At the Fortune Wheel, Aislin stood victorious. She'd managed to beat Avikna, though only by a few notches. Still, the eight tickets Aislin would have won, if not for an agreement she couldn't accept them, would have been nice. Six wasn't to bad either, and with the growing bulk of tickets, Avikna decided to move them to an unused pouch in her bag. "We'll see how lucky you are tomorrow." The red-head stated as they left the game, heading back to the Pokemon Center. "Tsk, I'll beat you in all the games." Aislin replied, folding her arms, a triumphant look on her face. "Whatever." Rolling her eyes, the red-head turned to look behind them, finding Mave missing. 'Where did you run off to?' She thought, getting a disgruntled growl in response. The fishing game, the bane of Avikna's existence thus far. Which meant beating Aislin at this was top priority. The two eyed one another for the longest time before they turned to face the pool before them. Two Wailmer swan nearby each other, begging to be caught. Avikna lined up her shot, taking in a deep breath, to which Aislin mimicked. With a swoop of their nets, they both attempted to catch the plump, but tiny Pokemon. Aislin, failed miserably, while Avikna... while she failed, at least she'd managed to get it out of the water before the net broke. "I'm sure you'll get it one of these days." The attendant chuckled, handing over Avikna's consolation prize; one ticket. With a sigh, she tucked it in with the rest of them, then glanced over to Aislin. "We'll consider that a tie, since neither of us technically won." Aislin nodded. "Anyway, we woke up so quickly, I didn't get a chance to get any food. Let's find Mave and get some food together." Once more the canine nodded.
Mave, who already knew the course of the day, had returned to her sunny spot she'd found and relaxed calmly under the soothing sun rays. A Pidgey had floated down and landed on the wolf's back. Meanwhile, a straggler, far from his home had managed to find himself lost on the fairly large island. The scent of food his only driving force to finding out where he was and how he could get home. Though thus far, his journey lead him to startled screams and things being thrown at him. Was he scary looking? Was he doing something to offend the humans? Being blind, it was hard to tell just why everyone was so angry and afraid of him. Regardless, the small Pokemon's nose had lead him back to the festival, but this time a new sent caught his nose... an avian scent.

Avonlea spent he previous day exploring what she could of the festival set-up on Knot Island and looking at the prizes she could "buy" with the tickets. There were tons of prizes, so there was no way she could win them all unless she won the golden Magikarp fishing challenge a hundred times. But, she could save up until the end of the festival and get her prizes then. That way she could see what all she could afford at that point. After she figured that out and played some more offhand games, winning a few accessories and whatnot, it was time for bed. She and Mikhail curled up at the Pokémon Center.
In the morning, Avonlea woke up early to wash her clothes so her yukata and other garments were clean. Though, she would mostly be wearing the yukata during Tanabata. It was just passed ten when she and Mikhail left to rejoin the festivities."I think today I'll win that Charizard plush you wanted yesterday. After we earn today's tickets. The game Avonlea could play for the plush toy Mikhail wanted was a water gun game. She had to use a water gun shaped like a Horsea to shoot six or more burning trees. Fake burning trees, of course. Alex made his way down to the beach with Slowking following along next to him. As the trio made it close to the water, Alex took a seat on the warm sand and looked out toward the water. Eevee jumped down to the sand and looked around, she wasn't a water type, so it wasn't that much fun to go into the water. Besides that, it would take a really long time to dry off after that. Slowking on the other hand moved to the water's edge and looked out on the waves. For him, water was always interesting to watch as it did a lot of unique things. Alex was annoyed about his failure at the games, but that really didn't matter, he still had fun trying his hardest and would try again later. For now, he was enjoying the beach and looking into the water always made him feel a little better. "At least it's nice on these islands... surrounded by water definitely makes me happy." Eevee glanced toward her trainer as he spoke and shook her head slightly before replying.["No surprise there, you never shut up about anything to do with water."]She said with a slight sigh and found a comfortable spot on the sand to lay down. Slowking couldn't help, but chuckle at hearing the comments by Eevee."Water is quite unique in how it moves and always changes, never staying the same for very long. Even though there is a vast amount of it, I think it fits Alex the best. It might be better that the first round of games didn't go so well, we know he won't give up after all."He grinned a bit at Slowking's words as the pokemon didn't face away from the water while talking. This pokemon was definitely interesting and Alex really enjoyed listening to how a pokemon thought. "Thanks for that, Slowking. I haven't given up yet, perhaps if I just change my approach, things will work out better." The water pokemon trainer said with a determined look in his eyes. Like water, he was quite adaptable to any situation, now that he had failed, the only thing he could do was improve.

Steadily approaching the resting Mave, the little dino-like dragon eagerly anticipated the sultry scent of his next meal, for once no one was throwing things at him or screaming. However, being blind, the little dragon couldn't tell that his meal was sitting atop a large beast of a Pokemon, severely out sizing him. Even still, the scent that Mave released was also quite enticing. He wasn't going to be picky about a free meal, even if he couldn't see what it was. Opening his maw, the little dragon stepped forward once more, and clamped down hard on Mave's wing.
Avikna, who'd just managed to find the wolf sleeping near the edge of a cliff over looking the festival and the beach below noticed the little dragon to late to say much of anything, as the dragon clamped down on Mave's wing, Avikna recoiled and fell forward in a heap, reaching across her body to grab at her left shoulder blade. Mave herself quickly woke and shook off the dragon, sending it falling right into Aislin's arms. The Lucario snarled and quickly tossed the dragon to the ground and readied an Ice Punch, only to find a recovered, but still in pain, Avikna in the path of her attack. "Hold it!" The red-head shouted. 'It's a dragon! And it harmed Mave!' Aislin shouted in protest, waving a paw through the air as if to say 'move'. Avikna refused. "That's no reason to attack it. " The red-head stated, stand up to further block Aislin's path. "It's Mave's fault for being so oblivious to her surroundings."
Mave, who was testing her wing, making sure it wasn't to damaged, found there was really no damage at all.. in fact, the young one didn't even pull out a feather. It hurt, yes, but... no blood. 'I think it's a baby.' Mave stated as she approached the two scowling at each other. Avikna looked away first, finding her gaze on the little dragon now sulking away, both his meals lost. "A baby?" Turning, she approached the Pokemon, he looked back startled by the sound of something approaching him. He didn't want to be thrown again! "Hold it!" Avikna called, her assertive tone forcing the Dragon to stop in his tracks. "Were you hunting for a meal?" Avikna continued, her tone not quiet as assertive, but still demanding. He turned to look towards the sound of the voice. Avikna froze for a moment, her mind quickly traveling to Requiem..... After he nodded, Avikna approached him, leaning forward to pick him up. When she finally got the lighter then expected Deino in her arms, she turned to Mave and Aislin. "Let's get something to eat."
Sometime after their meal, Avikna had persuaded the little dragon to join them. Honestly if it lead to more food, he was happy to join. Mave was of course privy to the fact that Avikna was simply using the Deino to fuel her memories of Requiem, back when the little dragon wasn't so.... Three-headed. Even still, the pain in Avikna's heart was also easy to see, she missed RAY. Worry mixed with Guilt constantly bombarded the red-head, not just for RAY either, but for Ule'Tra, Nijrn, and Ookoth. Whatever the case, it was all being coated with a false sense of happiness when Aislin and Avikna continued their competition, heading for the Ring toss.
While Mave tended to Alduin, the Dragon who a mere hour ago had chomped down on her wing. She was stuck between making sure the child didn't run off, which wasn't hard since it seemed afraid to move from under her, and the fact that Avikna choose 'Alduin' for a nickname. The name sounded oddly familiar to her, but she couldn't pin where she'd heard it before, surely it would be in Avikna's memories, but as far as she could tell... they were both at a loss. Not to mention, Alduin certainly didn't fit his name. Whatever the case, Aislin burst out in cheers, as she managed to get all three of her rings around the bottles, while Avikna managed only one. Taking her one ticket, the red-head motioned towards the dart throwing game.

The trio relaxed on the beach as it was nice to take a break from training. Despite that, Alex eventually started to get the urge to take on the Tanabata games again. This time he was going to try and play them in a different order. The most amount of tickets were gained from the Fortune Wheel, so that was where he was going to start. Alex slowly got back up and stretched before speaking. "Alright, lets get back to it and take on those games again" As he started to move, he noticed something sticking out of the sand nearby. Alex reached down a picked it out of the sand and noticed that it looked like an egg, which was an item he already had. Perhaps more of them would come in handy. With that decided, he put it away in his bag. Alex continued onward to the fortune wheel as Slowking followed with Eevee hitching a ride on the pokemon's crown. Alex got to the wheel and this time didn't wait to spin the wheel. His eyes watched on as the wheel came to a stop on the number six. "That's more like it." Alex said with a sigh in relief as he took the tickets and headed onto the next game.

Alex felt like his luck had changed for the better and he didn't feel like letting it do to waste. The closest game to where he was just so happened to be one of the worst for him. The trio moved over to the Throwing Darts and Alex prepared to try his best. He took a deep breath this time before throwing the darts. One after the other, he didn't give himself too much time to think about it. In a few moments it was over and he had managed to pop two balloons again. Unfortunately he only earned two tickets again ad hadn't improved. "W-well... at least I didn't do any worse." Alex said with a sigh as he added the two tickets to the other. Even with his bad showing, he was at least getting more.
