Bleeding Apocalypse I have very little avatar art! Probably because I do it all myself. I don't find many artists who are willing to draw men with beards or chest hair or in a non-anime style. Anyway, what little art I have is always based around my OC, and more often than not I'm in steampunk or post-apocalyptic RPs, so my avatar art reflects that. The one in my signature is of my fantasy-world OC. They are, in order from left to right, Aramis Durai in a fantasy-world setting, in a more steampunk setting, and finally in a post-apocalyptic setting. He's the one in the plain white T-shirt. The one in the riot gear and the burn scars is my husband's OC. Wooow Nice stuff o: And yes i imagine it must be hard to find people to draw even just guys, let alone non anime style, and then as a bonus have some hair on their body o: Your OC really looks awesome o: and your art is really great too C:

Alex Trevell The style is fine, but I do a little drawing myself from time to time. Only really have one good one so far, so a long way to go. I see =] Well it's really the big eyes, humongous head, horrible proportions... Afterwards the colouring can be fine.. xD And the subject represented.. :p

I lovelovelove traditional art, too. Sketches and colored pencils and all that, but I must admit that I'm all kinds of awful when it comes to traditional coloring. Digital coloring is so much easier for me, what with pre-made texture and such. So I'm always super jealous about how well other people can do great lighting and shading.
And whoof. It's actually pretty difficult to find someone who does art of males, period. Let alone semi-realistic looking males. A friend of mine on this site started an art shop specializing in men with beards and body hair. I should go to her for my art. >w>

Otherwise if you like taking photos you can make your own textures like that it's not "completely" cheating xD Haha i'm sure your friend has her work cut out for her then xD I don't enjoy drawing men in the slightest so i would be no help for you sweatdrop

Fox on Stilts Here are a few samples of my art. I'm more of a traditional artist. ^^ This is a griffin I did and actually gave to a customer of mine. A realistic portrait of My dog Kobe that I'm still working on. And just for fun an avatar I used to have that I drew. FFS Gaia, so many replies, not a single notification 'bout it. GRRRRRR... Those are awesome you really have skill! o:
