Jerami looked up at Drexl for a moment as he spoke, giving a humming sound, before he said, "You know I... I was thinking... I want to use my magic, the healing aspects especially, to serve those like us. Those of mixed Alkidike blood that might have trouble finding good healers otherwise due to olde prejudices." He shifted in place then asked, "W-What do you think? I mean... there are others like us, those that might not have the same options as us... those who aren't able to go to our sisters for help because we aren't following that path."

Giving a shake of his head he said, "Well... we can probably talk about that later, huh? No need to dive into such a deep conversation when we are about to part ways. We can save it for next time."

Giving a smile he gave a nod, "I recall the waterfall, though it was a while ago. It would be nice to go there again."

Jerami seemed to brighten as Drexl said that it sounded like a 'fun topic' and he found himself hoping that it was a path that he might consider wanting with Jerami. While he wouldn't be able to aid in the healing itself there was so much that a man of his size and strength could help out with! Not to mention he'd be great at protecting those that came to visit with Jerami from any outside threats that might want to bother them while in their care. There was a lot to consider and talk about when it came to that particular path but that was again something that could wait until next time. Already he could see Drexl's place coming into view and he knew that they would be parting ways soon. No reason to spend their last bit of time together today on such a serious topic.

Instead he looked up at his friend... or was it boyfriend now that they were dating? Giving him a smile he said, "That sounds like a good place to go! Don't worry. I will make sure that the food that we bring along on the picnic is the best I can make!" While sewing was more of his forte then cooking was he was still pretty decent at it. This would be good practice for the future!

Jerami gave a smile, "Yeah, I will see you soon, Drexl." He said that but remained standing exactly as he was given that it seemed as though Drexl didn't want to move? He starred up at him with wide, aqua eyes for a long moment, then started to giggle, "You know I can't go home if you keep holding onto me like that, Drexl." It was rather cute, wasn't it? How clingy he was.

Turning to look over at Miqwe and said, "Do you want to help him, buddy? Give him a little tug in the right direction?" He would employ the help of the little beast to help Drexl to get to moving as he seemed to be stuck in place.

Jerami gave a smile as Miqwe started to do as he asked he said to the little limbara is a gentle manner, "Thank you, little Miqwe, your help is most appreciated." He was glad to see that Miqwe was so open to aiding him in getting Drexl going in the right direction. While he would love to stay with him a while longer he knew that neither of their parents would be all that pumped over the idea of their kids being out too late. Especially given that the menzuri were far more active at night.

Giving a little shake of his head Jerami said, "I will be alright. I think you should get going so that you aren't late. If you get grounded then we won't be able to go on any picnics at all now will we?"

Lifting his fingers to his lips he gave a little whistle, one that called down the massive kinfa to land near to them. The bird fluffed up a bit, wanting to appear a bit bigger, before walking over to them. Lifting a hand Jerami scratched him under the chin before he said, "Bruin can walk with me, that way you don't have to worry, alright?"

Bruin seemed to only fluff up as Drexl spoke to him, not looking as though he was acting in a manner that was terribly amiable... but he wasn't hissing or flapping his wings in a dismissive manner either. For Bruin that was actually a good sign, it showed that he had to at least think that he was alright. Enough so that the bird wasn't trying to actively chase him off. Something that made Jerami smile before he lifted his hands up to pet the bird in an affectionate manner, "Good boy, Bruin. You seem to be getting better at being social!" Or at least as social as he would ever be.

Turning to look back to Drexl he was soon being given a kiss, something that darkened his cheeks a bit before he smiled, lifting a hand up to give one of his braids a tug, "See? It's not so hard to be a little more forward with me, Drexl." He gave him a smile before he added, "I will see you again soon!"

He gave a wave of his hands before looking to Bruin, "Shall we?"

Jerami waved after Drexl before he gave a bit of a smile, "That was... really nice. I think my heart really feels at ease now." He murmured, he should even be able to really focus on everything ahead of him without really worry about the 'next step' which he had been doing for some time now. Until his final journey to Aisha he'd just been... well, worried. About most everything. How could one not worry when they were facing such a drastic change in their life after all.

Now though he saw the truth, that even after such changes that things hadn't changed that much. He was still able to enjoy things without having to worry. He'd finally taken that step forward that he needed to take, he was now watching the path of a mage. It was like putting off a bandage, it had been done and the pain of it was over. He could smile again.

"Come on, Bruin. We have to get home before it gets too late and my family starts to worry." He said, petting the big kinfa on the head before turning to head toward home while being flanked by the massive bird. Bruin had a look on his face that said 'stay away' now, thus ensuring that he'd be alright. It wouldn't take the pair long to get home, with Jerami going to get cleaned up for dinner while Bruin flew up to a high perch to keep a look out.
