xxxxx Zykin is a quiet, shy boy. He doesn't quiet understand the world around him yet, and it confuses him even more when he has to observe instead of act. He doesn't like to think that others are there to hurt him; but with the world these days, he doesn't know at all. He likes to keep to himself or his family, and doesn't often venture around to find someone to talk to unless he has to. He stutters a lot, due to being shy, and it's only when he's fully confident that he can control the stutter of his voice.

Entry:
xxxxx Control It - Zykin is faced with a fear of his that no one has ever known about him before; not even himself. And though he tries as he may to control the stuttering so that he can get out of this trouble, he finds himself struggling to do so.
xxxxx Wings Are All That ( If it has wings ) - Zykin loves to fly, just like his mother does. But when he's met by another that doesn't have wings, or has wings and can't fly, he stares with unease and proclaims that wings are the best and those without aren't nearly as good. Gotta have wings to be the best!
xxxxx Knocked Down a Peg ( If he has wings ) - His mother and father find out about his declaration that wings are better than not. They have a long talk with their son explaining how he cannot be like that. His father and siblings ( possibly ) don't have wings, and to have that thought could form a rift in the family. He'll apologize quickly after and try and change his thought process.

Male:
Salvaje is a darling at his core, but just as wild as his name implies! The wild spirit within him yearns for lots of adventure and to explore the reaches beyond his current world. Though this may seem like him trying to get away from everything, he really just wants the chance to find something new for himself. He is always happy to come back home to his loving family in the end of it all. Being a simple loving, happy go lucky guy may seem a bit lack luster, but his spirit of adventure makes up for any short comings one would have with him!

Female:
Petit Oiseau is a sweet, shy, doting little mare. Never speaking out of turn or even raising her voice to someone who does wrong Though most would see this as a weakness, the little darling simply doesn't have it in her to be mean or callus to anyone. This often means that she ends up being pushed around by others, but she doesn't mind too much. Nothing has gone truly wrong in her life, so she doesn't mind going out of her way for others!

Just Like You!: Salvaje has started to break into his personality, feeling the itch of the adventure bug just as strongly as his mother. No one will know if this is a good thing or not, but Salvaje only knows that the small taste of adventure he has had so far isn't enough!
Finding the Way: Salvaje has never been lost per say, but today he has feels as though he has. Like he is missing something in his life. This causes him to head away from his family for a time, trying to find himself. The self that he seemed to have lost someplace along the way...
Tame the Wild: (Adult) Salvaje has attracted the attention of a rather pretty mare. It's interesting to say the least, but he really doesn't like to be tied down for long periods of time. Will this pretty thing be able to tame his wild side?

Female:
Controlled: Petit is not one to complain, but the request of another is laying heavily on her. She knows that she just can't say no either. Confrontation is not something she can handle...
Breaking Free...: Petit is dealing with someone who simply will not leave her alone! Though she is usually a darling sweet little thing, this one has brought her right to the brink of exploding! The question is if this little mare has the will power to finally fight back?
My Own Little Bird: (Adult) Petit has met a stallion with wings who is large and beautiful. She adores everything about him! He's even sweet to her, which is something she adores. Having her own little bird to love is the best thing she could ask for!

Entry:
Volya loved her siblings, she really did, but today... she didn't feel like being around them. She wanted to be free and fly. So while her siblings decided to do... whatever it was they chose, she waited. Waited and watched for her opportunity to escape for just a little while to try and do some things on her own. When their attention wandered, she snuck off.

Flying lessons with momma were not going well. She just couldn't seem to get anything right. She was uncoordinated, graceless and an all around failure. But she wanted to learn, she wanted to get things right. She longed for the freedom of the skies. And eventually, she would achieve it.

Finding a small clearing, she looked about for some way to get up in the air to give her a bit of a start. She would learn to fly, she would. With that thought in mind, she started to review what momma tried to teach her. Wind currents, how to position her wings, feather placement and others. And she practiced.

Ives: He is a pathfinder, there's no greater joy for him than to just explore, it starts out only around his parents home but before too long it extends out and he travels farther and farther away. Underneath this explorer-bug, he is a kind hearted stallion and a mama's boy. Every time he leaves, no matter how far he always brings something home for his mother.

Ada: She is smart as a whip, from a young age she shows a strong ability to understand the two leggers world and concepts of math. She spends most of her time studying and trying to learn from the world around her, trying to have as much knowledge as she can. She is also a daddies girl, and even though she would be considered a nerd she tries to be a girl girl marveling at the beauty around her and trying to immolate it.

Prompt: 4.1 - Flowers!
Entry:
He was being superbly brave today, Ives had wondered quiet a distance away from his family and their home. He was looving this! The sun was bright but the air was crisp and cool with the first hints of fall, not that he would understand why this made him so happy as he had not yet experienced the smoldering heat of summer, or the biting cold of the coming winter. Yet, the decently warm day with a crisp cool breeze was exciting for him.

Yet little Ives was on a mission to find a beautiful flower for his mommy. He'd seen his father give her flowers a lot and she always seemed to happy when he did. The idea had sparked in his mind like a jolt of lightning, he would find her a pretty flower too! Everything he past looked like flowers his daddy had already given her, well that would never do, he needed something special ... and so he traveled farther and farther out.

That's when he first meet HER, she stood tall and elegant.. her most of her coat black as midnight with a long blue mane frosted with some white from age. Blue flames, that almost seemed real roared up her legs, and wings like none he'd ever seen we're fanned out catching the rays of the sun. Yet his eyes were drawn to one particular feature ... growing up her forelegs on deep crimson vines were the most beautiful roses he'd ever seen. Inky black and tipped in ice blue. He was so captivated he didn't notice her starring at him, considering what to do. When she growled he jumped back and gazed into red and green eyes with a little gulp.

He dropped down into a more submissive position, instinct told him that was probably the best thing to do in this situation. When her melodious voice asked him what it was he was doing here and answered in a quivering voice "I was searching for a flower ... a special flower ... p-please miss .. if I could just have on of yours ... I would do anything!" His voice cracked high at the end and he stared longingly at the roses. But he dropped his head down, looking hard at the ground.

Time seemed to drag on forever when heard hoof beats moving towards him, a little shiver ran down his spine, but he looked up slowly when he saw a flash of lack in the corner of his eye. The mare held a plucked rose in her lips, a hint of pearly fangs made the colt shiver again, but he carefully took it profusely thanking her around the stem held lightly in his teeth.

"I will be back for my payment ..."

"But ... I don't even know your name"

"You'll know when the time has come." with those last words that sent a chill down Ives' spine the mare turned around and took off.

Ives did the same, spinning on his heels he took off towards home, carefully holding his prize and debating on telling his mom how he got the rose.

Prompt: Prompt 8 - Part of the Family
Entry: If I don't win this basket I would still love to have Ives one day (.. all the plot bunnies xD) so this is my idea for a costumed in son for the pair.

Ives is CeryneiAlicorn mix with a purple coated and some of his mothers soft red-brown accents. His mane is long creamy blonde, and his forelock is black, and his small cery tail is tipped in black. He has a perfect straight golden horn, and powerful wings that are purple with creamy brown flight feathers. He has lightly glowing markings like his father, on his flank they accent and curl around a bronze gear.

He adorns himself in steam punk style gear he has gathered as he traveled. A pear of googles to protect his eyes when flying given to him by his parents and he always carries a satchel for the flowers he brings back for his mother.

You offered yourself ...: Ives is resting at home, when a dark shadow appears on the horizon one stormy evening. A cold lump built in his stomach, he now knew what a kalona was and he was afraid. Yet still when the storm picked up he ran, hoping his parents or siblings would not catch up.

When he reached her, his knees were nearly shaking, yet she stood there still as noble and enchanting as ever.

"You made a promise, and now you will serve me." The statement was forceful, and there was no backing out.

A quiet sigh escaped Ives, and he looked back at home, it would be a long time before he saw them all again.

But he had been trained to never break his word, lowering his head Ives turned and followed the smaller kalona out into the storm and away from his home.

Name: Jhansi (following the naming theme with a city in India! - personality actually based on the story's history and its connections xD)
Personality: Jhansi, quite simply, is an old soul. He is wise beyond his years - one to always "stop and think," as it were. Although he may sometimes come off as quiet, Jhansi merely refuses to speak without measuring his words first. At base, he is kind and thoughtful, the selfless, charitable type that never fails to lend a helping hoof. He enjoys the company of others (particularly his family) and finds making connections rather easy.
