A feather attached to one of her golden bells. Short IC Response: Chosovi didn't know what to call Gareth. What was he to her? A friend? More then that? An enemy? She felt something in her heart. Something strong for the stallion that was a little hard to explain. She knew she couldn't live without him. He was her everything. Her strength, but also her weakness. He brought a smile to her face in secret when he wasn't looking and she would protect him to the death if she had to. She didn't know if that was love or if it was just her being a protective friend. Her mother told her differently and had explained to her that it's the same thing she felt when she met her father. She was afraid and that shook her more then anything because she was never afraid of anything. But the possibility of love scared her. Would he always be there? What if she wasn't there for him? A lot could happen. A lot did happen between them. They had shared so much in so little time that she couldn't just throw it all away without it meaning something.
"You don't know this...but I think I love you...no...I'm sure I love you, but I'm too afraid to admit it. I'm too scared to open my heart to you. So..I'm going to leave a wish..a small token of my undying love for you..Gareth." She spoke softly as she placed on the ground before her a feather and one of her bells, then looked up at the night sky. "I wish for something to remember you by if we never meet up again." She looked away feeling her heart ache before moving on quietly.
She never should have left him. She never should have wandered off alone because now she had no hope of ever seeing him again. He was the one that made her feel something. The one that opened her heart up to various feelings that she never would have experienced otherwise.
He was her other half.
He was her soulmate.
Memories came flooding back and soon tears began to fall.

Her posture was often mistaken for arrogance, especially by males; they tend not to be used to seeing a female with confidence like Talía. It is, or so they say, intimidating. Off-putting. One of her tail tendrils Short IC Response: Shinoma had not shared that she was going to do this with Firestorm, hadn't dropped a single word or hint. Mostly because she knew that what she was doing made her look sentimental at the least, and a weak mare at the most. And now wasn't the time to be seen that way, not when her mate needed her the most. So she'd kept this to herself, heading into the hills when she knew she was alone, and had waited for the night to fall.
When it did, and the brightest light was in the sky, she took a breath, curled her tail around and grasped firmly on one of the coiling tendrils that grew from the end. With a sharp and tearing tug, she whipped her head one way and her tail the other, blood splashing darkly on the grass around her. Teeth gritted around the tendril as pain throbbed through her tail and then she dropped it on the ground before her, looking up at the light that was known as the Wishing Star.
'My blood for new blood. I want a child I will never have to say goodbye to..have taken from me for reasons of advancement, or leave because I could not accept them as they are.' she let out a long sigh.
'I have to be cold and brutal to foe and prey, but I shall be that way to my blood no more. If they spring into this world as innocent as a lamb and stay that way all their life, they will still always know their mother's love..' she fell silent, her gaze still skywards, on the distant celestial light.
'Bring me a daughter. Please. One I shall not let leave my side. She will never be used as chattel in an agreement, she will be loved as she is..what I have failed at so many times before, I shall make amends from this moment. Help me in this.'
She stepped back from the 'offering', her tail still stinging, and walked slowly away without a backward glance. Shinoma had no idea if her plea had been heard, but if it was not, it would be struck from memory and be locked away with her other regrets and failures.

Several of his golden roses which mysteriously disappear once he leaves. (He couldn't help himself) Short IC Response: *Shadow stared up at the giant Wishing Star, a twinkle in his eye to match its brilliance* "Oh great Wishing Star, I have come to ask for your assistance with something most sensitive. During my travels, I have come across many mares, most of which I have bedded. My times with these mares have been wondrous but I fear that there may be something wrong." *The Draft looked down sullenly, as if ashamed to say his next words.* "You see, in all of my...activities...not once have I sired an heir. It is something of a sore point for me since I do not possess a family of my own. If you could find it in your benevolent graces to grant me what I seek so that I might know what it is to be a father, then I would wander throughout the Kawani lands boasting of your miracles."

A flower from her hair and a vivid orange feather plucked from her wing. Short IC Response: Leilani sighed looking up at the shining star above. She had heard of its reappearance in the sky from travelers she healed along her ever wandering path. 'It couldn't hurt to try...' She thought. Approaching the alter with a reverent gaze she carefully placed her offering of a flower and a feather and said, "Oh great and powerful Wishing Star, I have sought you out to ask of you a boon." At first she felt a little silly talking to a star until a warm wind rushed by her and she felt it was a sign to continue, "For the longest time I have mourned my parents deaths, and my brothers disappearance yet I have tried to stay strong for those who need my skill at healing. Lately the road has begun to weigh heavily on me and I would dearly love a child to share my love of the healers art with..." One final pause interrupted her before she could finish her words, "To teach someone else as my mother taught me..." She turned to leave but not before sparing a small bow, with wings spread wide for balance, to show her respect for the Star.

A small necklace made of shells he's collected, strung together with his hair. Short IC Response: Kanaloa slowly approached the altar, and knelt besides it. He felt a little dry, but he had to come and make this wish. "Oh bright star above, I am lonely. My sister, my sweet sister... How I miss her, miss her... Please help light her way to me?" His eyes glitter with wistful tears as he stares at the stars, then finally he stands, and slowly heads back to the nearest river.

She had never done this before, but something had urged her to try this time. She set her bundle down and arranged it carefully with her nose as she thought of the words she wanted to say. When she spoke, her voice was a reverent whisper of a prayer. "Wishing star, I know that my offering doesn't look like much, but I'd like to think this dream catcher holds all of my hopes and dreams for a family. I am very lonely, and I feel that I have so much love to give. If there was just someone I could give it to, I would be the happiest of Soquili."
With her prayer said and her offering given, Xiulan shifted nervously on her hooves before speaking once more. "If there is someone more deserving, Star, then please give them this precious gift. I only want to thank you for listening...so thank you." And with that, she walked away with a last glance up at the sky.

Who is Wishing?: Amadahy Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: She had never before seen the wishing star and she gazed up at it in amazment as she sttod before the alter to offer it a gift. She was unsure of this, making a wish. She had her companion, but she longed for more. Aura knew this and she longed for her own form of companionship with another of her kind as well, but that was a different matter.
Amadahy cleared her throat before speaking. " I am new to this... Making wishes that is." Was she silly for doing this? " I'm looking for another who can help me as much as I can help them... Kind of a work on each other's strengths and weaknesses." Someone who understood her better than herself. She frowned slightly, was this right? She felt uneasy wishing for someone to be with her. "It's not that I'm unhappy.. I just seek companionship that is ever lasting." She knew aura would not take offense to this. She cared for her, it was just something was missing. For both of them.
"I wish that you grant my soul some easement and send me someone to complete the parts of me that I have yet to understand." While we have everything we need to be happy...or so I thought, I would love to have a foal to raise as our own. We have plenty of love to share with a child, if you would only grant us this gift." Closing her eyes Kaikea prayed her wish would be heard and come true before turning and heading off to return to Calfuray.

Who is Wishing?: Tell the wishing star a little about yourself:He was pacing the beach the moon glowing off the ocean. He glanced up at it always amazed by the stars and the moon no matter how many times he saw them. He felt as if he was missing something though. He wished he had someone to share this sight with. Someone that would understand his way of life and stick by him like a friend. No many came through and when they did they were only passing by stopping for a break and then returning to there travels.

An orange and blue flower Short IC Response: Laying down the flower Calfuray looked up at the star somewhat anxiously, it was strange to think of wishing on a star for something such as this..but there were rumors of it working for others and Kaikea swore by it. If Kaikea believed then Calfuray decided she would believe as well. "Wishing star, I truly hope that you hear our plea, we would make wonderful parents and our herd is safe and secure, a good place for a foal to live." Deciding that was about as good as she could do she nodded her head to the star in respect before drifting away.

The blanket in which his mate's human gave to him one the first night of their courtship when they agreed to be a couple. Short IC Response: It was a nice night. The sky clear and bright. Questrille walks forward slowly. Nervous and hopeful at the same time as he has never asked for many things in his life. Yet he knows this night is going to be a night when he asks for something big to happen. Something that would change both his and Zori's lives forever. Coming to a stop he looks up at the wishing star before moving to take off the blanket and sets it down in offering. After a few moments he looks up at the star again before he starts speaking. His tone yearning and filled with hope. "I come to you this night wishing star to make a wish that would change my mates and my life if granted. Zorion and I wish to have children. I not only want this for him but for myself. It is something that we want more than anything in the world. I believe we would make good parents. We have a safe home where we wouldn't be far from help if needed. They would grow up with a family filled with love and joy. Two fathers who would love them more than anything in the world. Who would protect them and cherish them. I wish to take my relationship with my mate forward to a new level. I pray for your help and guidance." Staying there for several minutes he bows before moving to go back to his mate.
