Personality: Shy but curious, always wants to see and experience new things, and finds staying at home incredibly boring. She thinks the world outside the swamp is something to be explored, and wishes that the strange hurt in her chest would stop so she could go out and see it all, dismayed she can't. She finds the Kio and Acha the most interesting, always wondering what their cultures are like outside the swamp, and where her own kind are from. As far as she knows, she was simply born here. Where did she come from? Where did everyone else come from? What lies beyond the trees that the stories carry with them? Maybe one day she'll know, if she wasn't so scared of being immobile.

Personality: The punk who always wants to be cool, but occasionally misteps and finds himself in trouble. He's not rude, particularly, and if he finds he has been and someone took a joke wrong, he'll be the first to feel bad and try to rectify the situation. It's embarrassing in front of his friends, but he would do it, and then hopefully try to ease them back into the jokes again. Enjoys his freedom and free spirit, and wandered into the swamp from his home with the rest of the zikwas, lost and cold. He doesn't seem to mind now, and has yet to discover that the Ache is a thing and that he'll never be able to return home.

Personality: His horns actually rattle lightly, very similar to how a rattlesnake's tail works. Goofy, strange, and awkward. Is absolutely awful at telling jokes of any sort. Loves to dance and do silly contorting tricks and is really sharp at witty insults, and that's about it. Jester was born near the edge of the acha's homeland, the desert, as his family were a troupe of traveling entertainers. He has since been traveling around seeing the sights, up until he reached the swamp, got lost in the dark, and wandered around until he found other kin, again. Unfortunately for him, travel is now restricted. Has a very seductive side and is pretty good at maneuvering what he wants; though to be fair, its usually in good intentions, he merely takes advantage of his ability. Can be neurological, paranoid, and occasionally dark-humored. Breeding partners may be extremely restricted; he's an OC (funnily an incubus) and his personality isn't stable and can flip on a dime.

Personality: Has a wild streak and likes to try new things behind her mama's back. Usually this involves getting into trouble and licking things she shouldn't... but isn't always the case. Has on some few occasions spoken to squirrels, and tends to enjoy the company of them while having a trip. Besides unruly behavior, she is a sweet doe who loves her friends and will back them up at any given opportunity. Loves walks and getting out to see the world, but never likes wandering too far from home and family. Adventures must be temporary, only. Adores animals, hopes to have a million and one watersnakes as companions, and definitely will love each and every one of them equally. They would be the most spoiled familiars ever, and she would take them everywhere with her.

Personality: Villain is prone to excess and a lot of whoring out. Pretty faces win him over more than anything else, doe or buck alike, but he's more keen on romance with bucks. Can be cheeky, and a bit of a d**k if someone doesn't understand his sense of humor, and comes off as slightly immature, definitely narcissistic, and can be blunt as all getout. But on the plus side of all his bad behavior, he's got a sweet side when it comes to friends, and is the absolute best kin ever to confide a problem in; he'll joke and get real about how good a kin you are in a heartbeat and shake all the bad feelings off with a few jokes. This adds to his charm and seduction, but not when you're feeling crappy. That's just no fun. Is totally friends with and distantly related to Jester; so he's also good friends with Mirewood.

Personality: LOVES PUNS. Calm, quiet speaking, and generally friendly. Loves animals of all kinds and hopes someday to apprentice under Mirewood as a healer, though she doesn't seem to feel much of the "presence of the swamp" as much as she does... just seems to be really connected to animals. Loves birds and furry things especially. Hopes to one day have one of each type of familiar she can imagine. To her, animals such as familiars are more family than other kin, though that doesn't necessarily mean that she doesn't like anyone! The first way to start a conversation with her is to have a pet; she'll be all over the company and conversation! Can sometimes be shy, and tends to simply slink away from uncomfortable situations when no one is looking rather than confront the problem head on and simply saying something. Doesn't do well with strong personalities.
