So i'm new to the guild, hi ^_^ I noticed there was a guild forum and more especially an artsy forum! So i thought we could maybe share art we've done of our avatars? Maybe? I don't know o: So post here any pics of your characters or avatars? I'll start. My avatar represents one of my OCs named Allicra. Oddly I've never draw my own avatar, I prefer to see hoe other artists depict her. Maybe I should start?

Drawing is a hobby of mine, but when I tried to make it a job field, I lost interest in drawing pretty fast. Oh well, I could at least show you a couple of drawings I've done in the past. ^^; This is the art I made when I got my tablet (avatar art of my online persona): Throughout many years, these two avatar arts are my personal favorite: This one is of my OC, which I used to RP with (the blue guy in the middle):

Ysyth Oddly I've never draw my own avatar, I prefer to see hoe other artists depict her. Maybe I should start? Drawing your avatar yourself helps personalise her/him and you can even make up a story around them if you're into that type of thing =) Sorry for the late reply i never got a notification for the replies...

Lmih Thwill Ooh nice stuff! I know that feeling about losing interest in art, same thing happened to me when i started art classes, for a year, not a single picture was drawn, i just couldn't! Thanks. And yeah, the same thing happened to me too. one year of art class, and things just go down~ The whole thing with getting proportions, perspective, accuracy in general, that makes me feel so limited/helpless. Decided that a hobby is just a hobby, not a chore.

Decided that a hobby is just a hobby, not a chore. Mhm yeah i see what you mean. I have a pretty limited skillset, but seeing as drawing is one of the only things i actually enjoy doing i think i'm gonna re-attempt to take art classes, but long distance this time... Just need a job to fund it biggrin

Here are a few samples of my art. I'm more of a traditional artist. ^^ This is a griffin I did and actually gave to a customer of mine. A realistic portrait of My dog Kobe that I'm still working on. And just for fun an avatar I used to have that I drew.
