The Guild of Eclipse
User Image
The Guild of Eclipse, established by Veilmys Eclipse.
It serves as a central government for the region of the same name and was recently reestablished after having been disbanded 25 years ago due to a great war that decimated the entire system.

It is run by one Guildmaster and four Heads who are each in charge of one of the four sub-groups of the guild.

Name: Veilmys Eclipse [Name pronounced 'Veil' 'Mist']

Age: 25 years old

Gender: Male

Species: Sylveon

Rank: Guildmaster of Eclipse

Moveset: Sylveon Moveset Lvl +50
-

Personality: Despite his youthful air and his cheerful demeanor, Veil is a most stern and intelligent commander. He did not obtain his status through his family hierarchy as his blood line has done in the past. Rather, he re-established the guilds himself quite some years after their initial fallout.
Through hard work and determination he had them rebuilt from the foundation up and fought for his right to act as guildmaster over it.

While a generally amicable and laid-back fellow he is quick to remind others that he is, in fact, their leader and not one to be taken lightly.

Bio: Veilmys was born some time after the previous guilds fell apart, his father having been the leader of one of the five. The decision had been made after a vicious and heated battle nearly caused the entire region to collapse and the guilds were found to have been a great source of the chaos that cursed the land.
It soon became apparent that even without the guilds their land was wrought with devastation and some form of central government was needed.
Upon evolving and reaching the ambitious age of 20, Veilmys sought to restore the guilds and instead opted to have one primary guild to serve the land.
He is adamant in that the guilds can better serve the region under a stricter guidance and a more firm hand. He hand selected his associates who serve under him and will not stand for anything short of complete peace in his goals.

His parents, leaders of the original Guild of Eclipse, act as his advisers when asked though he prefers to go to his mother for anything of dire importance.

Name: Ver
Age: 43
Gender: Male
Species: Flareon
Guild Group: Mercenary
Rank: Mercenary Primus
Moveset:
- Flareon Moveset Lvl +50, Endure
- Wild Charge, Dark Pulse, Thunder Fang, Calm Mind, Iron Tail. . .

Personality:
As a teen, Ver was a carefree troublemaker to the most of which the boundaries of the guild system could be pushed like many others of his age. The Flareon was a renoun womanizer and hardly shy in his actions, though most of his unfavorable habits would leave him over time with the death of his team leader. A shock of reality and trauma alike, Ver was quick to grow into a fairly stern and dedicated leader both out of spite and will to make a difference in the world. To this day, the Flareon has similar habits, if not more concrete. While he has an often quiet and stern outside, Ver enjoys his free time, sparring and socializing with others. He's never a one hard to approach on his off time, but bother him needlessly otherwise, and chances are you've earned yourself a snappy comment regarding getting back to your duties.

Bio:
Ver was born and raised in a nomadic pack of various Eeveelution before a shift in power divided the group as quickly as the challenge took place. The Eevee carried on with his mother, brother, and a select few others for a number of years before leaving on his own for reasons unstated per request, though the question itself seems to make the Flareon uneasy. it was in his early teens that the young and fresh fire type joined the guilds in it's prime under an already developed team that went by the name of Starbreak, run by a small Glaceon by the name of Sai. Due to the unfortunate and sudden death of their leader during a largescale guild mission, the Flareon had little choice but to rise to take the role of leadership into the great war taking place over the land. It was over a long, stressful year that Ver grew into a dedicated and overall helpful leader.
At the fall of the guild, the remainder of their small team that'd survived the battle had broken up and all had gone their own separate ways due to lack of willpower, interest, and social connection between the few alike. It wasn't a depressing or unfortunate outcome, but a respectable and understood one in the Flareon's eyes.

Like many other veterans requested to return so many years later down the line, Ver was few to eagerly accept such an invitation, and the battle hardened, determined Fire type stood up to the role of Mercenary leadership with the everlasting spark in his eye to fix everything that'd gone wrong, with or without his teammates.

Appearance:
(wip image)
Ver is an average sized Flareon with an otherwise bulky and powerful build from years of previous guild work and then some. He has an unusual appearance of white and black coloring (that has begun to grey with age) and his four legs each bear two white bands part ways up from his white paws. His raggy, white hair covers his bandaged right eye, which is missing entirely due to a previous battle within the guilds prior to their fall.

A petite Glaceon, ridiculously small when compared to the giant of a Flareon who is head of the Mercenary. Ivy is slim and elegant, her tail is a bushy plume of fur and her Glaceon tendrils are tied into neat little braids. Unlike most Glaceon she is not encrusted with ice and her 'helm' is a messy bit of fur that sits atop her head, curling into silly little coils.
At the base of her tail she wears a pink ribbon and around her neck is adorned a collar that contains a NeverMeltIce.

Name: Ivy ['Sun That Rises Over Fields of Ivy'] Eclipse
Age: 37
Gender: Female
Species: Glaceon
Guild Group: Mercenary
Rank: Head Assistant
Moveset:
- Glaceon Moveset Lvl +50
- Flamethrower, Shockwave, Helping Hand, Dazzling Gleam, Echoed Voice...

Personality:
A sweet and serene Pokemon, Ivy loves socializing and usually acts as Ver's proxy in such events where one must talk and mingle with the guild.
She adores meeting others and has a fondness for younger Pokemon due to her mothering nature.

Bio:
Cousin to current Guildmaster Veilmys, Ivy's mother was his father's sister; an Umbreon with a somewhat unwarranted reputation.
In their youth her mother Selena and Veilmys father Solaris competed to see who would reign over the guilds as its leader, with Solaris rising victorious.
Despite the bad blood in their family she is quite close to her Uncle and cousin and very fond of Epitaph as well.
Ivy has known Ver for some time, the two being close friends in their days in the previous guild before it fell.
Now she works alongside him to maintain the Mercenary Group of the new guild, supplying an articulate and feminine touch that would otherwise be nonexistent due to Very's brash nature.
She basically handles the paperwork and trivial nonsense while he runs around lighting things on fire.
You will see her most often at the end of your mercenary missions.

Name: Serrin

Age: 30 Years Old

Gender: Male

Species: Ivysaur

Rank: Rescue Leader of Eclipse

Moveset: Ivysaur Moveset Lvl +50, & some Psychokinetic capacity
-

Personality: Serrin is almost the exact inverse of the guildmaster Veilmys. His stern and occasionally abrasive exterior gives little in the way of hints as to his genuinely friendly and generous personality. He acts quite thoroughly through his official capacity and is never one to forsake it but he's not an unfriendly person, merely a very harsh and dignified one. He's not above saying the simple and honest truths. Some things need to be said and very few people are willing to say them. His willingness to be one of those few is a facet that he embraced in order to best serve his role as a Rescue Leader. Sometimes, somebody has to die. A few choice words can avert that.

Bio: Serrin was a member of the original guilds, both as a team member and staff. His name and his "self" come from his grandfather, an Ivysaur who lived (and died) the better part of a century prior to the present day. Fortunately or unfortunately for Serrin, he is both cursed and blessed with a lineage that passes on memories from parent to child in addition to a certain amount of psychic energy. Serrin was, once more, both cursed and blessed in this regard; although his psychic powers were nearly nonexistent, it spared him from the agony and strain that the unnatural energies put on his kin.

His grandfather, who is in many parts indistinguishable from his grandson, was a famous explorer and rescuer before the teams even existed. Along with his wife Melissa, a Toxicroak named Alan and a Scyther named Tolin he became a small legend. Unfortunately, the four of them eventually got pulled into a fight they couldn't win and both Serrin and Alan perished. Melissa was left as little more than a broken shell of her former self. Tolin was left alive with a broken scythe. Melissa never recovered and eventually perished under the strain of her own psychic capabilities.

Years later, the Ivysaur presently known as Serrin found his way to Tolin in the form of an egg sent by a mutual friend named Marianna. He joined the guilds then as a member and eventually chose to sacrifice the current instance of his "self" in favour of embracing the history of his grandfather as he felt it was a necessity at the time. It's hard to say if that choice was the right one but Serrin's intellectually sturdier capacity led to him being a pillar of support for Tolin, who eventually worked his way up to becoming the de facto leader of the entire guild structure. After the end of a quiet and unspoken war some time later, Serrin was officially promoted to the second-in-command of the former Guild of Eclipse, where he worked to keep Solaris Eclipse in line.

His current position within the new guild is to help supervise new members undertaking key roles and was undertaken at the request of Veilmys. He chose this role under the belief that it would be Rescue teams who would bring a measure of peace to the region and, perhaps more importantly, spread the name of the Guild.

Name: Claudius Aeolus

Age: 37

Gender: Male

Species: Aurorus

Guild Group: Explorers

Rank: Director of Exploration Eminence of Exploration
Why do you insist on calling me that?
Is there a problem Your Eminence?
...

Moveset: Aurorus Moveset Lvl +50

Personality: It's rare to find a Pokemon as devoted to their job as Claudius. Serious to a fault during work hours, the Aurorus refuses to put up with nonsense when there is research to be done, and, with his considerable height, he can be quite intimidating when he wants to be. When the day is done however, you'll find that he can be an interesting and even entertaining conversation companion, happy to chat with most anyone about anything, and (if you're lucky) maybe even sharing one of the many strange tales from his past explorations. He's tirelessly curious and constantly searches for new information about the civilizations and cultures of Pokemon, which, along with his organization and leadership skills, makes him a perfect candidate for overseeing the Explorers of the Guild. Although often composed and a little intense, Claudius is known for occasional outbursts of child-like excitement when he discovers new findings for his research.

Bio: Claudius was born with a thirst for knowledge and insight that only intensified with age. In his Amaura years he devoted himself to learning, spending every minute of his spare time absorbing knowledge about the world around him. While some of this knowledge came from textbooks and teachers, much of it also came from his his own expeditions out into the world around him. He would spend a good portion of his free time on these so-called "field explorations", a term that greatly amused his parents, and he meticulously cataloged his findings on whatever paper he could find, creating a sizeable collection of notes by the time he reached his teenage years. He's never thrown out any of his journals, even the ones from his youngest years, claiming that there's insight to be found through the eyes of a child.

When he evolved, Claudius left home to pursue his passions full time, striking out on his own to see what he could see of the world. He was not disappointed. Over the course of his travels the Aurorus ran into any number of places and Pokemon, passing through towns and documenting his discoveries as he went. His journals continued to increase in size and number, carried in a careworn satchel he wore about his neck. Although he made many a friend and learned a good deal from his trips to places mapped across the country, his favorite expeditions always took him off the beaten path and into uncharted territory. Sometimes he'd be met with hostility from natives who had gone out of their way to remain unobserved, sometimes with hospitality from those who wanted to learn what he had to tell them about the larger parts of civilization, and sometimes with no Pokemon at all, only ruins that spoke of a different time and place from his own. Every now and then he would find a like-minded Pokemon and travel with them for a while, but for the most part he preferred to travel alone, finding that it allowed him more time to appreciate and document his findings. Every few years Claudius would return to his home for a while, making time for a few weeks of intensive research before he'd set off to the edges of the map once again. It was on one such occasion that he met Veilmys Eclipse.

Many years prior to the creation of the Guild, the Sylveon and Aurorus met at the Library, when they found themselves searching for the same book to borrow. A pleasant conversation sprung up between the two then, and Claudius found himself impressed by the boy's intellectual curiosity and dedication, seeing something of himself in the then-Eevee. From then on the pair arranged meetings whenever Claudius returned to town, sometimes talking for days about their recent projects. Around the time that Veilmys first brought up his idea for recreating the Guild system, Claudius found himself at the end of his most recent journal, his exploration of a certain set of ruins finally drawing to a close. When he was offered his position as the head of exploration he readily agreed, once Veilmys promised he'd still have the chance to do fieldwork despite his other obligations: the Guild would be as good a place as any to begin a fresh book.

Appearance: Although he's a textbook Aurorus in appearance, you'll never catch him without his signature burgundy-colored scarf, often worn about his neck like a cravat. When asked about it, he'll tell you that it's been useful to him on many occasions, and, from how worn and disheveled it looks close up, you can't help but believe the stories he gives in explanation.

A primarily red and black Empoleon of somewhat small size; at least in comparison to Empoleon in general.
The 'crown' on his head is chipped and he's missing his left arm. Rather, he's placed a replica of the shield on his right arm there to cover the missing appendage.
Name: Barcel Elexsion

Age: 71

Gender: Male

Species: Empoleon

Guild Group: Treasure Hunters

Rank: Treasury Overseer

Moveset: Empoleon Moveset Lvl. 50+

Personality: Barcel is gruff and somewhat rude in nature if only because he doesn't see the need to sugar-coat things. He is a skilled tactician of warfare and an equally skilled blacksmith, being well versed in most all weaponry and how to use them as well.
He dislikes those who 'beat around the bush' and is a Pokemon of action more than a Pokemon of discussion.
He is rather intelligent though he rarely bothers with idle conversation so his wit is lost to most.

Bio: Barcel comes from a long line of blacksmith, legends even state his ancestral line once made a blade that could not only kill a Legendary in on hit, but cleave any object in half with little effort.
Raised alongside a Flygon who would be his partner throughout life, the Empoleon inherited his families smithy but would soon realize that creating weapons that killed was not something he wanted to do.
Not long after becoming a blacksmith like his father before him he retired and made a garden to keep him busy in his idle times.

One thing lead to another and he somehow found himself wrapped up in the politics of the guild who asked for his aid. Barcel agreed and he and his partner, Scarlet the Flygon, joined the guilds to assist in their battles.
Barcel was soon placed as the third in command to the highest ranking of the guilds, but after losing Scarlet in the final battle he went into retirement moments before the guilds themselves disbanded.

No one is sure exactly how he was convinced to rejoin the newly established guilds under Veilmys' rule, but here he is.
