Ama Vian Torra wondered what she meant. "I would like you to meet my twin sister Terra. She just arrived a few minutes before you showed up." Terra stepped forward and held out a hand. It sounded lovely whatever it was you were playing."Thank you." She said, shaking Terra's hand. "I wrote the piece, but playing it is different." She looked at the path she had been on and sighed. "Sorry if I interrupted you. I was on my way to visit the spot my family temple is on. You see.... My grandfather owns this forest... " She explained.

Toma walk towards the girls letting out a dark laugh that echoed throughout the forest. "That geezer doesn't own this forest." He smiled wickedly. "I do!"

The twins looked over at this stranger. Excuse me sir, but it isn't polite to call people names. Torra stared with a grin at the stranger, she didn't know him but for some reason she found the way he talked funny.

Amiera was terrified in front of the newcomer. She was hiding her true self underneath, and she hated people in her forest. "No. This forest is mine. I have the proof of it." She said softly.

Toma stared at the young girl. " No deed or barrier can erase the fact that this land was my territory centuries before your family moved in." He looked towards the twin girls. "You two know what I mean. After all your father The Great Demon of The West and I have know each other for almost a millenia."

Torra stared at him like he was out of his mind. "Our father never mentioned knowing a hermit. How do we know you're not some crazy guy who lives on other peoples land, and why should we believe you?" Terra moved toward this man, Where did you come from?

Toma lifted his arm igniting a black flame in his hand. " It matters very little to me if believe me or not young one. As for where i came from." He chuckled. " I have lived for so very long I can only remember the smell of blood."

Torra stared at him, trying to find any piece of information about this person who supposedly knew her father. She looked over at Amiera who stood frozen. "Amiera, are you alright?" She reached over and touched her shoulder.
How can that be the only thing you remember? And I don't understand, if you knew our father, then why haven't we met you?

Toma clenched his hand extinguishing the flame. " Its not the only thing I remember. It is simply the most vivid thing I can recall from my early years." He grinned. "After all I spent those years carving my place among my fellow demons and we did meet once. You where just to small to remember after all you were both newborns."

Torra looked this man over from head to toe. *I don't like the vibes I get from him* Hoping her thoughts would get through to Terra. And when she looked over her sister was looking at her with a weird expression. * I think you're right. Our mother wouldn't let her new born babies near a man who is crazy and can light his hands on fire.
"Very well sir, I'm Torra and this is Terra. And this girl who you were so very rude to is Amiera. Maybe it was your land at one point but I'm sure her family has the papers that say they bought it from whom ever. So no, this land is no longer yours."

Toma sighed in defeat. "I guess your right. This world has changed so very much from how it used to be. We demons cling to our old ways while the human push forward into the future." He looked over towards Amiera. "Forgive me child it seems I still have some habits I must get over."

Amiera nodded, her expression still stony and pale. She was after all, a nymph. And being near demons was not something she enjoyed. Torra was fine. But this man and Terra made her uneasy. It was the reason she said she was human.
"I do not mind that you use the forest as a home.... I just want it to be preserved and my families shrine to stay intact. That is all that I ask." Amiera said slowly, choosing her words carefully around the demons.

Toma smiled softly. "I have no intention of living in this forest. I simply stop here for a few day to rest. I have bin traveling since the feudal era and this forest is and always will be my favorite place to relax." He looked towards the twins. "Those two are the only reason I even showed myself. After all its so very hard to find civil company when dealing with demons."

Torra clapped her hands together. "Well, this has been a wonderful meeting! Not awkward in the least bit." Feeling an pressure starting to surround the small group, like the tension between her friend and this man was becoming physical enough for her to touch. She looked at Terra, she hadn't noticed before now but she looked uncomfortable like the others.
Terra glanced between Amiera and her fathers friend. What was the deal? She never felt so on edge around new people, but something wasn't completely right about this new friend her sister made. She said she was human, but her aura was off. Humans always had a light hue of purple, demons depending on the breeds almost always had a shade of green, angels were blues and the fae were almost a kaleidoscope of shades for their cunning and exciting nature. But this girl, she had a changing aura. "Well that is odd."
Torra looked at her sister, "What's odd?"
Goddess! Did I say that out loud?! "Nothing, I was just thinking about something from the other day, nothing to worry about." She gave a light laugh, she didn't lie to her sister unless she absolutely had to and this felt like one of those times.

Amiera felt the sudden urge to leave. She knew one of them sensed her true identity, though she had hidden it well. She put the flute in her bag and put on a false smile. "I must be going. My family shrine needs tending to. If you'll all excuse me." She said, ducking her head and making her way down a side path. She had to leave before her secret was discovered and she lost the only friend she had.
