aiko is here and then get back to the castle.'
