₳nthony ℳitchell ʙᴀᴛᴍᴀɴ ᴄᴜʀʀᴇɴᴛ ᴛʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛs: I'm supposed to be Batman. I better start acting like him. ʟᴏᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: Hall of Justice sᴛᴀᴛᴜs: Healing shoulder, otherwise healthy ᴏᴏᴄ: Tony watched, assessed, evaluated, listened, but never moved. He didn't react when Jonathan spoke, or Huntress, whose name he mentally marked down so he could get a file of her into the computer. He didn't even react when Superboy lunged at the man, and Wonder Boy stopped him. Not even his mask moved, to show that his expression had changed under it.
That all shattered, however, when the man turned his attention to him. There was no doubt in his mind he was looking at him. Tony felt like, even through the mask and the suit and the armor, the man was staring right into his very soul, picking him apart and learning his deepest secrets. It sent a shiver down his spine, but he couldn't seem to move. Then the bird spoke again and the man looked away, and it was like Tony had just been released. He breathed a silent sigh. It was time to act, in a way that only Batman could.
He stepped forward, pushing past the people standing in front of him and not stopping until he was about a foot away from the pale man. When he stopped walking, his cape draped around him, hiding his body from view as it often did when he wasn't moving. "You seem to know a lot about us, but won't give up anything about yourself. You tell us to give our names, but what about yours? If you really know who I am, you know I don't trust people easily, and you know why. So I have no reason to trust you, and you being cryptic and mysterious makes me not so willing to trust. Who are you? What is it exactly you're going to do to us? Why do you feel we need to give our names when you already know all our names?"
He had more questions, but that seemed like a good place to start. He waited, staring through the white covers over his eyes into the black eyes of the man before him. He had a feeling that he wasn't going to get a straight answer, but he didn't necessarily need a straight answer. He could try and piece together things on his own from the answers he did get.

Company: Legacies Thoughts: Secrets, can't live with them, or without them. Location: Hall of Justice.
[Nightingale][Sonokinesis][Legacy Initiative] Taliana felt her face as Alan conjured up a lovely replacement for her mask. "Shame I don't have anything to repay you with." Taliana coyed. The entire group had finally moved into the building, and were preparing to do the job they had come here for. The colorful cast grew with the introduction of the new huntress. Taliana couldn't help yawn in boredom. Not because of the new hero, but because it just seemed like they were wasting time talking. As a woman of action, she preferred the more direct approach. HAving some ghostly man mind ******** them was not on her agenda for the day. Michael seemed to be on the same page as her albeit a lot more of a hot head. Even she wouldn't have tried to attack the man head on. Thankfully Damian was here to rein in their aggressive friend. "Michael, chill out. Here I was thinking I'd be the first to strike." Taliana crossed her arms as the group began giving out their identities like it was nothing. Talk about ear candy though.
'Jonathan?!' After all these years of wondering whether or not she should reveal her identity to him, it was a surprise to know he harbored a similar secret. She was not quite sure she should be happy or upset. As bad as he made her feel sometimes for holding out secrets from him, and here he was gallivanting about as the Green Arrow. Taliana's cerulean orbs held him in a tight gaze. A sigh passed her lips. At the end of the day, she couldn't be mad at him. Everyone was entitled to their secrets. The two of them probably held the same intention of eventually telling the other, but fate didn't allow it until now. It was perfect though. As founding members of the new league, their friendship would only strengthen. That is what excited the siren.
Of course, someone had to bring her out of her surreal mindset with ridiculousness. Taliana rolled her eyes at the new Batman. "Foolish man. Do you not realize that he is only toying with us? He is asking you a question he already knows the answer to, so answer or not, it will make no difference. A detective like Batman should have already figured that out." Taliana snapped with her tone as cold as ice. Secrets were the reason she had a wall with her friend, and why these heroes have never been able to cooperate until now. It was a new age, and they needed to trust one another. "Taliana Lance, or Nightingale as I like to be referred to. I am the Legacy of Black Canary." Her words left her mouth without warning, but she knew there was no taking them back now.

Daniel Hall, King of All Dreams Daniel raised an eyebrow towards the Batman and nodded, keeping his arms crossed as he did so. It was more in approval than agreement; it seemed as though someone was finally getting what this was all about, it was about the obvious things, the cliche things and not about just jumping headlong into things without a seconds care like the Amazonian Prince had done. Anthony's Predecessor had, unlike the others of his ilk, always been the unfortunate one to realize that things came at a cost. For example, Bruce Wayne's great destiny came at the expense of his parents' lives and each of these Legacies even though some of them didn't know it yet, were also paying/yet to pay or had even already paid for the honour of carrying their lofty destiny on their shoulders.
All was going exactly to Batman's plan. It seemed as though the one's whom were struggling to deal with that concept were here and ready but also not ready to reclaim what was rightfully theirs. And yet, Daniel didn't seem to have much faith in their abilities. Turning his head to the side as Taliana began to talk about how Anthony wasn't living up to his role as the new Batman. To this, Daniel slowly raised a finger to his lips and frowned worriedly towards the group as he shook his head. The only way he could have possibly made his actions even more patronizing and chastising was if he tutted but the King of Dreams was not one to waste words, just a masterful manipulator of them. But he would honour Taliana with a reply:
"And that's where I'm afraid you're wrong..." Daniel said looking towards Mathew as if the Legacies weren't even there. They may as well have been non-entities if they were going to keep up at this rate but, Dream forever the composed one save for in the face of his siblings continued to explain himself in hopes of educating not just Taliana but the group as a whole. "The Batman, I see before me is most wise. He has sat back and waited, he has asked the questions no one else has dared ask and I think he is very aware of the fact that I know the answers. What he wants to know is the cost of YOU knowing. If I were you, I would refuse, wait till the end and see if or if not your characters were that of a disposition I actually liked. But I am Endless. Humans tend to live in moments and do not hesitate to ponder the effects of the wider repercussions; my own parents were the same, caped crusaders, fighting for justice and less than wise in their own right. It's just how things are in this new world Miss Mockingbird, I call you Mockingbird because you have taken on the moniker of someone else and in my respects from what I see in your dreams and nightmares at night have sullied it. You have to be careful. I'm not asking these questions for my benefit but for yours... Do you know the people around you? Do you even know yourselves?"
Daniel turned to all of them for a second, making sure to make some sort of eye contact. "Hypocrisy. Rage. Jealousy. Some of you don't even know they exist within yourselves and you intend to save a world filled with it? I am sorry to say I doubt it, would you trust a Batman with a criminal family? A Kryptonian kept secret from the world? A Black Canary whom relishes in the murder of criminals whilst a man she deeply cares for and whom also cares for her cannot live with the guilt of it? Can you? Will you? These are the real questions Miss Mockingbird. The Batman I believe, is actually aware of this. And this. Is why. He Asks."
Stepping down from his podium, Daniel once again flicked out the sand punch from his sleeve: "So, ARE. YOU. ALL. READY?"

Green Arrow "Heads up, you're about to be a pincushion" Alias: Jonathan Price Status: Minor Vertigo Thoughts: Why aren't we getting this done? Oh wait! Gosh why didn't I think of the obvious first? Wearing: Peridot Pendant, Shadestone Ring Equipment: GA-2 Goggles Quiver: 66/75 15 Broadhead Arrows 14 Smoke Arrows 14 Taser Arrows 10 Flash Bang Arrows 9 Line Arrows 5 Tranquilizer Arrows 2 Caltrop Arrows 2 Oil Slick Arrows 1 Explosive ArrowHe has stated he was ready at least. The new person also stated she was ready. Meanwhile Damian had pulled Mike back from doing something incredibly stupid and Taliana snapped at Anthony because he was just being himself. Things did not look too well so far. Is that why they weren't being tested immediately? Was their plan to restart the Justice League gonna be stopped by Mr. Poltergeist?
As the ghost of a man talked about how Anthony was wise in asking all of these questions, Jonathan evaluated what Daniel was saying about them. How he's been in Taliana's dreams and nightmares and that her actions have sullied the Black Canary's reputation. His eyes widened a bit in shock: did she really enjoy killing criminals? Was the sweet girl he knew in grade school a stone cold killer? The part about someone she cared about being unable to live with the same acts she enjoyed struck him like a lightning bolt. He was talking about Jonathan himself. Has he been in his dreams as well?
Needless to say he was a bit mad that someone he didn't even know has decided to look into his memories and dreams like watching Comcast On Demand in High Definition. As he reached for his sand pouch, Jonathan did something incredibly gutsy, after spending moments using Superboy as a shield: he decided to move towards the pale figure after he asked if they were all ready? He stood a couple feet away from Daniel, nonthreatening, but showing in his stance that he was not gonna back down. It was as if for a few moments, he looked more like Oliver Queen. A man who never backed down when it came to his beliefs. And in all truth, he kind of resembles a younger Oliver Queen anyway, if a bit taller and thinner than him.
"Ready for what? All I've seen you do is holding that pouch, waiting to use it. As for all this talk of dreams and nightmares and you being in them, and the fact you are speaking as if you know us better than we know ourselves, it points to one thing: you are The Sandman. And you want to put us to sleep with the sand in that pouch. But for what reason? What are you wanting to do with us? Because I certainly know what myself, Wonderboy, Superboy, and Batman want to do: revive the Justice League. I'm sure the rest would agree with me when I say this: this world is not gonna last through another Reign of Fear if we are all fighting as individuals. A team can do more than individuals can."

₳nthony ℳitchell ʙᴀᴛᴍᴀɴ ᴄᴜʀʀᴇɴᴛ ᴛʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛs: It was so obvious, since we walked into the building. I'm so stupid. ʟᴏᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: Hall of Justice sᴛᴀᴛᴜs: Healing shoulder, otherwise healthy ᴏᴏᴄ: Tony bristled a little when Taliana, the new Black Canary, essentially told him he wasn't a good Batman. Who was she to judge him for doing what nobody else would? Before he was able to respond, the pale man spoke up and explained why she was wrong by pointing out what he'd really been doing. Tony didn't like it. Someone defending him against an accusation of him being a bad Batman, sure, that was okay. But this guy was so far in his thoughts that he saw past the questions he actually voiced and brought up the points he had only been thinking about, and that truly scared him. Were any of his thoughts safe?
Tony listened as the man continued, trying to figure out the bigger picture here. There was something he was missing, and he felt like the man had already given it to him. He just couldn't figure out what it was.
His eyes widened when the man mentioned a Batman with a criminal family. His hands clenched in fists under his cape, and he resisted the urge to punch him. It probably wouldn't have done any good anyway. The man was absolutely right, and Tony knew it. He'd known it from the very beginning. It was why he fought so hard to protect his secret. How many of them would actually trust him if they knew? Probably none of them.
He took a breath, about to speak, but Jonathan beat him to it. He watched the pale man as Jonathan spoke. He mentioned the Sandman. Yes, that thought had crossed his mind briefly, but he hadn't settled on it. There were other possibilities to consider. But if Jonathan thought it too, could it be true? It was possible. The man had said something about being Endless, and was the Sandman not Endless? But Jonathan continued, saying that he, among others, wanted to revive the Justice League.
And just like that, everything fell into place. That was it. That had been the missing piece. From the moment Tony had walked into the Hall of Justice, he had placed the Justice League out of his mind to focus on the cryptic man who had been waiting for them. Only now did he see that the man wasn't an enemy, wasn't there to stall them, but to help them, if they would just listen. All the talk about them needing to trust each other, instructing them to give their names, pointing out things about each of them only they would know, it was all to get them to work together. Jonathan even said it himself. A team can do more than individuals could, but they weren't acting like a team. They were all acting as individuals. That's what the Sandman was trying to fix. "I finally get it," he breathed. No more secrets. No more hiding. They needed to work together. "We aren't ready, but we will be," he told the pale man.
He turned around and lifted his hand to pull his mask off, holding it at his side. "My name is Anthony Mitchell. My father is Austin Mitchell, a small time criminal in Gotham City. I've put him in jail before, and I will again if I need to. My father turned to crime after my mother died, but he kept me and my sister out of it. I recently inherited the Wayne Fortune, I'm CEO of Wayne Enterprises, and live in Wayne Manor. Before the last Batman disappeared, I was working at WayneTech. I've been a fan of Bruce Wayne and Green Arrow since I was a kid." He gave up talking about himself and decided to explain what he understood was going on. "We came here to rebuild the Justice League, to stand against those who want to destroy the world, but from the second we walked in here, we saw an enemy that wasn't there. The Sandman, assuming that is who he really is, is here for the same reason we are. Jonathan pointed out that a team gets more done than an individual, but this, here, this isn't a team. None of us have even made an effort to work together. Nobody knows what's going on, because nobody's listening." He was definitely not one to lead a group, but someone needed to set everyone on the right path, and nobody else seemed to know what that path was. "No secrets," he said. "We're a team now. We need to act like one."

Hola. Anyone home? We're only going for another few posts, so you guys need to get some in. If Dream has to auto-hit you, you will not go where you are meant to go; you will land in the realm of Nightmares where you will have to fight your predecessor. And that's before you even think of tackling the hall...
So... See you soon?

Company: Legacies and Mr.Sandman Thoughts: So done... Location: Hall of Justice.
[Nightingale][Sonokinesis][Legacy Initiative] Taliana rolled her eyes at the defense that was being given for the Batman. It was as if what she had just went right over everyone's heads."I asked the same question earlier yet got no response. I suppose your already picking favorites Mr.Sandman, hm?!" A shame really. She knew what she had spoken was true. The team needed to get to know one another, and trust each other. That was the truth. As always, Taliana spoke the truth even if it did make people uncomfortable. A personality defect perhaps?! Or maybe just her ability to see past people's bullshit. She wasn't trying to hurt the new Batman's feelings nor make the cosmic being in front of them seem silly. Taliana was an outspoken girl who said everything on her mind. The team should get used to it since they would be hearing her mouth a lot from now on. Didn't they know birds had a hard time shutting up?! Taliana crossed her arms across her chest as her cerulean orbs stared like daggers into the Sandman. He was really trying to push her buttons, but it wouldn't work. "I suggest you watch your tongue unless you wanna be next on that list slain criminals." Too late. The nightingale had been unleashed, and now the talons were out.
That being said, the Sandman attempting to strike a nerve with his further indication that she was shaming the name of the black canary by her actions as a hero. 'What a jerk!' Her hands balled into tight fists as she looked down at the ground. She had done some questionable things during her stint as a hero. The most prominent being that she killed the criminals she felt had no right to a judge or a jury. Their sins had been too great, and there was no reason to let them live only to see them do it again. After being tossed into a abusive orphanage and seeing pure evil at it's finest, the young girl vowed to never let the same happen to others. Dinah probably wouldn't be ecstatic that the girl held blood on her hands but at the same time the ends justified the means. It wasn't like she was killing for the hell of it. Of course the sandman was sure making it seem that way. Taliana always knew she needed to tone it down a bit, but she couldn't help it. Alas, this is why she was here. She wanted to change her methods. If there were people to keep her accountable, those who would help her in combat, she would revert from her more ruthless way of heroism. So no, she was not shaming the name of the Black Canary. She was making crime fear the sound of her name. She was keeping the people warm at night. She was making a difference. The one thing the sandman was right about, was that she did need to change now as they moved into a new era of the league. That she was willing to do because it is the reason why she was here in the first place. "I know who I am. But I want to be apart of this team to find a better version of myself. So please, don't patronize me." Her fists unraveled themselves as Taliana made a comment of self realization. This is what she wanted as a hero. Something told her that the others felt the same way.
Jonathan pipped up about some of the sandman's annoying way of beating around the bush. He spoke in a tone that seemed like he wanted to get to the point of them being here yet he was the one wasting time. Maybe the siren was being to hasty herself. Then again, for someone who had a grand plan for them he sure as hell didn't seem like it. She had been keeping track of everything being stated so she was definitely listening, contrary to the words of the Batman. But he was right. If they had approached this more like a team, maybe the sandman would stop trying to ******** them. Taliana walked over to the Batman, a half smile forming on her lips. She placed a hand on his shoulder. "Your right. We wouldn't be here if that wasn't our goal. A goal that can only be achieved when we're together." Taliana playfully winked at the Batman. "Right, bats?!"

There was no changing who a person was, and for that reason Wonder Boy followed suit before stopping beside Green Arrow. ✸ ✸ ✸ Goodbye ● The place of MemoriesFLYING TO A PLACE ⇡ UNTOUCHED BY MEMORIES ★xBlessed By The Friendly Spirits : Of Oldexაʊρεɾსიყ
Before he could grab the pouch of sand from the male, Wonder Boy's Lasso of Truth had caught him, thus forcing him back to his friend's side. He honestly hated being restrained by the lasso because he could feel the need to tell the truth already rising in him, and if a question had been asked, he did not like the idea of answering without control over his mouth. So the direct approach had failed miserably due to Wonder Boy's intervention, and while it probably was not smart of Superboy to blindly charge in like he had, he wanted to reclaim the Hall as soon as possible. Sighing softly, he waited till the lasso was removed to stand up straight once again. A few other left out introductions had begun, but Batman's words had secretly made Superboy smile. Then again, being called "A Kryptonian kept from the world" had made him want to retaliate, but it was the truth, and there was no denying it. Just to get their teamwork problems sorted, the new Batman had even gone so far as unmasking himself. If teamwork was what was truly needed, then Superboy would learn, but he could not promise it would happen overnight. Walking forwards in order to stand on the opposite side of Green Arrow, Superboy put his has hands behind his head in order to stretch before allowing them to fall near his sides. "I doubt I need to repeat what my friends already stated, or tell you how firm our resolve is. If we are to go willingly, then we'll do it as a group." To tihs, he was prepared to go wherever they needed to be in order to work as a team. Despite how super he may have seemed, even he could be overpowered, and having teammates that would be able to fight alongside him and cover his weaknesses while he covered them was a comforting thought. Now, with a new found resolve, he prepared himself for whatever was to come.

OOC:: Right then. In some cases, Vermilion preferred not to know the Batman's name or appearance. The man was iconic, something to know a private side was something to be earned. This didn't feel like being earned. Selfishness though, was not a characteristic that the group needed to have, so with a quick roll of her eyes, gently folded her arms across her chest and pivoted. Shifting her weight to hip, she pondered the chick in the tight white getup's words, lingering more on the bit about the goal and their reasons. Were they all genuine in this goal?
Unlikely. I'm here because this "sandman" guy they're talking about kept haunting my dreams. Already I can tell that I wasn't initially part of "the plan", but a convenient replacement, albeit a less satisfying one than was originally intended. Other than the fact they're much closer knit as a group...as friends, and that I am not in that grouping, I can safely deduce that my stand-in role....the substitute, is a neutral/dismissive one from the viewpoint of my "peers". Expecting another of their friends, but something happened...something gone awry that caused that friend's disappearance. Maybe this sandman guy had something to do with it. A bit far-fetched, but still relevant and plausible...given he started haunting my dreams a week ago or roughly thereabouts. He would know about the disappearance before these friends would, possibly orchestrating it in a manner similar to the being laying on the floor that is our tenth companion...but elsewhere. Either way, it doesn't seem to matter. What I need to do now is prove that I'm more than just a gun-toting maniac what that goes by the name of "vigilante" and follows rules close enough not to be prosecuted. That, I believe, is done by nutting and shutting up and working with these folk. Maybe they're putting as much on the line as I am by going "public" with this introduction thing. Maybe we have more in common than I'm picking up on.....or the very opposite could also be true. Regardless. Vermilion was content to banter around and let the sandman or whatever he actually went by beat around the metaphorical bush. What better did she have to do? Go back home ALL the way across the country to a website that only gave her small-time recognition and more oft than not had her doing simple jobs....like fetch quests. Cal and Acadia were busy with their own lives as well, so this was a somewhat welcome distraction. Being on the same half of the country as the hated enemy was a bit uncomfortable though. Made her feel somewhat vulnerable....especially with the current loadout she had packed. While the action of drumming one's fingers on crossed arm painted the image of impatience, it also served the purpose of trying to motion things further along. People were making speeches...and while that was fine, she'd done the talking she aimed to do and more. What more could she contribute to a point that she had considered as one she'd made near the start of it? Already unmasked and full name out on the board, Superboy had re-iterated her original intent vocalized and just furthered that as a hammered down and done task.

It took brains for Nth and their various equipments to be made after all, so neither the male in front of her nor his pathetic pet got the reaction they were looking for. When the being announced that he wanted them all to give their names as well as who they were supposed to be, she merely contained a chuckle. She did not consider herself as Hawkgirl and as far as her name, she already gave it, albeit if it was just only her last name. Another one of his games squashed and put down the drain, not that giving her full name even mattered in the first place. If the Rat with wings was right about the being seemingly knowing a lot, then was there a point in even giving out an identity? She remained on the wall, resting in the same position as she awaited the male to get on with his useless banter and get right on to the point. Daniel Hall, King of All Dreams Allowing the corner of his mouth to curl upwards into a smirk, Daniel finally felt as though things were getting through to people. With the Batman and the new Green Arrow finally beginning to ask the obvious but necessary questions, the next stage of this endeavor could finally continue. They could finally begin their preparations for heading into the Dreaming and joining the already present Musei Totatsu at the Threshold. He was just about to answer all the questions put forward to him when he was interrupted and taken off track by Miss Lance once again.
His face appeared blank for a second as he looked at her. What did she mean favorites? The Batman had been wise and therefore it wasn't a bad thing to compliment him for it. Wisdom was wisdom and it was worth celebrating within the Human race because it was rare; if Daniel did show any respect towards this new Batman, Anthony, for any reason that seemed unjust it was only because of his predecessor Mr. Wayne. Mr. Wayne had earned Dream's respect whilst travelling through his Realm, it wasn't an easy journey but if that was the reason as to why Daniel respected Anthony out of character, then that respect obviously wasn't real. It was the same as showing courtesy to the child of a friend even if they were a brat: You did it because you had to. It wasn't about choice. It was just about how things were. It was a sad state of affairs when you thought of it in that way but yes, that was how it was. So, Daniel took Taliana's serve and decided to return. He was the King of Dreams and the King of Dreams did not play favorites, he played for keeps.
"Miss Mockingbird," He began after a deep patronizing sigh "You asked me what my name was and if you'd been listening to my explanations to the Batman, you would have already noticed that I gave when I'd tell you my name. That's the only question you asked. So, how am I picking favorites? I have not told anyone my name yet, your peers have used the moniker with which your Human would has addressed me: The Sandman, which in it's own way is not wrong but is not right either." Smiling to himself as he watched Taliana grow angry, Dream shook his head once again. It seemed as though she was rather far from Dinah. The Original Black Canary was disciplined in both body and mind whilst this Mockingbird seemed not so much. "You're 'I'll pretend I don't care but I do care' attitude will not help you here Miss Lance. And I doubt very much you could kill me and I wonder very much as to how Ian would react if he knew you were so quick to think it was a good idea to kill someone, hm?"
Dream didn't know how this would go, for Taliana had dreamed of Ian a couple of times. She'd worried about him, thought hard about him and in some ways tried to figure him out but bringing him up may have not been Daniel's best move so far; especially considering he was already pushing buttons left and right. "But if you believe that finding a 'better' version of yourself is why you are here than I cannot argue with you. I can only disagree with your logic. I could only say that there is no 'better' version of you only 'different'. That's how being a murderer works. You regret and you repent for the rest of your life until the blood seems to stop dripping of your hands, if it ever does stop dripping." Mathew cawed loudly in order to bring the Sandman back onto task, he wasn't here to school the Legacies only guide them through Bruce's challenges and trials.
"Excuse me I have come off track," Daniel finally apologized reaching and grabbing some of the contents of his pouch and listening to the others. It seemed as though they were finally ready and understood. "My name is Daniel Hall, son of Lyta Hall but also Dream of the Endless. You Humans call me the Sandman, yes. The Martian would have seen me as X'Hal. And I am here to guide you towards your destiny. The Detective left you something that I must give you and once you are done, once this is all done, you will possibly never see me again and finally be the Justice League that this world needs. You will have your hall, you will be a team. So, sleep, sleep dear Legacies. For, you will need your rest..."
He blew hard on the sand in his palms and watched it shimmer in the air as it rained down on the Legacies, even Alan Cypher whom would have had some sort of magical defense up. Daniel walked forward towards the Huntress and smiled at her before he sent her to sleep. She was somewhat wise too. She may have deduced that she was not a part of the original line up on her way here or during the occurring chat but Daniel couldn't help but impressed with her. "I am already most impressed with you my dear, sleep, for I think you will play a bigger role than even I imagined." And with that the whole lot were sound asleep and making their way to where they needed to be.

Green Arrow "Heads up, you're about to be a pincushion" Alias: Jonathan Price Status: Minor Vertigo Thoughts: Oooooh, pretty sparkles......I'm sleepy sleepy sleepy *thud* SNOOOOOOOOOOOORE!!!!! Wearing: Peridot Pendant, Shadestone Ring Equipment: GA-2 Goggles Quiver: 66/75 15 Broadhead Arrows 14 Smoke Arrows 14 Taser Arrows 10 Flash Bang Arrows 9 Line Arrows 5 Tranquilizer Arrows 2 Caltrop Arrows 2 Oil Slick Arrows 1 Explosive ArrowAs typical for Taliana, she started saying what was on her mind without thinking of the consequences. Jonathan loved her like a sister, but she was frustrating to hang around with. Even if she doesn't jump at anything that can be considered a threat, unlike Mike, she will certainly be the first to speak her mind about it. Sometimes that is a good thing, but other times, not so much. Especially when someone like Daniel can put them to sleep at anytime. Jonathan would not of spoke up against him if he didn't know Daniel wasn't as benign as he is.
Daniel, after being steered off track by Taliana, was brought back to the situation at hand. And after minutes of them standing off, they were finally at equal footing. They knew who he was, and he knew who they were. Finally they were getting somewhere. And he thought the same as he took out some of the contents in his pouch and blew it at them. It was as Jonathan predicted: he was putting them to sleep. The Sandman was bringing them a dream.....more or less.
His whole body felt heavy, from the feet in his boots, to his eyelids. It was as if his very long day has finally caught up to him and made him extremely tired. Though he was feeling sleepy, he managed to pull out his phone, slowly and give his housemate at home a text, though from the way she would receive, it would seem like Jonathan had hit the sauce just a bit too hard:
I have sleep, going to arrive. Talk to you soon
He texted before the phone left his hand and landed face down. His whole body followed, eyelids finally closing as he fell into a very deep sleep.

What exactly had happened to the male on the ground before them, and why did he look asleep? Not just a beaten unconscious sleep, but more of a put to sleep type of sleep. Then the white-haired male introduced himself as Daniel Hall, otherwise known as the Sandman by humans. His next set of words were some that he would have preferred to avoid, but naturally, there was no escaping it. As the sand rained down onto them, he could feel himself already fighting to remain awake. Sadly, this was not to be, and as he stumbled slightly, he was soon falling back onto his rear end before laying out on the ground. With that, he was out, and would soon be "waking up" on the other side.

Company: Legacies and Mr.Sandman Thoughts: So done... Location: Hall of Justice.
[Nightingale][Sonokinesis][Legacy Initiative] Great. No one had even piped up after the Sandman's complete bashing of her. Not that it mattered anyway. The siren had developed thick skin, and, in spite of herself, everyone is entitled to their own opinion of her. No matter what she did to change that, people would always hold the view they chose. So maybe it wasn't the words that Daniel spoke that pierced through her heart like a metal stake, but the fact that a close friend wasn't even willing to stick up for her. Her cerulean blue orbs traveled up to Jonathan and became misted over. She couldn't really tell if she was angry at him or just hurt by his actions. Was there redemption for her?! She was a young hero who had done questionable things, but her intentions were always in the right place. If it meant she would forever be considered a murderer, than so be it. There were more important things to concern herself with. Still, even a hardened heart like hers couldn't hold back the tear that streamed down her blushed skin. "I only want to help..." Taliana spoke under her breath. Her face was still as stone even as she wiped the tear away from her features. She was about to say something to Jonathan when sleep began to hold her in a vice grip, lulling her eyes shut.
