Alex watched the jeep as it was going by. Much to her annoyance, one of the passengers decided to moon the crowd which included her and the Devil guy. 'Seems like someone could use a lesson in manners.' Alexiel thought to herself as she turned so that she was only looking at the young man through the corner of her eye.
She had marked his face, noted it in her memory. Perhaps one day his actions would come back to 'bite him in the a**', so to speak.
Alex turned her attention back to her companion as they headed towards the watermelons. "Dancing watermelons... how... odd."

"Hey...."
He'd stopped walking by now, and stood stock still, his head slightly lowered, while the jeep had passed them by.
"Since this... is a game, that means there are players. And if there are players... that means everyone's competing for the same thing...?"
He turned around, yellowed eyes widening a bit, his left hand relaxing.
"And if there is competition.... it would be okay to knock any future trouble out of the way... right?"

Alexiel looked away from the dancing fruit at her companion. "I... suppose so..." She felt herself grow nervous. Surely he wasn't talking about her.

"That's all I need to know." It was as if a switch had been flipped; playing detective and wandering around a Roger Rabbit-esque setting was not his thing... but now this... yes this he could do. Without further word, he sprung off his feet into a backwards somersault, both arms spread out and held straight, with his knees never bending. Just when it seemed he had hit the apex of his jump and was about to land back down, he seemed to push off the air itself, as if some unseen platform had appeared, and rebounded him backwards into the air yet again. He flipped through the air, agining enough to begin twisting his body, horizontally. Manuevering his mass ever so slightly, he would come down onto the hood of the jeep with a loud crack; feet-first. His greaved feet would do more than indent the jeep's hood, and hopefulyl penetrate enough to ******** up the engine itself and cause the entire thing to tilt up and forward from the sudden weight applied on one end. If that happened, it would eventually fall back downward, jolting all the passengers roughly. Vahn himself would remain knelt there on the hood, before lifting his face and smiling. "Hi there. What do you know about petals?"

Even if there was no magic used in that jump, Nascen wasn't surprised to see someone from the crowd coming after them- what he was surprised to see was them do a flip, going high into the air. They were in a contest with enemies about, that they knew, and this guy seemed armed, skilled and coming after them. "Great job Masuyu," Nascen said, loaded with sarcasm as he pointed both hands upward at the figure flipping through the air who he hadn't yet gotten good enough look to recognize.
Vahn would never land on the hood of the jeep.
Wide blasts of invisible energy flew from each of Nascen's hands, making a booming sound as well as higher pitched sounds no human would hear, knocking Nascen back into the seat, and going straight up toward not just the figure in mid air, but plenty wide enough to cover the area around him incase he pulled another crazy jump or some such in the less than a second he'd have until the shockwave struck.
That itself would not harm anything it hit one bit. What it would do, is throw it really, really, really far up and away. Especially as the apparent "it" was already off the ground.

Driving through was surprisingly easy, until, that is, a jeep was right in the middle of the road.
The Chauffeur honked the horn of his black Viper, opening the car door and stepping out. "Come on, get that thing out of the way! I've got people to-" It was then that he reconized someone in the crowd.
"...Crim?"

Allen turned, hearing that name, surprised to hear it. And he grinned at the man, hopping out of the back of the jeep, ignoring the man who was probably flying through the air by now. Because hey, potentially lethal attackers didn't matter as much when you were seeing an old friend. And so he waved. "Yo, Degs. How's A~E treating you?"

Alexiel blinked, her jaw dropping. Bloody hell. It was like the man had become a different person. She had sensed that he was the fighter type, but watching him go into 'Fighter Mode', now that was interesting. And that arial move he had done, he was good, he was indeed good. "Hmmm..."
While the crowd and the blokes in the jeep were preoccupied with her new friend, Alex decided it would be good to investigate the dancing watermelons. She urged her horse over to the fruit, it wasn't far afterall, within hearing range, so Devil would be near enough that he could help if she got into trouble.
Dismounting, she looked down at the dancing fruit curiously. "What a wonderful little dance."

opaj's head jerked to look in the direction of the booming sound. "Huh?" It seemed to have come from the other side of the marketplace- at least his enemies weren't exactly upon him yet.
"Angel," opaj crouched to his knees and smashed the kittehs against the ground, hoping that it would effectively put them out of commission. "We're fighting to protect our dear friend. In the future, I hope you'll be able to trust me more quickly when I tell you that something's evil."

Kitten's go smoooooooooooooooooosh... Back in other part of town "Noo....NO....NO!!!"
Flying over the shoulder of one of the players...was a penguin. But not just any penguin, this penguin was wearing....samurai clothing....and weilding a samurai sword. With a slamming down of his sword, the first watermelon went splat, it's innards flying everywhere for several feet.
Loud screams and squeals permated the air as the watermelons began rolling around, trying to escape the mad penguin. But he had halted, his sword held high in pride.
"No can can...We waltz today!"

"Teh...hahahaha....!"
He was laughing, even as he was flying through the air. This was good. This was very good.
They weren't normal people then. And such a large grouping... could only mean that they were probaly involved in this 'game' as well.
Yea.
It was good.
There wasn't much Vahn could do about being force-pushed away while in mid-air, and even if could do something, how do you dodge what you can't see?
So he took the hit (as if he had a choice) and was sent backwards. But how far? Off the Island? Into a building? Down the street and around the corner? (Never really gave me distance measurements... like 20, 10 feet or something, so I'll infer on my own.)
Well probaly not.
He would come crashing down into several stalls and scattering a large grouping of people; splintered wood and broken earthern pots all over the place. He was still laughing, even as a pot of water finished spilling all over his face.
His lip ring glinted in the sunlight, the startled vendor too shocked to yell yet not quite compassionate enough to ask if the stranger was alright.
"First you moon me... then you throw me. I love this Island."
Picking himself up off the ground, he shrugged off the remnants of several pieces of pottery and began walking forward. The jeep was several feet ahead, and apparently hadn't gone on like he thought they might.
Awesome.
Wiping the bottom of his chin, where a bit of blood was dripping from, he continued moving forward, right hand hidden behind his back.

The bloody penguin had come from nowhere... and had splattered her with watermelon innards, being as she had been right there. Alexiel looked at the penguin, one eyebrow raised. "Waltz?"

"Yesterday I'm a hitman, today I'm an errand boy." Looking beyond his old friend he saw not only an airborne person, but dancing fruit. "Um..." he said, motioning to the events behind Allen, "I know full well that hallucinogens don't effect me.... Am I missing something here?"

opaj gazed for a moment at the kitten gore under his palms, his mouth twisted in a disgusted sneer. Perhaps he had made a mistake? No, there definitely was something wrong with this kitteh.
Of course, he hadn't truly known if it was evil or not. Closing his eyes, he mustered the willpower to look away. Climbing back to his feet, he left the kittehs on the floor, shaking his hands free of some of the blood that had gotten on him.
He dislodged Keppashiri from the floor, holding it at the ready. Now, should he investigate the source of the noise, or should he avoid it and begin his search?
He took one last, regretful glance at the two smooshed felines behind him.
