The chibi kitsune veiled itself in a mystic like aura, rising above the ground before a loud "Poof" could be heard. It appears there was a problem with the transformation since volpeo remained in his current form.
"Did I made it? Am I bigger now young maiden?"
Asked the chibi fox, waving his puffy tail from side to side as he stared with his bright eyes expecting Kohaku's answer with excitement.
OoC: aww it's kay, least you had fun rights? > .<

Kohaku's amusement nearly came to an end as it seemed Volpeo nearly completed his transformation successfully. She was happy when the mystic fog cleared and a very cute Volpeo remained but once he asked her if it had been successful she felt conflicted in a way. Just looking at the adorably excited kitsune was proving to be a bigger weakness than she expected. How could she break Volpeo's heart by telling him it hadn't worked. "O-Oh, um. Maybe try again later?"
(OOC// Tons. I have no idea why but I just imagined Volpeo calling Sagami "That stupid tengu brat")
Spells/Powers: + Kagura – Kohaku performs a few hand signals that will allow her to do one of three things: - Surround herself with a magical energy. Performing this version will heal her (or others). - Gain a momentary defensive barrier. It will withstand a few hits before it dispels. - Gain a significant attack boost (Only lasts about 5 posts). + Spirit Familiar - Kohaku can summon a spirit familiar (usually a fox) to come to her aid. The familiar only lasts for a limited period of time (10 to 15 posts). + Healing - Kohaku can restore living things to their optimal health, curing broken or withered plants, wounds, broken bones, and low vitality. She can’t raise the dead. + Nature Manipulation - Kohaku can control/tap into elements of nature, including air, fire, water, earth, etc. Her strength is in water and ice. Use of other elements will quickly exhaust her. + Light energy - Kohaku can manipulate light and attack opponents with concentrated balls or beams of light energy. It's rather weak but good for melee.
The ears of the miniature fox twitched as his tail stopped waving when Kohaku gave her answer.
"Whaaat? But I did my best young maiden, I really did >///<"
The little fox was embarrassed but his heart didn't had time to shard into pieces since he was quickly tackled by the other familiar to play tag with, which made volpeo drop de subject almost immediately, he was too easy to distract in his current form.
"Wait, no fair, Young maiden, tell her she's cheating >..<"
Demanded the chibi kitsune before chasing after the other familiar.
OoC: perhaps volpeo develops a pet complex while in this form, then Sagami pays a visit, and is really friendly towards Hirano which makes volpeo grow jealous towards Sagami and being all over protetive of Young maiden, then, perhaps he may use those words upon the tengu XD

"It's fine, Volpeo. You don't have to try so hard." she assured the kitsune. Kohaku wasn't sure if the words would reach him as her familiar tackled Volpeo in an attempt to resume their game of tag. She ended laughing too hard to hear Volpeo's request. It was just too cute for her too handle. The amount she could handle was on the edge of exceeding its limits.
{OOC// Plot twist: Volpeo is Sagami's foster father. LOLOLOL. Nah.}

Hours later, both familiars cuddled up next to their master for an easy noon. The familiar's and Volpeo's ears twitched every now and then when the wind chimes rang from time to time.
"zzzz zzzz"
The view was really cozy as both kitsunes seemed to be really comfortable around the young maiden.
"zzzz.zzzz.zz...squirrel! >..< zzzz zzzz zz"
Shouted briefly the chibi kitsune before turning on the other side and cuddle a little closer against Kohaku.
OoC: Yus, and then we'll know that Sagami's real mother was the Young maiden's evil twin sister which seduced a crow god in exchange of the secrets of the dark arts that crows guard in the nether realm. which was also the evil entity that Volpeo lured out from his homeland. And ... and... they will become a happy family with tons of children and Kohaku will spoil them all without revealing she has a secret lover no one knows > . <

Much time had passed and, as expected, the two kitsunes became exhausted quickly. Just like newborn kittens, the two curled up against her, snuggling up for a nap. Kohaku felt as if she too could go for a nap, possible for a century. It had been an extremely tiring day for them. Hopefully, a day such as this would not repeat itself. Carefully extracting herself from the slumbering kitsunes, Kohaku made her way to the kitchen to prepare a simple supper for the three.
{OOC// Well, that took a dark twist.}

With a swift, yet delicate move, the maiden had released herself from the kitsunes and went out for a supper. It took longer for Volpeo to realize she was gone, mostly since the eldest familiar would stand up and take the maiden's place next to Volpeo so he could cuddle up a little longer.
"zzzz zzzz"
With that, Kohaku would had enough time to finish the suppers and have some quality time for herself without being drowned in familiars like Volpeo usually does whenever he's awake.
When enough time had passed, the chibi kitsune would found himself being groomed by the familiar as a mother to a cub.
"N-not today Elder... just 5 more minutes..."
Pleaded volpeo as the familiar groomed the kitsune until he had no other choice but to join the awakened. With sleepy eyes, he would seek around, finding no trace of the elder. And finding this familiar instead which made his ears twitch lightly in surprise. Trying to remember as the familiar continued cleaning the small kitsune, the image of Kohaku with a bright smile showed up in his mind. Waving his tail from side to side in excitement, the chibi kitsune sprinted from his current location and the familiar right after him. Running from room to room on the shrine looking for the young maiden.
As he did, Kohaku would surely be the first one to know, as he stroked his fur against her leg, with a soft purr added to it, almost like a kitten.
OoC: lols, maybe a little too dark? oh I never got the quote notification D: sorry for keeping you waiting this long > . <

Trying to decide what to cook, Kohaku suddenly remembered that kitsunes especially liked inari sushi. Deciding on making that, she set of to work. It was turning out to be a good amount of work but it looked like it was coming out quite well. Luckily that the two were asleep or else she wouldn't be able to concentrate on cooking. It seemed her luck lasted enough to finish cooking and plating the food because before she knew it, Volpeo was back at her feet. "Ah, you woke up just in time. I just finished cooking. I made some inari sushi for all three of us." As if one cue, her usual familiar had also showed up in the kitchen. "Alright, let's go eat outside on the porch." Walking outside, she set two plates side by side for the two kistunes and sat down holding her own. "Itadakimasu."

Sniffing at the air, he could tell whatever the maiden was cooking was indeed delicious. His curious eyes laid upon Kohaku while she finished packing for the porche, explaining the origin of this mysterious aroma.
"Oh? Inari sushi? Oh boy I can't wait"
The chibi kitsune would run in circles out of expectation, jumping a few times trying to snatch a bite before they got to the porsche with no success, yet that wouldn't seem to stop him from trying.
"Can I try some? I would really like to... can I young maiden? please? Can I?"
He was forced to use the deadly cute eyes of cub against the maiden, fortunatelly for Kohaku, the familiar arrived just in time to carry the small cub like a baby fox to keep a safe distance from the over cuteness before Kohaku turned into diabetes.
Once the maiden left the plates for the familiars, then and only then, the familiar would lower its head to release the eager kitsune cub which ran straight into his bowl waving his tail nonstop as he ate like there was no tomorrow. However, that didn't meant he would finish first since his mouth was too small.

{OOC// Sticking this here because I just kind of wanted it to start off as another day since it has been a while since we last posted together. Hehehe. Sorry, my fault.}
Kohaku snuggled into the warmth of her comforters and something firm that she assumed was one of her pillows. Her pillows tended to be a little stiff; a thing of the past most likely. She opened her eyes slowly, wincing a bit as the light filtered in through the cracks of the screen doors. Too early for morning? Much to early for morning she decided as she closed her eyes, shifting back into a comfortable state of rest. Rolling onto one side, she was met with a large obstruction. Confused, knowing for sure there shouldn't be anything quite that large in the way of her bed, she hesitantly opened her eyes again. Kohaku was met with an unexpected sight. Somewhere during the course of their sleep, Volpeo had transformed back into his humanoid state with her usual familiar sleeping peacefully atop his stomach. It took her a moment to regain her composure and she tried to not make any sudden movements that would awake the two kitsunes.

As the morning sun was slowly reaching for the shrine with it's warm veil, the figure of Volpeo and the familiar would become more noticeable over the maiden's bed. Perhaps during a long and relaxing night of sleep was that Volpeo's spirit would finally regain peace. Being no longer a threat to Kohaku, at least by the moment, the pendant allowed Volpeo to return back to normal. But along with that, his previous behavior was expected to be back as only within that smaller kitsune form was that he became nicer to her, almost like a pet. The gentle rays of sunshine would add a golden glow over his mane as his ears twitched lightly with the fading sting of the sun rays. The morning was rather quiet, as only a songbird could be heard at the distance, but even it's song was peaceful.
OoC: mm okay o wo Just a question. a) Should he wake up half asleep and a mind slightly distanced from reality? b) Should he wake up wide aware of his situation?
a) Leads to Volpeo confusing Kohaku with his wife for a brief instant, being tender and sweet towards her, until he realizes and turns back into "hating" Kohaku.
b) Leads to Volpeo insta "hate" Kohaku as he tries to get her to revert the spell once again.

Kohaku slowly started to attempt to gently wiggle her way out, backwards toward the open side of the bed. She could feel her face become bright red with embarrassment. She wondered why his form fluctuated the way it did. One day it would happen when she least expected it to and she would suffer a panic attack. She was almost certain it would happen. In a way it almost had. "Just a little more." she whispered to herself as she was only inches from being able to completely remove herself from the situation.

Volpeo's face would remain calm, this soothing sensation reminded him of his days back home. To share the bed with Lorelei his wife and his adorable girl Mirna which was Volpeo's adoration. Just as the familiar just now, Mirna tended to cradle on the bed before finally turning into a cub and curl up over his belly. Sure, their scents were so different. But he could faintly remember them. Deep within knowing it wasn't truth, but only his subconscious knew yet couldn't help but to embrace the convenience of this situation. The silent steps of the maiden would wake Volpeo, but remained calmed as "Mirna" was still sleeping. It was truth, Kohaku was just a few steps to be off the bed. But just as her eyes drifted from Volpeo and the familiar, warm hand would reach out for hers. Following the path, the arm belonged to a certain someone. At first view it was clear it was Volpeo, but even so he wasn't being himself at the moment. Drunk between dreams and reality his vision was blurry yet he could distinguish Kohaku's silhouette. Casted upon his poor vission with the light of day. The song bird would keep the silence from spoiling the moment as Volpeo's eyes were accurately laid upon Kohaku's. But rather than yelling, gripping tightly onto her. There was a warm smile awaiting for Kohaku at the opposite side of the bed. "Hello Beautiful..." Volpeo's voice was warm and soft. His body slowly motioned to sit upon the bed. Managing the familiar with such care and delicacy he was able to laid the familiar on the bed without waking it. A gentle stroke over it's fur as he turned back to meet up with Kohaku. "She has grown up a lot hasn't she?" Trapped within a daydream Volpeo approached Kohaku with soft motions. An arm extended to fold gently around her waist, holding her closer, much to Volpeo's content. Within his grasp, there were no ill intent nor foul words. Not a single source of anger detected on the kitsune's mind an soul or the necklace would had turned him back into that smaller form kohaku's mostly used to. "... You've been quite all this time Lorelei, what's wrong?" The kitsune was puzzled, as the hand holding hers released Kohaku from it's graps only to reach for the maiden's cheek with a tender embrace. "Is it because I've been away for so long? Should I do something to compensate?" The songbird continued singing at the distance. His sight was slowly becoming better, but even Kohaku's dark and beautiful hair reminded Volpeo of his wife. "Your scent is different. I like your new perfume." The Kitsune said playfully, even a chuckle or two. "Need to say that I missed you?" Volpeo joked with the maiden with this soft flirt of his. Not minding at this point if the ilussion was broke or not. For him this was still a dream. Fearing himself to wake up any second, he din't lost any time before the songbird's song was sent to a pause.
A brief moment of silence invaded the room. With only the sunlight being brave enough to venture further into the room to unveil this silence. There he was, holding onto his beloved "wife" a simple yet effective remembrance of his feelings towards her. Closing his eyes as he tried to remain "asleep" a little longer, the light would reveal Volpeo's lips attached onto the maiden's. How long did they remained together there wasn't a way to tell. Time ceased to measure the encounter. It could had been seconds, minutes, an hour. However, the songbird would sing once more, and time would take it's normal course. "I love you." The kiss was broken, the silence undone. A confession from Volpeo to his beloved wife. He remained with his eyes closed. Knowing for sure by the time he opened them, he would have been awake and all of this would pass out and become a mere dream. Or so he thought.

There you go, Feel free to wake him up whenever you want >w

Just a little more never came as she felt herself being pulled back by none other than Volpeo. What givess? Kohaku struggled a bit but to no avail could she escape. What was worse was that he was going on and on romantically to her. She didn't know whether to be relieved or not that he had mistaken her for someone else. He was definitely going in and out of consciousness and for some reason it gave Kohaku cause to be worried. Her mind had began forming plans for escape, hopefully none involving injuries. However, her mind had immediately stopped as Volpeo's lips crashed onto hers. She wanted to scream, no, she should have screamed. Instead, what happened next was that she just pushed him back in shock with enough force to push her off the bed completely. Tumbling over and down the bed was the second most painful experience she had probably ever experienced. "Ow, ow, ow, ow. Why, why, why?"

Volpeo's Illusion was broken once Kohaku pushed herself away form him, the sound of her fall on the floor, being what forced Volpeo to open his eyes. "Lorelei!" The kitsune jumped to help her up, but his eyes where catching up quickly and adjusted, revealing Kohaku instead of the silhouette. "Wait... Young maiden what are you doing here?" He inspected the surroundings looking for his wife, but didn't see her anywhere. Neither Mirna, instead he found the familiar still sleeping over the bed. "What are you two doing in my room? And where's my wife? ¬¬" Volpeo was without a doubt confused about his current situation, but things where slowly catching up on him. "Wait!? where's the elder? Did you broke the spell already? ¬¬"
