Kin Cert: Pref List: Crawfish, Rox, Slug, Tortoise Tell Me a Tale!: Gilded blinked as another pair of eyes stared back at her's. They were beady, moist, and she'd never seen such a creature before. Was it another type of kin, foreign and strange like the zikwa, or just another one of the Swamp's many abundant companions? She twittered at it cautiously, a low sound that not many heard- but it didn't respond. She sniffed at it, and it smelt wet. Which wasn't all that uncommon where she lived. Slowly, unsure, she chose to reach a hoof out. Eyes narrowing, steeling her nerves, she then SMACKED the animal on the head. A move that was repaid in a snapping of jaggy parts and a suddenly bleeding leg.
She smiled. This was going to be the beginning of a beautiful companionship.

Blinded By Silence Applicant: What position in the tribe would they hold?: Piecemaker Personality Summary: Still has a very odd obsession with death, more so, with what happens to the body after the soul has left it. He is often found by one of his water pools, observing, ever so patiently, as those whose spirit has left them are slowly devoured by nature, leaving only bare bones behind. That there is where his obsession lies, in the bones, how they are connected, how they work with each other, what hides beneath the flesh. Once their tissue is gone, his work begins; with the patience of someone ten times his age, he moves them, bone by bone, into graves he's dug, and arranges them joint to joint, until at last the body is complete. Still would function well in the Mothborn because of his dedication and obsession with detail. He really enjoys his puzzles, finding the endeavor relaxing and peaceful. Question: Would beetles be allowed? I really want to get him a small hoard of them to aid in the removal of flesh. Like in Bones! The TV show! : D

Blinded By Silence would like to enter with Pestilence
Kin Cert: Pref List: Crayfish Tell Me a Tale!:
It was a day like any other. Stil was still in the process of settling into his new home, and so, to ease himself into this strange new environment, the toxic buck did what he knew best. This place was perfect for his projects, there were water holes everywhere. Just the day before he had stumbled upon the body of a old rox. Still whole, Stil had carefully weighed it down in one of the pools.
Returning the next morning, Stil found something completely unexpected; There was something else in the pool with his project. Panic shocked through his veins like poison and quickly he splashed into the shallow pool. The offender raised her claws and stepped back but didn't back down. It wasn't a caiman as Stil had thought, but a crayfish having a snack. He looked down at the body and saw how her delicate little mouth had cleaned off one of the rox's legs, leaving the bones completely bare and unharmed.
He stood there for a while, utterly still, but then, slowly, he stepped out and settled himself on a rock to watch. The crayfish was like him, unmoving for ages before returning to her meal with a small though of thanks in her small mind.

Applicant: What position in the tribe would they hold?: Singer Personality Summary: Perish is Pestilence's son in both blood and soul. While he doesn't share his father's intrigue in dead bodies, he studies any lore he can get hold of that talks of the after life. He is very spiritual and devout.
Applicant: What position in the tribe would they hold?: Familiar Healer Personality Summary: Scourge is a bit... eerie. He doesn't speak, to kin at least, and the only sounds he makes are the clicks and chirps of various insects. He is fascinated by bugs and spends a lot of time watching his father's beetles as they clean his bones. Scourge is obsessive and more than a bit creepy. He is also Pestilence's child.
Applicant: What position in the tribe would they hold?: Vessel Maker Personality Summary: Rem believes the souls of the dead return, listening to the prayers and laments of their loved ones and cursing those who scorned them. She also says they speak to her in wordless voices, sharing their memories with her. Whether this is true or not is undiscovered, but it is eerie how the alters she builds always seem to hold the deceased kin's favorite foods and flowers, sometimes even personal trinkets that no one else knew of. Rem is thoughtful and sensitive, often sitting with the old souls, learning as much about them as she can as to better personify them in their vessels. Death is a sad, but beautiful, thing, something that should be celebrated and revered.
