Sai waited until she returned from taking care of the tray before responding to the second question, standing to meet her on the way back and said, "I think I might, though I'd need to collect my roommate before arriving. I haven't met him directly yet, but something tells me I need to look out for him. Call it instinct, I guess." This stemmed more from what he saw in the other's luggage in the room they were to share. It wasn't messy, but something about it pointed toward someone who wasn't very... worldly, so Sai felt like he'd end up looking out for his new roommate. Not that he'd mind overmuch, as long as the other wasn't annoying in some way.
He started to move to lead the way out of the cafeteria as he added, "Something tells me you want to go, but not alone since you're new, yes? Well, if we can find my roommate, all I know is his name is Nova, by the way, the three of us could go together. That way you don't show up alone, but it also doesn't seem like a date. I mean no offense by that, but we just met and I'd rather not encourage scandalous rumors about a new student on her first day... or any day, for that matter." Sai truly meant no offense, and while Delaney seemed like a nice girl, he didn't think she'd ever seem as more than a friend to him. There were two reasons for this, one was her being an angel, which made him feel a bit odd just talking to her, dating her would be even worse for him. The other was that his interests... did not normally lie with girls, he didn't overlook them entirely, but the male students drew his eye more often than the girls did.

Delaney smiled as she walked back up to Ezyael after putting her tray away. Nodding at his comment about collecting his roommate before going to the party she had to agree. "I can understand that, my brother was always looking out for me before he started training. If you want we can go and get him now and head to the party if you want." Following next to Ezyael as he lead the way out of the cafeteria. She really had no idea where anything was other then her room and the lunch room. Which worried her, but she was sure she would figure things out with some help. Hearing Ezyael speak up she looked over to him for a moment before nodding her head as she blushed slightly. "That is true, i wouldn't want to draw much attention to myself and I am afraid that if I arrive alone I will do just that." Chuckling at his next comment Delaney placed a gentle hand on his upper arm before speaking. "There is no need to worry about offending me Ezyael, it take a lot more to do that. And thank you for taking that into consideration, I am glad to see that there are some people that aren't thoughtful of others." She had run into a few Angels that would do something or say something without any thought to those around them.

Emily walked into the cafeteria. She had just arrived from home, a day late for classes. Her wings were hidden, and she almost appeared human. Well, apart from the golden glow which took over her body. When among humans, they had their ways of keeping the glow down, but it weakened them. This was a sacrifice her sister had made for her human love. But Emily was not like her sister. She did not wish to give up her wings. Or so the term for marrying a human is.
Emily has dreams , literally, of a life beyond this. Well, not quite 'beyond'. This sun fairy can see the past, an unusual power for a fairy, but one she does possess. She sees dreams of her in a distant land, surrounded by an angry crowd and a fire burning her skin. Screams fill her nightmares, and often she is glad when the sun rises and rescues her. But sometimes, she would have very different dreams. These dreams would be of her walking in the forest, and she always seems a figure in the distance, but never reaches him. How does she know its a him? Well, she just does. She cant explain it and won't even try to.
She grabbed a tray and headed to a nearby table, hoping that someone would arrive soon. Oh how she hated sitting alone. But thats what she gets for arriving late. But she did fly all the way here, airline tickets were just too expensive and most required having an actual destination. The school was well hidden. So she had just flown, it had saved her a lot of hassle.
Dancing bears, painted wings. Things I almost remember And a song someone sings one upon a december Someone holds me safe and warm, Horses peace through a silver storm. Figures dancing gracefully across my memory.

【 Lyla walked into the cafeteria and grabbed a tray. She instantly sensed the fairy, and was a bit surprised. It was a bit rare of fairies to come, the poor things were so rare in general. Wars ravaged the fairy species, and they fought among themselves. It was almost impossible to see one, and here was one. In fact, one of the rarest types, a sun fairy. Lyla walked to the table and sat down. "Hi, I'm Lyla." She said, introducing herself. She was eager to make new friends with the girl.
Emily smiled. "Emily." Lyla looked the girl over a bit more. Oh...she looked like a freshmen. Just then Amelia walked in as well. The junior sat down at her own table, but not too far off. The werewolf was not keen on the mixing, which was fine. Everyone had their own preferences, so she would not be rude. And for the most part Amelia was actually really nice, but she definitely was not raised in a mixing society. It was always easy to tell.
Lyla and Emily chatted a bit, and Lyla found out that Emily was a freshmen. "Well I do think you will like it here. This school has so very much to offer, it is quite a marvel. Now pardon me, but you are a sun fairy correct? Tell me about your family, if you so would allow." She sun fairy smiled and started speaking, having no trouble. "Well, I have a mother and father and a older sister. But My sister is married." The two girls continued chatting away, happy. 】
I have a hope, I have a dream. I want to belong, I want to be seen. I can fly, but Ive never found somewhere worthy to land.

Amelia walked in, grabbed a tray, and walked to a table not far off from Lyla and Emily. Amelia liked Lyla and all but...she preferred to be around wolves. Eating was always something she did with her pack, so for her it was something...special. And during her first two years she had ate alone in her room, simply because the different smells of all the species had driven her mad. But she was better now. She was able to identify the species , better then any others of her old pack, and she able to identify them quickly. Well, for the most part. She was still a bit slow when it came to half breeds. And fairies, she had never smelled a fairy. So as she sat at her table she stared at the Sun fairy, she was not quite sure what to make of the glittering girl. She just didnt sense her as a threat which meant she would not worry about it too much.
She looked back down at her food and started to eat. She had a bit of work to do, so she would not spend too long in the cafeteria. Okay, so she was avoiding the other students, so what? She took a bite of what...was supposed to be meat. Gosh , this was just like back at home. Except that she never went to public school at home. She, like the others in her pack, had been home schooled. But the United States in general was lacking in the quality food department. But at least she was getting that 'real high school experience'. Its every werewolves dream, right? No. Not really.
In fact her dreams consisted of mostly running through the woods. Not to advanced right? But another scent caught her attention. It was scary, and it went off in her head as a threat. She looked around, but her eyes locked on the alien. She had no idea what it was, so she quickly looked away. What was that girl? Why was she sending all the sirens off in her head? Was she dangerous?

The alien princess walked into the room, but did not grab a tray. The food smelled horrible, and honestly she was here to observe, not indulge in food. She sat down at a far off table, and reached into the pocket of her dress and pulled out a small device. Some might mistake it for a cellphone, but it was much more then that. She could communicate with home, check messages from home, scan things, look things up. Okay it was like a cellphone, but without the need for service or for cell coverage, and no monthly bill.
Like most on her planet she enjoyed technological advances. She loved the atmosphere of home, so being on Earth was a shock, but she would adapt. She always did. She looked around the room, her eyes shocking and out of place against her mortal appearing form. Her green eyes were her natural eyes, and it was the only clue that she may not be all she seems. But she was not mortal, nor was she a 'other' like those at the school. She was indeed an alien. Her natural form might be shocking, so she had chosen to stay disguised.
Truth be told, males of her race did not possess the ability. Certain females among her race, could change form as a adaptive ability. She used it now to look human, though she was anything but. She looked back down at her device, and sent off a message to her father, the King. He wanted to know how she was doing, and what the planet was like.

Xestilaphon had left class, the assignment was simple enough. Use a form of defensive magic or in his case Psionic abilities, which pretty much functioned like a form of magic just the source of power was different. He assumed his natural shape, shifting in the hallway. His goal remained to find Ne'acara, seeing as he had become her tutor and sponsor, she had a right to know after all. He opened up his own mind and began to search through the others. Any recent thoughts or ideas about where she might be.
It didn't take long for him to find her, the Cafeteria became his destination and he arrived soon enough. Upon entering he reached up and touched the side of his face gently. His eyes darted around from one person to another until he found her. What followed was the usual procedure for him. Reaching out he touched her mind, gently at first before finally seeping into it. Even though she wasn't from this world, his powers would still take effect. Would she noticed him? It was difficult to say from his perspective. Either way she should notice him soon enough.
'Hello and do not be alarmed' he mentioned with a single thought. He allowed a calming feeling to leak in from his own mind into hers. Right now he kept from picking her mind apart even if he could. 'Azura sent me, I will be your tutor and sponsor here' he explained. As he talked with her through his mind he approached her and waved, showing himself. At this time he was one of the few not in a human form. This one felt better for the most part but he could easily switch to another. 'My name is Xestliaphon, but you are welcome to call me Xest' he thought. From there he moved to her side across from her.
He didn't say much else and allowed her to get a good look at him. His eyes remained fixed on her, they didn't blink merely watched. A few moments past before he asked her something. 'With that out of the way do you need anything? And is there anything you would like to ask me' he inquired.
The alien looked at the creature. She did not like her mind being invaded, and boy had she noticed. She was from a planet where such an ability is not...possible. For her , this was a curiosity. Something to discover. She ignored his comments and question. She opened her communicator and a scream popped up, almost like a hologram. She moved a few things around, and then closed it. She then looked back at the creature. What was it? Its form did not shock her, in fact, she rather liked its form. It was fairly similar to her own natural form.
But as she spoke her words were neutral, having no emotion, except perhaps annoyance. "I do not know this term, Sponsor. I am aware that a adult of this facility has deemed it appropriate for me to be watched. I am also aware that I am supposed to adhere to this, with no...reluctance." She looked at her communicator then back at Xest. "I am Ne'acara of Targoria." She gave her formal title. She had a bit of a problem using slang and common language. After all, every day she had to adapt. She knew english, but only from what her people had picked up during their hunts on earth. It meant piecing things together.
"I have to learn about this...world. Tell me how you entered my mind. This is no skill of my planet. " She spoke with a factual type tone. It was like she was a computer. Its rather funny, because she did have emotions. She did have times when she smiled and laughed. But, that was around her own people. She was here to either initiate or prevent war. Nothing more, well...besides learning about these 'non humans'. Her father was eager to know how they were different, if they were different, from the normal mortals.

Xest sat there and listened to her speak at this moment. So she wasn't aware of the meaning of the word sponsor? He would do her an favor and merely gave her the appropriate knowledge, ahh the joys of a metal link. Although he did find her bit of technology quite interesting, holograms and what not. He wondered how it worked and could probably take from her at a later time. If could have grinned he would have. So she wished to learn of this world? and of his powers. Well that could be done in a matter of moments at least from his perspective.
'It is part of my nature as a changeling and I have not quite entered your mind, merely reached out and touched a portion of it. One that allows us to speak like this, it is known as the link by other species but my people do not have a word for it' he thought. His kind existed in a different state them most, at least when they where near one another. Their minds by their very nature linked together to form a collective. Others could join of different races but leaving was a difficult task for them or even making sense of it. 'As to how it works, its difficult to explain' he mentioned. It wasn't a simple task to explain the whole matter but he could do what he planned regardless.
'It would be simpler to show you but that has its risks, it would link our minds further then they are. There are no secrets only understanding and breaking the link might take sometime, as I do not know how your mind works' he thought. Honestly it was hard to establish such connections with different species. Humans and others where simple enough, their minds simple and easy to invade. Her own was new to him but his own probably was to her.
'So what do you have to say about my offer' he asked in a curious tone. He hoped she did. It would make life far simpler for the two of them. She would gain any of the knowledge he had, his memories, emotions, thoughts, everything that went on in his mind. He would gain the same from her and that presented some risks. Although he maintained a neutral position, regardless of what.
She looked at him, most interested in this mind link. However, she was a bit...put off by the idea that he might get to learn things about her people. She looked around the room, and stood up. She was making a difficult choice, but this is what being a Princess meant. And she would not allow herself for skip out on an opportunity to learn about this planet. And the good news was that, she knew no military strategy. He might learn that she controls the army, but it was only once war was declared that strategies were decided upon. He also might learn that was vicious, when she so wanted to be.
She looked around, and made her choice. "Very well, you may...make this bond. It is important that I understand this planet. But be warned, in my mind you might see things that you should not. And before you do this....I must have your vow, that you will not use anything you learn against me or my people. A solemn vow. Keep in mind, that before you make the vow, that to break it would mean death." Her kind kept their vows, that was probably one of their more noble traits.
She was still standing up. She saw his natural form, and wondered if it would be beneficial to be in her natural state. She decided against it. In this environment, it might catch a few of the others....off guard. They were not ready to see her. They may not handle it well, though they seemed to handle this...Xestialphon rather well.

Xest waited there for her answer and was surprised when she accepted it without so much as a second thought it seemed. She would be the first too and perhaps the only one but he planned to go through with it regardless of that. He couldn't help but let his own excitement leak out at this moment, she would be aware of it. 'You have my word that I will not use what I learn against you or your kin' he mentioned. He always had to option to use the knowledge he acquired to his advantage. He mentioned being able to hear the thoughts of many people at once and of course you picked up on something that someone might not want to share.
From there he got started. Her perception of the world would warp, her vision would become hazy before being enveloped in a bright light. What happened next would occur over a second or so but it would seem longer to her. Out of seemingly no where, he could be seen walking towards her. Reaching out he held onto the side of her face and leaned his head in. The blacks of his eyes would soon expand and consume his eyes and she would be unable to look away. She would feel his consciousnesses melded with her own, the exact experience was difficult to describe, but the two would be one with one another in a matter of a second. From there the figure of him let go of her face and a rush of wind came before bringing her back to reality.
Nothing had happened to her body, they where still in the cafeteria. The event took only a few seconds. Neither of them had moved and everything seemed to be in the proper place. Although she would feel his mind, the two literally became one at this point. One mind made up of two individual. Each could feel on their own but was perfectly aware of the other. This extended to their senses as well. Nothing was hidden, she would understand that he would hold onto his word. 'The link has been made but I can not let go of it until the start of the new day. Your mind is more complicated then that of the others here' he mentioned.
'But this works to your advantage, it will take time for you to make sense of this, as I have not given you access to certain facets of my ego. Simply because it will be overwhelming at this moment' he added in the moments to come. Now she would be aware of how his abilities worked, where they came from to a certain degree. 'Hmm and might I say your natural form is quite interesting, along with your background' he thought. He had already began to sift through everything that was her.
The whole experience was....so incredibly out of this world. She was an alien, but her civilization was formed from technology. This was...magic. This was something, not what she knew. And as he spoke, it snapped her out of her own thoughts. She was not quite sure what to say for a moment. "Yes, my kind are more advanced in many ways compared to human civilization. Our minds store all of our existence. Along with the advancements of the technology of my planet. As Princess I know many things that may not be understood by most." She was a bit interested that he managed to actually find her natural form from her mind. She missed her form already. She hated this human form, it felt...odd to her. She felt like she was trapped. She missed her tail. At the end of her tail was a razor sharp nail like extremity. It was a way she protected herself.
Looking at this creature, she found him very interesting. She was glad that he would keep his vow. It was a little early to have to execute someone but her father would not be angry at her. First of all, her father adored her. She was the future of the planet, and besides, vows were taken seriously. If she did not execute someone who broke a vow to her, her father would be furious. It was part of their culture. He would see as an insult to his people and also to his daughter.
Her brothers were already eager to declare war. Her brothers were prince's but they would not become king. She would be queen. Their monarchy is not decided based upon age or gender. It is simply the ability to be the best. Like her father, she possesses the greatest adaptations among her people, and she is the most capable in line for the throne.

Zarek left the classroom and entered the lunch room, he was quite hungry so as he stepped up to the counter he grabbed up a few different things, covering his tray with different foods and drinks. He stood in front of the lunch lady and paid for his food and drinks before moving to a table near a window and sat down and started to eat. He knew that he was going to be going to the football field after this to run and just mess around, that is unless someone caught his attention, which hadn't happened yet.
