Rant about the Shira and Atticus' relationship, lol
Wow...
Alright.
The relationship between Shira and Atticus, to me, is very cute but at the same time the most complicated thing ever. Their personalities are pretty opposite of each other, Atticus being rather straight to the point it seems and likes to act on his own accord while Shira is a bit more unsure and also likes to think things through before acting. When they first became partners, I was planning on having Shira really dislike Atticus at first because of their different personalities but, later, that seemed to alter since Shira ended up seeing why Atticus was the way he was when she had to save him from Despair. It was a bit easier for Shira to befriend Atticus after that plus he seemed to warm up to her as well. They still had their occasional issues though.
There has been many times where Atticus and Shira have had quarrels whether it be relationship wise or their views on things like fighting but I personally think that helps them out a bit since, in order to be good partners, you need to argue then and there I suppose. Atticus is a bit difficult to predict sometimes, so it can be complicated for me to post as Shira since I am never sure of what Atticus will do before or after I post.
Still, Shira loves Atticus both as a person and as a partner and, despite their fights, their souls still seem to compliment each other. Shira always seems to act like the calm in the storm for Atticus and seems to be one of the few that can snap him out of his madness. I would like to think that Atticus thinks the same way about her as she does for him since they have been through a lot.
Altogether, I like the relationship they have. It shows complication but at the same time I like the cute moments they have together especially after a difficult situation. It was the first romance for one of my characters in the guild which made me really like the pairing.
I also hope that Shira won't be getting anymore scars in the future. That last hit during the Arc was pretty intense.
On another note, doing rants based on characters is pretty fun to do... -w-
((Hope I did it alright. Since this pair has been together for over a year, I have a lot to say about it but I didn't want this rant becoming a jumbled mess))
