She counted and answered gingerly, "F-Four months...?" She kinda noticed that she was rather bad in gathering information, so basic stuff like the existence of horseman or fear field she didn't get to know before she met Jordan and paid attention to twitter. Since she learned many from twitter, she was using it as the main source. She was observant but that didn't mean she wasn't careless, so when Taym told her that the wounds will be gone shortly, she was startled.

"Oh! - Ah...." Her eyes rolled left and right, up and down. "Hmm...Ah....that-that -is-right!" She recalled when she fell over the ground, the pain did go away quicker. Like a new discovery, the girl had her eyes widened. "I will probably ask for more advice from Mimsy, she's a Life huntress," she nodded, "Thank you so much today and - and the useful advice!" Shu bowed sincerely to might be replace what should be a hug. "I hope so! I really do!" She said, a bit louder than it needed. "What games do you think he will like? He - seems to - like throwing the eyeball, as I observe." She told Taym what she thought. "I know kittens like chasing after knit balls, but he's a treat, though his action resembles that of cat sometimes...but it's hard to imagine he's chasing after the eyeball, you see..."

He examined the festive bandage without any signs that he was disgusted by the cupcake motif at all--if anything, he seemed pleased by it--and he gave the caged treat a leery glance.

"Mine like to chase after crumpled-up cellophane--typical cats I guess? But I don't know how treats feel. Maybe he'd like a 'fill in the mission report' game or you can make him some tiny trainee action figures to scream and yowl at and knock over, he'd probably be into that." He felt inexplicably abashed about his usual bitter cynicism--Shu made him feel guilty--and so he amended: "With as much effort as you're putting into it, I'm sure he'll come around to just about anything you try." And then because he was Taym, he added grimly: "eventually."

He hesitated, and scooped his coat off the desk to shrug back into it, to wind his scarf around his neck. It must have been terribly warm wandering around the Island in long sleeves under a full coat, but he didn't seem bothered by it--if anything, he seemed relieved to be all swathed up again.

"Thanks for the break in the monotony," he returned, and after a moment of pause he allowed himself to do what the girl had avoided doing with the bow, and gave her a one-armed, friendly, very "but please keep your distance, still" sort of hug.

Because she was Shu, she will take things seriously, too credulous to suspect what people said. "I will try to make figures for him though my handwork is very very awful...." The girl sighed but cheered up as he continued, though she had a minor concern over the faces of the figures. Should she use real people but - but she can't create faces that don't exist? Maybe she should talk with Mimsy for the idea.

She watched him picking up the coat and dressed up, showing that he was ready to leave, and then - a hug! Not very passionate like how Robert or Mimsy hug her, but still a hug, from someone who didn't like to be touched. She felt liked and beamed in delight.

She loved hug, she thinks it's like a method that people show their liking. It was like a start with bad day turned into something pleasant. Maybe she should thank her treat?
