Cimm&Nuna

The male luxio looked about at the female's mention of rookie teams. He was actually hoping that there'd be less mons here and was glad Mercy's expectations hadn't come to fruition. Once she mentioned his partner, Cimm couldn't help but to roll his eyes at the notion of Nuna ever 'mellowing out'. Sure she was just coming onto the road of an adult, but there were some things you never grew out of.

"I try not to expect too much," he grimly informed, alluding to his not wanting to be disappointed. He'd already had enough of that since meeting Nuna in the first place. He was distracted from this point by Mercy's body language.

The raised fur on the feline made Cimm very nervous, as he knew the various reasons it could be bristling. His eyes darted back and forth as he searched for the characters Mercy was mentioning. He wasn't sure if she just expected to be bothered by them, if she thought some of them had ill intentions, or if she just knew somehow that some of them were vile. All of the possible reasons for her statement whirled around in his head, and he could feel himself panicking a bit. There were just too many uncontrollable variables that could lead to his detriment and they were all packed into this room. His urge to gain control over the situation threatened to overwhelm him if he didn't figure things out.

"L-like who?"He struggled to keep his composure as his eyes went back to his kind, resorting to shifting on his feet again to expel his nervous energy.

Serena smiled when the Meowstic had repeated there names, really just continuing to wonder if he had ever told there names because honestly, she couldn't remember at all. It was really starting to bug her. But her questions became answers as it was true, that he had spoken his name before. She kind of felt stupid now, smiling awkwardly.

"Ohhh my bad, I guess I forgot. Well, it's nice to meet you Neo!"
The Fennekin continued to smile with bliss, but wondered who Nyx was, she knew they were his partners, but where were they? She wanted to know what they looked like and to meet them. She noticed Neo seemed to be searching in the crowd of pokemon, probably for his partner who was lost in the same somewhere. It seemed like he had been staring at someone for a long enough time, wondering if he found his partner. But than he eventually yelled that he had found them, glancing over to the general direction he was pointing toward. She noticed a vulpix speaking with a charmander, and both seemed different in color, just like herself. It was kind of cool his partner was a sort of fox too, just like herself. It felt like a while that she continued to stare at his partner while he was having a conversation with another. But than Neo began to speak more and she wanted to pay attention, so she looked over back at him.
"You haven't met your partner much? Maybe when this greeting is over you could get to know him better. That seems like a good plan, though I'd rather not go off on my own. I'll probably just get lonely."
Serena shrugged, agreeing with his idea of splitting up but she just didn't want to go out there on her own. She wondered if maybe he wanted to meet more, she didn't want to hold him back or something.
"Yeah, were glad to meet you too! I'd love to visit you sometime and meet him, that sounds great! Hopefully we'll find time to drop by. If you want to meet any others, feel free to go ahead. I think we know each other pretty well by now, but truly, it was great meeting you."
Serena smiled blissfully, he was the first one she got to meet and to be honest, she was glad because he was so nice and she just hoped all the other pokemon would be this nice too. That would make her time here even better, and more enjoyable. It was fun meeting others, she hoped to get the chance of meeting more nice pokemons.

Viannxxxxxx -- xxxxxxBink

It had all gone wrong so, so quickly.

The Carbink continued on it's merry way, bobbing lightly mere inches off the ground as he examined his surroundings with no intent of mingling (after all, he couldn't talk) when he was suddenly forced down onto the ground under weight that made his vision go black. Without any delay, the rock began to let out a loud, horrified screech that echoed in the room reminiscent to that of a traumatized child rather than the metallic jingling he often made when idle. It was a sound of terror, and for all in the world looking over, all they'd see is a furry body rolling about on the floor.
Viann, who'd been watching the groups from afar had come still after a point in time, catching the tail end of a sneaking glance from an equally as familiar psychic. His brow arched in mild surprise, but that was the extent of his curiosities. It was a male, there was no need for concern. The feline would have carried on or found a place to rest if not for the sudden screaming invading the deepest parts of his eardrum. It was surprising more than it was painful. Viann's expression shifted into one of horror and pain for only a moment before regaining his revolve with a stern clutching of his jaw; head turning down as his eyes looked for the source.

He'd actually never heard Bink scream before. As far as the Psychic was concerned, there was a undisciplined child in the room.

Venari
Katherine & Arcturius

Zack and Manji then. Zack certainly seemed friendly, Manji seemed a little... anti-social. It was enough to be off-putting, the way he seemed to stare straight at her. But Katherine the Kirlia wasn't one to be put off so easily so she politely put her focus back on the Scraggy known as Zack. "It's no problem. We're supposed to talk to each other, right? I'm the captain of team Venari." Her partner hung from her waist, silent and immobile. Arcturius was her partner but he was most certainly not one to speak and he was very much inclined to simply retain his appearance as a common weapon. "How are you both?"

It was then that the screeching from Bink the Carbink reached her eyes, leaving her confused and somewhat horrified at the childish cry of terror. But she couldn't quite tell where it was coming from, not yet.

((Himekawa! I think you got a little bit confused by my last post. Katherine, the one speaking, is a Kirlia. Her partner, Arcturius, is a Honedge. He stays in his sheath, which hangs from her waist just above her butt. He looks like a normal sword and he doesn't speak. You might want to check their profile for more information!))

Neo

Neo shrugged off Serena's apology. "Don't worry about it, I'm not the greatest with names either." He had a better memory for faces than names, which is why he was trying so hard to memorize Serena and Salvatore's; it always felt great when someone remembered your name after meeting you a second time. "But yeah, I hope we get a chance to talk later too. We're living together after all, so it's pretty important that we get along. I hope we'll get to be as comfortable with each other as you and Salvatore are!" While the larger Pokemon had been silent for most of the conversation, Neo got the feeling he was looking out for his Fennekin partner, never leaving her side even though it didn't seem like the Tropius was enjoying the gathering very much. Nyx seemed pretty set on watching his back like that too, and Neo hoped that he'd be able to return the favor in the future.

"Aw, well I don't want to leave you lonely..." Neo said, ears twitching as the Fennekin gave him permission to go. Still, she didn't seem as nervous as before, and he did want to go introduce himself to that Meowstic... "I guess I should probably meet a few other people while I'm here though," he admitted reluctantly. "But hey! Definitely come by some time. We still don't have an official nameplate on the door or anything, but just look for the doorknob with a card that says 'Team Essence' hanging from it, and you'll be able to find us there! And of course you should come too Salvatore, if you like." Neo nodded, satisfied. Hopefully they'd take him up on the offer--it'd be nice to see them again. "It was great meeting you both too," he said with a smile, "And you can always come find me later if you start feeling too lonely!" With that, he gave one last wave and slipped into the crowd, eyes peeled for any sign of the other Meowstic.

Neo made his way through the group carefully, doing his best to avoid treading on toes and tails, and was nearly barreled over by a Linoone for his troubles. When the Normal Type rushed by it sent the Meowstic reeling backward, spinning on the spot in a comical pirouette. "Ow..." he muttered, rubbing his right shoulder where he'd been hit, and looking around for any sign of the culprit. He didn't want to cause any trouble, but he did want to know what exactly had caused such a reaction; nobody else was running around, so maybe something had spooked the Pokemon? The Psychic was about to give up when suddenly a shriek rent the air in two.

The sound brought the Meowstic to his knees, and he clutched at his ears, pressing them against his skull to keep them from springing up in defense. No, Arceus no! No matter how much it hurt, no matter the fact that his head was pounding and his ears were ringing from the aftershock and he couldn't register any other sounds, he could not resort to that. His hypersensitive hearing was reduced to nothing more than agony in those long moments, and he looked up through watery eyes as he tried to find the source of it--but to no avail. The Psychic put his head down, never removing his paws from his ears, and a soft whimper escaped him. For all he'd been taught in his youth about how to enhance his hearing, he'd never learned how to prepare himself for loud, continual, high-pitched frequencies like this: the result was the blind terror and helplessness the Meowstic was feeling now. Please Arceus, make it stop!

Nyx

Nyx nodded, listening to Peter's thoughts on his theory with quiet interest. "Precisely," he said, quite pleased with the Charmander's analysis. "It's not a foolproof method by any means, but it's certainly something that has the potential to yield some fascinating results." The other Fire Type was science-minded it would seem, and the Vulpix was no stranger to the language of science himself, so he found it quite apt to employ it here. After all, communication was easiest when conversation partners drew from commonalities.

The vulpine Fire Type tilted his head, filled with curiosity after hearing Peter recount his first meeting. "How curious," he said, "Outrage at such a minor offense..." Nyx considered the tale for a long moment. "I could understand such a reaction if you'd surmised correctly, but there seems little reason for it if she didn't seem disturbed by the idea in the first place." The Vulpix paused again, running several possible scenarios through his mind. "Perhaps she was reflecting on some happenstance from her earlier mission that was troubling her," he offered. "That's what I believe to be the case regarding the interactions between myself and my own partner up to this point. There's little else I can think of to serve as an explanation." It was plausible that the Charmander's partner had taken some other sort of offense to what he said, but it was usually flattering for a Pokemon to have its evolution noticed, so Nyx found it difficult to believe that Mercy would by troubled by Peter's expectation that she'd be unevolved like himself. It would have been the perfect opportunity for a headstrong Pokemon (like Peter made her out to be) to demonstrate her personal capabilities. Nyx shrugged, leaving the matter lie for the time being. "Whatever the case, that does sound quite off-putting. It's a shame we both were met with such complications. I suppose we can only hope the future will be more promising."

No sooner had Nyx finished his statement than the shrieking started, causing the Vulpix to flinch in a mixture of pain and surprise. He recovered quickly, the expression of shock fading from his gaze after a moment as his eyes narrowed, scouring the hall for the Pokemon responsible for disrupting his conversation. He did not take kindly to those who interfered with his personal matters--which included, but were not limited to, his conversations with others. The Vulpix couldn't find the source of the sound from his brief scan of the room, but he did notice something troubling: his partner had left the Fennekin and Tropius he'd been chatting with, and was nowhere to be seen. Immediately Nyx's hackles raised, sensing that something was wrong with the Meowstic for reasons he didn't care to explain. Fighting back a growl that lingered in his throat, the Vulpix did his best to maintain a semblance of calm. "Peter..." he said softly, the gravity of his current tone sharply contrasting with his lighter conversational tone from before, "You don't happen to see my partner anywhere, do you? The Meowstic." It wasn't him screaming--Nyx had heard enough of Neo's voice to know that much--but that didn't mean his partner was out of danger. Since he couldn't see the attacker, victim, or his partner, that meant they must be in close proximity to one another, and the Vulpix had strong doubts that Neo could be the one causing any Pokemon to cry out like this.

Members Present: Keivera & Arlyn

When Keivera and Arlyn had first entered the room, just seconds ago, things had been rather peaceful. She had just lowered her head to look at Arlyn and say something when the ear piercing metallic scream filled the room. Immediately, she jerked her head up to look around the room to find the source of the disturbance. It didn't take long for her to spot a furry body rolling around on the floor. It was easy for her to see since she was 6 foot 3 inches tall and towered over most, if not all, of the other pokemon present.

Arlyn cringed and covered his sensitive ears. Arlyn let out his own squeal. "What is that?! Make it stop!" For Arlyn, the sound was practically incapacitating because of his heightened sense of hearing. If he could have curled into more of a ball than he already physically was, he would have.

Keivera glanced at her partner and frowned. There was nothing she could do for him other than go and see what was going on. Without a word, she changed her focus and barreled into the room trying her best not to knock anyone over as she headed for the rolling furry mass. She couldn't identify the mass, but the sound seemed to be coming from it. This meeting had just gone horribly, horribly wrong.

▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬( Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ )▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬

Serena watched as the Meowstic had turned tail, and left to go meet other Pokemon. She smiled, as she watched him disappear into the crowd and continued to look for more to greet herself. There were so many Pokemon now, literally she didn't even know where to start, and it seemed like everyone already had someone to greet. But that didn't stop her, she was determined to meet as much as she possibly could. As she began to continue searching, an extremely loud shrill rang through her sensitive fox ears, and it was so extraordinarily painful that she just lie down on the ground, holding onto her ears desperately, tears shooting out of her eyes from the pain within her tears, gritting her teeth as hard as she possibly could.

"What's going on??"
The Fennekin shouted in confusement. She wanted to look around and find the culprit, but she couldn't find the strength to remove her paws from her head and ears to look up and find where it was coming from.
Salvatore towered over the small Fennekin, trying to block as much sound from her as he possibly could. He scanned the area, for whomever was shrieking as closely as he could. Luckily for him, he didn't have ears, but he could still hear it perfectly clear, and it did hurt quite a lot but he didn't show it at all. There were far too many Pokemon scattered everywhere, he couldn't find a clear spot to search. He became angered quite a bit, this shriek had to be coming from something small. And he was tall enough to see clearly, but he couldn't tell which one it was exactly.
"Stay still, Serena. I'm looking."
Serena could barely hear her partner from all the sounds blocking every other noise being made, but she could almost make out what he was saying, and continued to lie on the floor, waiting for it to stop as he had instructed or so thats what she thought she heard.

Veilmys & Barcel
"What in blazes is that infernal noise?! KNOCK IT OFF!"
With a short hobble of a walk an Empoleon stepped into the Main Hall just behind where Veilmys was calmly sitting and observing the guild. Or he WAS before some horrific sound sent him flinching upward in a panic before he realized the source of it. His pink and white fur was ruffled and bristled along his spine and he unhappily tilted his head to try and lick it back down into pristine order.
"Oh Barcel, relax. One of the members just got startled!"
Once he located the source of the sound, ignoring the disgruntled dual type for now, Veilmys would quickly bounce over and with his ribbons lashing out gather up the Linoone who clung so desperately to the screaming Carbink.
It only took two of his flowy appendages to hold the mischievous normal type, the other two wound around the Carbink to console it.
"Now now, there will be none of that~"
From the base of each bow adorning his head and chest a soft pink glow began to spread outward down the length of each ribbon and the Calm Mind he had conjured forth pooled about the area he sat and extended outward across the room.
"Attention please, darlings! I'm pleased to see you all getting along, but I do feel it is proper to introduce you to your commanding team!" He set Bink loose once the mayhem had settled but kept a tight loop of ribbons around Tobias who he held suspended over his head. The guildmaster was all smiles and courtesy, choosing to ignore the Linoone for now.
"The grump here is Barcel, he is the head of the Treasure Hunters!"
At the introduction the Empoleon gave an annoyed grunt and turned to glare at the Sylveon who pretended not to notice at all.

Gale
The Pikachu listened intently in such a way it was clear he was paying attention. Sometimes people falsified their interest to be polite but that was hardly polite in his mind, no, he much preferred actually trying to take in the words of others. Let it sink down into his mind where he could mull it over properly. Of all the things Gale was he was not 'fake'.
"I like it fine." The electric mouse replied with a sincere smile, "It's not what I'm us-"
His blue eyes widened and then suddenly shut at the alarming sound the filled the room only to watch with vast relief as it toned down to a low hum and a pink 'mist' of some kind began to drift about the room. It was oddly soothing and he lost his train of thought immediately before recalling he was in mid-conversation and turning to offer Jessica a sheepish smile.
"I didn't know Carbink could scream like that, that Linoone...why would he scare it?"

Silver

"Oh no. I was told a Paras named Erinn was my new partner for me team, you see. As you are named Erinn and the only Paras present I quickly deduced it was you!"
The Espeon's smile seemed to widen, if that were possible, and his tail flicked nonchalantly behind him as he settled down onto his stomach, forepaws stretched out so they formed a sort of barrier on either of the insect's side. If he wanted to get away he would have to back up.
As the adorable bug sputtered on the Psychic listened intently yet his smile slowly began to fade at the words he heard. By the time his real name slipped through those orange mandibles he was frowning.
"...yes. I would be. You are...one of them aren't you? From the past guild. One of its old members."
Ah, perhaps not quite as young as he looked then! It was hard to tell with Bug types, they didn't age too visible. What, with those exoskeletons and such.
The sound that so quickly rang out through the room only made his ears flicker upward before he slammed down a protect shield around both himself and his orange acquaintance and cut it off with all the finesse of a conductor ending his orchestra.
"Your name rings a bell...what team were you from?" The Espeon's blue eyes were narrowed briefly but not in malevolence, but focus.

Robin
Jessica & Tobias

Oh my god... Jessica resisted the urge to shove her face into her hand. Pretend like you don't know him. It'll be much better this way. "I've... heard that some Linoone have an uncontrollable urge to grab shiny round things. He was probably just following his instincts." She was going to burn his nails off for this if she managed to catch him. "But it looks like it worked out just fine. You were saying that you weren't used to the guilds? Where are you from?" Quickly, divert the conversation. Anything to avoid having to admit that he was her partner. Anything.

Tobias, meanwhile, didn't care. He didn't care about the screeching, he didn't care about the stares. He didn't care about anything at all so long as he had his little paws on the Carbink. It was beautiful and perfect and he wasn't going to let it go. At least, that wasn't his plan. But try as he might, not matter how he attempted to dig his claws into the glowing little rock he couldn't get a grip. He nearly began screeching himself in inarticulate rage but the calm mind put an end to that. What the calm mind didn't put an end to was his constant struggling and flailing which he refused to stop no matter how hard he tried. It wasn't a matter of something like strength, it was a matter of leverage. He simply couldn't resist Veilmys' grip.

Serrin quietly stepped out not that long after Barcel did and settled down near Veilmys. He waited patiently for things to settle down, at least as best they could and then quickly introduced himself. "My name is Serrin. I am the head of the Rescue branch of this guild. I am not here to be your friend but I will listen to you if you come speak to me. If you need advice, I will grant it. If you need to ask questions, I will answer them. If you have grievances with the guild then I will address them. My room is open at all times of the day, just knock as best you can. I came to this guild at the request of a friend to help and the only thing that I am beholden to is the success of this institution. I will do what it takes to achieve that, starting with the members of this guild."

With his introduction complete, Serrin turned and left. He already knew from the fact that Veilmys was holding up a frantic Linoone that he really didn't want to be here. If someone wanted him, they knew where he was.

Claudius

The Aurorus made his way into the hall behind his coworkers, prompted by Veilmys's instructions. He would have preferred it if the Sylveon had waited until the commotion died down before starting the introductions--as things stood currently, he doubted whether half of the members would be able to process their words, let alone remember their names and positions. Ah well. Veilmys had never been one to let complications get in the way of his plans, and the Calm Mind, at least, was a nice touch. He'd assumed control with unparalleled ease, just as a Guildmaster should; Claudius could forgive his hastiness in light of that fact.

He took his place behind the others, his height making it almost impossible for the Aurorus to be missed, and waited until Serrin and Ver were finished before offering his own introduction. "My name is Claudius, and it is my duty to oversee the Explorers of the Guild." His voice was deep and low, but surprisingly soft for someone so large, and he smiled down at the Pokemon present when he spoke. "I'd like to extend my congratulations to all of our new members. I hope that you all will feel free to come to me or any of my coworkers if you ever encounter any difficulties during your time here, and I look forward to working with each of you in the future."

A nod indicated that he was finished, after which Claudius bent his head down to level with Veilmys and the Linoone still struggling against the Sylveon's firm hold. He fixed his quiet stare on the Normal Type, watching him writhe helplessly--for such a small creature, the Pokemon was making quite the scene. "Would you like a hand with him?" the Aurorus asked, turning his gaze to Veilmys after a moment. "We wouldn't want your ribbons to get tangled."

Erinn

There was something terribly intimidating about the way the Espeon barred him in, smiling all the while as though it were some sort of game. Erinn tried to make himself smaller, wishing desperately that he'd left while he still could. He was curious about the connection between his and Silver's past to be sure, but curiosity was easily forgotten when faced with something as terrifying as that set of teeth the Psychic kept flashing. Fortunately, the name seemed to strike a chord with the Espeon, wiping the smile from the Pokemon's face; unfortunately for Erinn, the Paras found that the Espeon's frown was just as unsettling as his smile.

He hardly had the chance to register the screaming sound, it was cut off so quickly by Silver's Protect, but the barrier was enough to send shivers down his spine in spite of himself. Protect normally seemed like such a well-meaning move, but now it cut him and the Espeon off from everyone else: there was truly no escaping him now. "T-T-T-Team MistMelody," he stuttered nervously, not daring to take his eyes off of Silver for a moment. "I th-think you met my former Leader once. Her name was--is--Era. Sh-She talked about you sometimes, so I g-guess I remembered your name from that when I saw you back then." Please don't hurt me... The more he thought about it, the clearer the memory was: Era had been quite taken with the off-colored Espeon, which must have been why he'd been able to recall Silver's name. She'd even mentioned him a few times in more recent years, when the Paras had stayed with them before going off on his own. The Pikachu would sometimes ponder what had happened to the Pokemon she hadn't seen since that fateful day, and Silver's was one of the many names that lingered on that list.

Erinn hoped he'd given enough of an explanation to satisfy the Psychic. If Silver remembered Era with even some of the fondness she'd remembered him with, then hopefully there wouldn't be any bad blood between the two of them. The Paras's heart fluttered and his legs shifted nervously beneath him as he watched the Espeon for any indication of recognition or hostility. His options were limited since he had no place to run, but his anxieties were high, pumping adrenaline through his system and making him ready to react to anything the other Pokemon might do at a moment's notice.

Mercy - Peter

Peter grinned, perhaps for the first time in a few months. Pokemon who understood him were unfortunately far and few in between. Not that he could hold it against him- not many were as privileged as he was with a gift for speech and a want for reading. It was the least that he could do to avoid a sense of superiority, though. That was his struggle. "I'm sure that the Guildmaster has his reasons. He wouldn't be our leader if he wasn't knowledgeable."

"Then again," Peter mused, his flame swishing idly in the air, "It might have been something else that I had said and just didn't notice. The conversation was very rapid, and I can't recall the most of it, so that is a possibility." The Charmander smiled somewhat bitterly. He was just about to agree whole-heartedly with the Vulpix when a loud screech emanated throughout the hall. Peter winced sharply, taking a step backwards while glancing around the room for the source of the sound.

Peter's eyes widened for just a moment when Nyx asked him if he could see the Meowstic that had been accompanying the Vulpix earlier. The fire-type turned his head, trying to get a clear view of the room. Fortunately, since everyone had been alarmed by the sudden screech, it was slightly easier than it would have been otherwise. "I- I'm afraid I don't. Why do you ask? Is there an emergency, or?" Peter began to get anxious, rocking forward onto his feet to try and get a better view to scan the room. What did that particular Meowstic look like, again?

Okay, so this Luxio definitely had issues. Mercy was beginning to side-eye him again. He bounced in between stoicism and anxiety with a snap. The female Luxio was just about go and try and find Peter so that she could talk to him when Cimm began to carry the conversation as well. "Mmh, that's all good and well, but maybe she'll be affected by your oh-so serious attitude, hmm?" Mercy grinned, baring her fangs ever so slightly.

Mercy watched in the utmost confusion when Cimm began to go on high alert, glancing around the entire room at her comment. "I- I didn't actually mean that there were bad Pokemon- I was just saying that-" Mercy never got to finish her sentence, because an ear-piercing shriek rang out through the hall. The electric-type flinched, small sparks unintentionally flying. Her head turned wildly as she tried to find the source of the scream. "Okay, so maybe there are weirdos, but not real evil Pokemon..."

Her eyes locked onto a badger-like Pokemon grabbing onto a rock-type. The Guildmaster instantly went to break them up, and in the same period, the Sylveon introduced the head of the Treasure Hunters, a very intimidating looking Empoleon. "Mother of Arceus. He's- wow. Why is he not the Guildmaster?" Mercy gestured subtly at the water and steel type, her eyes wide.

Keivera didn't even make it all the way to the rolling ball of fur before Guild Master Veilmys had stepped in and separated the two involved. Seeing that things had already been taken care of, Keivera slowed down and stopped a few feet away from where the guild master, furry creature, and unidentifiable rock were. Now that they were separated, Keivera was able to identify the fur ball as a Linoone. The rock, however, she wasn't sure about. She had never seen a pokemon of that species before. As the pink glow of the Calm Mind began to sweep out across the room from where Veilmys was standing, Keivera could feel her adrenalin levels drop, and so she relaxed.

When the Calm Mind wave finally reached him, Arlyn let out a sigh of relief. That dreadful noise was gone. Its painful effects slowly began to fade as the soft pink light washed over him. Opening his eyes, he began to look around for Keivera. He had felt her leave his side shortly after the noise had started, however, he had been unable to follow her. The scream had been too painful. Standing here without his captain, the little Marill felt exposed. Slowly, he began to make his way through the crowd to look for his friend.

As Veilmys spoke, Keivera turned her attention to him. So, this was the exact reason for the meeting. He had wanted everyone to meet the heads of the guild. This, she thought, was a good thing. As both the Empoleon and Venusaur spoke, she listened and noted their names as well as which part of the guild they headed. Then, as the Venusaur disappeared back down the hall he had come from, she felt tiny paws grip her lower right front leg; it was a familiar sensation. Just to be certain, she looked down only to discover that her memory served correctly; Arlyn had found his way to her side and was now clutching her leg in his tiny paws.

Arlyn didn't make eye contact with Keivera as he finally found her and latched onto her leg to inform her he was there. His attention was focused on the rock type on the ground not far from Veilmys. He assumed that it was the source of the noise that had pained him. Then his gaze turned to the Linoone still clutched securely above Veilmys' head by virtue of two of the Guild Master's ribbons. The Linoone was struggling against the ribbon's grip, but he wasn't going anywhere. Arlyn wondered what could have possibly happened. Had there been a fight? Were rude and hateful words exchanged before the Linoone lost his temper? He didn't know the answer to these questions, but he would inquire about it later. Arlyn shifted his attention to Keivera first, and met her gaze. After a slight nod, Arlyn turned to look at the guild heads just as the Venusaur walked off and the Aurorus began speaking.

After Arlyn's nod in her direction, Keivera too turned her attention back to the leaders. So, this Aururus was the head over the Explorers. She would make it a point to go by and introduce Arlyn and herself to him later. First, there were questions she wished to have answered.
