Zoro's defeat at the catapult game didn't end there. Continuing on, he fumbled his kicks of the rocks, leaving him to only get one plate, and then later at the jousting bets he choose the loser, only getting a small two token prize. He was more and more feeling like just taking out his swords and swinging them to chop up this fixed games. But with what little self control Zoro had he continued to the next game, pouting the whole way.

Zoro's luck improved with the bean bag game. Landing all three bags, the vixen quickly moved on to the next game, hoping to hold onto what little luck had come back to him. His attempt at the catapult game was sub par. He managed to hit all three targets, and even get pretty close to the bull's eye once.

Taking the opportunity to ask Scarlett another question, giving himself another opportunity to learn more about her, while also taking the chance to eat, Zak listened. Only to nearly choke on his own food, coughing and quickly covering his mouth after one particular phrase. 'Good people'. Oh gosh, that nearly killed him. He had to keep his hand over his mouth to keep down the laughter while he recovered. He knew that was a phrase but it was so unexpected coming from Scarlett, and he'd always found it particularly weird. It almost always made him laugh or frown when he heard it, depending on the circumstances and his mood. After he recovered, he cleared his throat a bit, nodding and trying to pretend like that reaction hadn't been questionable at all, instead just picking his spoon back up. "Right, right... sounds like a good contact to have, Mishka," he remarked, though there was still a laugh to his voice. He took another bite of soup, looking quite entertained, but not at all offering up an explanation to the initial response. "Let me know if he tells you of anysing," he added offhandedly.
Honestly, Zak seemed more engrossed with his meal than the conversation, or, more specifically, Scarlett's reveal over Daeva. Or rather, he simply didn't let the conversation interfere with his meal. He was clearly listening, responding, and actively engaged, but he was also taking each opportunity to eat, and was not especially motivated to stop from that task to focus on what, in most people's opinion, was probably a more important matter. He did, though, take at least a moment to look at Scarlett after her question, but then shrugged and, once more, turned back to his food. "Not particularly," he replied, glancing at her, "Besides, how factual even ees zat?" He sort of remembered reading something about Giratina... Maybe? He figured it was fake, mythical theory stuff, though. He eyed her a moment more, then again looked back to his food, reading another bite of soup. "Unless she can open ze Distortion Vorld etself, or let me catch Giratina, I don't know vhy zat vould be zat relevant." But then again, he obviously hadn't read enough on her species.
As he lifted another spoonful of soup, he managed to glance up, only to see a furball flying at them. He dropped the soup down, but kept ahold of the utensil, jerking back as the pokemon landed, and getting to his feet. "Vat ze hell!?" he muttered, stepping back slightly, holding his spoon at the ready, as if prepared to shank the little furball. With the spoon. At the sound of his (annoyed) voice, there was a commotion near the entrance to the tent, as Daeva suddenly shoved her way in, nearly toppling a table over in the process. Zak snarled, throwing the spoon down. "Daeva! I told you to get out!" he snapped, striding over. Daeva gave a low growl, quickly curving around to slip back out, almost poutingly. Zak pursued-- evidently to reprimand her, and (or) let Scarlett address her new little fan on her own.

Sonoko began as Ohmarow retrieved the orb and watched the exchange. "Im not trying to pick favorites here but Kiyomi came first and if you two can't or wont get along then i think its only best i suppurate you. Your going with Ohmarow and he'll treat you well i promise." Sonoko was trying to sound sympathetic and understanding of the pokemons situation but Ohmarow could hear the slightest twing of relief in her voice. He couldn't rightfully blame her. He remained quite waiting for the red Zorua to say something more but she never didn't. Instead she came closer to his side of the table looking defeated and physically tired now. Ohmarow reached out and scratched the young pokemon behind the ear. A small act of comforting affection might help ease her mistrust of him. "Rahvok was it?"

Scarlett paused from her sentence for a moment as Zak reacted strangely to her explanation. She didn't see what was so funny until she realized what she'd said. "Arceus dammit Skye....." She muttered under her breath, rubbing a temple in irritation. She blamed him for that one. The pilot had been flying her around too much as of late, and Scarlett had already started mimicking his wordisms and phrasing out of habit, like she always did when she heard a particular accent or manner of speech for too long. That was one of the downsides of knowing and practicing so many accents and languages, you started slipping into them when you heard it too much. It was a miracle that she hadn't started slipping into Zak's accent yet. The russian had at least tried to cover up his laughter like it didn't happen, but Scarlett had already noticed, and was still somewhat irritated, though not directly at Zak. Not yet anyways.
No, her real irritation came when Zak revealed Daeva's species and seemed to not give a damn what the Spirake really was, mostly because he didn't believe Scarlett's claim had any factual basis, which was understandable for most people, but Scarlett wasn't like most people. "Fine, let's look at the facts then shall we? She's a ghost dragon type, when there's only one other known pokemon to share that type, and that's a giratina. When she evolves, she's gonna get wings, and I suggest ya take a good long look at em and see if it reminds ya of anythin', and lastly, have you seen any others of her kind? Why do you think her species is about as common as a legendary? Believe what ya want t' believe, but these things aren't just pure coincidence. Legends and myth are lessons, not just far show; they always have some truth to them." Scarlett insisted. "She's young yet, but I'd be careful if I were you, and keep her away from negative energy." She felt like her lecture was probably falling on deaf ears though, which only irked her more. This was probably the frustration her father always felt.... No one took myths and legends seriously, no one thought that there were warnings for a reason, and there was little Scarlett could do to convince them otherwise, except follow in her father's footsteps and prove them all wrong.
And of course, to top the tense feelings off, a brown furball rocketed into view, landing on their table and sending both Scarlett and Zak back and to their feet. Scarlett had grabbed the steak knife from her meal, but in the middle of the commotion, Cypher had let himself out of his pokeball and was now hovering in front of Scarlett, his tiny body spinning rapidly in place with a zap canon charged and ready, and meanwhile Zak was.... Scarlett glanced over and noticed that Zak was holding his soup spoon, and gave him an unimpressed look. What was he planning to do? Make the espurr bend it? Rolling her eyes, she turned her attention back to the little furball who was gazing at her intently with.... Something. She couldn't quite read his wide eyed expression well, but before she could do or say anything, Daeva had heard the commotion and had come into the tent, already knocking a few tables over, forcing Zak to go deal with her and push her out, and this time needing to follow through. Scarlett pulled her attention back to the espurr who asked, or rather, announced, that she was a pirate. "...Aye, that I am." She said reproachfully, wondering why that of all things was the cause for the furball's appearance.

Meebus was still leading the way as he and the others played the games. By now, though, they were all thoroughly engaged in the task. There was... the slight problem that none of them actually had hands, but Meebus was able to switch between his heat form and regular form, which gave him at least some ability to manipulate things. He didn't exactly have fingers, but his heat form gave him large hands, essentially. Sotnik could use his tail, too, and Rufflet, well... had his talons. For the most part, though, they improvised when it came to the tossing games, and as they started getting the hang of it, they began doing at least a little better. Still, though... aside from Meebus, some of them seemed to be getting a little frustrated. Even Boo huffed a few times when she failed some of the games.

Sending Gamma off to go bet on a joust instead of rapidash race to see if they had any better luck, Dotty went off to go bobbing for more berries since Gamma silently refused to play the game. She was actually getting a lot better and faster at it. At first she had only been able to get one, but then when she had tried again she'd managed to grab two, and now this time she'd increased to three berries. Satisfied with her progress, she put the new berries and tokens in her bucket and checked back in with Gamma. Their jouster had managed to place third in the tournament, which wasn't bad, but it also meant they didn't have a lot more luck with jousters than rapidash racers. Three tokens was better than none at all though, so Dotty had Gamma place the coins in her bucket before they were off to go look for more games to play.

Evan and company continued to eat, even after the loud bit of commotion that accrued towards the entrance to the tent. Guessing it was just an oversized Pokemon trying to get inside. Evan sort of felt bad, seeing Law taking up a large majority of area... Perhaps he'd return him and Origin for now, being the biggest of his team. Law didn't seem to bothered by Evan's notion, returning to his ball willingly. Origin followed in suit. Hronn, finished with his meal asked if he could go find Zoro and play some games with him. Louhi of course being the translator. Evan found no real harm in it and let the Marshtomp go and enjoy himself.
Luffy was unphased by the two human's defensive reactions. He was to focused on the overwhelming happiness that came from meeting a fellow pirate. His gaze never faltered even as the commotion revolved around the Spiriake's entrance into the tent happened. When Scarlet finally answered, the Espurr held a paw to his chest, and with a loud voice, telepathic as it were he replied. 'I'm a pirate too!' A wide smile crossed the tiny feline's face as he lifted up his straw hat and placed it down on his head with esp. 'My name is Luffy, what's yours?' Luffy likely came off as a child playing pirates rather than an actual pirate himself, but that was likely due to his tiny Espurr body. If only he hadn't been effected by that Everstone....
Meanwhile outside on the grounds, Hronn had found Zoro at the Catapult game, losing miserably. Hronn told Zoro he'd be joining him for now. The fox really had no reason to deny the mudfish, so the two moved on to the next game. Zoro sat out while Hronn tested his aim and luck at the bean bag game. Managing to get all three bags in, Zoro wasn't to pleased, but nonetheless he praised the Marshtomp for a job well done.

Moving on to the next set of games. Zoro took on the Plate shattering game, while Hronn moved on to bet on some of the jousting matches. Neither of them returned to happy. Zoro signed, reassuring the Marshtomp that it wasn't his fault for only getting a couple Tokens. "Dems the breaks." He replied with a half-cocked grin. "Lets just keep going." Hronn nodded, happily following Zoro on to the next game.

The two of them separated once more to finish up the last two games. Hronn took on the Berry bobbing game, while Zoro went to try the Crossbow one again. Both returned with fairly different moods. Hronn's wide mouth allowed him to scoop up a whole mouthful of berries, but it also offered him no self control, since he swallowed them all at once... now with a fairly upset stomach, Hronn was happy but feeling kind of sick. Zoro in the meantime had managed to get 9 tokens from the crossbow game. Taking Hronn over to the Nurse Joy tent, he got treated for his upset stomach.
